Inspirational Media - Conversations

Harry Greenwood, a seasoned pastor and teacher, speaks on God's Household, describing the church as a living organism—the Body of Christ, the Temple of the Holy Spirit, and the Household of God. He explains how God builds the church from the outside in, the gates of the world, into an intimate fellowship that rests on revelation of the Father and the Son. Key topics include the authority given to believers to bind and loose, the roles of apostles and prophets, the shift from pursuing gifts to nurturing a worshiping community, and the movement from the outer court toward the Holy of Holies as life in the Spirit deepens. The talk also emphasizes love as the binding cement that holds the stones together, and the church’s calling to be salt and light in the world. Takeaways include understanding your place in the Body of Christ, learning to foster authentic fellowship and worship, and embracing the Spirit’s empowering move to advance God’s purposes in daily life.

00:00:00 Speaker: If you're just feeling a little underneath the weather. Why not come above the weather? Hallelujah! In the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Just our believing allows us to receive what we need from God. And something wonderful about the Spirit of God. You don't always have to understand anything to receive it. You just got to need it. That's why you get peace that passeth all understanding. Amen. Right. Just close your eyes. If you know this chorus. And just let the Holy Spirit just lift us up. Right. Thank you Lord. For your peace that passes all my understanding. All fellowship with me. Thank you Lord. For your mercies that are new to me. Morning. Are you Lord? Hallelujah! Oh, thank you Lord. At this time, if you've never done this before, I'd like you to raise your hands. You love the Lord tonight. You know, it's wonderful when you start to give to the Lord first what you get back. Or your giving develops your capacity to receive. Hallelujah. Right. You feel like raising your hands. Do but do as unto the Lord. Hallelujah. Thank you Lord. For your peace that passes all my understanding. Thank you Lord. For your fellowship with me. I you, Lord. For your mercies that are new to me this morning. Thank you Lord. For. Me, Lord. Now you can really feel the presence of God now. But let's go deeper and let's go higher. Let everything that is within you now reach out to him. And as you're thanking him, you're receiving what you're thanking him for. Thank you, Lord. We are at, um. I understand. Thank you. Jesus. Thank you Lord. For our fellowship with me. Thank you Lord. For your mercies that I new to me each morning. Thank you Lord. Oh thank you. Hallelujah I surrendered all to see. See, brother did it all. In Kramatorsk. Ever available. For deeper Recorriendo city videos. Oh, hallelujah. Already sorry, but in order. To be productive only. Pretty hard for la Prairie are all. Reporter. Come on. Oh ah ah ah ah. Thank you all. For your support. You. Understand me? Thank you. Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus, that you're here tonight. Lord. With me. Lord. Hallelujah! Thank you. Jesus. Oh, bless your lovely name, Lord. The name above every name. Thank you. Jesus. Oh, bless your wonderful name, Lord. Thank you Jesus. Oh, thank you Lord. Oh, thank you Lord. We're going to pray now and then. I'm going to minister for a while. Dear father, we are very aware that you have so much to teach us. All of us, Lord. And the Holy Spirit is such. He's such a wonderful teacher. We thank you, Lord. The teachers present again tonight. Hallelujah. We thank you, Lord, that you can lead us into the truth of what we need to know to make us free in the areas of our life where we're in bondage. Thank you, father, that you are so wonderful that you want to meet our need more than we actually want you to meet it. We thank you that we can never match your love, Lord. But we can have it. We thank you tonight, Lord, that you love each person. And in that love you have made ample provision for every need. We bless you, Lord Jesus, because you're present with us the same yesterday, today and forever. And because you haven't changed. It means you can change all those things that need to be changed and that we have a Lord present who is greater than all the needs represented. And we are thrilled about it. Lord, we want everybody to know that we've got a God that is bigger than all the needs of this world. We've got a God that is present in a very present help in a time of trouble. Thank you, Lord, for always being present, for never getting there too late because you've never left. Thank you, Lord, because you're here tonight. We're here also by divine appointment. And may each one of us be conscious of this fact that we are here because you want us to be here, but you want to do us good. Lord, every good and perfect gift comes from above. So now, Lord, as we reach out again to know you beyond our minds, that you might reveal to us by your spirit that revelation that's necessary to take us on in this relationship, that others might be blessed In what we find. Lord Jesus, we thank you again in your precious name. Amen. I'd like to say how thrilled I am to be at this conference, and also to have a dear brother in the Lord, brother Tom. Not not Thomas. But brother Tom and I could endorse everything that he said this morning. It was so wonderful because I don't get much chance to listen to people because I'm always talking. It was lovely just to sit back and listen and to hear so many things that really blessed me, to hear them from somebody else in a very wonderful way. Praise the Lord for his ministry and you pray for him tomorrow morning, because after saying nice things, he'll need all the prayer he can get, right, Tom? Um. I'd like you to turn with me, please, to Matthew's gospel. It's essential for every Christian who's been filled with the Holy Spirit to know what God is doing. If you don't know what God is doing, you'll end up more than likely doing your own thing. We are not here just to experience gifts of the spirit or the provision of God. God has such a high calling in Christ Jesus for each one of us. And we've got to find our calling, and we've got to find our place in the body of Christ, and we've got to operate. In what God wants us operating in. Now, that's very important because you will not be waiting on your ministry if you don't know what it is, and you won't also be developing in the spirit. If you're not believing you're there, you're forever trying to get into the spirit. Forget it. You are not in the flesh, the Bible says, but in the spirit you'll find that you'll need to turn to it in Romans eight nine. Now the Lord Jesus Christ asked a question which we heard this morning. Oh, no, I heard it somewhere else. Sorry. Getting bad, isn't it? Where did you get as old as I am? Who do men say that I am? And when Peter replied, thou art the Christ, the son of the living God. Jesus said in in. Matthew sixteen seventeen And Jesus answered and said unto him, blessed art thou, Simon barjona for flesh and blood hath not revealed this unto thee, but my father which is in heaven. We'll just pause there for a moment. Flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my father, which is in heaven. No one knows the son, but whom the father reveals him to. Jesus said, and nobody knows the father, but whom the son reveals him to. And this is a key. We heard it this morning, but I wanted to connect it up. It's a key that each individual has a revelation of the father and a revelation of the son. I can remember, too, when God revealed himself to me as a father. And from that day he called me son. And once I knew my father. I came into trust, which is one step beyond faith. Trust has arrived. Faith is arriving. Trust rests in God and leaves the rest to God. That's why you have it. In Isaiah twenty six verse three, thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because that's the only reason you'll keep your mind stayed on him, because he trusted in him. Alright. Trust is wonderful. That comes out of relationship because father and son relationship is a love relationship. It's not just Almighty God and you as a child of God, It's father and son relationship which deepens to the depth that you desire it. His desire is obvious because the relationship is eternal. That means down here in time, you can enjoy the depth of that relationship. To the amount of your fellowship. Isn't it lovely to think that my God has made himself available twenty four hours a day? But all my relationships are based on revelation. What God has revealed of himself to me. Now, if the Lord says, I am the Lord, that healeth thee in Exodus fifteen twenty six. What do we think? I am the Lord that healeth thee. Well that's wonderful. But when God reveals I am the Lord that healeth thee. What happens to you? You get healed. Mm. Amen. So then, because we preached a message that has been just the message we haven't preached, Christ, people have come into a salvation but not continued with the Savior. Relationship is more important than anything else today, because it's out of that relationship that you're going to minister and to the depth of that relationship. Relationship is a decision that you make out of God's decision. He wants you Do you know the value of him? You'll only know that as God reveals himself to you. So we search him out. Now, God is not the father of your soul. He's the father of your spirit. And God is spirit. So therefore, all his children are spirit spiritual. He that is born of the spirit is spirit. In John three verse six, you're familiar with it. And also in Hebrews. Hebrews twelve verse nine, you have how much more should be in? Should we be in subjection unto the father of spirits? And what? And live. So therefore, if I am one with my Lord, he that is joined to the Lord is one spirit. Then from that moment I come into revelation of knowing him, not about him. God wants us therefore to know him intimately. We heard that, but I wanted to say it. He has a desire towards us. His thoughts are continually towards us. God is constantly seeking out ways to bless you and me, to direct us. And some of us don't believe it, do we? We think he's got a big stick. Why? We come to him and we might as well say what we think. Well. You again. God doesn't say that. His love hasn't come to the end with you. Praise God for that. Amen. Now it's on this revelation that he is going to build his church. Jesus is going to build his church. And I want you to come back with me now to Matthew sixteen. And I say unto thee, that thou art Peter. And upon this rock that's the revelation that he has just given. Thou art the Christ. That's the rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. The gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I remember reading if you do too. That was back in Genesis. Remember Genesis twenty two. Would you turn with me just for a moment? Genesis twenty two. We'll just read a few verses from fifteen. And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, and said, by myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son, that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the seashore. And thy seed shall possess the gate of his Enemies. The gate of his enemies. Now, Jesus said, the gates of hell would not prevail against the church that he was building. He's building his church, not yours, not mine. His. It's less complicated that way. So there'll only be one. Amen. Glad you appreciate that. Now, the seed of Abraham. And because we are Christ, we are the seed of Abraham. You'll find that in the last verse in Galatians three. We are the children of Abraham by faith, right? But we have possessed the gate of our enemy. The gate is the place of administration, where the elders sit, where everything is controlled. So we possess the control of our enemies. How about that? But they do not control us. We control them. Whatsoever things it goes on to say about the church that you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven, and whatsoever things you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Now here we are in a position of command and authority. We have two things now with us that is power and authority. And as it's translated in Luke chapter ten, behold, I give you power over all the power of the enemy. It doesn't say that. It says, behold, I give you authority over all the devils ability. So now you are in the controlling place, inasmuch as you and I are controlled for out of our subjection to Christ the head, the controller. That's how much dominion will have over our enemies. It is the inheritance we have inherited. The gate of our enemy, the control, the going in and the going out. And also all the activity as well. Now we're in a position. Why does God want us to possess? He wants us to take those things that are rightfully ours, by virtue of the fact that we are sons of God. Nature itself is waiting for the manifestation Travailing waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. Angels are waiting also. For what? That the heirs of salvation will start to possess their possessions that they're ministering spirits are only ministering spirits to the heirs of salvation. You don't believe you're a son. You don't know the father. If you know the father, then also you're one with the father. Jesus said, I am my father are one. Wonderful. So everything that his father told him, he spoke. Spoke it out. And what did he do? He acted on everything. His father never let him down. Never made a mistake. And out of that wonderful trust, he could go all the way to Calvary. Abraham trusted his heavenly father too. He took his only begotten son and went all the way as far as he was concerned, to death. Believing on the third day. Hallelujah. He believed in the resurrection. What a man! Isn't he fantastic? Every time I think of Abraham, I praise the Lord. Thank you, Abraham. And I'm glad that faith that you've got. We've got something even more wonderful than that. We came into the gift of the faith of the Son of God, and he's the author and the finisher of our faith. Hallelujah. And do you know what he said before he left the work that I do? You shall do also. And greater works than these shall you do when you go to my father. Folks, there was a period in the church when everybody was thrilled with works. But have you noticed there's a people being called out from a people for something more than works. There's a building to put up. Hallelujah. And Jesus is building his church today. I want you to see this clearly. Once you understand what is taking place, it's taking place all over the world. Not just here, there. All over the world. Right, then, if he's building his church, he must be building something out. If he's building something in. Right. That's what you have in an ordinary building, isn't it? Have you ever gone outside? The outside isn't the same as the inside, but in the inside we are made comfortable. It's to live in. But outside it's to keep things out. The rain. All the things that we don't want inside. That's why we put doors in the building. To keep people out. We don't want in the inside. But now he's building his church. And when he comes back, he's going to put the roof on it so you can take your roof off. There may be little more to be built. Hallelujah. Thank you. Now, I want you to turn with me now to Ephesians. There is a little more we've already heard than gifts and ministry. Ministering gifts are fine, and they're all necessary. Scaffolding is necessary to put the building up. But there's something more important than that. The building itself. Every one of us. really deep down inside, needs to know this, that Jesus Christ, out of his love for the church he gave himself, he gave himself. He loved the church and gave himself. We see, we read that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. God giving up his son, but Jesus of his own volition. He loved the church and gave himself. Oh, I think it's wonderful. Hallelujah! Now you've got Ephesians, have you? You've discovered them. Paul had a problem there, too. I find it very difficult not to want to read the whole of this, but I'm only going to read a few verses. Uh, it's hard to read a few verses, isn't it? Well, read from verse nineteen. I'll throw in Tom's verse this morning that the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints? That's verse eighteen of Ephesians one. There you are. You didn't get a word of knowledge. I'm so sorry. Never mind. We all have our failures. But. Ephesians chapter one. And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us? Ward, who believe according to the working of his mighty power which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead. Hallelujah! What a Friday, and set him on his own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality that was in the margin, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named not only in this world, but also in that which is to come and have put all things under his feet. That is the authority, put all things under him, and given him to be head over all things to the church. Head over all things to the church now, which is his body. Listen, the fullness of him that filleth just one or two preachers. That is the reverse version. Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all. Now we all know. And John one sixteen it says of his fullness, have you all received but the fullness of him that filleth all in all? Isn't God good? Hallelujah! Now we have something remarkable as we travel over to chapter two. You'll hear these terms today the body of Christ, the Bride of Christ, the temple of God, the household of God. All these terms refer to the church, the body of Christ, right? It is not an organization, nor is it a denomination. It's a living organism Made up of lively stones, not tombstones. Now we look at verse nineteen. I'll throw verse eighteen in for those who want to deal with Jehovah's Witnesses. For through him we have we both have access by one spirit unto the father. It's eternity. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God, who are the household of God, and are built upon the foundation of apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom all the building fitly framed together. Then it does something when it's fitly framed together groweth unto a holy temple in the Lord. Here we have now a building growing. It's from church to household to temple. And if you look at the dealings of the Holy Spirit with the church on as a whole, you'll see that that's just what's been taking place. Lots of things are happening. But when he's building the external, which is the church outgoing. It was the church that advanced. Now, I want you to think of it like this. I'm not going to draw anything. Think of it. We'll put a a square. That's my house. Thank you. The church, the external. That which is facing the world, that which is facing the enemy. Dealing with the world and the enemy. And it's so built not to let the world in. That's to keep the world out and to keep the enemy out. So the gates of hell, right down to the very place. The strongholds, the gates of hell, shall not prevail against it. Now look in the inside. There isn't a fight going on in the inside. We've stopped fighting each other. Now we're loving each other. Isn't it wonderful? Amen. It's a couple of us anyway. Now on the inside. What have we got on the inside? We have a household. Now we're coming to relationship. At last. We're coming to fellowship in the spirit. In the household. We have fellowship one with the other. Isn't it wonderful? The church is coming back to fellowship. When is always harping? Shouldn't be. That's the wrong word. When it's always saying about fellowship. But it's true. It's having fellowship. We are having fellowship, folks. You won't realize what's happening to us. Amen. We're coming into that love relationship. Because when you know the father and you really have a revelation of the son, you have no problem with your brother and sister. I can assure you they may have a problem with you, mind you, but you have no problem with them. As I once, as I once stated to the world, I said, I'm in fellowship with every minister and every Christian in the world. Mind you, they're not all in fellowship with me. But that's not my problem. That's theirs. Some people can find enough grace to get past my jacket. And then they were fine. I bought it here. Now, can you see what's going to happen now? God wants us not just playing around in the household, feeding each other. He wants to move us on to the temple aspect, which is the worship aspect. And when the worship ascends up spiritual songs, spiritual offerings ascends up to him as a sweet smelling savor. You know what's going to happen. The glory is going to come down, and the glory is going to fill the latter house. The latter house. That means the temple. The glory is going to fill the temple. Now God wants to dwell in a place of worship, of praise, adoration he wants. In other words, the Holy of Holiness. And you notice in the outward court in the tabernacle, you know, what took place there. And the church has been there for quite a long time. We've moved into the Holy Place. We now come into another relationship with each other to activity. Movements of the spirit. Gifts of the spirit. But God wants us to come into his own realm. The realm of glory. It's from glory to glory. And where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty, and there is the glory of the Lord. Now I believe that God has saved something for last. He's not going to give it to us while we're still playing at church. He's got something to reveal to all of us together. And this is not going to come until we're functioning all the way through. Now, externally, we have to face Satan and the things of the world. We are challenged by things in our business, in our home life. Everywhere we go, we are exposed. We're in this world, but not of it. Now has God given us something to lift us above it, where we are not affected by the world, but we affect the world as salt being savored. Are we here for God to reach out through? What for? Just to offer a salvation that will deliver a person from sin? Or the penalty of sin? No. To deliver them from the power of sin. To give him an endless life. A life that is above sin in Christ Jesus. We are here to challenge Satan's strongholds no matter where they are in this world. We are here to do that. Now the church is the external. It's made outside to stand the weather. The storms, the conflict, everything that's going to come against it. And no matter what the what the devil devises, it is, in no way is it possible for him to overcome the church of Jesus Christ because, Hallelujah, the church is devil proof. Like we are bulletproof. The church is proof. That means God has locked him outside. So now inside we can relax. Now this is what we're coming to the point of relaxing, resting in the Lord and having fellowship with one one with the other. For inside, we act differently now you'll notice. The evangelist reaches out to bring them in five fold. Ministry. Want to get them in or to keep them in? Now. What is the purpose, then, of the apostle? Prophet? This is the. This is the foundation. This is the foundation. Unfortunate for us. We've started at the wrong end. They started off with the apostles and prophets and so forth. We're starting at the other end. And now God is bringing forth through the body in the body of Christ these ministries for the perfecting of the saints, for the building up of the edifying of the body of Christ. He's bringing these ministries out to the open. So we recognize the man, not because he stands up and said, excuse me, I'm an apostle. It's not him that tells us it's his ministry. It's his office that tells us he is an apostle. Now, in the last days, then God is going to bring forth so many ministries that the church not will not alone be free from their needs, but they'll be opened to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth, to worship the father in spirit and in truth. Now this is something wonderful to me personally. When I saw this a long time ago, I thought the household of faith, that's what they're called, right? Would you like to look? Just turn over to Galatians. Just over the corner. Chapter six. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of the household of faith, or of the household of faith. It's nice to know that, isn't it? Who are of the household of faith? Now this is the Lord's house. Remembering now again. Externally. You've got your square inside it. You've got the household of God. And in the very center that means that which comes through the ministering in the household that sets you free to worship. God doesn't want us always getting sick, getting healed, getting sick, being up and down, sinning. Overcome this and all the time being ministered to in the household. He wants us to come to something special, come into a relationship with him whereby we worship him in spirit and in truth. Now God seeketh such. Can you imagine the heart, the heart of the father, wanting the relationship that he's got with his son to be your and your experience and my experience. But dare I dream? It blows my mind. You mean that God would love me as much as he loves his own son? Yes. Yes, indeed. And what does he want me to do? He wants me to be released in that love. To worship him in spirit and in truth. There is something deep down inside. Deep calling to deep today. Have you found it in people? They just don't want the Lord. They just don't want the Lord for what they can get out of him. They want the Lord for himself. And it's this desire. And God has created this desire within us that cannot be satisfied with things that we get from God, but only with God himself, Self so that we are revealing the father. Jesus said, if you've seen me, you've seen the father. The world wants to see Hallelujah. And they're going to see. They're going to see the fullness of the Godhead. Hallelujah! Folks, can you imagine the reaction? We're going to have some action after that reaction. I can guarantee you that at this moment, I notice that most of the church are in the household now, some coming into the realization that lots of things are available to them, some of them are coming into ministry and so forth. But first of all, something takes place when you come within the household, something God begins to deal with. And let's just look at Peter for a moment, shall we? Now God is putting his house in order. Remember whose house it is. It's his house. Do you remember whose provision it is? It's his provision. Isn't it so good that God has provided everything? I think it's fantastic. Are you comfortable in my father's house? You got your feet up. Amen. That's where you can relax. Because, you know, it's like coming home. I don't come home to fight my wife. I come home to relax and to rest. And here's where I can, you know, rest and relax. I'm not on edge wondering if she's going to get at me or she's not going to get at me. When we come together, there should be such an atmosphere of love and fellowship that we can be healed of the things that we've suffered outside as the church, when we come inside, as the household when we come together. In other words, we should minister one to the other and loving each other. Many of the hurts would be healed, and the healing that needs to take place in the body of Christ today is worldwide. We need a lot of things healed, our suspicions of each other and all sorts of things. We need healing of relationships, husband and wives. This healing comes out of our fellowship, one with the other and our relationship with God. I believe all this has got to take place. God has specialist ministries coming forth to deal with every single problem that we've got, so that we might be free to minister to those that are in need, that we might be free also to give back to God what he's been waiting for. Worship. Now, would you look at verse seventeen of one Peter? chapter four. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God. And may I explain just a moment, that everything that we have allowed to come in that Calvary has not dealt with is still under judgment. Verse seventeen one Peter chapter four. But the time has come that judgment must first begin at the house of God. And if it first begin with us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of Christ? Now think for a moment everything that we have allowed in, everything that we've allowed into that household, will always be causing problems with us and with other people that is under judgment. And when the ministries are coming forth at the moment to clear up the household, clean it up, those things will be pointed out. There have already been meetings where this has happened, where the Spirit of God has revealed the state of a person, and in one fellowship, one church in England. Two elders got up and faced each other one morning. One said to the other, I hate your guts. And boy did he put some voice into it right across the assembly. Can you imagine what would happen in your church? And he the other. You know what the other elder said. And I hate yours too. And they'd been hating each other for years. But they both came before God, and they said why they hated each other. Jealousies. All the rest of it all came out and they confessed it. God cleansed them, delivered them, set them free. They had a revival on their hands. The rest when they saw the elders getting right. They followed suit very soon. All right, so it's with us first. Hallelujah. But you see what I'm trying to say? That which is under judgment. God will judge. The Spirit of God will deal with it. I was in a meeting once. That's how I got into the church. I was in, in one sense, the first time I got there, a young girl came forward. Well, she wasn't very old. She was about twenty. Sorry, I didn't mean that, but you know what I mean. Keep remembering that I'm getting older, but I place my hand on her head. She wanted the anointing of God that was on me at that point of ministry to to set her brother free, who was a backslider. So I put my hand on her head and I said, Lord, deliver this young lady from her terrible temper that has broken up her family. And by the time I'd finished, the Holy Spirit finished revealing this girl was broken down in tears and she wept. She was a strong brethren young lady who'd been filled with the spirit and let her. She went, you know, berserk on her family. Imagine what the problems that were caused there. But the point was this. I turned around to the other minister that was with me, and he said, that's thus saith the Lord. She was absolutely cleaned out right down to her toes next day, because the, the because the condition of our home was also revealed. Her mother came to that assembly, her mother, and stood up publicly and confessed and put it right before God. The whole household was changed. Now, I do not believe God intends to destroy with his judgment only that which is destroyable that which is not of him. He'll shake everything in your life and in my life which is not of him, because everything that's of him, you can't shake it. It shakes everything else, but you can't shake it. And I believe today God wants us to have an absolute sure foundation. So you've come into the charismatic movement, or you may have been involved in it, but where is it going to take you? It's going to take you on God's program. And God has always yearned for a temple, and he's becoming nearer from the tabernacle. Then we've got the temple, and then look who arrived. Hallelujah. God was in Christ and the word became flesh and tabernacled amongst us. Hallelujah. Tabernacled amongst us. And now what is God interested? He's interested now, and I think it's wonderful. First of all, increasing in our meeting. Also dwelling in us in all his fullness. And when I saw that, I couldn't believe it. We have the capacity to receive the fullness and of his fullness. Have you all received? Alright. You believe that? Of course you do. Now let me go on to another two verses that will be familiar to some. Oh, by the way, if you want to have another look at that. Having a high priest over the house of God, you'll find that. By the way, if you're interested, there's another reference in Hebrews chapter ten, which of course coincides with that Hebrews chapter ten, verse twenty one. It's not necessary to look at it. Having a high priest over the house of God. But you'll notice also in Hebrews, while we are there, could you turn with me to Hebrews chapter three? I think we must see this. If we have a family in heaven, there must be a house for them to dwell with dwelling on earth, right? And we are housing. The whole family. Hallelujah! Isn't that lovely? Verse six. But Christ as a son over his own house. Whose house are we if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope. Firm unto the end. Whose house are we? Hallelujah! What a beautiful building you are. Stones spewed out. And I laughed at that this morning. Who has God put you next to to rob the edges of? Giving you a wonderful wife. Well, praise God if you need grace to live with her. Amen. Think of what she needs to live with you. Hallelujah. But God is doing something. He's putting us together, folks. And, you know, there's only one thing that will keep us together. And that this new cement that he's using. It's meant to be the best. That's right. And it's called love. And it's called love. Now this love, Hallelujah endureth forever. And it allows you to look on your next stone. Without seeing anything wrong. Oh it's incredible. It covers a multitude of sins. And that's what God is doing. The building is going up. It's just getting some stones long enough in one place for him to cement them together. They keep flipping here, flipping there, flipping everywhere else all over the place. God wants you in his building, but he wants you to be in a place where you are spiritually fed, taken care of, and so forth. But also you're allowed to give and you're part of the family there, and you're loyal to the body of Christ there. Please remember, you can't just leave and join the body of Christ. You may be able to leave and join your own particular church or denomination, but you can't leave and join the body of Christ. No matter where you are, whether you're in or whether you're out, you're in the body of Christ. If you're born again of the spirit. But are you together? It's all right saying I'm in the body of Christ, but where am I together with the body of Christ? That's the most important aspect at the moment, that where are you together. Not where are you apart? Where are you? Together. Together? Hmm. The wonderful word. What were we looking for? Oh, yes. Whose house we are. We've got that settled. Now, I want you to turn to Ephesians. Please. Now, please see this then, the way God is doing it. A lot of us, you know, don't forget that we are body, soul and spirit, right? Well, many of us have had a religious, external life, the outward court. Some of us had a soulish relationship with God. The feeling realm. You know why art thou so cast down, O my soul? You know the feeling realm. Doing things out of the soulish realm. But now God has called us, called us to live in the holy place, the Holy. In our spirit, so that we can directly communicate with God and develop in this realm so that we have a natural spiritual life. God doesn't want to speak to us once every year at Mount Roskill. God wants a continuous relationship so that you are feeding off of him, and also he's receiving back from you which developed you in your relationship, which allows you to appreciate and love and worship and fellowship in a more wonderful way. I think God is really so good to all of us, don't you? He is so good. Now I want you to see what happens. as you function as a body. Ephesians chapter four. And we are reading verse sixteen. Alright, we'll throw in verse fifteen. But speaking the truth in love, which is the most difficult ministry in the world? Easy to speak the truth, isn't it? Why? God doesn't allow us to prune each other. There'd be nothing left. But. But speaking the truth in love may grow up into him in all things. Which is the head, even Christ. We know which way we're growing up. Hallelujah! From whom the whole body fit the body. Now, if God, then joint must function. Often enough, we are ministers of life. Hallelujah! We've got the words of spirit and the words of tonight. I wanted you to know that if you may have wondered what is actually taking place, is God having another movement called the Charismatic Movement? No, this is a time of refreshing from the Lord. That's what I call it, a time of refreshing from the Lord. What is God doing then? He is baptizing people in the Holy Ghost. Now, if there's no desire to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, then there's something wrong, very wrong with your spiritual life because it's what God is doing. Every person needs the power of God today. Now, if we're not, if we're going to be, if we're going to be slow and in stepping out or moving out with God. The devil certainly is not going to be slow. Is he doing today? He's awakening the whole world to the fact there are evils. And there's all sorts of interesting things to find out there in the supernatural. Have all sorts of things happening a revival of the occult, you name it. And we've got it happening today. Spiritism, and you name it, it's happening. People are finding out, wanting to find out. They're groping out in the realm that they're they are in the realm that they need to find out about, but they're going in the wrong direction, busy blinding the eyes of the world. And God is busy in opening the eyes. God is now speaking. Everybody out there in the world, they don't read their Bible, but they now God's got living epistles. He's got quite a lot to say to the first of all, to show them what a father is really like by spoiling us in his wonderful love, ministering to us so that they see that when we come together, we've got something special. We're not saying we're better than them. See, we're only saying what God says, not trying to compare ourselves in that sense, because what we're saying is this that God has a divine order, the household that's under his control, where there's not one person in need, because the early church, as they function together, there wasn't one amongst them that lacked becoming to the place where we'll be taking care of our elderly people that won't be going to homes. We'll be taking care of all the problem children and and that sort of thing. We'll be taking care of them ourselves because the body of Christ will be equipped to do so as each member member learns to function. Now, people are not content today with just getting a lot of knowledge about this, about that, about something else. They want to do something with what they get. Hallelujah. So that means then they're coming together, allows God to reveal to them what they need to know in their spirit so that they can go out and minister it. Now, what brings you out in the ministry today? A calling know your giving brings you out. You give what you get. What do you get from God? You only get from God what you need. What do you need? But God will only give you what you need. Now the challenge comes, you can only minister for what you've got in the Lord, and it grows and increases in the ministry. If you want to really flow today and you want to really glow today, you've got to need God for yourself, not just for your ministry. Now giving is living. You're living in what you're giving. You're never going to run out because the source isn't in you. It's in him. So now you'll never know what you're going to have, what you've really got available to you till you reach out to people. How can you reach out if you're in fear? Love casts out fear. So we've got to avail ourselves today. And where am I going to be loved first? God wants you to reach in and then reach out. Most of us have reached out with our problems, our difficulties and everything else. And instead of reaching in first and being ministered to and ministering, and then when they see what we've got inside, Hallelujah, that's what they'll come into. Amen. We won't have problem. Children's coming in, getting only just in and then drop outs. Not God's intention. God wants to keep in what he's got in. Amen. Im in a great blessing to me personally. The things that God has shared with me and they're very personal. Some of them they're not for. But I remember asking a question to a man who had a Pentecostal experience for thirty years and I said to him, Is God ever given to you personally revealed to you? Has he done for you personally in tongues and baptized in the spirit as God said to you personally or revealed of himself to you personally? Our father really missing our father. Each one of us need to say, ABBA, father, you can't say it except by the Holy Spirit. I want you to begin to call him father and begin to love him. Discover who he is. Then what happens? You'll function naturally in everything that God wants you. In a day of enlightenment, folks, God is restoring, putting back into its rightful place. If you like that which has been now straight yourself. Get before the Lord and ask him to reveal this to you. The church reaching out. The household. Reaching in the temple. Reaching up together like that and it will begin to make sense to you. You'll realize that God wants us reaching up, but how can we, if we're coughing our lungs out, or dying of TB, or depressed by evil spirits? Wouldn't have that inside. Who opened the door? Who let them in? Each one of us has the ability to close that door in the devil's face when he knocks, and Jesus to answer it. Each one of us has the power over Satan. We have the authority in the name of Jesus and the power in the Holy Ghost. God has not left us orphans, Hallelujah! But left us with such an inheritance because all of eternity to exploit it. We live as paupers in the household. Many of us live in there and we don't have enough money. With God's money now to learn to receive, it's very difficult. Do you find it easy to receive? How do you receive from God? Since all of a sudden you hold out your hand and he says, there's ten dollars here. Oh, thank you Lord. And another one, please. Thank you Lord. It'd be wonderful. It doesn't work like that and most of us know it. But do you realize that you receive by the Word of God that the Word of God is the evidence to faith, the assurance that you've got. That's as far as you go on the word, just believing it. And then it materializes. How God, how God meets your need, that's his problem. When you believe he's met it and the household is not easy, there's nothing you can see. You have to reach out and find it. Hallelujah. You've got to believe you've got it before you get it. But we're coming to that point. We're Beginning to move now in this lovely spiritual realm, beginning to move. And many of us now finding that by, as we minister to other the food, we also have a return ourselves. Did you notice that when they were when the the twelve were told to feed that multitude? I thought to myself, you know, Lord, that wasn't really fair. Here they were. And he was doing a little sympathy, sympathizing with them. And he said, now come on, boys. You've had a real hectic time. You haven't had so much time as to eat aside into a desert place and what came with them. The problem problems don't leave you behind. Isn't it wonderful if you could run away from them? But they don't. They generally follow you until their stomachs are full. And here. Now, here's a little problem for you. You feed them. Feed them. You imagine what they must have thought. Well, of course, the accountants got to work immediately. worked it out. Five hundred and. Well, what do we have in stock? The caterers got together. We have five loaves and two fishes. That's fine. What amongst. Then the brains got to work. What are those amongst so many? Reason. Reason said. That's the problem. Now that you can go as far as reason if you want. But reason will never be reasonable, so forget it. Here we are now, going beyond reason. Now. Why? How can I go beyond reason if Jesus is the reason you can? Hallelujah! So they give them. Give the Lord the problem and he blesses it. The loaves and the fishes. There's still a problem, folks. Work out naturally. You can't feed that amount of people with it. Five thousand. Mhm. You work it out. He made them sit down in fifties and then he started to go. Could you imagine now in the Middle East when they break the bread you hear a lot read a lot about in the acts. They break the bread. They just break it. Give one piece to the person. That person again breaks it or breaks off the piece that he's going to eat. So that piece can be used again by the household. So then that's why Jesus said, gather up. You know all that was left over. So he gathered them up. And how much was left? Over twelve baskets. One each. What a way to feed them. Lord, that was real smart, I must admit. Real smart. And I praise God. I mean, that's not just reason using your loaf. I'm sorry about that. That is the increase that cometh from God. Now God was allowed to increase. Then his supply, was he not? You see, by somebody that's his own son, and that's how his son acted. And father, many times you can imagine him praying. You know, I only pray for their sakes. You know, I know that you hear me at all times, because this wonderful realm and relationship that he was in with his father, in the realm of the spirit that allowed him to do things naturally. We have a creative word. Hallelujah. Have a word that reaches out and meets the need. It's hard to believe it. Just the blessing would multiply those loaves. But the each each person that ministered got a return. And what I'm saying tonight is this reach out to the Lord to really know him in the spirit you'll get for yourself. You'll also find will go on going around and going around and going around, and you gather up the remains a week later, or a month later, or a year later, you will go on to the temple next. I'm glad that you're my brother's the father. Thank you sir. The point where now I can hug my brothers and sisters. That's very difficult sometimes when you're a little inhibited yourself in many ways, but God sets us free in this love and guard your heart. Shake hands. Protect yourself from your brother and sister. I remember the days we did. You never know when he was going to get out of that doctrinal knife, stab you in the back arguing you wouldn't get the point. Thought today, then this thought today. We're not on the defensive, folks. It's God. Now, how is God tied you up to me? The only way you can get is to give. Oh, so it's no good. Me waiting. Sitting back and waiting. No, no. You've got to give to get. You are dependent on me, then? Yes. And I'm dependent on you. That we don't get for ourselves. Minister to minister to scholars here that want to go a little deeper and further on. It's worth a study. Three great feasts. The last one, for we are in that latter stage. I pray so that each person will go, God only builds in your life. Help us, Lord, to understand how big our salvation really is because our God is so big. Thank you, father, that you deliver us from everything. So Lord, as we live in the realm of perfection, in the spirit, we thank you together. Lord, this whole world right now came forward to the resurrection. May they realize what a price you paid. Allow you. We also will experience the glory that follows the problems and the difficulties. Grant this revelation and care of them. Your last provision. The whole body, the whole body. The whole body might behold the end product of just a church, a bride all the way through. Lord, we just love you. Bless you tonight. You will have presented to the world your self revealed. Lord, write those words in our heart.
