Good morning and

welcome to Morning Serial.

Okay, good morning and welcome to 2026.

And oh yeah, it's also Thursday and it's

another mini episode of Morning Serial.

Wow, we've got a lot going on today.

Well, happy New Year's Day to you.

This is going to be a great year.

And it's the only holiday that feels kind

of equal parts hopeful and sleepy because

I'm assuming you stayed up

to usher in the new year.

And that's really late for some of us.

Well, hey, here's a fun fact.

January is named after Janice, the Roman

God with two faces, one

that looks back and one

that looks forward.

Well, let's look forward to a great year

with a quote from

actress and birthday girl,

Andrea Rice, who said, quote, "You don't

have to know exactly who you are yet.

You just have to keep going."

End quote.

Now, this is a perfect

thought for day one of the year.

Clarity will come later,

but momentum starts right now.

Well, the number one song on this date

back in 2002 was

"Lose Yourself" by Eminem.

Maybe a great song to

set the tone for your 2026.

Totally relevant nearly a

quarter of a century later.

It's unbelievable.

Well, today isn't about resolutions.

It's about intention.

Be kind to yourself as

you step into what's next.

Hey, thanks for welcoming me in the new

year with Morning Serial.

We will see you tomorrow on another mini

episode with full

episodes back on Monday.

We'll see you back here tomorrow.

Have a fantastic day.
