Welcome to Estrepreneur, a podcast for entrepreneurs and leaders doing business and life God's way. Each week we discuss biblical and practical tips to improve your mind, business, spirit, relationships, and finances. Listen along as I speak with special guests on how to thrive in all aspects of life. Hi, I'm Edna. Like many of you, I wear many hats. I'm a military wife, mother, author, certified John Maxwell business and executive coach, trainer, and founder of Favor and wealth, where we help the good guys win. So tune in as we bring on the light. Well, hello everyone.
Edna Harding [00:00:42]:
Thank you for tuning in to another episode of the Esspreneur podcast. My name is Edna Harding, and I'm nothing but a messenger of life, as you could see. If you guys are watching this live, live on YouTube, I had a bit of a busy, busy day, so I am still going to show up here faithfully. I made a commitment to God that I was going to record these next 44 episodes within 90 days. And so that is what I'm doing today. And actually, just fun fact, I. We launched a women's group here in Huntsville, Alabama, and we launched it today, and it was just a few of us and, and it was exactly what I needed. You know, there's something about community, there's something about being able to be with your brothers and sisters in Christ, in this case, sisters in person, to fellowship with one another, share what's in our hearts, share what's grieving us, share the things that are.
Edna Harding [00:01:48]:
That are keeping us bound, share the good celebrations as well. But most importantly, share the word of God with one another. And I have been in this, like, less is more hump, I guess, this year. And I really have been enjoying the journey, just putting a lot of things, like a lot of productivity hacks. A lot of this stuff that I did last year is already done, praise God. And I feel like that was in preparation for things to come. So I'm now in a place where I can actually take a take, get my foot off of the gas pedal and relax a little bit. And it just, you know, it's helping me come up with topics for this podcast because now I don't have, like 50 things that's pulling me.
Edna Harding [00:02:41]:
I just have a few things that are pulling me. And so I'm excited about these series. We're in season 12 right now, and the Lord has been so good and so faithful and just merciful. I, you know, talking to people that I met last year, even the year before, and just hearing what God has done in their lives is just a Beautiful thing to me. So if you are here, it's not an accident. The Lord has a word for you today. And so I just want to start up with a word of prayer. Father God, I just thank you, thank you for my brothers and sisters who are listening to this line.
Edna Harding [00:03:16]:
I thank you, Lord God, that this is your divine appeal to your people. That you will be the one to speak through me. That it's not my words, not my thoughts, but your will be done on earth in behalf of the saints. Lord, we love you, we honor you, bless your holy name in Jesus name. You know, today was just a relationship filled day. Okay. This morning I also had a call with one of my intercessors and it was just beautiful. It's just beautiful.
Edna Harding [00:03:45]:
If you guys don't have a family or community, you need to find one, preferably something locally, like within your city, within, you know, your area. Because there's something about meeting in person. But if you can't meet in person, do it digitally. Right now you have Zoom and all those things. And I know I, I'm not a big fan of Zoom, I'm not a big fan of these online meetings, but it's so, so necessary. Don't just go to church, like be part of the church, right? Go. And, and, and it doesn't. Church doesn't necessarily have to be a body of Christ within the church building, but more of like a group of people that are believers that are on this walk with you.
Edna Harding [00:04:27]:
Okay. So I don't know who needed to hear that, but apparently someone did. And so I guess this is this. It kind of ties into what we're going to talk about today. I'm going to talk about things to release if you want your business to grow. Okay, what things should you release if you want your business to grow? Because a lot of times we hold on to things that are no longer relevant to us. This kind of ties in well with our the seasons and discerning the times and understanding which weapon or which tool to use for a specific season. But this season I believe that the weapons he's giving us is very, very easy to do.
Edna Harding [00:05:15]:
Very, very simple to do. It's not something difficult. It's something that the Lord wants to do for you, but we have to allow him to do it by relinquishing control and getting rid of things that are no longer belonging in our particular season. Does that make sense? I want to give you guys just kind of like, just from my life, things that I've learned and how has impacted my business and my life because of this obedience. So I had to really let go of an idea that wasn't necessarily a bad idea. It wasn't simple. It wasn't that because it was unsuccessful, because I did see some fruits. However, it wasn't mine to carry anymore.
Edna Harding [00:06:06]:
And today I'm going to ask you a question that I want you to be real with yourself specifically for your. If you're looking at your business right now, what is something that you need to let go of in order for you to grow your business? Because one thing I found, and I think this is really going to help you, is that growth doesn't always come from adding something new. Boom. I'm preaching already. Gosh, my back hurts. Growth doesn't always come from adding something new, okay? Sometimes it comes from releasing what fits the previous season but no longer is relevant to this season. Okay? And I want to talk about letting go, because letting go is probably one of the hardest things you can do, especially if you are as passionate about something like I am. I'm the type of person, like, you have a friend for life.
Edna Harding [00:07:04]:
Like, it's one of those things, like, if you and I are. Become friends, like, rain or shine, doesn't matter if it's been years. I. We will talk as if like, nothing has passed, okay? That's who I am. I. I love hard. Father, in the name of Jesus, I just plead the blood of Jesus over my head. I command this headache to go right now.
Edna Harding [00:07:26]:
In Jesus name, in Jesus name. All right? So letting go is very hard because it's very comfortable for us, especially when the ideas work for us and bore fruit. Bore fruit for us. We tend to hold on to things that is so easy for us, if that makes sense, because we're used to it. But Scripture tells us a different framework, and it's found in John 15, where it says that the Father prunes fruitful branches so that they can bear more fruit. And a lot of times when you think of pruning, it means, like, breaking things off. Okay? Shedding things off. Like, things that are no longer going to help you bear fruit.
Edna Harding [00:08:11]:
He's shedding it off. And that's what the Lord wants us to do in this season. I truly believe that if we keep doing what everyone and their mamas are doing, because that's a trend, because of things that are going on around us, because that's what the next guru said, like, we will always be caught in that hamster cycle because the enemy systems doesn't allow God's people to win. It's just not. Why would you let your, your, your worst enemy win, Right? So don't think that because you're following the methods of the world, you're going to get the same outcome as the world because you're not going to win. And if you do win, I want you to ask yourself, is it because there's something in you that is exactly like them, that you are operating not on, of from the world, but of the world? Does that make sense? Like you are actually, like no one can see the difference in you because you're exactly the world with a label called Christian. Okay, and so today I want to talk about just an example for me when it came to my business and how I pretty much followed a lot of the, what the gurus say just because I had coaches and consultants that was telling me do certain things like for example, ebooks or live masterclasses with ads. Then you had high ticket programs and then you had low ticket courses, right? And in every season and every year there's something new that comes up or even in having an app, which I do have an app, I have all these things.
Edna Harding [00:09:43]:
And not to say that anything of these things were bad, but we become so like kind of following wherever the trends go, right? So we have to ask ourselves, are we being led or are we following? Okay, meaning are we being led by the spirit of God or are we following trends? Right, because those are two different things. And so I want to be clear though, that none of those things were wrong, but I was building based on what was popular at that time or what was the trend that they're saying that things are going in the future, not for, not what was being revealed to me at that time for that particular season. Sorry guys, I have to rest my back for a second because my back is. Okay, so here is, here is. Here's what I realized during that time was I was reacting instead of discerning. Okay? So I was like kind of seeing where it's going, kind of have an idea versus like, okay, God, what are you saying? I know you're telling me you're going this way, but then everyone's going this way. And I feel like going this way, this opposite way. I'm not going to see the fruits because everyone else is going this way, right? So you have a tug of war between your spirit and fl.
Edna Harding [00:11:06]:
Your, your inner man and your, and your flesh because you're like, which way do I go? How, where, how do I know if this is the way you want me to go? How, how do we know, right? Because it could get so confusing. And the way I had to really hone in as far as what to focus on was I had to slow down long enough for me to hear God clearly. Okay? And what God showed me wasn't like, you know, like something flashy. It wasn't anything like, oh, like, no, no, like aha moment. It wasn't urgent, there wasn't any pressure. And in fact, it didn't even match the level of noise or the, like just the. The output, Apple output. In fact, I know a lady who is an influencer on LinkedIn and she spends hours upon hours upon hours developing content, interacting with like a hundred some people just to stay on top of the algorithm.
Edna Harding [00:12:12]:
I don't know about you guys, but that sounds like a workhorse to me. That sounds. You're a slave, not a king, right? Not a son and daughter of the king. And so I had to really. Because that's what they tell you what to do, obviously. So one thing about me is I do. I'm not like, so religious that, okay, I. I'm not gonna listen to anything the world says.
Edna Harding [00:12:35]:
Like, of course I. I hear it, I bring it to God. I was like, okay, this is not sinning. Let me at least try this tactic out. And I've seen it time and time again where it's all about chasing the next, like, for example, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook. Then you had Pinterest and you had Etsy and you had like, Amazon, like so many different things, right? It never ends, it never stops. You just keep going, going, going, going, going. And.
Edna Harding [00:13:01]:
And what I realized was I was like, this is not. This is not going to work for me. I was like, this is too much. I don't want to keep going around the same hamster, okay? I was like, I don't. Yes, I am getting some fruits, but I want to enjoy my life. I want to rest, I want to relax a little bit and just chill for a minute. Because I have done a lot, I have accomplished a lot in a short amount of time. I mean, if I just made a list of all the things that the Lord has done through me, I'm like, wow, that must be you.
Edna Harding [00:13:37]:
But at the same time, the Lord's like, okay, well done. Now when is it. When are you going to go enjoy? You know, like, just look back and rest. And so for me, I'm believing for a sabbatical year. I'm believing for a year where I rest more versus work more. Because the past, I don't know, since 2014. The past 10 years, I've been working a lot, planting seeds, setting up systems, writing books. I mean, it's all good things.
Edna Harding [00:14:10]:
Like, I have, like, journals galore. So all the content you guys are seeing all comes from my journals. Like, this was from. What year was this? It's from 2000. And I don't know what this year is from. I don't know this year, but I have, like, right here. If you guys are wondering, where do I get all these content for my social media, for my, I don't know, my LinkedIn, my newsletters is all for my journals. These are just like five of them.
Edna Harding [00:14:34]:
And I have probably like 30. So I have been faithful and disciplined, seeking the Lord for wisdom, for content, for, I don't know, things to help me. And now, like, all I'm doing is sharing it with you, like the journey, sharing the lessons I've learned so that you don't have to spend 40 years in the wilderness. And all you gotta do is take 40 days, right? So, so I hope that's making sense. And so I'm so excited to kind of share what the Lord showed to me today to share with you. You know, what I, I do want to say is you have all these gurus and they're like, you know, you pay, you get what you pay for. For example, like, if you Pay, you know, $50,000, you'll get whatever, how much ROI and so forth and blah, blah, blah, blah. And in fact, thank you, Holy Spirit.
Edna Harding [00:15:24]:
You know, I, I, oh, gosh, I did something, again, not proud of this. I, you know, being a marketer, I got marketed on. So there is this foundation. It's called Vemma, by the way. Don't get it. Okay? It's a foundation. It's like some Korean foundation that you put on your skin and you, like, you, what do you call it? Rub it around. And as you rub it around, it's going to blend in with your skin.
Edna Harding [00:15:50]:
Anyway, it was oily, it was splotchy, didn't look again. And I was like, but he has so much testimonials. And then I was watching, like, on YouTube or something, and they were advertising how all you have to do is come up with testimonials and you get paid a lot. I'm like, oh, my gosh, those are fake. Those were paid testimonials. They weren't real. They were fake testimonials. I say, this is saying that everything that you're seeing in social media, in advertisements, they're not necessarily true.
Edna Harding [00:16:14]:
They're not Necessarily the real thing. A lot of them are counterfeit. And this is what's happening in the body of Christ right now, right? We are wondering why we're not getting results when we're falling for the counterfeit versus looking, asking God, okay, who have you sent to truly help me with my business? Who have you sent to truly work with me in my business? Who have you sent right to that displace to give advice for me on my business? Like, this is not like a guessing game. God is like, he wants you to be on target. Listen, he cares more about your success than you care about your success, okay? He takes your prosperity seriously. And the reason why is because you're a child of God. But this is what the problem is. So a lot of times, most of the gurus out there, they promise you an arm and a leg, like complete success, you know, million dollar days and so forth.
Edna Harding [00:17:11]:
I can't tell you how many times I've heard that. Not to say it doesn't exist, but what they don't talk about, they talk about the outcome, but they don't talk about the process. They talk about the prize, but they don't talk about the price. Am I preaching or am I preaching? Okay, in the scriptures it says from little to little and glory to glory. That means it doesn't happen like that, like an overnight process, even though we hear this a lot. But I want this to sink into your spirit, that it comes from day to day and glory to glory. Okay? It doesn't happen like this. It happens over time.
Edna Harding [00:17:51]:
Okay? This right here, what I'm sharing with you is something that a lot of coaches and consultants won't say, okay. They'll say, okay, pay me a lot of money and I'll fix it. Yes, I could. And that's the Holy Spirit. I could fix it. But that means I leave you dependent on me. And the Holy Spirit told me, stop giving them the fish and teach them how to fish, show them how to do it. But it's like, well, why am I going to pay you a lot of money if you're just going to show me how to do it versus do it for me.
Edna Harding [00:18:25]:
And I'm telling you the reason why you're paying for the money is because I'm literally paying. You're paying me to. So that you could do it yourself and you don't have to pay me in the long run. But you always say, well, time is money. Time is money. Time is money. Time is money. You're wasting time.
Edna Harding [00:18:42]:
You're wasting time. I Get that time is money. Okay, I get that. But what's going to happen when you have a job moment and you lose all your employees, lose all your resources, lose all your money, lose all you know, your things you built up and have to start over from scratch, what's going to happen then? If you are depending so much on external things and you're not self sufficient, meaning you're not sufficient on the ability God gave you because you don't have the wisdom to build the thing from scratch. If all hell breaks loose, how are you going to build the thing again? You see, I'm not thinking short term gain, I'm thinking long term. If I don't explain the process, if I don't walk you through this is why I am such, even though my business unlimited group mentoring program is a small group right now, this is why I love a vitamin program is because I literally show you what I do so you can do it for you that just in case anything happens to me, you could pick up everything that you've learned and apply and start do the same thing, the same program, the same blueprint over and over and over and over again regardless of what business it is. Okay, because the blueprint came from what? The Bible. Okay.
Edna Harding [00:19:59]:
So this is something that I'm really passionate about as you can tell because I see this time and time again. Believers are lazy. They want like quick like microwave type of solutions. Yes, I can give you solutions, but if you do not have the character and you don't have the foundation and the, and, and the, the, the heart posture to handle what you're asking for, you will lose it. Okay, but you're like, but I am ethical, I am this, I am that. Let me tell you my friends, if you grew up in an environment where all you had was lack, all you had was poverty, all you had was abuse, all you had was sabotage, whatever it is, disappointments. And you all of a sudden get success like overnight, you're not going to be able to handle it because you still haven't been healed and delivered from those areas. This is why I love about God is he doesn't like.
Edna Harding [00:20:52]:
It's kind of like giving a car to a baby. You're not going to give a car to a baby if the baby is not mature enough to handle the car. I know this is pretty like simple, straightforward, but this is really what's changed my mentality and my blueprint when it comes to helping entrepreneurs, especially Bible based, those who believe that the Bible, you know, has success secrets, I teach them what the Bible says and how to build a business according to his perfect plan. Now, I'm not just talking about relationship with the Lord. Obviously there's people talking about relationship with God. Somebody seeking first the kingdom, you know, praying in the spirit, worship, giving tithes and offerings. I'm talking bigger than that, okay? I'm gonna talk about surface level stuff. I'm talking about deep stuff, like operational stuff, like strategies from the Bible and how to grow your business utilizing the parables, okay? Utilizing the disciples and how they did it.
Edna Harding [00:21:47]:
Like how they spread the gospel all over the world. Like how Jesus taught got people from all walks of life. Okay? You have Matthew, who is a tax collector. You have Peter, who was a businessman. Then you have Judas Iscarius, who was a jealous zealot, and Luke, who was a doctor. All different personalities, but they were all effective in the gospel. You have Paul, you know, Saul, like, who was very. Sounds like he was very intelligent and intelligent man.
Edna Harding [00:22:17]:
Like all these different individuals, yet they were able to convert millions and millions of people with the same message, with the same gospel message, the salvation message. Why? Because it was simple. There was one offer. And then after the offer, there were the upsells, right? The different ways of growing in the Lord. But there was one offer in the beginning. And here's what a lot of people don't do. They tend to make things so difficult for their customers to work with it at their very first offer, that people are like, oh, gosh, this is too difficult, too hard, right? And that's even with me. I'm thinking right now, like, this is why, you know, show me what you got.
Edna Harding [00:23:01]:
I think it's hard for folks because they're like, this is not as simple as it needs to be. And so, like, I'm in the process of creating a mini course so that it's a simple win, so that upsell them to the group one, if that makes sense. But you have to really think when you're. Especially when you're struggling to grow your business and in sales, you have to ask yourself, okay, how can I give a simple solution like salvation? It's free. Just ask. Admit, believe, confess, Right? Commit, Sorry. Admit, believe, commit. And then you're saved.
Edna Harding [00:23:32]:
And then after that comes establish. It then becomes the hard work. So there has to be a way for people to easily work with you. But the point is you have all these different ways that the gurus are saying, but in the scriptures, it makes it pretty clear. Clear that how Jesus was able to convert all those folks, obviously you have the Spirit of God. But this, the offer, the message was simple, was very clear. First of all, there was clarity in the messaging. So that no matter who was speaking, regardless of their personality type, they're speaking the same message.
Edna Harding [00:24:04]:
But also it was a simple offer, very simple. Okay. And, and, but it wasn't happening overnight, right? Yes, things happen where masses were converted. But before that it was going after the one, then going after the few, the small groups, and then going after the many. That is how God worked. And that's how you should focus on your business, especially you small businesses. Okay. You can't be doing everything at once.
Edna Harding [00:24:36]:
And I understand there are some product based businesses where you have a lot of products. You know, I always say create packages, sell one package, keep it simple, shorten it, make it easy, make it, you know, make it, make it feasible. And they're not overwhelmed with all the different choices. Analysis by paralysis. You have to make it so simple that they are going to say yes. Right? And so what, what I want to say is this, that many business don't want to work, don't want to admit this, but this is the truth. That every idea that's supposed to die, that you keep alive is going to cost you more than you think. It's going to cost you your focus, it's going to cost you your clarity, it's going to cost you your peace, it's going to cost you your momentum.
Edna Harding [00:25:30]:
It's like wearing Saul's armor when you were anointed to fight like David. Right? So this is really a reality check. Like whenever you guys are watching this, I want you to ask yourself what part of my business, my model, my offer, my team, I don't care. Just go down the list your like, your expenses. What part of this is no longer relevant to this particular area of my life, to this particular season of business? Because businesses will also be in different seasons. Some people are in the rocket phase season, some people are in the paper airplane, some people in the commercial plane. Right? There's different seasons in business and it's important for you to apply the strategies that are relevant for your particular season in business. Right? So don't go for the gold, okay? Go for the God.
Edna Harding [00:26:21]:
Right? And I think I've said this time and time again, but this is not a cliche thing. This is truly how you're going to see movement in your business when you finally realize that you need to stop chasing. Okay? Stop chasing and start pacing. Pace with the spirit of the Lord, because that is where your freedom lies. All right? So let's see. Let's give it three examples on how to know. It's time to let go. The first thing you want to do is look at the fruit, not the effort.
Edna Harding [00:26:50]:
So, for example, you may be working hard, but if it's. If it. But it's. Is it producing peace? Is it producing provision? Is it producing progress? Right. Effort without fruit is information, not virtue. I'm gonna say it again. Effort without fruit is information, not virtue. Okay? So stop pretending to be something.
Edna Harding [00:27:14]:
Stop pretending that it's working. But, like, okay, this is done. I can't do this anymore, okay? Focus on where you're seeing fruits. So for me, for example, I'm seeing fruits in the podcast. Maybe not financially, but as far as reach. Oh, yeah, there's a lot of fruits there for LinkedIn. I can't tell you how many times I get messages on LinkedIn. Even though the algorithms kind of, like, dropped me a little bit.
Edna Harding [00:27:43]:
I get. If I could pull up all the messages that I've gotten on LinkedIn about how my post has really, like, encouraged them in their walk and. And helped them. My newsletter also have been getting fruits. Like, people have been responding to my newsletters. What else? My group, my business Unlimited group. I mean, they're just so grateful and they're seeing the. The progress and they're in their business and their life, most importantly, in their soul.
Edna Harding [00:28:09]:
Like, these are fruitful for me, okay? The things that are not fruitful are like the social media content on Instagram and Facebook, which is why I love the fact that I use a auto scheduler. So I use marquee. My assistant. So I come up with the content. My assistant creates the graphics and she posts it and schedules it, you know, on a marquee. But I outsource the stuff that are not relevant to me, okay? And focus on the things that are. That are being fruitful for me, okay? So look at the fruit, not the effort. Number two, notice where the grace is lifted.
Edna Harding [00:28:45]:
So if something now feels heavy, if it feels forced, or if it feels like it's constantly being resisted, we need to ask ourselves, is this opposition or is this redirection? Right? If you're feeling tense, if you're not seeing things change, and you know, there's a difference between perseverance and then denial, okay? We can't just keep persevere, persevere and persevere and expect a different result, when in reality, we just need to accept the fact that, hey, this ain't working. It's time to pivot, right? And the third thing is you want to ask who you're protecting. Because sometimes we hold onto ideas to protect our identity, our priorities, pride, and our past sacrifices. Like, I invested this much money on that. I. You know, I. I put 10 years into that. Or I remember, you know, my name is tied to that, or, you know, stuff like that.
Edna Harding [00:29:36]:
And so we hold on to it because of those reasons, but that's not a reason to hold on to. In fact, Jesus never told us to protect our identity. He told us to lose our life so we could find it. Oh, come on. Am I preaching or am I preaching? He didn't say, hey, protect your identity. Protect, you know, remember who you are. Well, I guess he kind of did say that. Wait, I don't know.
Edna Harding [00:29:58]:
You know what the funny thing, because you hear those songs like, remember who you are, you're the child of God and so forth, but. But what I love about that is he. He basically says, take up the cross and follow you. So in my mind, how I interpret it is like, okay, Jenny died. Like, my old. Like, who I am was died. I'm now a child of God, which means the old desires, everything. Who I was, the past, present, future, before I met Christ is now dead.
Edna Harding [00:30:26]:
Because now I have received Jesus Christ and I made him Lord and savior, and he's actually been the boss of my life. So we have to ask ourselves, the person that's walking, talking, living, breathing, doing the things today, is this the Jenny that's supposed to die, or is this a Jenny that is resurrected because Jesus Christ resurrected her. Her from the grave and divine name of Jesus? Come on. I am preaching to myself. This is so awesome. Okay, And. And so if you could just get that. If you could just get that in your heart and be like, okay, all right.
Edna Harding [00:31:01]:
Okay, this is not working. That was a dead self. I need to, like. I need to stop everything I know, come fresh with a clean slate and be like, okay, God, whatever you want. It's a yes for me. Okay. All right. And number.
Edna Harding [00:31:15]:
Oh, that's it. Okay, so think of your business. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Think of your business like a gard. If you never pull weeds because they used to look promising, eventually they choke the harvest. Okay, so what you're doing is you have to pull the weeds so that you could cultivate a better harvest. Does that make sense? You don't want to. What's that word? Like, crowd out your fruits because you have stuff in there that doesn't belong.
Edna Harding [00:31:42]:
Okay. If you want to be fruitful, let it go. So here's the Question that I have for you today, what are you holding on to that God has already released? Because the idea that you're afraid to let go, okay, might be the very thing standing in the way from your next level of growth. Obedience isn't loud. In fact, it is not loud at all. A lot of times it is silent. And it happens in hidden places. Like, people will know.
Edna Harding [00:32:12]:
You say, yes, but God does. God does, and that's really all that matters. A lot of times what you see on social media is you see, like, yeah, I did this, and I got this reward. I did this and I got this reward. Like, like, it was just like, I did this and I got this, I got that. I got $5 million. I got this car, I got this mansion, I got this, this and this. And reality is like, Why? Like, why? Why do we need that? Like, why do we need man made applause or man made approval? Right? Listen, I don't have it all together, but I can tell you that over the past year and a half or so, like, I stopped looking at those successes as trophies.
Edna Harding [00:33:00]:
Does that make sense? But I look them as scars. You're like, what? I know. I don't look at successes as trophies anymore. I look at them as scars. Because a lot of those things that I've accomplished and, you know, the awards and just. Just the. Gosh, the many projects that. That the Lord has used me to complete, I realize that all of those had a price to it.
Edna Harding [00:33:31]:
There were scars that, like, part of me had to be beat up and die for that project because my flesh was, like, fighting me the whole entire time I was building those things that God told me to build because it was, like, one of, like, my journey. And I'm just going to be real with y'. All. He would say, okay, build this. Okay, after that's done, build this. After that sun, build this. After the sun, that's. Build this.
Edna Harding [00:33:56]:
And I just kept building, building, building. And I'm like, okay, well, I'm not able to, like, fully focus on this building and this building and this building to see the fruits of it, of it all. I mean, I'm just, like, being. I feel like I'm being spread on my tooth, but I'm flowing with the pace of grace. I'm flowing with the Lord Jesus Christ. And I don't know how it's all going to work out, but I do know that I hear his voice, and if he's telling me, build this, go to this thing, build that, go to this thing, build that, go to this thing. Like, there's a reason for it. And I just have to trust him that when it's time, I will know why that's the case.
Edna Harding [00:34:32]:
And I believe it's because he's a God of order and he does not want me to be stressed out. He wants me to have wealth without sorrow. And that has to do with having systems in place so that I could handle the increase. Does that make sense? All right. All right, friends. Well, I think that's all for today. Edna Harding [00:35:36]:
And I know that if you're here for the journey, you are going to love your life, because I can tell you that living a life fully surrendered to Jesus Christ and just being expecting great things through the hands of the Holy Spirit and the power that he gives you is just gonna make you feel like you're on cloud nine. And even though, yes, I'm not gonna lie, things will still, you know, challenge you and make you question, you know, if you hear God. But overall, it's a beautiful journey. And you're just gonna smile from ear to ear because there's nothing, nothing in this world can satisfy. I was talking with a client. I'm going to end with this the other day, and he was telling me how. How ever since, you know, he focused on God and he said, it's just like he's, like, high. He's, like, so high in the spirit.
Edna Harding [00:36:27]:
He's just so happy and he's so much joy. And he was like, I was trying to fix this, this and this and this, all these external things, but that never fixed me. What really helped me have my peace and my joy and my power back was just fixing the inside, you know, the internal self, like the forgiveness part and the repentance part and the surrender part. And then things began to change. So I hope that Bless you. And until next time, my friends, keep shining. Know that you are loved by an everlasting God. Take care.
Edna Harding [00:36:59]:
