I'm Sangram Vajre. I've built two $200M+ companies, written three books on go-to-market, and designed a GTM operating system that over 3,000 companies operate on today. If I've learned anything, it's this: go-to-market is the business. Keep it simple, and it scales.
This is Go-To-Market Made Simple. Every episode, you're getting a backstage pass to three things I work on daily: the closed-room conversations I have with CEOs and founders working through real GTM challenges, the systems and frameworks I've built and tested over the last two decades, and the weekly mastermind sessions with our certified partners where we see what's actually working across thousands of companies and industries.
Go-to-market doesn't have to be hard. We're here to make it simple.

Sangram here. Well, you have heard me say that over 1,000 times on this feed, and I'm here to tell you that this is gonna be one of the most exciting relaunches of the podcast so let's tell the story first, and then I'm gonna tell you what this podcast is gonna be all about moving forward
11 years ago, I was on a flight right in the middle seat coming back from a conference, and I was sitting between two drunk people. And these people could not stop talking, and there was no Wi-Fi, by the way. So I was just sitting there trying to figure out how do I make myself sane in the middle of these two people.
So I literally took a napkin and, and just started to draw the traditional funnel, which is broad at the top, narrow at the bottom. And then out of pure boredom or frustration or curiosity, whatever it is, I flipped it, and I started to create this new levers. What if, what if the funnel was upside down?
What if the way we looked at the funnel was wrong from the very beginning? What if everything that we knew about sales and marketing was upside down? So I flipped it and started to come up with completely new stages of the funnel, if you will. And, and that became Flip My Funnel.
And 100,000 of you have been listening to this podcast, been part of the community, which literally created the ABM category We did roadshows, we did events, an annual event that ran from city to city. We have written two books on all this, and this whole podcast, a thousand episodes on what it is, nuts and bolts, questions, answers, all of it was done right here on this podcast.
And this feed is testament to all the learnings that we have had in an industry that people say is worth more than a billion dollars because of what this podcast has done. But then here's what happened. I actually exited Terminus. Terminus was the company that sponsored it and actually helped us fund it and all that stuff.
And as a co-founder, as I was getting out of Terminus and we had a great exit, as a matter of fact, we exited twice, and therefore I just said, "Well, my job is done. ABM is there. ABM is B2B. FlipMyFunnel, the job of FlipMyFunnel to build a community and everything in it, the category is done." But guess what happened then?
I wrote a third book with Bryan Brown, uh, and he and I wrote the book called MOVE, which is the four-question go-to-market framework book that became a Wall Street Journal bestseller.
So that gave us a incredible inbound of conversations, which led us to start a company called GTM Partners. So Bryan and I started GTM Partners, reinvented the idea of go-to-market using this, this framework called the go-to-market operating system. Again, did the same playbook, if you will. We did roadshows in different cities,
now we have a massive community. Over 100,000 people read our research on RunOnGTMOS.com. And we were rethinking and reimagining, like, well, what should we go back and call the podcast? And the podcast at that time, we renamed it therefore to MOVE, which made sense because that was the book we launched, and we continued to do a bunch of different podcasts.
So FlipMyFunnel became MOVE, and the feed still remained the same, inspiring go-to-market leaders in marketing, sales, entrepreneurs to think about B2B and the business of marketing, sales, and go-to-market in a way that drives their business forward. after that, almost five years, to make a long story more longer, We launched a YouTube channel just recently, and it has been growing really well. w- I'm recording this, we already have 200 plus episodes, 5,000 subscribers. I'm sure whenever you're listening to this, it might be a lot more than that. And that's making us think like, well, how do we bring that understanding, that level of thousand podcast mentality back into the podcast?
Because podcasts really was the thing that worked, that built the whole movement, that changed and built the entire category. So that is what is bringing me today. We are bringing the feed back to life again and starting now, just now, this show is gonna be Go-To-Market Made Simple, which means everything we're gonna talking about on this show is gonna be about go-to-market.
It's gonna bring in ABM and marketing and sales and all things go-to-market into this existing feed that's already been there. Because go-to-market shouldn't be complicated. It shouldn't be where only people talk about marketing or sales, or talk about very specific go-to-market motions or a specific stage.
Go-to-market is the business. We believe if every company can understand how to think about go-to-market strategically, they can thrive, they can build. As a matter of fact, we have done tons of episodes on the YouTube where we said, well, product is no longer the moat. And if product is no longer the moat and everybody can build a product, then what is the moat?
And we believe one of the greatest moats that every business can have is go-to-market. Because think about it, if your business is all about the product, somebody can just go ahead and copy it and build another product that is maybe cheaper, better, faster. But your go-to-market, how you go to market, your specific go-to-market and brand story, well, that's unique to you.
So that's what we are gonna try to decipher on this channel. We're gonna try to make the most complicated things that people talk about and make it simple because why? That's how we think about it. So right now, coming back feels like coming home. You know, FlipMyFunnel where I found my voice.
and that led to writing books, creating a movement, building a category, but none of it was planned.
But this time around I want to do this for real in a big way because I feel the movement is even bigger than ABM. The MOVE book literally launched the system, and the system became go-to-market, operating system. And now we want to just make go-to-market simple every single day.
So that's what we're gonna do. And these are conversations that I'm not just having with people. I'm doing CEO roundtables. I'm doing founder live hackathons. I'm going to events like Unbound, and speaking at it. We're doing research where, again, 100,000 people read our research on runongtmos.com.
I'm gonna bring all those concepts, all those conversations, even closed room conversations, into this, where I'm gonna speak directly to you and share exactly what's happening in the world of go-to-market and how you can make it simple. So starting today, new episodes are gonna be dropping every single day, Monday through Friday. So welcome back if you were in FlipMyFunnel or listening to MOVE, now you're gonna be listening to Go-To-Market Made Simple.
My goal each and every day is gonna be finding everything that's happening in the world of go-to-market and bring it directly to you from the way I understand how the world of business works. So if you're ready, let's get moving.
