✨ Abundance. Alignment. Action.
It’s time to live more and earn more - with ease.
I didn't start my business to hustle 24 7
and be pushing and striving, but somehow
along the way I found myself in a position
where I was chasing these big goals.
I was pushing, I was striving.
I was running a big team.
And I didn't enjoy it.
I felt like I was trapped.
I felt claustrophobic.
I remember in the pandemic feeling
claustrophobic, and I thought it
was because I was feeling kind of
claustrophobic in London in the
location I was living, and I realized.
That it wasn't that I realized that
my soul, my identity was seeking
something bigger, something different,
and I was ignoring the whispers.
I was ignoring the the murmurs,
and I was instead just focused
on chasing that hustle or chasing
that next big thing because that's
what I thought you should do.
And if you are feeling like
that this video is for you.
Because I realized that I had left
behind the nine to five I'd left behind
and my job wasn't really nine to five.
My job was, I was working as a journalist
and I was working probably 16 hour
days, and I was working crazy hours.
It was very intense, but it was fueled
by purpose, by passion, and I loved
what I was doing until I was burned out.
And I knew that I couldn't
do that with having my son.
I had to do something different.
And so I chose my business for
flexibility so that I could be there
for my son so that I had the freedom
to, to be there if he was sick.
I had the opportunity to travel more in a
way that worked for me and I. Switch that
this for kind of feeling chained to the
business where I wasn't being creative, I
wasn't doing the things that I love to do.
I was instead marking other people's
homework and I was allowing them to be
creative, paying them to be creative.
And then I was just sort of managing
that process rather than it being me
that was being creative and at the
forefront of something that I built.
And so if you are feeling like you are
in this position where you want more
sort of autonomy and freedom, but you
feel like you've instead signed up
for something else that doesn't feel
like freedom, this video is for you.
the first thing that really happened is.
I had to get really honest with myself,
really honest about what I wanted, what
I didn't want, and in that realization
I mentioned about feeling sort of
claustrophobic living in London.
And so we moved to the Cotswolds,
where I'm actually originally from.
And I thought that in this kind
of open space, the freedom,
the fields I would get.
Get that freedom and flexibility that
I was looking for, and I realized
that while certainly changing location
helped, and I love living here,
but I realized that number one, I felt
claustrophobic in my relationship,
but also I wanted to change the
way I was running my business.
And so that meant.
I let go of some team members and
you know, that's always a difficult
conversation to let people go.
Um, but I'm really glad I did
it because it enabled me to go
back to being a solopreneur and
go back to actually running a
business in a way that I want to.
So it means that I can have
the freedom to be there for
my son in the school holidays.
I can travel when I want.
I have that flexibility and I don't need
to kind of answer to other people or
schedule meetings, all of those things.
Like we don't do meetings.
I'll leave a Loom video if I'm
giving feedback to someone and
I don't need to have that same
level of contact and communication
in a way that I don't want to.
So it means that the meetings that I do
have, like the collaborative and fun,
rather than it being like, oh, we need
to have our 10:00 AM meeting every day.
And in that spaciousness that I've
created, rather than feeling like
I've, I've got to, you know, pay these
wages every month, I've got to like
deliver all of these extra costs.
It means that I have that
freedom where I can say.
Okay, it's the summer holidays.
I'm not gonna work in the same way, or
I feel like going swimming to the lake.
It's a really nice afternoon.
I'll go to the lake.
And I don't have that kind
of feeling of guilt and
responsibility that I had before.
And so that freedom, that
spaciousness is really important.
I've also realized that I need less.
I don't, all of these goals, the
shoulds and the, I don't need that.
I moved from a, a really
lovely large house in London.
I live in a tiny cottage, and my
my expenditure is so much less.
I live a simpler life.
I don't need all of these
things like you think you need.
To sort of live a certain life
and have these certain clothes.
I don't want all of that stuff.
I don't want stuff in the way
that I perhaps chased stuff
previously, and I've never really
been particularly materialistic.
But still, there's things that you can,
like, you can get caught up in things,
and I don't need to do that anymore.
My life is much, much simpler, but
I'm much happier in the process.
So in this process I stopped
doing the big launches.
So I don't do a 10 day launch.
I, and just, I keep things much simpler.
So while the revenue is less,
it's also a simpler process.
I'm much happier, but because it's
less stressful, I do it more often.
So it's easier because I make it simple.
I make it streamlined, and so, you
don't have to overcomplicate things and
make them into some big fancy hoo-ha.
It can be just making it a
simple, streamlined process means
you are more likely to do it.
So I keep my emails simple and fun.
I'll rewrite my emails.
I schedule those emails, and
rather than it being like.
Some crazy big launch and I, you know, the
launches I'd have before, I'd write them
and then somebody else would put them into
active campaign and then I'd have to check
them and then they wouldn't be right.
'cause they'd like, and rather now I write
them, I write them in active campaign.
And it's just like one process.
And before it took three times
as long, it involved three people
and the outcome was the same.
And so I much prefer this way of working.
I also have really automated a lot
of like the boring stuff, the admin,
I use chat PT to help me with a
lot of those kind of processes to,
to really pinpoint where can I.
Improve, where can I get smarter
and learn those steps in order to
improve this and streamline what I do?
So I don't want to be like
spending hours on a process where.
I could do it much simpler and quicker.
So I try and use ChatGPT in that way.
So I'm still being creative 'cause I
realize that I need to be creative.
For me, that makes me feel good.
So I need to be creative,
making videos, writing emails.
I love that.
So I don't wanna lose that, but I can.
Certainly find ways to get smarter,
leaner, cleverer, and so that's how
I'm using ChatGPT to really streamline
the business as much as possible and
learning new things all the time, changing
the way that I work so that it works
more effectively and more efficiently.
E. And I realized that when you
make it simple, when you, you don't
have to always overcomplicate things
when you create an evergreen system
that is a really simple system.
Things flow much easier for you.
It just works more effectively
rather than it being stressful.
And so for me, I sell my
digital products, my courses,
my membership, and I sell those.
And that flow, that energetic flow
works , rather than overcomplicating
and hustling and stressing.
And when you put you into the business,
like you really focus on like.
Putting your energy you into the
business, the business will flow better.
You are more in alignment.
You feel better, it feels more exciting,
and just more you, and when you focus
on that, your vision, your purpose, that
it just, it just works more effectively.
And it's not in that kind of like
management speak effectively.
It's, it just, it's in alignment.
It flows.
And your clients feel your
energy, they feel your ease.
And when you are reverberating in
a good space, they're gonna pick
up on that and wanna be connected
with you and part of you and the
way that you operate and show up.
And so.
If you are feeling like out of
alignment, that's gonna show up.
So allow yourself the space to
rest and journal and feel better so
that you can come back to it with
oomph and passionate excitement and
everything will flow from there.
So this is your permission slip
to step out of the hustle mode
and create a life that you love.
If you want to create something
that really works for you.
I've got my visualization
meditation below, which , is
all about creating abundance.
And my vision board workshop that
will help you to create that dream
life that you want to create.
Once you've got that inkling of that
dream, that goal, that desire that you
have, everything can flow from that
because once you've got your vision and
you are working in alignment with that,
the business will feel so much better
and you'll step out of that hustle
mode and into something that feels
just softer, gentler, and just nicer.
And more fun to be around
and you are going to, things
are gonna get easier for you.
