So, I am perplexed by the fact that we have a two-party system, right?

We have, for the most part, a two party system, and in that two party system.

And there's no like entry fee to join a political party.

They ask for donations, but you don't have to give and like.

You don't even have to have, like, pass a test.

There's definitely like a mission statement to the Republican Party, and every year they publish one on the National Committee's website.

Each state has their own state committees, which make up the National Committee.

And then each, obviously, each county makes up the state committees and each, each, each city in each, like in the city of Olean, for example, we have so many wards.

Each ward has three seats.

Each seat sits on the city committee, but it also sits on the county committee.

There's a whole bunch of little things to it.

It always perplexes me when I'm out going getting petition signatures this time of year.

There's a lot of people who are like, I don't vote for Republicans.

I'm like, you're a registered Republican.

And it's like, yeah, well, it's because I haven't changed it or I didn't do whatever.

So my thought is always like, shouldn't there be a test?

Like, shouldn't you, kind of like when you become a US citizen, when you weren't, like a descendant of US citizens.

Like if you come to this country and you get naturalized, you have to like take a vow and swear allegiance to this country.

Like, I think like if you're going to say like, this is the party that I want to be a part of, I should swear allegiance to those values.

Like I get that sometimes like values and opinions and thoughts can change, but if you're going to pick one, like swear allegiance to it.

And if it changes, then it changes and you switch parties or you disavow yourself from a party.

I don't think you should just willy-nilly be able to just join somebody's party because you want to or you feel that way.
