100xLife Podcast

Rob Dayton sits down with Misha Osborne, a 100xLife Coach and current Challenger, to talk about what happens when the words of Jesus stop being “nice ideas” and start rewiring your real life. Misha is a pharmacist who lived through the front lines of the pandemic, and she shares what shifted when fear stopped running the room. From “let your light shine” in the chaos, to seeing spiritual battles behind anxiety and depression, to learning how to actually hear the Trinity in daily life through journaling, this episode is a gut check and an invitation.

Misha also unpacks a surprising byproduct of bringing the Challenge into her local church: deeper relationships, real stories, and people actually seeing each other beyond Sunday small talk. If your faith has been mostly evenings and Sundays, this one will poke you in the ribs in the best way.

You’ll hear:
  • Why “bloom where you’re planted” is not a consolation prize, it’s a calling
  • What people noticed about Misha during the pandemic, and why it mattered
  • How bringing the Challenge into a church builds real community fast
  • What changed when she learned to journal with the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit
  • How near-death stories and a clearer picture of heaven fuels endurance now
  • Why coaches need feedback, not crickets, and how you can strengthen your channel
  • Why becoming a coach is the fastest way to stay in the fight
Journal Prompt
Where am I waiting for a “bigger calling” instead of obeying Jesus where I am planted?

Rob Dayton (00:00) Welcome to the 100X Life Podcast, where we activate people who desire to live the words of Jesus and experience the abundant life He promises. I'm your host, Rob Dayton, and I hope this podcast inspires you to put in the work of following Jesus. Rob Dayton (00:37) 100XLivers, welcome back to the podcast. I have a very special guest. Misha Osborne is here with us in the house. And as you know, we have been doing the last three podcasts are on people who are actually in the challenge. Misha is not just in the challenge, but she's also a 100XLive coach. So we want to talk to her about that because If you're on the challenge, we are almost done. We are landing the plane. I think it's this week. I think this week will be done. Man, what a what a heavy lift for many of us. And we want to get into that. Misha, welcome to the podcast. You're finally here. Misha Osborne (01:17) Finally made it Rob! It finally worked out! So here I am. Rob Dayton (01:22) I love it. Well, tell us a little bit about yourself. know you're in Pismo Beach, which I'm very fond of the San Luis Obispo area, but just tell us about yourself so that everyone understands kind of where you're coming from. Misha Osborne (01:33) Sure. Yes, I currently live in Rio Grande. I've been here 21 years. My day job is a pharmacist. I like to say I'm a legal drug dealer. So ⁓ that plays a lot into what goes on in my world. But I currently have my niece living with me. But other than that, I've been here by myself. Rob Dayton (01:44) Ha Nice, nice. That's cool. then you're I think you're at Pismo. Is it new life? Misha Osborne (02:00) Yes, I'm with Tom Lebbens and the New Life Crew and he's doing an amazing job. I can't say that I'm co-coaching with him, but I like to chime in and get going on that channel as well. So. Rob Dayton (02:14) I'm actually on that channel too, and I'm watching you and I think you're co-coaching. He may not be as frequent as him, but tell us that story because you were partners with him and this is kind of the 100X Life church. And Tom was, he kind of gave birth to this. And I got to say, would say that the expansion of 100X Life, which I'd love to hear your heart for this, but my heart is that. Misha Osborne (02:18) Ha! she did. Rob Dayton (02:40) The church in particular would fall in love with the commands of Christ, the words of Jesus, and they would really drive hard to put them into practice. That's what 100X life, Jesus's 100X life process is all about. And so when Tom suggested he wanted to take it to the church and then our team, primarily Jenna D set it up so you could actually have a church little web landing page for 100X life and really kind of white label it into the church. Tell us that story as you saw it and what you saw that was insightful. Misha Osborne (03:14) Well, it's kind of funny because I didn't know Tom, even though he's a prominent greeter and all that kind of stuff. I didn't know him from New Life. And he had got on the coaches channel and said, hey, I to take this to my church. What do you think? Pray for me. And I'm like, great, I'll pray for you. So a couple of days later, I asked him, where's he from? What church does he go to? Did that go well? It turns out it's the same church I go to. So. I. Rob Dayton (03:39) Love that. Misha Osborne (03:40) to partner with him and kind of go to the women's group and get the women's side of it because he was really involved in the men's side of it. we kind of tag teamed each other and he spearheaded it but I was right alongside him and it seems you know we've got a great group of people that are chiming in and learning lots and I've got to meet a lot more people in my church so I get to know them well. So it's been really neat to grow as a church. Rob Dayton (04:09) That you know, that's I hadn't even thought about that until you just mentioned it that not only is 100 X life kind of where my passion is, is trying to get people to exercise the words of Jesus, put them into practice. You're saying what you witnessed is that also you got connected with more people Tell us more about that. Like is that I mean, you weren't even aware that Tom was at your church like so. Misha Osborne (04:33) Exactly. Rob Dayton (04:34) Tell us about that connection and like this is a byproduct that's pretty cool for a church. Misha Osborne (04:39) It is kind of fun. And I guess I'm more of a Sunday morning, you know, type person and I would do my own Bible studies outside of the church and grow through, you know, the TMPX program and TMPW program and things like that. So I wasn't really rooted as well as I could have been in the church. So this was a way that I got to know a lot of the community. You know, now I see people, I'm like, hey, you're on. How's it going? know, it's so it's really kind of fun. Like I, of course, I knew Owen because of his lovely wife, Camille, swaggerly. And so, you know, it's just kind of fun to get to know these people deeper and outside of church. And so we've really enjoyed growing those, fostering those new relationships. Rob Dayton (05:15) Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. That's powerful. I love that. And what pastor doesn't want their church interacting a little bit more intentionally? And then I love it that you're seeing people on the challenge and the telegram channel. And then you're like, hey. And then that moment must be pretty encouraging when you tell us about those moments where you're you're seeing each other and know that you're like doing this workout thing all week. Misha Osborne (05:53) Well, I can't wait to see Jeffrey Enos, know, just hearing his, you know, I didn't know his in-depth story until just this last week. you know, it's really kind of a way to grow deeper. You know, I've seen some surfacey stuff in the channel and I'm so happy that you got him on. But, you know, now to know his whole backstory, it's just things like that that come out. It's really neat that it comes out quickly too. Rob Dayton (06:01) Wow. Hmm. Wow, you're giving me so many ideas. Wow. That's so cool. It's almost like, and when you say surfacey, don't. Misha Osborne (06:22) You Rob Dayton (06:28) It doesn't occur to me that you're being like he was shallow. You're just saying all I got to see of Jeff was a little bit of taste of who he is through his comments. And then he has an interview and then you're listening to his story and you're like, wow, that brings this person who's in, you know, next to you in the kingdom in this Sunday experience brings it to life about who he is. Is that is that how it felt? Misha Osborne (06:35) Yes, just a glimpse. Right. Yes, absolutely. And I'm sure there's a lot more stories like that as you go deeper through the challenge and the words. For example, I have my best friend in Denver doing this with us and she got really hit hard with Be Merciful. And so she's on a road trip this weekend to check on her family because they've kind of been estranged. And so it's just... Rob Dayton (07:11) Wow. Misha Osborne (07:19) different things that the book brings out, challenges people and really gives them something to share. And, I'm struggling with this, can you pray for me? So. Rob Dayton (07:22) Yeah. So good. Yeah, and I, you know, I... Not that I, not that I don't value my book, but it's like, it's just, it's just the words of Jesus that change our heart when we decide to put them into practice. It's so simple. Okay. Well, Jeff told us his story. How about the story of Misha? And I'm, I'm interested. I'm interested in, know, you're part of the master's program for women. did the TMP acts with Kathy Midyat who attends a grace church. And and then you did a 100xLife tell us your your growth process. How is Jesus been growing you up? What are some of the the high points of your transformation? Misha Osborne (08:13) Well, we'll start. In 2021 is when I got cooked into the TMPW program, the Masters for Women with Nadia. And my friend, our friend, Kathy Godfrey invited me to this meeting. And at first I'm like, what are you getting me into? I do not do catty women. Rob Dayton (08:31) What's a catty woman? I'm not sure I know that phrase. Misha Osborne (08:32) Just women that are, I guess, a more surfacey, ⁓ a little more not in depth, just kind of, guess, worldly would be the best way to describe it. And, you know, just kind of surface, look at me, I'm whatever. Rob Dayton (08:38) Yeah. you didn't want to be with women who they were posing and then they're just glossing over all the depth. You want to have some authentic conversation. Misha Osborne (09:00) Yes, I thought I was an extrovert, but I'm not. I'm an introvert. I want deep, don't get energized by the crowd. I want one-on-one. Let's get deep. Let's get to know each other. Rob Dayton (09:09) Hmm. Are you a relator in your top five? you have a relator or toward the top in your Gallup strengths? Okay, okay, that that that that's helpful. Okay, so I interrupted keep going. Misha Osborne (09:16) Yes, yes I do. That's okay. working through the pandemic was really hard on me. And so I needed a recharge because I didn't get to sit home for the six months. I got to see all the panic come at me daily. So it was tough. It was really getting back to learning how to, I don't want to say deal with people, but be the light. And I've had several people come through my pharmacy and say, it's different when you're here. There's something different about the pharmacy when you're here. And I really didn't put two and two together until I went through the master's program. It's like, ha! And I've had several people in my life come back and say, I see Jesus in you. You are one of the reasons why I've made this decision. So I'm not the link that gets them to the final. Rob Dayton (10:10) Wow. Misha Osborne (10:17) And I am being the words of Jesus most of the time. I can't say I'm perfect. But like you said in your podcast, people get curious. They kind of lean in, like, what is so special about this person? Or why is it different when they're there? So really... Rob Dayton (10:22) Wow. What are they noticing? Because let me frame that. So you're in the pandemic, you're a pharmacist, you're totally in the heat of things. People are coming, I'm trying to engage my imagination back to that moment. People are coming in, they're paranoid, the staff might be paranoid. You're dealing with all of it. And then what are people noticing about Misha? Have you put your finger on what it is? Is it joy? Is it just a different countenance? Misha Osborne (10:47) Ugh. think, I mean, honestly, the first four weeks after we really realized it was severe, I panicked as well. But then I'm like, what am I doing? Kind of like your cancer scare. God's got this, you know, if it's my time to go, it's my time to go. I know what I'm going to. So, you know, bring it on. Let's do this. And so I think it's that I didn't have the fear and the panic, even though Rob Dayton (11:30) Wow. Misha Osborne (11:31) They were coming at me. Everybody wanted alcohol or toilet paper or, you guys are going for the wrong things. You want to go to the wine aisle and. Rob Dayton (11:36) Right? Totally. mean, I'm raising my hand too. think my two bourbons in the evening were maybe a little stiffer than I'm honest about. Like, seriously. Misha Osborne (11:50) Exactly! You know, you gotta shower at home, forget the toilet paper, go for the good stuff. So, Rob Dayton (11:59) I love that. I love that the lack of fear. And I know what you're thinking, but like for me, the opposite of love is fear. And so, OK, yeah. And so if you are fearless in that moment, does that look like love? Misha Osborne (12:06) Absolutely. struggle at first to kind of put that behind you and see that you know okay to remind myself that they're just fearful you know it's okay they're just feel fearful you need to love on them you need to be patient and so I I started to try to change my my appearance to joy Rob Dayton (12:15) Hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Misha Osborne (12:36) you know, and just be joyful because there was so much heaviness around us and I've been told, you know, let your light shine. That's the word that probably resonates with me most in this challenge is let your light shine. it was a tough time, but it was a good growing experience. So. Rob Dayton (12:36) Mmm. Come on. And it's, I love that you're saying that, you, said this earlier is that you're not necessarily the person who invites someone to pray the prayer of Jesus, but the, but your role is powerful to prepare someone else for that moment by being this light, this fearless light in this tumultuous time. And I like to say, I like to point out to, to us Jesus followers who have Trinity on board that it's we have a strong advantage over people who don't and then we treat them like they should be just like us but they're they're actually handicapped in a way they're like it's a it's a disability not to have the Trinity on board so their fear is going to be amplified surprise surprise and then I love that you're adjusting your attitude your behaviors based on that reality They're just full of fear and I can treat them as though they're just full of fear and maybe I have some light to offer them that would get them a little bit moving towards love and out of that fear. Is that what it felt like? Misha Osborne (14:02) Absolutely. And I was challenged because I got to go with the TMPW sisters to Italy and I met a missionary named Jess Garcia there. And so she got to anoint me and it was powerful because she explained to me and I kind of knew it, you know, like this present darkness you get to they write about the spiritual realm and the heaviness and the demons and I never Rob Dayton (14:09) Wow. Mm-hmm. Misha Osborne (14:29) think about seeing the spiritual realm and she opened my eyes to, know, that there's a lot of heaviness and darkness and if I want to be the light then I can also break those strongholds and pray for people that have depression meds, pray for people that have anxiety medications. And so I started looking at the pharmacy through that lens and this is just only in the past four months because we went to Italy last October. Rob Dayton (14:36) Wow. Hmm. Wow. Mm-hmm. Wow Misha Osborne (15:00) And so just really focusing on, okay, I can help this person, even though I don't know this person very well. I know that they're struggling with something here. And so I pray for them and it may not be with them. And I even tell them a lot of times, I'll pray for you. And I try to see how that's received, you know? But whether it's received or not. Rob Dayton (15:14) Mm-hmm. Yes, right. Misha Osborne (15:23) I know that I can, that's what I can do for them. So. Rob Dayton (15:26) Wow. That's really cool. And I'm looking at some scripture, just, want to, cause a lot of people don't know, or they may not know anointing what that is. And actually I'm not finding it, but Paul will say, and he said it in a couple of different places that in his letters, he's talking to the people who the church that the letters named after and he's like, I'm hoping to visit you to impart some kind of gift to you. And there was a constant, this was very common in the early church before it was called Christianity. It was called the Way where people who had higher authority and obedience had maybe another way of saying that is a stronger anointing on them would actually pray for other people to receive. Anointing or to transfer some sort of gift. This is what Paul was talking about I've experienced that in the room with Randy Clark Nancy and I both have and so What you're saying is that this person had a strong anointing presence in a certain area perhaps the Holy Spirit Manifestation that was unique to her and then She prayed for you and then you felt this awakening of, hey, there is this in the heavenlies, there is this layer of evil that is also against us. Is that how you would describe it? And then what does that do for you? How does that transform the way you see people? Misha Osborne (16:50) Yes, that's exactly how I'd describe it. it does for me is, you I always thought, OK, I'm going to go through TMPW, the Master's program, and then I'm going to find my life calling and I'm going to go out and save the world. you know, and what I'm learning and what I got downloaded this morning was bloom where you're planted. You can be a light. You can be service to others. right now, right where you are. You don't have to go to some third world country or, to show Jesus. You can do it in your everyday, all, you know, at work, at home, on the beach, and just do it right where you are. You don't have to wait for that next calling or, and you might get called, you might be, you know, do water missions like you and Nancy do. Rob Dayton (17:22) Right? you Misha Osborne (17:40) that that might be in my future but for right now I can do what I need to do right here in Pismo Beach. Rob Dayton (17:48) That's so cool. so you felt, with this anointing, you felt the power of that role, that it enhanced the power of seeing yourself as this person who's, who's blooming in place is that, that, is that part of the story? Misha Osborne (18:02) Yes, and what I can do for someone right where I'm at. And prayer is powerful, we all know that. But, you know, a lot of times I think it's just me talking to God and asking Him, okay, when is this gonna happen? Versus really digging deep and praying for others. And okay, Jesus, I know this person's struggling based on this medication. I don't know the circumstances, but just break those strongholds. Rob Dayton (18:06) Wow. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Misha Osborne (18:29) Be with them, encourage them, give them a friend, give them, if it's me, give me the opportunity to speak into them. But obviously they need you, Jesus, so. Rob Dayton (18:42) Yeah, I love that you're saying speak into them. It probably, mean, the way you're occurring to me is for the pre-Christian, I'm just going to be a love bomb. I'm a light on a hill. I'm going to be intoxicating with my joy and the presence of fear. And then for these people who are where we'd call are in the Ecclesia, the body of Christ, I'm going to speak into them. I, you know, it's interesting because today, this morning that we're recording this podcast is the interview with Nadia about faith in God. And we get into the fig tree and Jesus is not praying to the father about the fig tree. Jesus is commanding the fig tree based on his authority and his anointing. I'm curious if you were to go back to that moment in your mind where this woman, Jess in Italy is praying over you. Would you say she's talking to God or she's mainly proclaiming something over you? Misha Osborne (19:37) I think she was opening my eyes to the spiritual realm because as a missionary, know, they she felt like she was attacked frequently and could see that in in herself and in other people because they were in places where you know that they weren't not wanted and doing things that Darside doesn't want them to do. And so she said that she's really learned how to navigate that. And so when we got talking and we got paired up to to anoint one another, that's what she shared with me and which really opened my eyes as far as, there is a lot of darkness out there. Yes, I've seen it through the pandemic. How do I combat that? How do I get through that? What do I need to do? I'm even tearing up here. ⁓ Rob Dayton (20:04) Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah, I mean, it was an emotional moment for you. Misha Osborne (20:30) See you! yes, absolutely, so I love her. She helped me, just helped me see that I don't, I can do what I need to do at work in my life currently as is. Rob Dayton (20:43) Yeah. Yeah. And that is such a good word because that's where we grow from there radically when we do well where God's place is right now and not necessarily chase some other role, but we just do really well with the words of Jesus that we've been processing together as group. And I'm still curious about her prayer. So she gave you some wise counsel and she kind of opened your eyes. And then what was her prayer over you like? How would you describe it? Misha Osborne (21:16) I can't even remember half the stuff she says because I was just so in the moment and so caught up and so just She just speaks deep into my soul and It just reminds me of what we're living for and what where we're headed next which is kind of what you talked about this week is Knowing where we're going in heaven and knowing what that's like Rob Dayton (21:18) Yeah. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Hmm. Hmm. Misha Osborne (21:42) And I did a deep dive during the master's program when we and getting trying to learn about more about heaven and the book, Randy Alcorn, heaven was it's phenomenal, but it's deep. It is so heavy. So I found one that I want to share with your reader with your podcast. ⁓ Imagine heaven. If you have not got this book, it is. Rob Dayton (21:42) Mm-hmm. please. Okay. Misha Osborne (22:08) amazing. It's all about near-death experiences. It's by John Burke, if you're listening and you're not seeing the picture I'm showing here. But it's all people that have had near-death experiences, Christians or not, and what heaven is like. And so if you're like me, who's a learner and Rob Dayton (22:10) Okay, I'm putting it on my list. Okay. Misha Osborne (22:33) a visual learner at that, it really gives you the concept of what heaven looks like. And then he does a second book, Imagine the God of Heaven by John Burke. And it talks all about people that maybe have a Hindu background or a Buddhist background that go and actually meet the God of Light. And so it's really cool. Rob Dayton (22:49) Interesting. Wow. Misha Osborne (22:58) It goes deep into some sciency things, which I enjoy being from the science background, that how, and to learn it, how these people could not have, like they come back and tell the doctors in the room what was going on in the room when they left their body to go to be with God or Jesus to see heaven and come back and there's no way possible. Rob Dayton (23:04) and a learner. Misha Osborne (23:25) that they had a sheet over their head, they had things in their ears, or they were dead to the world. There was no way possible that they could have known what was going on. One of them could tell you where a shoe is outside of the hospital on the third floor, exactly the left shoe and exactly where it was, and the nurse went up and found that shoe outside the hospital. They talked about how Rob Dayton (23:47) Wow. Misha Osborne (23:50) there was a fan in the room, there was a sticker on the top side of the fan wing and they made them crawl up and look at the fan wing to show, to prove that this was real. And so it's, it's such a great, it's an easy read. It's very, I couldn't put it down, but it shows you what heaven's gonna be like. And so when you know where you're going, it's a lot easier to. Rob Dayton (24:07) Mm-hmm. Misha Osborne (24:17) kind of endure some of the challenges here. Rob Dayton (24:20) It's so good because I think one of the most challenging things that I do as a teacher of people who want to really grow in their faith is that they, for them to carry out a heavenly mindset and an eternal mindset. In other words, living life. Not like my end is when I die, but living life like this is eternity now. I've moved into eternity right now. And then what I do in this short period of time is influencing the rest of my millions of years. And therefore, you're. You're really investing hard. faith is spelled R-I-S-K. You're risking, you're leveraging everything for this life for then And if we carried an eternal mindset, I think that that would really give us the ability to do things much differently. Kind of what you're saying. So, so powerful. Okay. So imagine heaven. Misha Osborne (25:03) Yes. Rob Dayton (25:19) I purchased the book while you were talking. So I'm going to check that out. And that's really cool because because that's what I want. I want I want a deeper heavenly mindset and eternal mindset that I want that. And we have to as as people who are followers of Jesus, if we're going to die for people, you know, metaphorically, get on a cross or deny ourselves, having that eternal mindset is going to really help us move into that. Misha Osborne (25:23) It's amazing. Rob Dayton (25:45) as something that will benefit us, not something that we're sacrificing. OK, very, very cool. And then I just want to I just want to tap into your moment there to explain it just based on what I've seen before. You said this Jess was praying over you in Italy and you were experiencing, you know, you're you're in tears and with just tears of joy or tears of peace or tears of what? Misha Osborne (26:09) Cool. I think it was tears of being seen. Like really, really, she really got and understood where I was. I'm gonna try to come here again. And so just being seen, being heard, being known, like she got it. Rob Dayton (26:14) Wow. Yeah. Yeah, that's so cool. so, so what, in my experience, what happens when Holy Spirit, so I would call that kind of a, we're going to be talking about this coming up here. I forget what day, but it is be clothed with power. Misha Osborne (26:45) you Rob Dayton (26:45) And it's the, it's the overflow of Holy Spirit. So hear me, hear me correctly listeners is that Misha has Holy Spirit in her already. That's not the issue, but it's this fountain of Holy Spirit coming out and manifesting the word the Bible uses upon her. there's Holy Spirit is in her and, and, and then baptism is Misha Osborne (26:54) It's. Rob Dayton (27:09) Of the Holy Spirit, not of John, not of water, but of, of Holy Spirit and fire, as John the Baptist quoted about Jesus is that we're this welling of Holy Spirit. And then I have noticed so many different manifestations. So let me give you some, some people feel electricity is really common. heat, they feel heat. they get tears and then they're tears and all these energies. also can experience great joy. I've been in a situation where I was, felt the baptism of the Holy spirit upon me and I just could not stop laughing for a long period of time. And I was, I did want to stop laughing. I'm telling you, I wanted to stop because it was beginning to hurt me and the transformation that came from those moments. You're, you're saying tears. what happened in that transaction and that, that Holy spirit baptism is that you felt seen not just by Jess, I would, I would suggest to you, but you felt seen by God and understood and loved. just that perfect design of Misha and who you are. And then what does that do? Because what I've noticed is for me in those situations, there's this great longevity. Even as you describe it, you're tearing up because you're reliving it. This moment is in your brain, right? It's in your brain. And then you relive it and you're Misha Osborne (28:29) It's a- Rob Dayton (28:34) Wow, that is so good. That is so good. Is this making sense to you? this feel like what happened to you? Misha Osborne (28:42) Absolutely, And I think with the challenge, which has really helped me, is the journaling. I've never been a journaler. And so really learning to listen and get quiet and hear those moments from God, it takes practice. But I mean, even the first time I did it, I was like, wow, this is really kind of cool. And so it's getting easier. Rob Dayton (28:50) Mm-hmm. Misha Osborne (29:07) As I progress, this is my third challenge. I would say this has probably been my toughest challenge as far as part of my strength is being responsible and an achiever are in my top five. And I've been sick. I've had things thrown at me that that I couldn't do the challenge perfectly this time. You know, not that I did it perfectly the other two, but I definitely felt like I checked more boxes on the other two. But I really held tight to, I'm gonna sit down and journal every day. That's really what I need. I've had health issues, I've had injuries that wouldn't allow me to do the workouts. But I'm like, okay, that's okay, we're gonna work out the mind and work out getting the time with Jesus. And so just having that experience with... journaling has really opened my eyes to what the Holy Spirit was saying. They talk to it like you tell us. They talk to us all the time. They don't shout because they're sitting right next to me. So they're not shouting at me. So I have to get quiet in order to hear them. But that I think has been part of the greatest part of this journey with the not only. learning the 55 words of Jesus, because if you would ask me before we started, I would have said 10, like the 10 but just hearing from Jesus, from Papa, from the Holy Spirit, depending on the day and the situation. So. Rob Dayton (30:28) Mmm. Wow. I can, the way you're occurring to me is like, it's just deep. It's, really important to you. It's something that you're cherishing that's the invitation it really, really makes me, I just delight in what you're saying because the 100xLife challenge was about the words of Jesus. And then Rob had to sneak in a little bit extra in, in something that I know is true. I know at least in coaching guys is that so many of us feel like we, we don't report that we hear God very often, not to mention one member of the Trinity in that. And so to have this. this rubric of, I want you to really try this out, really work on, hey, just, you know, start the sentence, Misha, this is the Father And then here's what I'm saying to you. It forces you to do what I would report is you can already do. You can already hear God. You're actually designed. Your body is designed to hear and commune with God. so just getting that that spigot flowing a bit. Misha Osborne (31:34) you Rob Dayton (31:43) How would you say for you that's translated into all day hearing? Has that made a difference? Misha Osborne (31:49) Oh my goodness. So yes, absolutely. I would say that I would talk to God here and there, but usually it was at night. Now because of our going to bed and replaying the day and talking to God and thanking him and all that, I wake up talking to God. I talk to God all day long now. It is amazing. Like, good morning. And like I said, today I got to download Bloom Where You're Planned. Rob Dayton (32:08) Yes! Right? Misha Osborne (32:17) I think as you go to sleep with that in your brain, that you just start waking up. And now that I've incorporated him into my work life and praying for people at work, that I just all day long have started cultivating this relationship with God that I used to be in the evenings and on Sunday mornings, you know, type deal. And the journaling, like if you aren't a journaler, like I wasn't. Rob has really good suggestions in the back in the appendix of the book, so go look there. But I find that even if I'm having struggling or struggle with the journaling, I just rewrite the question or what I want to answer. Hey, Jesus, show me what you want me to know about this. And then the pen starts writing. And so I've used the same journal for the last three challenges. Now, the first one didn't have very much in it. Rob Dayton (32:57) Come on. Misha Osborne (33:10) But the last two, then, I don't read what I wrote before and I write again, and then I go back and I read and a lot of times they're very similar. So it's pretty neat. Rob Dayton (33:20) Yeah, he tends to say the thing again and again until we really receive it. You know, what you're saying is so powerful, because if you have that, if you really tap into this constant flow of speaking, what I notice is that his speaking always is laced with heavy doses of love. And acceptance. And approval. Misha Osborne (33:43) Always. Rob Dayton (33:44) and approval. And it's those three things that get us into trouble in life dealing with other people. We're seeking love, acceptance and approval from others. And when we don't get it, we judge them. We say to ourselves, this is how you should be. Usually that should is really more about us than them. So if you're saying they should turn that around and say I should and you'll probably be more truthfully right. So Misha Osborne (34:05) Thank Sure. Rob Dayton (34:13) to get away from that judgment of others, to stifle the stories we're telling ourselves about, man, why doesn't that person love me, accept me, or approve of me? We get our wellspring of love, acceptance, and approval from the Trinity, and then we don't need it from others. Does this resonate with you at all? Misha Osborne (34:34) Absolutely. And that's how you know, like you've said before, that's how you know it's Jesus or God or the Trinity, is that it's laced with love. It's never condemning, it's never judging, it's always laced with love. And that's how you know for sure that that came from Papa God. If you're still learning and figuring that out, that's how you know. Rob Dayton (34:56) That's so beautiful. so thankful for your story, Misha. It's just it's so encouraging to me. I get so encouraged at just this. This is what I want. I want transformation. I want people to be hooked up with the Trinity. And it's just so exciting to hear. OK, so we're almost at the end of the challenge. You mentioned 100xLife Church. We talked about Misha Osborne (35:07) You Rob Dayton (35:21) What would you say to someone who's finishing the challenge and this is their first time, you've been through it three times, come on. What would you say, like what's your wise counsel for people who are finishing the challenge? Because we don't wanna leave these words of Jesus behind. It is a daily practice. What would he suggest? Misha Osborne (35:28) Sorry. suggestions. The first one is a lot of people are quiet throughout the challenge. I know we encourage them to check in weekly, but that doesn't always happen. So I would challenge everybody, no matter where you are in the challenge, on and tell one thing that you've really learned or really hit home or what you got most out of this challenge because your coaches, they really wanna know because a lot of times there's crickets, there's days when there's nothing on the on the telegraph, no one's talking. And they're like, is anybody out there? Bueller, Bueller, you know? So I would just, even if you've never chimed in, just chime in once and say, hey, it can be a text, it can be a video, can be whatever, but we really just wanna know that you're out there and that you're... Rob Dayton (36:12) one's talking. Misha Osborne (36:32) you learned something from this. And even if it was just the first week, you made it through the first week and you've, you know, don't have the rest of the words of Jesus gone through yet, no problem. Just tell us something that, you know, that encouraged you or that you got out of it. So, and then tell your country's thank you because they put a lot into you know, lot of angst comes behind it sometimes like, my gosh, nobody's responding. But, I know they're out. I know you're all out there. I know you're doing it. It's just a matter of, but tell them thank you. Cause they, they would love to hear from you. And then your second one is become a coach. You've done it. You succeeded. You did it. Become a coach. It's amazing. It really holds your feet to the fire. So if you. Rob Dayton (36:54) Yes. Wow. Yes! Misha Osborne (37:16) Don't think you did great on that thing. Become a coach because you will, at least if you have responsibility in your top five like me, it really kind of cements it that you're gonna stick to the 62 days. Do your own challenge. It doesn't have to be on January 1st. ⁓ I'm considering doing another one starting April 6th, which is the day after Easter, but I only wanna do two words a week. Rob Dayton (37:33) Mmm. Wow. Misha Osborne (37:42) and really focus on those two words. So Monday word, Thursday word, and then I'm gonna have a cheat day or a free day or a free meal and do that for weeks, I think it is. yeah, but it's a way to go a little bit deeper into each one and really kind of grasp it. So I'm welcome to anybody who wants to. Rob Dayton (37:42) wow. Yeah, it's a little longer. Mmm. Misha Osborne (38:06) to join up with me and do that. I'm happy to coach that. But if, you know, get a group together. I have a friend in Denver that we, she and I are just doing it one-on-one. I mean, I did it as part of this challenge, but you know, just buddy up with somebody if you don't wanna do a big thing. It's growth oriented and learning the words of Jesus are amazing. Rob Dayton (38:26) you Misha Osborne (38:29) Watch The Chosen, you get to see him visually. If you're a visual learner like me, you get to see some of these things in action in Jesus's day. recommend becoming a coach and doing a challenge even if you're not doing it on January 1st or Rob Dayton (38:45) I love that. And, there's only one requirement for being a coach. And that's that you've been through the challenge before. And then, I want to hear what you would say is, is like the protocols of a coach. But what I note is kind of what you're saying is a lot of times you're hearing crickets on your channel and the coach's responsibility is just to show up every day, say what's going on in their life. You, you, you, you're a 100xLife coach, not because you're perfect. But because you're on Jesus narrow road and you want to stay on the narrow road and you want to bring people with you on that narrow road, that is the only reason to become a 100xLife coach selfishly. I want to do this again and again and again and again, because I want to be a master. I want to be a master of the words of Jesus. And we have that capability. We we only need to focus to understand and to put his words in practice and. practice hope and faith in those situations that you like for you that have grown so much. Does that sound like what your role was as a 100xLife coach just to show up and encourage on that channel? Misha Osborne (39:53) Yes, so I did the coaching, we did a June challenge, June and July, which is kind of hard through vacations and all that kind of stuff. but I like that it has the long hours, which are the long daylight hours, I should say. that's why I want to start in April 6, because you have those long daylight hours to get that exercise in outside. So I really, I encourage you if you want to do an N1 coming up, I would recommend April, May, maybe June. Rob Dayton (40:01) Summer. Mm-hmm. Misha Osborne (40:21) to get those daylight hours, to get people before they go on vacation. You know, you can kind of get inspired for summer. But I also wanted to encourage the cohorts or the listeners to check out the TMPW programs, the master or TMP programs, whether it's the masters for men, masters for women, or the accelerated version, they kind of take this whole. life journey a step deeper and Rob can get you in contact with any of those people. So it's been really fun. I've been been through the women's program with Nadia. I'm currently a table coach with Kathy Middiot's accelerated program here in Rio Grande. And it's just good. Rob does all the little videos so you get to see him again and again and again. But it's Rob Dayton (41:12) Not sure that's a benefit. Misha Osborne (41:16) but it just really is a way to kind of grow your faith, grow your life so that when you go to retire, you're gonna refire rather than retire. And Rob Dayton (41:29) that. I love that. and so being becoming a 100x life coach, and then I'll get to the master's program. We're making it so easy because the team and Jenna primarily what she's done is she has made this so it's plug and play. So you can actually I don't think you can do it today, but you will be able to do it in the next couple weeks. You can actually sign up as 100x life coach and then select the day you want to begin. and it will all automate for your people. So the whole thing will be automated for you as a coach. You don't have to be here in January 2nd. The automation will happen for you. And you've given me a new idea for me to challenge Jenna Dee which is what if they chose an iteration? What if they chose an iteration? Like I'm going to do one word a week or in your case, I'm going to be two words a week. Misha Osborne (42:13) Sorry Jenna! Rob Dayton (42:25) I think that we can adjust that automation. I'll find out. Hopefully I didn't get her in trouble by suggesting we do that. But we want to just make this easy. We want to position you to be a leader. And what I mean by a leader is becoming an influence of other people. And that influence becomes a contagion. Misha Osborne (42:30) You Rob Dayton (42:47) for the kingdom is let's live the words of Jesus. That is the foundation of the kingdom. And I think Misha from your story, what I notice is when you the way I would describe it, in other words, is you put the oxygen mask on for you, for your life, for where you're at as a pharmacist in the crazy. Not, not, not paying attention to anything else. I'm just going to be a light and I'm going to these words of Jesus, I'm going to, they're going to propel me when I put them into practice to be a light. And I can do that in place. then from that vantage point, from that rock of, of, being able to choose the same circumstances that are negative in this world. The light becomes more available in other areas, but it's the put your oxygen mask on first and get that that superpower of Jesus flowing inside you in a way that really is transformative right here right now before we start looking over the fence at other areas. Does that sound right? Does that sound like a good summary about what happened to you? Misha Osborne (43:52) Absolutely. And I also wanted to say that you're not alone at being a coach. There's a coaches channel. there's something you come across, something that you're just unsure of or want a little guidance with, you can jump on that coaches channel and ask questions. So you're not alone. You don't have to feel like you're going at this alone. If you're like, what if somebody comes and has some Rob Dayton (43:57) Right. Misha Osborne (44:12) Meet your life event. It's okay. We can help you through it. Not a problem. just here to encourage and get you on the words of Jesus. Rob Dayton (44:22) So good. Thank you so much, Misha. Sounds like the team is expanding. We're all part of it. Turns out the followers of Jesus on the narrow path want more people to follow on the narrow path. So good. Misha, thank you so much. I really appreciated this conversation. It was a long time coming and really appreciate it. So thank you. And to our listeners, hang in there. Just I think it's one more week. Misha Osborne (44:26) Go! Rob Dayton (44:46) forget which day we're on, but we're very, close to the end. And then the celebration and reflection upon that and then the next steps are really important. So think about that, be praying about that, what that looks like for you. And we will see you next week. Yay. Misha Osborne (44:48) So close. Thanks, Rob.
