Good morning, Daily Peppers, and a very happy Wednesday to you. So today I have a question for you and it is this. If you were magically given fifteen minutes a day extra, what would you do with it? Now around here, we talk a lot about getting shit done. So you might be thinking that today's episode is all about just getting the fucker done and finding that twenty minutes in which to do it. But it's not. So don't worry. I'm not gonna try and make you do something you don't wanna do or you're resisting. But I do want you to think for a second about what you would do with that time.

I want you to imagine that it is guilt free, remembering that twenty minutes doesn't feel like a lot of time. But if you think about sitting through a sitcom you really don't like or if, like me, you struggle to meditate, twenty minutes can actually be quite a long chunk of time. And I want you to think about what you would like to do with that time. Is there anything that you wish you had more time for? Is there anything that feels really indulgent? Or is there something that you really wanna do that somehow just ends up on the bottom of your list? By now, you've probably thought of at least one thing. So when we tend to talk about time, we tend to think about what we don't have. We tend to think about how much we wish we had more of it, and we tend to think about all the things we have to do and how on earth we're gonna do them. And like I alluded to earlier, we also tend to be at the very bottom of our own list. So my challenge for you for the rest of this week is this.

See where you can find that twenty minutes and see if you can give yourself permission to do that thing. Now I know all of us have wildly different context and circumstances. We have varying levels of control over our times. We have varying levels of responsibilities. But if you got creative and if you got curious, I'm pretty sure you can find at least one twenty minute chunk before the end of the week that you would love to do if someone magically gave you twenty minutes? Remember, it doesn't have to be the perfect twenty minutes, and it doesn't have to be something that you have to commit to on a regular basis. I just want you to take it as an experiment and as a bit of a quest. Can you find twenty minutes for yourself this week, and can you use them for yourself? So that is the one thing that I want you to look out for as you go around your day to day. Where could you squeeze that twenty minutes in? Is there maybe a habit that you wanna stop doing more of that you can do a bit less of? Is there a cheeky window where you can squeeze it in? It might be uncomfortable.

It might involve asking somebody to do something for you or asking for help. And if twenty minutes is absolutely impossible, see if you can aim for just three. Get curious, get creative, and know that you are worthy of your own time.
