Genecia Alluora: Hello gorgeous, and welcome to today's episode. I'm Genecia Alluora, the author of two bestselling books, make it Happen and Personal branding Secrets. Genecia Alluora: Today I want to talk about the 21 lessons from launching Soul Rich Woman doing our membership programs, and I would love to share them with you. Now, here are some of the biggest lessons from our biggest launch ever. Number one. Life happens, so get prepared. Life always happened during the month we launch Soul Rich Woman .We have lots of stuff going. It's really terrible because, like, the internet was down, the software not working, there was break in the campaigns that we're doing. It's really helpful to do at least some stuff in advance, because, let's face it, life doesn't stop just because you are launching your business or launching a podcast. Don't leave everything to the last minute.

Genecia Alluora: Number two, get support. Now, you don't really have to do. It all by yourself. And I'm telling myself this constantly, okay? Whether it's your podcast or your book. Or your business, whether it's a product based business or a service based business. I want to tell you this, outsource as much as possible because it will multiply your output. It will 10X or 100 times the output. Really? So you can get people from Fiber or E-Lans if you don't have a big budget because there's so much moving pieces to launch a business, a podcast or everything or otherwise go check out instanttribeleader.com. Help you to build your systems and process in your business, the templates that you can use to literally outsource everything that you are doing.

Genecia Alluora: The step by step marketing plan to help you and your assistant to tackle your to do list easily. Okay? So go check that out. Instant tribe Leader. Number three sales pages take forever. Now, when you build a sales page to launch either your business, your podcast, your products, or your services, sometimes it will take ten times, a hundred times longer than you would think. Because the image is not correct, the colors, it's not what you want. The font size, the mobile view versus the desktop view. OMG.

Genecia Alluora: So even with an existing sales page, making tweaks can take so much longer than you think. So many times I thought to myself every day, everything, I could just do it in a day. Like a sales page, right? But good sales page can take hours and hours of your time. So do it early and take some time to sometimes take a breather off and away from yourself sales page so that you can come back with a different perspective and continue working on them. So never do it last minute. Number four, email cannot be your only marketing channel. Now don't assume that everyone reads your emails and honestly deliverability over the years, since I started going online, since 2013 has gone down, down, down because of stronger spam filters, promotional folders and email fatigue. So therefore, you have to promote on all your marketing channels from your podcast, your Facebook, to your LinkedIn, to your Instagram, to your TikTok, to your emails, to Facebook ads, wherever. I just heard that someone big did launch, but I had no idea. I only follow her on Instagram and I never saw her mention it once.

Genecia Alluora: So imagine that you're telling people I'm launching and nobody even know that you are launching. So therefore it is important that email can't be your only marketing channel. And also people are often decluttering their inbox and even their FB feeds with apps. So I personally don't use Facebook on my desktop as much. I only use the Groups and the Pages app more because that's where I function the most, in my Soul Rich Woman Facebook group and our Pages a lot more. So I rarely see marketing on Facebook, so imagine that. And I've also unsubscribed from many, many newsletters. So you need to really sit down and draw out my map and ask yourself where are your fishes? And be creative about it. Genecia Alluora: Number five, spell stuff out for your customers. You see, people don't always read too closely and this is very true even for us who launch Sou Rich Woman. People don't even know what is it, it's not obvious to them. And even when I was launching the Make It Happen Micro podcast, which is just five minutes a day, I can tell you we have so much problems with people who just don't read at all, even though we have provided step by step instructions like arrows pointing here, arrows pointing there, to tell them the really obvious stuff. So you need to tell your customers like click here, or this is where you sign up, or this is where you record your audio for the Make It Happen Micro podcast and click here to submit on the same page. Sometimes, no matter how many times you say it, you still get emails or WhatsApp asking is this going to be recorded or how am I going to record? Or when are we going to schedule for the interview of recording that micro podcast when actually everything is done automated. All you need to do is just fill up the form for the Make It Happen micro podcast show and record on the form itself. Just submit a voice note or voice recording of three to five minutes. Recording using a phone. You don't need a fancy microphone.

Genecia Alluora: Oh my God. People are just busy. They don't read at all. Number six, pretty doesn't necessarily sell. Now, a lot of my people will always say, oh, I need a fancy website. I must look very chill, chill means this is like a way that we express like, oh, so gorgeous, so amazing. To be frank, don't try and get too cute with design in your materials and logo. No problem. But honestly, sales page can be really simple. Don't let your Buy now button or sign up now button get lost in the crowd of beautiful images. Number seven track your conversions. Now, it's easy to think that nobody wants to buy my stuff. Now if you don't understand that 1% to 2% of people will buy over time, the statistics will play out. Unless you are doing more high touch selling, then yes, you can convert higher.

Genecia Alluora: Number eight, book in self care. Take care of yourself. Have self love during launches, you'll launch a new business, you'll launch a new platform. Or like me, I launch Make it Happen. You know what? Self care often goes out of the window. I am guilty of that. And this launch, I give myself massages. I go to my massage lady and she gives me a good massage 30 minutes, twice a week I get myself out there because when I'm busy in launching, my body heats up. Okay, how do I say this? It's like a car heating up, the engine heats up and if I don't take care of myself, the chances of me falling sick and during my launch, it's really very high.

Genecia Alluora: So really it's important to put them together and put yourself together so that you can care for yourself while building and launching your business, your platform. Either you're selling your products or your services. All right? It's super important. Remember to get some meals in, get massive supply of water, drink a lot of water and take whatever vitamins that you need to keep well and stay on track. Number nine track and celebrate every success. I literally mean that every success. Now, it's true that most of the sales come right at the end. So it's easy to get discouraged, get excited about every single sale and that someone has believed in you and you can help them transform their lives.

Genecia Alluora: Number ten, deadlines, bonuses and incentives work. You really need to build up your datelines and your bonuses and incentives because it's not being too silly. People are just like to sit on the fence. We don't know why. And humans need scarcity and deadlines to motivate them. So get it done. So I've just shared part one of these lessons on launching and make your business profitable because I've done it myself. And I will say that in the part two, I will continue to share with you my lessons learned so that you can be aware even before you begin your journey.
