Scott Schutte:

As you listen to this passage, reflect on the ways you can trust God with your worries, surrendering them to his care and provision. So don't worry about these things saying, what will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear? These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly father already knows all your needs.

Scott Schutte:

Seek the kingdom of God above everything else righteously, and he will give you everything you need. So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today. Matthew six thirty one through 34. How can you choose to surrender your worries to God and trust that he will provide for your needs?

Scott Schutte:

Worry is something we all face. It's easy to become consumed with the questions of what if and how will this work out. In Matthew six, Jesus reminds us that worrying about tomorrow only steals from today's peace. Instead of being consumed with anxiety, he calls us to trust that our heavenly father already knows our needs. Take a moment to reflect on your own worries.

Scott Schutte:

What is weighing on your heart today? Is there something you're anxious about? Whether it's finances, relationships, work, your future. Acknowledge that worry is natural, but it doesn't have to dominate your life. Imagine standing in a beautiful wide open field.

Scott Schutte:

The sun beginning to set in the distance. The air is calm and you can feel the gentle breeze against your skin. In your hands, you hold a heavy sack filled with all the worries and burdens you've been carrying. Things you've been anxious about. Things you feel you must control.

Scott Schutte:

Jesus stands before you with his hands extended, inviting you to lay down the sack and trust him with all that you carry. With a deep breath, you gently place the sack at his feet. As you do, you feel the weight of your worries lighten. You are no longer carrying them alone. Jesus smiles at you, offering peace in exchange for your burden.

Scott Schutte:

The setting sun reflects his love and care as you feel an overwhelming sense of calm fill your heart. The worries that once felt like mountains now seem small in the presence of his grace. As you look ahead, you see the road forward is clear. Jesus walks beside you and you trust that he will guide you each step of the way, leading you into peace and provision. Right now, take a deep breath.

Scott Schutte:

As you exhale, imagine releasing your worries into the hands of God. Trust that he knows your needs and is working in your life even when the path ahead seems unclear. God isn't distant or unaware of your struggles. He is a good father who provides for his children. His peace surpasses all understanding and he invites you to rest in that peace today.

Scott Schutte:

Commit to seeking God's kingdom first, trusting that when you prioritize him, he will take care of all of the other details. Let go of the worries that are consuming your thoughts. Surrender them to God knowing he is faithful to provide. As you go about this week, may you release your worries to God, trusting that he will provide for every need. May his peace fill your heart and mind, and may you seek his kingdom above all else, knowing that he is faithful to guide you and meet all your needs.
