Now, you already know that the Midheaven is my favorite placement to work with when it comes to business astrology. But in this episode, I wanna break down exactly how you can use it to become the go-to expert in your niche. So whether you are a coach, a consultant, or an online service provider, we're gonna be talking about exactly how you can use your Midheaven to stand out and go from being one of many to being one of one in your industry.

Now more than ever, it's so important to invest in your expertise. And while so many business owners are scrambling because they have spent all their time and energy focused on getting their business foundations right, it's actually your expertise is going to help set you and your online business apart.

And the thing is, this goes way deeper than just leaning on your knowledge or your expertise or even your job title, and that's where a lot of online service providers are feeling stuck.

They've built their expertise thus far based on pretty basic business foundations, things that every single business owner is going to have. Things like what your job title is, whether you're a coach, a consultant, or an online service provider. Whether you help clients to make more money or find their purpose. Or even, the specific structure of your signature offer, if you have one: whether it's a course, a one-on-one program, or a group program of some kind.

Now, I've talked about the business foundations previously on the podcast. But the thing with the business foundations is that every single business is going to have them. And so it's actually not something that you should be relying on in order to stand out in the noise that is the online business space. Instead, these should be the foundations to solidify your expertise and to help your clients know that you are the person that is best suited to support them in the particular way that they want to be supported.

And this is why becoming a go-to expert in your niche and industry is so important. The reality is the online business space is going to continue to change. And if you want to stand out, especially when you're dealing with so many unknown factors like AI, like new platforms, like the changing landscape, that is the evolving business space and how clients, customers are buying differently... all of this means that your expertise needs to be solidified even more so than it was before, because that's how you're going to stand out.

So when you're at this particular crossroads, it often looks like you have your business foundation solidified. You have your offer. You know where it is that you're marketing. And you are actually selling. It's not that you're struggling to, you know, make those first moves, but you've already done so and built the solid foundation for your business to thrive.

But the challenge comes in feeling like, okay, I'm doing all the things, but it's still not working. This is where the key of leaning on your expertise to become the go-to expert in your niche is the most potent to lean into.

And when you're at the stage, it's really important to grow your expertise by leaning on something called your unique brilliance. And in fact, that's the key that's really going to shift things for you at this stage.

The reason why it feels like nothing is working is because your unique brilliance is actually missing from the equation altogether.

So what exactly is your unique brilliance? This is my term for how you are specifically personalizing your expertise. This is the thing that's going to help you go from being just one of many people in your niche or your industry, and instead becoming that one of one go-to person that they're thinking of when it comes to your niche or your industry.

It's how you stand out amongst the sea of other people who are doing similar or the same work as you in the industry. And it's how you do it without having to knock down what other people are doing or to burn down your business altogether and start from scratch.

Your unique brilliance is how you lean into your magic, your gifts, your strengths, your specific ideas and perspective and way that you see the solution for solving the problems that you help your clients with. Your unique brilliance is how your expertise is going to help change the direction of your business and help you go from being overlooked and unseen to actually being the go-to person that can book out your business.

Your unique brilliance is so important because this is the thing that's going to be the tipping point in your business. It's going to help you take your business foundations and transform them to match the level of expertise that you actually have in the stage of business that you're actually in.

So if you're not sure what your unique brilliance actually is, there are a few ways that you can solidify it. And you'd be surprised, it's probably something that you've been overlooking this whole time that you can better pay attention to and infuse into your business foundations.

The first thing that I want you to do is to zoom out completely from your business, to take a step back from the everyday and from the things that you are in the weeds with, and instead look at your unique brilliance as something that is infused in all areas. It's going to be this overlooked nugget that is going to make everything come together in your business.

There are a few questions that you can consider when it comes to figuring out what your unique brilliance actually is. The first one being, what are the challenges that you've overcome?

So I firmly believe that the best solutions come from personal experience. And so your business up until this point has been built from exactly that.

It's been built from your experiences, your perspective, the things that you have overcome. And from a very simplified Standpoint, your business is really going to be the roadmap of how you have overcome a specific problem and making it a little bit easier for your clients to do the same thing.

So you wanna think about what are the challenges that you've overcome? These can be the direct challenges that you help your clients with, or these can be the challenges that are the most prominent in your personal story of how you became a business owner. Which actually leads into another question that could be quite helpful for you with uncovering your unique brilliance, which is what is your story? What has led you to become a business owner in the first place?

You'd be surprised at what you can uncover just by going back to your story and seeing what are the most prominent things that stick out from that?

This is exactly what I used to help me uncover my unique Brilliance and how I use it specifically in my work as a business astrology consultant. So I went from being just like a general business astrologer and also a general business coach that yes, had a very solidified niche. But was more so like stuck on how to specifically bring together both business strategy and business astrology.

So when I look back at my own story, the biggest challenge that really stood out to me was in one being in a very particular stage of business. I wasn't at the beginning stages. I already knew exactly how to build, how to grow, how to scale a business. But it was that specific challenge of bringing together both my personal astrology and also how to evolve it and simplify it to fit my specific business.

So being able to lean into my story actually helped me to build my work as a business astrology consultant. So working directly with online service providers because I was one. I have been one for the majority of my career in the online business space, and also that I know how to use astrology as a framework to solidify and help my clients to evolve their business to better fit exactly where they're at and where they want to go; which is not about how to get started, but it's more so about how to make your business feel more aligned to who you actually are and to match the stage of business and expertise and ultimately life that you want to be living at this point.

All of that was inspired by looking at what motivated me to get started with my own work and also what the challenges were that I was overcoming, that are the most prominent for me. So looking at just these two questions can really help you to uncover what your unique brilliance is and the specific way that you bring together your niche, your expertise, your gifts within the online business space and how they can come together in a way that's completely yours versus echoing something that other people are already doing or seeing or experiencing by similar service providers.

Another question that you may wanna consider when it comes to uncovering your unique brilliance are, what are the common outcomes that your clients achieve? So maybe you have a particular experience that you've been doing within your business, but your clients have a whole different interpretation or experience with your framework, with your process, with your offers and solutions.

So leaning more into that, into what are the commonalities of what your clients are actually experiencing can really help you with solidifying what your unique brilliance is.

An example of how this looked in my business was in offering my first offers as a business astrologer, which were readings, right? That really helps me to solidify my unique brilliance as well, because I started to notice patterns in readings: in the type of clients that were booking readings, what their questions were in, the specific areas of the chart that I was working a lot with when it came to interpreting and helping my clients to strategize using the specific parts of their birth chart in order to grow and scale their business.

All of that was really valuable data that helped me to solidify what my niche is, where I wanted to really specify as a business astrologer, and it helped me to evolve into a business astrology consultant. Because I was able to get really clear on, okay, I'm not focusing on astrology as a whole. I'm really doing my best work by focusing on these particular areas.

And so for you, this may require you to go back and review past client calls, sales calls that you've even had, questions that you're getting on your social media content that pertain to your expertise. All of this is really valuable information of what your clients are directly telling you as indirect or direct feedback of how they are experiencing your work. And so, that's a really big sign of what your unique brilliance could be if it's not already clear.

And then the final question that you can consider when it comes to figuring out what your unique brilliance is, are one of the things that inspire you outside of your niche and outside of business?

This is really important, because in creating a business that is built centrally around your unique brilliance, it requires you to infuse more of you into the process. And so that really makes it important to create space to explore your own creativity in many different forms.

Now, this isn't me saying that you need to monetize, your hobbies or things that you're doing for your personal enjoyment outside of business, but you'd be surprised at what this can inspire; what can blossom just from stepping away from consuming so much within your industry and looking outside of that.

It requires you to consider your own ideas. It requires you to spend time in your own mind versus sitting in the echo of what other people are doing and consuming that over prioritizing your own content.

So this may look like, okay, if you enjoy drawing or painting, or gardening or cooking, right? That has nothing to do with your business as an online service provider, but that's okay. You can get so many different inspirations from just leaning into and embracing these hobbies or these habits.

It helps bring a fresh perspective to your business. And it's often the way that you bring together these things that are uniquely you, even outside of business, that really help your work become even more prominent.

So these are really great spaces to begin the process of uncovering what your unique brilliance is.

Your unique brilliance is specifically how you personalize your expertise. So it's bringing together your experiences, your challenges, your personal story, and infusing it into the things that you use very practically in your business foundation. So your processes, your frameworks, even the specific tools that you lean on in order to help your clients get the solutions to their problems.

Okay, so you're ready to become that one of one business owner and you know what your unique brilliance is. So astrologically, the Midheaven is such a great placement to work with when it comes to figuring out the practical steps of how to bring this forward.

The reason for this is because your Midheaven is your legacy energy. This is a placement that is going to really speak to how you are meant to build a legacy and uncover how you are best meant to show up as a leader. And what better way to utilize your unique brilliance than by showcasing your leadership skills within your business?

Now, the challenge with this is that most people look to their Midheaven sign and really stop there. But there's so many different places that you can dig into when it comes to using your Midheaven effectively in your business. And it requires you to go a lot deeper than just your Midheaven sign.

So this is looking to what house your Midheaven is in. I'm a traditional astrologer. I'm a Whole Sign house stan. So I always recommend that you use that. But especially when you're using Whole Sign houses, your Midheaven moves from just the 10th house like it would be in more time-based house systems like Placidus. Instead, your Midheaven (based on your time of birth) can be anywhere from your 7th house all the way to your 12th house. But it'll most commonly be in the 9th house, the 10th house, or the 11th house.

So understanding this and knowing that the Midheaven is going to shift gives it a more personalized feel with how you're meant to utilize its legacy energy. The themes of the house that your Midheaven falls into can really give you specific guidance on how you're meant to utilize your unique brilliance, how you're meant to personalize that expertise within your business.

Another thing to consider is your Midheaven ruler. So the traditional planet that rules your Midheaven sign: where is that placed in your birth chart? What are the conditions of that planet? Et cetera. All this tells you so many things about how you are also meant to use your unique brilliance, but specifically can give you even more ideas on different ways that you can infuse it in building your personal brand.

And then this goes out to the folks that are maybe a little bit more advanced, but you can also dive into the decan that your Midheaven falls into to really help spotlight and showcase the specific way you're meant to utilize your unique brilliance.

So all of this information together work simultaneously to give you astrological insight on how you're meant to bring your unique brilliance and infuse it into your expertise so that you become that go-to person in your niche.

So by doing this, you're building your business and you're building specifically your visibility and your content, not just around the fact that you know how to coach, how to consult, how to provide an online service.

Instead, you're really showcasing it around your unique perspective: how you are meant to lead specifically. That is based on who you are at your core. That is something that no matter what, no one else can take away: no algorithm, no person, and there's no competition with it.

So it really does become the best way to effectively stand out in your niche or your industry. And the best part is that it naturally evolves with you as you grow and scale your own business.
