Practice The Word

What does genuine faith actually look like?

In Part 2 of this conversation on James 1:22, Bryan, Veneta, and Brian Jarman continue exploring what it means to be doers of the Word and not hearers only.

The discussion moves from Jonah’s reluctant obedience to the importance of prayer, repentance, church community, mentorship, and the work of the Holy Spirit. They also address church hurt, raising children in the faith, spiritual disciplines, and how ordinary believers can begin living out biblical obedience one step at a time.
If you’ve struggled with spiritual consistency, church wounds, or simply want to deepen your walk with Christ, this episode offers practical encouragement rooted in Scripture.

What is Practice The Word?

Practice the Word is a Christ-centered podcast for people who are ready to stop sitting on the sidelines of faith and start living the Word of God in everyday life.

Hosted by believers who love Jesus, serve people, and understand the real-world trials of business, family, ministry, hardship, and obedience, this show is for anyone who feels called to step out of the boat and walk with Christ more deeply.

Each episode encourages listeners to read Scripture for themselves, trust the Holy Spirit, serve others with sincerity, and become doers of the Word — not hearers only.

Through biblical conversations, personal stories, interviews with Christian leaders, and practical encouragement, Practice the Word exists to point people back to Jesus, remind them that every day is a gift from the Lord, and challenge them to live fully surrendered to Him.

Whether you are new to faith, returning to God, wrestling through a difficult season, or ready to go deeper, this podcast is an invitation to get off the fence, open the Bible, and practice the Word.

00:00:02:00 - 00:00:20:12

Welcome to Practice the Word, a podcast helping everyday believers become everyday doers of the word. Through scripture stories and honest conversations, we'll talk about what it means to follow Jesus with courage, sincerity, and obedience in real life. Let's get started.

00:00:20:14 - 00:00:33:13

00:00:33:13 - 00:00:34:19

00:00:34:20 - 00:00:50:02
Unknown
you know, everybody knows the story of Jonah. I was studying that this morning. And, you know, Jonah got mad with God. He he told Jonah to go to Nineveh. Nineveh. And Jonah throws his fit right. He throws his fit.

00:00:50:04 - 00:01:15:15
Unknown
And finally he says, okay, I'll go. He goes and he tells all the people. He warns them. They all change. Even the king said he told everybody, put on burlap fast. Nobody eats. Even the animals didn't eat. The children are the only one to eat. Nobody eats. We're going to fast. We're going to repent. That's another thing of doing the word, practicing repentance.

00:01:15:16 - 00:01:40:17
Unknown
Yeah. And and he and everybody did exactly what the king said. Do you know Jonah was still mad at God? He said, you you sent me here. You knew what you were doing. You knew your love was unwavering. You knew your compassion was amazing. Jonah saying this, he said, you sent me here. And then it says that Jonah, it says that a tree grew up.

00:01:40:17 - 00:02:04:04
Unknown
God calls a tree to grow up and give him shade. And Jonah actually was living the life. He was cool. He was the wind was was blowing. And then it says, God sent a worm to eat the leaves on the tree. And it says, then the, the, the sun, the scorching hot sun come through. And it was burning his head.

00:02:04:05 - 00:02:25:04
Unknown
Jonah gets mad again. Why don't you just let me die? Why? Why are you doing this to me? And you know what God said? He said. He said just as you changed your mind. Whether you're happy, you're sad, you're mad. You're not angry. He says, why can't I do that? I created you, nobody preaches that, though. You can read it.

00:02:25:05 - 00:02:48:20
Unknown
And and and in the in the end of Jonah, do you know who had the last word? God. Jonah? Never. It never says what Jonah replied to God. It ends with saying that God had the last word, the sovereignty of God, the sovereignty of God. It was like he was communicating well, he was communicating, but he was having communion with him.

00:02:48:20 - 00:03:07:12
Unknown
It was like he was breaking bread, almost with Jonah to say, hey, I'm God, I can do whatever I want to do. You do it. And it was just such a, I don't know, like a, like a one on one of the same story in job to this job, God never answered any of jobs questions why those things happened, he said.

00:03:07:14 - 00:03:26:10
Unknown
Who are you? To even question me? Was really his answer right to job? Right. And I were you going to say something? Yeah. And I want to say Vinita shared that with me this morning and then share it to me again when she got to the office. And I related to it a lot of ways, and but I wanted to kind of relate it to James.

00:03:26:11 - 00:03:45:11
Unknown
Yeah. So I got into it and I, I was shocked because it is it ends it right there. Right. But you know, in James 122 again, don't isolate James 122 go, I think it's 19 to 25. Yes. And this is the flow of it.

00:03:45:13 - 00:04:21:02
Unknown
Be quick to hear. Yes. Be slow to speak. Be slow to anger. Now what we're talking about Jonah again. Right story. Right. Receive the implanted word. Yes, because I've given you a word, right? Implanted in your brain and in your life. Do what the word says, continue in it, and be blessed in your doing. Right. I mean, you could have a podcast on, like, every little phrase in that verse and it blows your mind is because James is not against the hearing part of it.

00:04:21:03 - 00:04:45:03
Unknown
That's right. What James is saying is hearing is necessary. We've got to be able to hear it right. But hearing is incomplete until it produces again what? Obedience. Right. And he uses the word plant, and it's just like a plant. When you plant a seed in the ground, it takes root and it grows. And and what you hope happens eventually is there's fruit, right?

00:04:45:05 - 00:04:49:10
Unknown
And symbolically, that fruit would represent obedience in the life of a Christian.

00:04:49:12 - 00:04:51:05
Unknown
And what did Jesus say also. And

00:04:51:07 - 00:05:09:02
Unknown
his theme is throughout that even in the Mount do because you have heard not not do because you think better, don't do because you're trying to earn your way to heaven. Listen to what I have said and these are my instructions to you.

00:05:09:04 - 00:05:30:02
Unknown
Even though that sounds simple, our earthly flesh does not want to do it right? Right. I would rather sit down at a restaurant and a waitress come to me and I just ignore the waitress. But that. That is a soul. Yeah. Yes. And there comes a day. And I think it's in the book of Colossians. Yeah, I think it's Colossians.

00:05:30:02 - 00:05:54:19
Unknown
We talked about it where your your house, it's your house and has straw and has grass and has gold and metal and eventually in judgment, God's going to burn that down and judge you and what's left. Yeah. How many people do we ignore on a daily basis or actions turn them off like they can't be a Christian? I mean, how can they talk to me this way?

00:05:54:21 - 00:06:13:01
Unknown
Yeah. Not knowing what they've gone through that day. And I don't kill you like Jesus sees them. That's right. That's really the transformation that has to happen. You have to start seeing people like God sees them. Right. Why are they acting like they're acting? Because they've been through something. That's right. Yeah, but that's right. But they're not unfixable, right?

00:06:13:02 - 00:06:36:20
Unknown
You know, it's. And Jesus talked so much about that when he was in his earthly ministry about leaving the 99, going and getting the one. Yes. And I can tell you, in business, we've started ten businesses and we've sold eight of them. God has been gracious to us from where we started, to where we are now. But I can tell you the struggle we have had

00:06:37:00 - 00:06:56:05
Unknown
because it's so hard. It's so hard to go out in the world and do business and and what part? And I see James and I see James's transformation and you see this, James, that that's part of the world that denies Christ.

00:06:56:05 - 00:07:19:06
Unknown
Right. And then Jesus, Jesus comes to him after resurrection. And now now the obedience part. Right. And, and and to weigh that and I hear all these gurus, you see them all the time on TikTok and Instagram, and they going to tell you how how we're in real estate, we've done business outside of real estate and sold them successfully.

00:07:19:07 - 00:07:47:15
Unknown
But I can tell you now, it is not a standard practice that in other words, I could sit here and watch this person do something and I'm going to repeat it. It's not how it works. There's a lot of tears. There's a lot of grind. There's a lot of heartache that's involved in business. And it's not where where we have because we we work together.

00:07:47:15 - 00:07:51:19
Unknown
She's my boss and I honestly, this is the truth.

00:07:52:00 - 00:08:17:21
Unknown
sought approval by success in business. Prior to that, I sold it. My heart was to a point that I wanted to be elevated and it be told so in my walk with the Lord and my obedience, what I said and what I felt in my in in my prayer time, in, in what is what is calls humility.

00:08:17:21 - 00:08:42:20
Unknown
Because I need more humility. She will tell you I need more humbleness, but I don't want to be that person that, that that W2 in in, in, in what we do. I don't want that. Right. What I would rather it to be is a want to kneel down and I want her to stand on my back. That's what I want.

00:08:42:21 - 00:09:02:21
Unknown
I want to dig the rose. And when I lift my head. It's like a scene from I think it's facing the Giants or whatever it is. Where he. Where where the kid. They blindfold the kid and he's carrying the other kid on his back. Right? And all he wants them to do is go ten yards, right? And he ends up going a hundred yards.

00:09:02:22 - 00:09:29:00
Unknown
She's the coach. I've never seen anybody like Vinita. Now, don't get me wrong. Our marriage is not perfect. But when I tell you our strengths complement one another. And I thank God for that because I don't know where I would be today without her. I don't know where I would be today without you. You know my story. You know my story.

00:09:29:00 - 00:09:57:11
Unknown
And the Nita knows my story. There in is freedom in it. There's shame in it. But I think I kind of relate to James. Yeah. Who cares? That's right. I know I denied my half brother. I didn't believe him. Right. He come to me, and now what I want to do is strive for a beating in it. That's what I strive for, right?

00:09:57:12 - 00:10:27:01
Unknown
There was a time, honestly, that that's in our businesses. We wanted to be the best. We wanted to be the best. We we we did that. But we also strive to look to our employees loyalty to one another, but more importantly, loyalty to Christ. That's right. Because you what you're hitting on is the things of this world are are temporary.

00:10:27:01 - 00:10:47:23
Unknown
They don't really matter in the big scheme of things. What matters is people. It's really what you're saying is people. Right. And, you know, Jesus said, what does it matter if you gain the whole world or lose your own soul? Absolutely. You know, and and, and even I think it was Paul, you talked about your struggles and your weaknesses, and you're not ashamed of them.

00:10:47:23 - 00:11:03:17
Unknown
And you shouldn't be, because Paul said, it's in my weaknesses that I experienced God's grace. That's right. And a bigger he said, so I rejoice in my weakness, right? You know, and so I think that's good. I think that's good. Yeah, I know your testimony and God has done an amazing work

00:11:03:20 - 00:11:25:04
Unknown
tell us somebody that you have mentored and you don't have to give their name, but give us somebody that you've mentored and how it's maybe been troubling for you or how maybe, maybe you're still mentoring them. Yeah, I'm still won't name names because they may watch this and I may not. They may be embarrassed or they may be sitting across from me.

00:11:25:10 - 00:11:49:16
Unknown
Oh, yeah. But we have a young lady that really my wife mentored. She had some struggles in life, and she lived with us for a while. Great great young lady. And her parents weren't Christians. And through a whole series of events, I can't really go into any details because people might watch this, but we we ended up having to leave our church and we started a home group in our church.

00:11:49:16 - 00:12:11:04
Unknown
And and by the time we did that, this young lady's mother got saved. Wow. Yeah. She knows nothing when I tell you. She knows she knew nothing. She does now. But then she knew nothing about Christianity. She just heard a preacher preached the salvation. Salvation message at a funeral. Wow. And she said, man, I want to go to heaven to be with my granny.

00:12:11:04 - 00:12:32:00
Unknown
Wow. And she accepted Christ. But it didn't really even understand anything except that Jesus loved her and wanted to forgive her ever since. So we started, I guess you could say, mentoring her on Sunday mornings in her house. And and we've kind of been hitting on this the whole time. But I prayed and I'm like, God, how do I explain Christianity to her?

00:12:32:04 - 00:12:51:23
Unknown
Where do I even start? And it went back. You hit on it. It's very simple. Jesus broke down what we're supposed to do into two things. Everything goes back to these two things. Even these scriptures were reading. Go back to it. And that is love the Lord your God with all your heart, your soul in your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.

00:12:52:00 - 00:13:11:21
Unknown
Right. And everything goes back to that, even what he's talking about here, when you're a doer of the word. It goes back to I love the Lord with all my heart, my soul. In my mind. I love him more than my own desires. Yes. And at the end of that, when he talks about the true, true, true religion is helping the widows and the orphans and things that is loving my neighbor as myself.

00:13:11:23 - 00:13:35:18
Unknown
And so it's just been a beautiful thing to watch this lady grow from knowing nothing to just knowing just enough. Right? And she even she, she had a testimony that she gave the other Sunday morning. She started to minister to people at her job. Wow. Nobody ever taught her how to pray. Nobody ever taught her to lay hands on people.

00:13:35:19 - 00:13:50:05
Unknown
But she she she does that. Her job. Now, somebody will come and they'll be crying, and she'll let me pray for you. And she'll lay her hand. Wow. And so I guess how that ties back into this is you don't really have to know a lot, right? To be a doer. That's right. You can just do a little bit, right?

00:13:50:06 - 00:14:11:03
Unknown
Just do something right. You know, take that first step. And it's like you said at the very beginning of this podcast, God will take your hand and and take that little thing that you're doing and make it grow. Yes. And and strengthen your faith. So how have you seen her grow, like from the time that she, you first met her to now before she was a Christian?

00:14:11:04 - 00:14:32:11
Unknown
Tell us how you have seen her grow from unbelief to, like, sold out believer. I mean, it's every aspect of life. I mean, she had no thought of Christianity, no thought of Christ, no thought of Jesus. He meant nothing to her. And then over a matter, I think it's been two years, maybe going on three since she accepted Christ.

00:14:32:17 - 00:14:54:03
Unknown
I mean, it seems like it involves encompasses every aspect of her life, right? You don't just listen to secular music anymore. She only listens to Christian music. She prays. She prays for other people. And she doesn't know that much. Right. You know, and it really, it spoke to me because a lot of times we don't reach out to people because of we're afraid we're going to get questions and we don't know how to answer.

00:14:54:04 - 00:15:09:18
Unknown
Right. She's not afraid. Yes. And she's fine. Right. And in the moment, the Holy Spirit helps her and gives her the words to say so. I mean, you ask me how she's grown. I mean, from nothing to something, right? You know, and she's still growing. Right. You know, who knows what, what it's going to be in the end?

00:15:09:19 - 00:15:35:18
Unknown
Absolutely. Yeah, absolutely. And I think the key thing, too, is I know this story. So. Yeah. You know, I mean, you and I have this conversation quite a bit and and I do too. But the the thing is about being a doer. It's a practice. That's right. There's nothing wrong with asking a fellow believer. Somebody is mentoring you or you're walking through the faith like, I got this situation.

00:15:35:18 - 00:15:57:01
Unknown
We need to pray about this thing. This is serious, right? This is the Stanley Cup of all Stanley Cups, right? This is salvation. She's going to heaven. That's right. She is going to be with the remnant in heaven. Right. And and what a celebration that is. And that goes back. Let's go back to James for a minute. Let's talk.

00:15:57:02 - 00:16:19:02
Unknown
You know that verse 22. And I use it quite a bit about the mirror. And you know that mirror, you know, someone looks in that mirror in the world and they normally walk away and it's normally a vanity thing. But James is not talking about vanity. He's still about looking to that mirror and evaluating right our selves. Right.

00:16:19:02 - 00:16:43:10
Unknown
And a lot of times the lukewarm Christian, the one that just goes church, this music hears sermon. They leave and they go out. They just walk away from the mirror. The person that looks in that mirror and what James is talking about, and we look in that mirror and we see ourselves and we see the sin. We see where we need to be corrected.

00:16:43:11 - 00:17:04:03
Unknown
Yes, the correction is what James is talking about. And that is what James saw. Yes. Right. Like he saw the resurrected Christ and he's looking in a mirror and he's realizing I'm wrong. Right. I have been wrong. He is the Messiah. I was wrong. He is the Messiah. And I and I have this wrote down in my Bible.

00:17:04:04 - 00:17:35:06
Unknown
You know, God's word shows us what needs to change. This come from Pastor Ron Carpenter when redemption. And he said, God's word shows us what we what needs to be changed. Obedience is what happens when we stop blaming the mirror. Yeah. That's pretty good. That hit me like a rock and it was part of my transformation. And you know and at this point now we've gotten into 2526 verses.

00:17:35:08 - 00:18:00:02
Unknown
How similar is James now sounding like Jesus. It sounds like the sermon on the Mount in so many ways. It really does. Yeah. And that is so funny because that is exactly what we talked about. When you get to this point in James, when you're looking at it, I'm just reading my notes. But you know, when you read James 122.

00:18:00:04 - 00:18:22:03
Unknown
He resembles Jesus in his conclusion on the sermon on the Mount. And that's huge. It's Matthew 724. And when you're looking at it and I'm going to read it, I think it's from the ESV. This is everyone, then, who hears these words of mine and does them, does them right.

00:18:22:05 - 00:18:37:21
Unknown
It's like, and then if you were to insert the sermon on the Mount, it's like a man who builds his house on the rock, on the rock. And this is the thing and and how many people they'll sit there and, and I've heard it a million times. And I shake my head because I'm dealing with somebody right now.

00:18:37:23 - 00:19:01:10
Unknown
And we're having these conversations, and I'm trying where the rocks, Peter, the rocks, Peter. And I want to say, and I just. And I know I'm going to get blown up on this one, but that rock is Jesus. That's right. That is exactly who James is referring to. He is. He is the impenetrable foundation, right? He cannot be penetrated, right?

00:19:01:14 - 00:19:25:16
Unknown
It is perfect. That's right. In foundations, he's the. He's the cornerstone that the builders rejected. Everything is built on Jesus Christ. And what is Jesus doing here? We're just talking about it all the time. He's taking these two laws. So so, so James is doing the exact thing Jesus is doing in the sermon of the Mount. He's separating everybody into two groups, and it's a mate.

00:19:25:16 - 00:19:46:14
Unknown
Those who hear and obey and those who here and do not obey. Right. So it's an obedience thing. Right? That's right. And, you know, Jesus makes this thing and I, paraphrasing it pretty much, he's leaving it and he's tired. He's taught it and he's got to go. And and they keep asking him questions. And it's like, either you get it or you don't get it.

00:19:46:16 - 00:20:09:09
Unknown
Yeah. That's right. What else can I mean, do I need to slap you upside your head? For you to understand. And he wants why wouldn't you want to obey? Because you go back to the sermon on the Mount. And it's like a good thing. Because if you build your life on the words that Jesus taught and build your life on him, you are like a man who built his house on a rock.

00:20:09:09 - 00:20:26:14
Unknown
And when the storms of life come right, and they beat and they batter, and you go through stuff and you don't understand it, right? If your house is built on that truth, right, then your house survives. But if you don't, you're like a man who builds his house on the sand. That's right. And when the storms of life come, you collapse.

00:20:26:15 - 00:20:51:08
Unknown
Right. It is arrogance that we. We don't want to follow a beating. Yeah, that that is like when we're nine years old and your and your father says, well, don't do this. It just gives you, you know, the license to go do it because you want to be disc obedient. It's in our nature. It's so hard for us to be obedient.

00:20:51:10 - 00:21:13:13
Unknown
Go back to what James is saying. Now go back to the sermon on the Mount. Both groups have are listening. One's listening to James, and you go back, you know, ten, 20 years and you're hearing the mount. You're hearing the sermon on the Mount. Both groups have heard the same thing. We're talking about one obeyed. Yeah. And went out and did it.

00:21:13:13 - 00:21:39:20
Unknown
And the other was like, well, I'm just gonna go home and cook or I'm gonna go live my life because I'm comfortable doing that. Right? That's right. So what would you say to a person that is maybe, you know, they need some help. They maybe they've been in church and they got hurt and the church hurt them, or they're just something going on in the church that they know is inappropriate.

00:21:40:00 - 00:22:08:15
Unknown
What do you say to that person? Do you how do you redeem them from the hurt? Because there's a lot of church hurt that goes on today. And one thing talking about the perseverance that we're supposed to, you know, really strive for is staying the course, as the apostle Paul said, stay the course. But what do you say to someone who has experienced so much chart and they're even going through a process now?

00:22:08:16 - 00:22:33:01

Maybe there's legal issues that they're going through all because of the church. How do you encourage them to continue on that journey and be doers of the word and not just hearers? How how do you give them strength to go on and and just remember that, you know, the Scripture in Proverbs, it says, don't put your trust in mortal man.

00:22:33:01 - 00:22:52:07
Unknown
Put your hope and trust in God. You know, I mean, you said it. I mean, one of the worst things in the world is to get hurt in church, especially by a leader in the church. We've probably all experienced it in some of this. It's terrible. And especially if you if you have no means to even try to reconcile whatever it was that happened.

00:22:52:07 - 00:23:16:23
Unknown
It's hurtful. And I get it. While people leave churches, I get it. Yeah. You know, but, I mean, this is your soul at stake, right? Just because something happened to you at church, it's not to belittle it. Big picture. Right? You still have your your soul to take care of. Right. And so, I mean, I guess I would tell that person, if you can reconcile it, reconcile it, but don't just leave.

00:23:17:00 - 00:23:38:00
Unknown
Don't abandon your faith over what somebody else did. Right. Because you put your eyes on Jesus, right? That's right. You know. That's right. Because we can we can put our eyes on the situation. So much so that that becomes our God. Do you agree? Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. You know, we could get into a whole thing about churches and things that go into churches, right?

00:23:38:02 - 00:24:01:01
Unknown
But the people that are watching today and they they the situation is so bad, maybe they do have to leave church, but would you advise that they stay home for a while and try to, or that they need to get right back in? Do they need to find a church immediately? How how would you address that? I would say if you have to leave, I mean, don't stop going to church.

00:24:01:01 - 00:24:20:20
Unknown
You need to be fed. You need to be involved with a group of people. But I don't think there's anything wrong for a short period of time. Just finding a church where you can blend in, right? You know, and just heal, right? But you have to pray about it. You have to you have to let the Holy Spirit lead you to that place.

00:24:20:22 - 00:24:43:14
Unknown
And it's not easy. And sometimes it takes years to heal from things like that. But healing will come if you stay faithful. Right. You got to determine in your heart I don't care what these other people do. Right. They want to act crazy. That's right. And acting contrary to what the Bible teaches. Right. They can do that. But I got to worry about my own soul, and I got to get myself right.

00:24:43:15 - 00:24:59:17
Unknown
So, yeah, you got to find a place where you can get fed. Right. And it's hard. Yeah. It's not easy, but. But there are there are churches. There's so many churches around there. There's churches where you can get fit, and the Holy Spirit will lead us, and the Holy Spirit will lead you. That's right. And and you hit on this very early on.

00:24:59:17 - 00:25:20:12
Unknown
But the Christians don't rely on the Holy Spirit like they need to. Right. They don't really understand. I don't think what he is. Right. Depending on what denominations you were raised, and you have different outlooks and perspectives on what the Holy Spirit is, but he is there. I believe in the Trinity, but he is as if Jesus is living in you.

00:25:20:13 - 00:25:36:16
Unknown
That's right. It's the Holy Spirit. But it's like Jesus, right? And when Jesus was leaving his disciples at the Last Supper, he had this conversation with them. He's like, I'm leaving you guys. What do you mean, you're leaving? We need you. But I'm not going to leave you like an orphan. I'm not going to leave you alone. I'm going to send another one like me.

00:25:36:16 - 00:25:54:23
Unknown
Right. And he is the Holy Spirit. And he will be your comforter. The Greek word, the Paraclete that you mentioned earlier and times of hurt like that, that's when you have to. You got to lean into the Holy Spirit. Yeah. You got to pray. Yeah. You know, you got to take care of yourself. And the way you take care of yourself is you get on your knees and you pray and you ask God to lead you right.

00:25:55:02 - 00:26:19:04
Unknown
I guess that's what I would say. So what? What? Sorry. So what would you say to like, a single mother? Excuse me? A mother, that is. Her husband does not attend church with her. She gets up every Sunday morning. She takes the children to church. The husband does not attend. What would you say to her? How would you encourage her to be doers of the word, not just hear us, because it's a lot to get 3 or 4 children up every Sunday morning.

00:26:19:05 - 00:26:46:08
Unknown
No help from the husband or vice versa. The husband gets up every. The wife doesn't go. How would you encourage that parent that has to go take the children along? Should they watch it online? Should I just get up and get the kids ready for church, feed on breakfast and get in the car and make that an every Sunday, you know, time, a just a commitment for that that parent to go without the with the without the spouse.

00:26:46:09 - 00:27:03:08
Unknown
God understands sometimes like if you just if you can't get the kids ready. Sure, sure. God's not going to beat you over the head, right. And disown you because you missed church once, right? But yeah, you should make an effort. You should do the best you can. Right. And if you're involved in a church, tell people, hey, I'm struggling to get here.

00:27:03:09 - 00:27:18:05
Unknown
Yes. Maybe there's somebody that would help you. That's what church is for. That's right. You know. That's right. And for the husband, the body of Christ. Yeah. We're supposed to help each other. I don't know how you could help in that situation, but I'm sure there's ways. And then for the husband that's not saved, you just have to pray.

00:27:18:06 - 00:27:43:06
Unknown
Yes. And give him to God. And God has a way of working on people, right? Sometimes for that husband, I've seen situations where the husband hits rock bottom and accepts Christ. So yeah, that's what I would say to a person like that. Well, what would you say? I mean, like like you said, I think that you I think they need to find a group within the church, a support system.

00:27:43:06 - 00:28:07:15
Unknown
That's right. That would support them and keep them encouraged and keep there are there are churches that are there that have people that will literally take you to church. They will encourage you. They will help you financially, really. And you just I think that's another that's that's being a door of the word is finding your support group in the church that will say, hey.

00:28:07:16 - 00:28:26:10
Unknown
Okay. Your child sick. Okay. I'll come and help you with that child. There are people that literally want to serve you, but if you don't seek that out, then, I mean, there's the mirror thing again. Look at me. Anybody? I mean, if you don't tell anybody, if you don't seek out that church, you'll never have that support system.

00:28:26:11 - 00:28:47:20
Unknown
And people don't say something sometimes because there's a little bit of shame involved. Right. And you have to be careful who you tell. Right. If in a healthy church, there should be somebody you can talk to in a healthy church, there is somebody you can talk to. There's a group of supporters there that will support that single mom or that, you know, that single dad, but you have to take that first step.

00:28:47:22 - 00:29:12:06
Unknown
You have to take initiative to be even if you can't tithe. Everybody talks about tithing, but the Lord knows if you can't get, you can still be a part of the church and give your time, give your talent, give whatever you can to the Lord. If you can't give money, you can give your time and start with just getting your children into that environment so that they are transformed.

00:29:12:07 - 00:29:28:07
Unknown
You know the children it says that we need to have. Jesus said we need to have the faith of a child. And so when we put our children into that environment, they come back and they preach to us. They tell us, hey, mom, this is what I learned today. This is what this is what you need to do.

00:29:28:08 - 00:29:48:11
Unknown
They're really quick on their feet to tell us what to do, but that is because we have put them in the environment and it's transformation. It's transforming them. And Jesus also said the Lord children would lead them. So I think when we get up and we made the commitment to put our children in church and put them in that environment, I think it changes the whole household.

00:29:48:11 - 00:29:59:10
Unknown
I really believe it changes the whole soul. And it is again, going back to James 122, be doors of the word, not just hearers, because word of truth. That's right. The word of truth. That's right, that's

00:29:59:16 - 00:30:06:20
Unknown
good. Yeah. I mean, you know, works is not the root of salvation. Works is the fruit of salvation. That's right.

00:30:06:20 - 00:30:31:05
Unknown
That's true. And if we're if we're talking about James and trying to make it relative to this, right. You know, James is saying in 122 you attend worship, you hear the teaching, you know the Scripture, you agree with the truth, but you're not obey it. Okay? Our circumstances we know right now, Jesus already warned us there will be suffering here on this earth.

00:30:31:11 - 00:30:54:10
Unknown
Do we have a single mother with children? I'm not saying that suffering, but to get to the outcome of what James is talking about is a massive sacrifice. And a lot of times we have to go look in the mirror where James is talking about, and I talk a lot to men about this. We have to go look in that mirror.

00:30:54:12 - 00:31:14:01
Unknown
Yeah, we've made some decisions that have limited our paths. So yeah, ball games, softball, golf, stuff like that. Yeah, we need to cut that out right now. We've got to focus on our God. We got to focus on our family. Because the key thing is, is and we've told our daughter this many times, and Brian and I, we've talked about it.

00:31:14:02 - 00:31:40:10
Unknown
You know, when you go in front of Jesus and there's judgment, you're not allowed to call witnesses because he already knows the story. So we're not saying you have to be perfect, but let's be a doer. Look, could you imagine if every believer right now in America would just apply the doer part for one week? Let's be doers of this word.

00:31:40:11 - 00:32:03:17
Unknown
Let's do what James is saying. What could you imagine? What would be accomplished? Well, I mean, even like, you know, the scripture that says pray without ceasing. You know, years ago we would have prayer meetings. We just call people together and pray. And if I was going to feed them, everyone, I would show up if we weren't going to feed them and we were just going to pray, maybe ten would show up.

00:32:03:19 - 00:32:25:01
Unknown
Yeah. Nobody wants to pray. It is like, you know, it is such a it's almost like you're having to really pull them in to be able to pray. And how can you have a relationship with anyone if you don't ever communicate with them? That's right. Right. And it's the obedience to pray. Can you imagine? It's discipline to have to pray.

00:32:25:01 - 00:32:47:04
Unknown
We live in a world right now, right now that we have so much access to the word. I mean, you go to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and here's all these pastors or wannabe people and they're just picking up, we have all this access. So we're hearing it right. But the difference is it makes you feel good, but are we doing it right?

00:32:47:05 - 00:33:12:03
Unknown
And is it truthful. So you have to know the word right. Then you apply it. That's why I always say it's a golfer's game in Christianity. In a way, because our salvation is on us. I mean, even even my wife, she has to have her walk now. We have to do it together. We we we encourage one another.

00:33:12:05 - 00:33:43:18
Unknown
As early as this morning, she's correcting me on my attitude. Like, you got a whole day of work coming up, and you can't have this attitude that do that. Did I do that? Isn't the next podcast on marriage counselor? Yes. And and and it took me about three hours and and you know, our people knew they knew that that that you know, but there's days like that and you have to have encouragers in your life that are speaking into our, our church, and I call it our church.

00:33:43:20 - 00:34:04:04
Unknown
We, we drive two hours one way. And I'm going to tell you why we drive two hours. Now people know that's commitment. But no, but it's not. It's an A bear and it's a B. Don't they have an online survey. They do watch. But I'm going to tell you this right now I'm going to tell you this right now.

00:34:04:06 - 00:34:22:10
Unknown
You've got to apply it. That's right. And we take it as a date day. It's our day to day. It really is. People say, you got to have a date night. We spend two hours on the way. I kid you not. We read the word and pray the whole way. The end. It's so. It's so relieving because nobody's on the roads.

00:34:22:11 - 00:34:49:09
Unknown
Our phones are not blowing up like they normally are. By by Sunday afternoon they are. And on the way back home we're talking about it. And but the key thing is our church. And I will say it and it's not in a proud way, but when I tell you they apply it, that they are a bears of the word, that they're not picking 100 things they gotta do.

00:34:49:11 - 00:35:12:02
Unknown
They're not picking a nonprofit that all they do is send money to. And they say, well, we sent the money. No, they are actively involved. They're actively involved in the community. They're active. When I tell you, the kids ministry there is phenomenal. I've never seen it. They bring them into service. They're sitting on the altar and praise and worship.

00:35:12:04 - 00:35:37:22
Unknown
Then they're sent back to their classrooms. When I tell you that the people there Vacation Bible School is going on, probably 70%, if I had to estimate, is involved in the vacation, and I wouldn't even call the Vacation Bible School because they have worked on it all year, because they talk about it and how they plan it and what they're extremely rare.

00:35:37:23 - 00:35:56:21
Unknown
I heard a statistic one time that it's the 8020 rule, and in the church it's usually less. Usually like 10% of the people do all the work. Work? Not in this church. No. And obviously I'm not going to mention the name now because I don't have permission and I don't want to blow up their stuff, but they're very active and stuff.

00:35:56:21 - 00:36:26:02
Unknown
They're they're active in Israel. They're active in the community. They're active in restoration and reconciliation. And it's about the worship of the Lord. Yes. And our bishop leads that wonderfully. When I tell you, when we go in at 930, it starts at 930. There is nothing. But we're worshiping God at that point. It's worship. It's not what I'm going through.

00:36:26:02 - 00:36:51:11
Unknown
It's not what she's going through. It's about the through. And, you know, doing is an act of worship. Anything you did for God in a sense of active worship, it is. It is so. So let's talk about repentance because we we don't a lot of people don't talk about repentance. Okay. So, you know, in the Old Testament and the New Testament, in the scriptures alone is mentioned about 106 times.

00:36:51:12 - 00:37:18:02
Unknown
Repentance. That's a lot. That's a lot. So because repentance is part of doing, somebody asked me out of the day and they said, well, how do you know when they're sincere and repenting? I said, well, you don't. Only God knows. But again, I think that when we repent, I think it again, it's by the Holy Spirit that we be genuine and only God knows.

00:37:18:02 - 00:37:40:03
Unknown
But I think that we constantly, as we're repenting daily or, you know, whenever we, you know, all the time because people think that they don't sin in a day, they'll go and say, well, I don't sin every day. If you're flesh, you sin every day. And well, again, break it down to the basics. What is repentance? Explain it.

00:37:40:03 - 00:38:00:04
Unknown
Repentance to a brand new Christian. What does it mean? Well, it's basically it means that you're here. But when you repent, you go right back up here. Basically, you're just you're just saying, I realize what I did and I don't want to do it again. I don't want to ever do it again. That's good. And guess what? You're going to do it again.

00:38:00:05 - 00:38:19:19
Unknown
That's right. But it's the heart. Your heart that is saying, God, I come before you and I don't want to ever do this again. I repent, God, I don't want to ever. I won't do this again. And people say, well, you're lying. No you're not, because you are really, genuinely saying, sincerely saying before the Lord, I don't want to do this again.

00:38:19:20 - 00:38:45:21
Unknown
Yeah. And that is, that is the repent of heart. And, and, and some people may have never repented in their life because we don't talk about repentance that much. We just don't because a lot of people don't understand it. But again, it's it's really just just surrendering yourself and it's really crucifying the flesh to say, I know I've messed up and I'm going to continue to mess up.

00:38:45:23 - 00:39:08:10
Unknown
But how? If you take it from a perspective on an earthly measure and somebody comes to you and they mess up and they keep coming back and say, Brian, I'm so sorry, I really I am so sorry I did it again. How is that going to make you feel? I mean, he's going to just soften your heart to say, oh my gosh, but she's so sweet when she says it.

00:39:08:11 - 00:39:29:06
Unknown
It's like a child coming to you saying, I'm so sorry I messed up again. Yeah, I heard a story. I think David said it. He said, if you had a child, you know you want that child to obey you and you want them to love you. But if that child came to you and said, mom, dad, I've decided I'm going to obey you 100% of the time.

00:39:29:06 - 00:39:46:06
Unknown
I'm never going to disobey you again, but I'm never going to love you. Wouldn't you rather have a child that loves you but occasionally disobeys? Right? And this is a lot of times our relationship with God? Absolutely. And because of that, you're always in a state of repentance because you're never going to be right. You're never going to be perfect.

00:39:46:07 - 00:40:04:18
Unknown
Right. And repentance is just coming to God over and over and saying, there is no righteousness in me. God. Right. I need you, right. You are my righteousness. Right? And then that leads into sanctification, where you just over time you there's a progressive where you become more and more and more like Jesus. Yes, but there's no condemnation in it.

00:40:04:18 - 00:40:19:18
Unknown
That's the beauty of Christian. There's no condemnation when you go to God and say, I've messed up, there's this thing in my life, I don't think it looks like you. I need your help. Right? And the Holy Spirit graciously comes in and tries to help you with that. But you can't hide it. You can't keep it to yourself.

00:40:19:19 - 00:40:43:13
Unknown
That's right. Right. And to receive the word yes. Remember the word. And then you respond to the word. That's right. That's the key. And, and and something I want to bring up. And I may have brought it up earlier, but this is to repentance. It's important who we surround ourselves with. And our bishop preached this weekend. He's talking to men.

00:40:43:13 - 00:41:13:18
Unknown
And, you know, David had four key figures in his life. He had Jesse, his father, Samuel, Saul and Nathan, two figures that you would want to listen to each Jesse was his father. Key thing you gotta remember, even at David's own anointing at King, he was not present until Samuel called him. He was not called originally to that anointing.

00:41:13:20 - 00:41:43:08
Unknown
Samuel, who spoke and anointed him as king, and then Nathan, who basically taught him how to be a man like you need to man up to this thing, right? And as men, that's that's a key thing for us. If any of you can speak to women about it. But for me, and we need to hear the word, and there's so many men coming on the scene now that that is preaching this end times thing that we need to man up as men.

00:41:43:10 - 00:42:11:15
Unknown
We in its in it in you we're. But we've talked about it you know Phillip Anthony Mitchell, Tim Timberlake, Paul Lanier, they're all preaching that like we need to make what are we doing right? Why are we hiding in a cave? This is the time. There are souls perishing. Our own family is perishing because we're willing not to step up in Vinita.

00:42:11:16 - 00:42:41:23
Unknown
She. I mean, Vinita sold out in prison ministry and women ministry. Great. One on ones with women. And I think you can expand on that a little bit. Yeah. I think that again, it goes back to discipline yourselves to prayer, discipline yourself to say the word and really get before the Lord and just say, if you don't change me, I can't change.

00:42:42:01 - 00:43:15:01
Unknown
And if we you know the Scripture that says, if my people will humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways, and I would hear from Heavenly Healer land, and I think men and women to need to go back to prayer, you know, back and we've all studied the the Asia street. You know what? You know what the the bottom line of that was the foundation of the street was prayer, right?

00:43:15:02 - 00:43:38:21
Unknown
It was prayer. Right. They would come in and they would pray and then worship would break out. And I think we come in whether it be church or whatever, but prayers. The last thing some people don't pray Olio Sundays. Right. They if they don't go to church on Sunday, they won't prey on Sunday. Why do you think people don't pray to that lack of faith?

00:43:38:22 - 00:43:53:21
Unknown
Lack of faith? Like a time, lack of time. Life happens. I think it's like a faith. You know, Peter, when you look at. What do you mean? Do you mean they don't really believe that God hears their prayers? Is that what you mean when you say like, I believe it's very difficult for people to pray to a unseen God.

00:43:54:01 - 00:44:24:11
Unknown
But Scripture says the unseen is more powerful than the scene, right? So I feel like we are we are not educated on power, on how powerful God is. We are not educated on how he's the God Almighty because we have no relationship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one that reveals all, he reveals all. And the more we seek out God, the the Holy Spirit will begin to convict our hearts.

00:44:24:11 - 00:44:42:22
Unknown
And what? Who was it? Peter? Was it Peter said, Lord can crease my faith? Wasn't it Peter? He said, Lord, increase my faith. Yeah, I think it was. It was also a couple people that Jesus healed the word I. Yeah. I don't have faith going on your faith. You know. Right, exactly. You know, when Peter was there in the storm and he said, Lord, bid me to come.

00:44:43:00 - 00:45:00:14
Unknown
You know why he said, bid me to come because he didn't have faith that it was Jesus, right? I mean, really, really you, right? He he wouldn't have said that if he had the faith. He just said, hey, Lord, I'm coming to you. But he didn't say that. I think you're hitting on something. Prayer is maybe the most fundamental thing you can do to be a doer.

00:45:00:19 - 00:45:16:22
Unknown
It's kind of where it starts. You hear it and you got to have prayer as well. Yes. Being a Christian is very easy when you get there's just a couple of things you need to do, and the Holy Spirit will take care of the rest. But if I'm a Christian, I don't pray. Let's pretend I don't pray. And you were to say, well, you need to start praying, Brian.

00:45:16:22 - 00:45:33:01
Unknown
How how would you guide me to start that in my life? Where would I even begin? Well, I can start something on that. You know, a lot of times when Jesus, when you when you're reading the Gospels, how many times did he go off and pray? How many times you go in the wilderness or the garden to pray?

00:45:33:04 - 00:46:13:23
Unknown
You know God. Okay, Moses, Noah, Abraham ha unfit men for the time because God will often, often. And I and I have this written down in my journal a hundred times because God often uses the things the world overlooks when they are surrendered to him, surrendered, could be replaced by obeyed because they obeyed, because they decided it was time that what they were doing was it going to get them to where they wanted to be, and only God could get them to where they wanted to be?

00:46:14:00 - 00:46:35:05
Unknown
And how did he use these men? These are not how fluent people. These are people that were sinners. And we look at ourselves like we can't make a difference. Yes, you can make a difference. There's so many ways we can make a difference. So but in answer to your question, Jesus taught them how to pray. Hallowed be thy name.

00:46:35:05 - 00:46:58:07
Unknown
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done. But also again going back to the Holy Spirit, asking him to help us pray. You know, I always start my prayer. Holy spirit, help me to pray, and then I'll wait. I'll wait a few minutes or a minute and I and then I start praying. And then if I feel like I get off track, I'll just say, Holy Spirit, I need you.

And then at the end of my prayer, I always pray this. I said, Lord, if I prayed anything that was out of your will or if I prayed anything stupid or fleshly, I ask you to forgive me and I repent. And then that's how I end my prayer every time. Because I know myself and I know I can get it in a way real quick.

00:47:18:02 - 00:47:52:17

And I just want to always stay surrendered to him and to what he needs to work through me. Because we're all a work in progress. Nobody here is perfect. Nobody here is better than anybody. It's just I think it's a constant. I think the more we pray, the more the Lord reveals to us. And, you know, a lot of times when I pray and I share this as an intimate thing, but when I pray because I feel like God has called me as an intercessor and I don't like it, I don't like it one bit, but I surrender to it.

00:47:52:17 - 00:48:14:13

But I feel like when I pray that I begin to go into a realm that I literally see the earth, like I'm outside of earth, and I see the earth and and I have to pray for nations. And I don't know why it does that. Every just about every time I pray, all of my life goes like I'm in outer space and there's Earth, and I have to pray for the earth.

00:48:14:18 - 00:48:30:15

And I mean, I have to pray for the bodies of water. I have to pray. I just you can Brian knows. I mean, I think that's a spiritual gift. I don't think everybody has that. No, I've asked people had that or has that? Yes, I've asked people. I've asked people do you, do you, do you have this happen to you?

00:48:30:15 - 00:48:47:03
Unknown
They're like, no, no, I don't. But that is my intimate time with the Lord. That that I think that he he calls me to do that. And, and I mean, we just sat the other day and I called out every capital in every state in this nation. Did I not run? Yeah. All the way to church. Yeah we did.

00:48:47:04 - 00:49:09:18
Unknown
Yeah. Yeah. But again, it was just like it was just like the Lord was calling me to do that. And some of them I couldn't even pronounce. Yeah. Have you always been that sensitive to the Holy Spirit? Is that something that developed in you over time as you practiced it? More and more? I think it started with me younger than I want to admit, but I was disobedient and I would not do it.

00:49:09:23 - 00:49:28:10
Unknown
But as time went on, I just cried out to the Lord and and I told the Holy Spirit, if you want me to pray that, then you have to put it in me to pray, because I don't. I don't even know it's too big. It's like I go into this realm of I can't even come back out of because there's too much to pray for, right?

00:49:28:11 - 00:49:52:17
Unknown
You know? And then again, it's definitely a calling because I'm not that intelligent to pray like that. It's just beyond me to pray like that. But when God puts it on me, I have a fear that if I don't do it with the best of my ability, then I have disobeyed God. Right? And you know, I this this is not every time, but I have certain seasons.

00:49:52:17 - 00:50:09:06

When I had prayer groups or whatever, I would pray and I would start praying for missing children. It was just on me to pray for missing children, and it would be within the next 8 to 10 hours. They would say they found a child, the news would come out. They found a child. We found this child. This child been missing for two years, but we found a child's alive.

00:50:09:07 - 00:50:33:17
Unknown
Wow. And and the Lord began to deal with me. And he said, okay, well, you see it. Are you going to keep praying? So now, like I still pray for missing children, I pray for people that are holding children against their will. And I'm every time we pray. Julie will attest to this. Every time we pray, there'll be a break in a case in another state or this state where somebody's been holding kids against their will, and all of a sudden they find them.

00:50:33:18 - 00:50:58:09

So you're doing what we would call spiritual warfare in your prayer that ways go, yeah, that's what I would call it. Yeah. You're fighting something spiritual, I think when you pray and the way you're praying. But that's good. That's a big word for me because you you have I would look at you as like a very mature prayer, you know, and so for somebody that doesn't pray at all like that, you could get to that level where we all can try.

00:50:58:13 - 00:51:18:01
Unknown
But it takes discipline. You got to pray, takes it, takes you start again. It's just like, that's right, that's right. So we start with Jesus, I love you. And he'll take it from there. That's right. The Holy Spirit will grow you into what you need to pray for. That's right. And let me tell you something. There is always honor.

00:51:18:01 - 00:51:39:12
Unknown
When you pray. God will. God will use your prayers, and he will reward you for that time you spent with him. And I'll share something else. This is embarrassing, but I know it was the Lord, but I was. It was probably just a couple of years ago. I would fall, I would just go places and I'd fall.

00:51:39:15 - 00:51:57:19
Unknown
And videos of this, I pray not, I pray it. Okay, but I was. It's not funny. I shouldn't make a joke. Like trees come out of nowhere. Just kneel. All right? I would just fall randomly. Fall. Okay. It's like a worm winning.

00:51:57:21 - 00:52:17:15
Unknown
Yeah, right, I would. I was at somebody's house. I walked off their back deck eight, eight foot down and fell to the ground. And I laid there, and I didn't break a bone, but I laid there to get myself together because I had to think what just happened. And I fell off their deck. They never come out. They didn't even know I had fallen.

00:52:17:15 - 00:52:35:12
Unknown
I had to lay there kind of friends. They are and well, they, they, they had a lot of children in the house. But anyway. And then there was other times it was just a season I fell, I would fall a lot, never broke a bone, but I was in, I was hurting and I finally said, God, what? What are you what are you doing?

00:52:35:13 - 00:52:55:11
Unknown
And what I had to get before the Lord. And I said, now you won't believe this. Most people won't believe it. But I got before the Lord. I said, learn the Lord this something should. I went to the doctor and I couldn't find anything wrong. I said, I'm falling. I don't know what it is, but I'm falling. And I'm telling you right now, when I got before the Lord, he said, well, are you going to pray to me?

00:52:55:11 - 00:53:18:16
Unknown
Are you going to spend your time? You're going to waste your time for me. I've called you to pray and you're not praying. Do you know, I was I was praying, but not. You know what I mean? I was just slightly cutting it short. You know how we got out? Well, I started praying and I began to give more prayer time and more prayer time and more prayer time to the Lord.

00:53:18:16 - 00:53:33:16
Unknown
I haven't fallen since, so God used that to get your attention. He has a way of doing. Some people may not believe it, but I believe I I'm I'm telling you right now, I've not fallen since. Wow. So we need to back this car

00:53:33:21 - 00:53:42:05

so what we're going to do is, is we're going to end with a prayer. And I'm going to let Brian do that. But I do want to I want to encourage the people that are listening.

00:53:42:06 - 00:54:06:00
Unknown
Yeah. And I don't want you to ask the question, what did I learn and what I want you to do based on this? What we're studying is, is what will I be? Because James, in this first chapter, what we we talked about is not saying what we've learned, what we have. Obaid in other words, what is our live showing, right?

00:54:06:01 - 00:54:29:00
Unknown
What are we doing? What are we actively doing to show that we're followers of Christ, that we are disciples of his and our testimonies? And I and I saw something that we it was a great poster the other day. And it says, A tree that bears fruit is way down by the fruit, right? The limbs are weighed down.

00:54:29:01 - 00:54:54:06
Unknown
Right. And then there's limbs that don't have fruit, and they're just flailing in the wind. And when a storm hits, which we often have those limbs that are way down there anchored because of the fruit. Right? But the limbs that don't have the fruit, they're breaking off and just flailing and hitting one another. So James is giving us a roadmap of his testimony, right?

00:54:54:08 - 00:55:22:04
Unknown
Right. So we should take it as our testimony. Also obedience, obedience to prayer, obedience to reading the word. Get out there, men. You know, other men that need to hear it. They need mentors, right? We need mentors and we need to show our fruit. Yes. I'm not saying show it in arrogance. I'm saying live it right. I don't need you to post your fruit.

00:55:22:04 - 00:55:46:11
Unknown
I need you to live it right. So if Brian, if you'll end up with prayer. Absolutely. Lord, we come to you this afternoon. We thank you and we praise you for this time that we've had to come here and just discuss your word as Christians and hash it out. And we've talked about a lot of different things. But God, the anchor of all this, is being doers of the word.

00:55:46:15 - 00:56:05:22
Unknown
And so, God, I pray that whoever hears this will get something from it, and it would spark a fire inside of them to want to obey God, the God that they serve. And I pray that you would encourage them and motivate them to pray. That is really one of the core things that you have to do to become a doer of the word is to pray.

00:56:05:22 - 00:56:33:04
Unknown
It's very simple. Hear the word pray and do what the word says. So, God, I pray that you would take everything we've talked about and that you would, that you would use it to motivate people to be doers of the word in even small ways. God that you would as they as they step out on faith, that you would take the little thing that they do and that you would build it up into a great thing, God, and make them great men and women of faith.

00:56:33:04 - 00:56:40:13
Unknown
And Lord. We pray all this in your name, Jesus, Amen. Amen. Amen.

00:56:40:15 - 00:56:56:06
