Speaker 1:

There's no hack, no cheat code, so stop searching for shortcuts because they simply don't work. But there is a path, and it works when you have discipline. That path is what I like to call monk mode. In today's episode, I wanna share what I learned and applied during my time in monk mode and why it's the only way to succeed as an artist. Monk mode is about disappearing and ghosting everyone except your immediate family, and even they don't get to know what you're working on or doing.

Speaker 1:

For 6 months, you keep it completely quiet. This approach requires discipline, and that's gonna be the backbone of how monk mode works. Exercise, a daily routine to keep your body and mind sharp. Diet, fueling your body with the right nutrients and eating correctly, no distractions, eliminating everything that pulls you away from your goals, singular focus, zeroing in on what truly matters, goal setting, defining clear and actionable objectives, consistent behavior, repeating positive habits until they become a second nature in who you are, sobriety, keeping a clear mind free from all chemicals and substances, except for coffee. Taking action, committing to 5 hours of focused work every single day, 7 days a week for 6 to 12 months.

Speaker 1:

No sugar, cutting out the unnecessary, including anything that's in your diet. 2 screens is what I've been told to always work with, something optimizes your workspace for maximum efficiency, and I learned this a long time ago. This is your time to fully transform your life. From now on, you're going to do everything differently unless it's already a good habit. Limit your interaction with social media unless you're using as a tool for learning and growing.

Speaker 1:

Use it to educate yourself about your business, to support your goals, and to discover new tools that will make you even more successful. It can also serve as a source of positive motivation while you work keeping your focused on what truly matters in this life. Ask yourself every time, is what I'm watching benefiting me? Is it helping me get closer to my goals and making me more successful? You have to be able to answer yes to this question.

Speaker 1:

You have to eliminate politics from your life. It's absolutely irrelevant. Soon, you'll realize that all media and even TV is irrelevant as well. Cutting this out will help you to break free from the cycle of short term dopamine hits, and it'll help you to regain your focus. You'll only go out for one reason, to network and to move forward.

Speaker 1:

We are the sum of the 5 people we spend the most time with, so find people who are better than you, people who are already living the life you want. Meet them for coffee, have meaningful conversations, and learn from them and share and grow together. Above all, you have to be honest with yourself and others. The more honest you are, the greater your power and the stronger you become. Aim for 7 to 8 hours of quality sleep each night and cut out all caffeine by 4 PM if you can do it.

Speaker 1:

Get plenty of sunlight and take walks whenever it's sunny outside, especially on really beautiful days. And then on the days when you don't feel that and you don't feel focused, push even harder. Do extra reps during your workout and work an additional half hour on that day as well. This will make you mentally stronger and significantly improve your performance as an individual and as an artist. Successful people are disciplined.

Speaker 1:

They do what others don't wanna do every day. That's the big secret, and there's the magic. I just gave it away. Keep reminding yourself of your time, your goals, and of not quitting ever. Stay focused and keep navigating towards your objectives.

Speaker 1:

Practice gratitude every day and avoid complaining. Focus on your next goal and how you're gonna achieve it and how you're gonna get there. Take a few moments each day to breathe, clear your mind, and stop thinking for a bit. I like to think of it as laying a brick each day until the house is complete. I took my trauma, and I turned it into fuel, and that's driven me towards what I truly wanted in this life, not what the world dictated to me as to what that should be.

Speaker 1:

I transmuted my pain into purpose. Now I don't care how I feel each day because I've developed discipline and drive and the ability to see what others cannot see and what they overlook. If you think you're struggling in your life, then go to North Africa and witness what real suffering looks like, families with no food and no opportunities. Meanwhile, you're sitting in a house with a roof over your head claiming to be depressed while indulging indulging in comfort. Depression in the West has become a luxury, a convenient excuse.

Speaker 1:

Of course, there are those who will tell you it's real because they profit from your misery, but depression is actually a symptom of your body and your mind and your higher self telling you that you need to change, that you're not living in alignment with your true purpose in this life. Unfortunately, a group of weak minded individuals has capitalized on this, turning it into a profit model. They want you to stay stuck because if you transform, they lose their income and control they have over you. The world will see through their pseudoscience system of profits from people's misery instead of genuinely helping them to get better. Stop seeking easy ways out.

Speaker 1:

There isn't one. There really isn't. I know that that's something that's hard for people to hear. What exists is hard work, discipline, and believing in yourself with faith and a higher power, if that's your belief. It doesn't matter what others think.

Speaker 1:

Depression is often a signal that you need to confront your reality and make necessary changes. Are you gonna sit around watching videos that only reinforce your feelings of despair every day? Instead, seek out empowering information. If after everything, you still place blind faith in a system that has failed you, you're only limiting yourself. Monk mode is for those who are ready to face their challenges head on.

Speaker 1:

If you're not prepared to put in the effort and embrace change, then this might not be for you. Now get out and create something amazing today.
