week on the tails of the broken realm?

So previously we left off, uh,
leaving the, um, the cave where we
were, uh, basically going through
the different statues of the gods.
There was a puzzle, um, that we had to
touch the gods based off of a poem we had.
And on the life of me, I don't
remember what it was we got.
Oh, oh, was it The shard we got
from the, the puzzle, if I remember
correctly, um, upon leaving said
cave, um, our brave adventurers
discovered that they were being
watched on the bottom of the mountain.
Um, and our.
Friend.
Um, why am I missing, uh,
grace, your character is, why
do I not have your name down?
We were, we were introduced
to Grace's character.
Um, a fight ensues and we then make our
way to, do I not have my notebook here?
I think this is the
wrong notebook I grabbed.
It's been a day, but we were on the road.
Um, came across several things, namely
our, uh, crypted creature, and then
we, uh, found ourselves at the edge of
a chasm with a rather rickety bridge.
Um, upon crossing this, our, our
brave friend Henry, um, whether
bravely or not, not so much, decided
that he could pull himself up from
the predicament that he was in.
Um, and in a moment of probably trying
to showboat a little bit too much,
told us to fly as he fell down the cave
and proceeded to try to grab the wall.
Um, and Beknownst, unbeknownst
to the party, did survive
his fall as we continued on.
That's all I have in my notes.
That was where we ended.

Y'all made it to the temple.

the forest, um, went across the bridge
to there, the outpost came into view.
Um, y'all went down into the catacombs
of the temple, um, through the
spiral staircase, and then y'all
made it your way to the hall, um,
into the inner sanctum basically.
And now you are approached with the
door, and the door door opened, and
now y'all are fixing to step into the,
uh, basically the next temple area.
Mm-hmm.

Um, for the audience at home, uh, Sam was
not able to make it for this session, so,
uh, I will be playing sham, AKA scam as
the party has already deducted for me.

And is a circular chamber of
marble and polished bra brass
murals of palor laer and dawn
titans stretch across the ceiling.
A beam of pure radiant light shines
from the single opening abo above
and along the walls empty brass
pedestals and stone lenses with
holders and a sealed door lies ahead.
It's framed cards with
images of eyes and suns.
Um, can I do a, you know, perception
investigation, if there's anything around
that would give us any kind of clue?
'cause you, you mentioned
the door is sealed.
Is there anything that would like,
indicate whether there's like a key
of some sort or like what if it's
a combination lock or what if we
can get an idea of how to open it?

should just walk up to the door unless
there's something else in the room
the other two of you want to go to.
Do the lens holders have like
lenses in them or is it empty?

look around for lenses.

put them in the holders.

Um, so you start putting them in
the holders, um, and the radiant
light kind of casts off, um,
towards, uh, Zeb and, uh, Zeb.

into Z's metallurgy on his body as
his head like ducks out of the way.

looks around and realizes there's

that, that you have to put him in
specific areas in the temple itself
to possibly bounce light across.

angled specific ways or can we turn them?

as wherever they need to shine.

with the light and it hits Zeeb, uh,
you notice that the, uh, mural of
payor as they scan across it, his eyes
lit up for uh, about a half second.

I'll be honest, I missed about half
of that 'cause my wifi is too sketchy.
But you're basically, you basically,
as they were messing with the light and
they turned it a certain way across the
mural of Palor, his eyes started glowing
for like a half second before they down.
That helped.
So we gotta Yes.
Point them at, which makes
sense, you know, sun got and all.
Um, okay, well, uh, I guess we can try.
With a different one, try and angle it
towards him and see if it has the same
effect or if not that, then try the other.
Yeah, I can, um, z can walk over
and fix one of the bras, circles
in and move it over towards palor.
Okay.
Um, so there's only one radiant
beam of light coming down.
Oh, okay.
So, so, so imagine it like this, like
there's one beam of light with a lens
near it and then now you're bouncing
light somewhere else to bounce mm-hmm.

So we need to point the first one,
the second one at the third one at the
thing, potentially, yes, potentially.

So who's, um, so we'll call
these one, two, and three.
So who wants to be at each one?

So one will be the one on the
radiant on the radiant beam itself.

see the radiant beam of light
zigzag across the temple and the
last beam hits palo's, uh, chest.
And you notice that his eyes, uh, light
up, uh, drastically and beams of light
come out of his eyes directly at Anya.
And Anya, you need to
make a deck save, please.
Okay.
Yeah, no problem.
Just pulling up.
That's a 14.

Um, experienced you take Okay.
Five damage, radiant damage.
You pass the check.
It's just has half damage.

Is there any the response

Um, so, so the murals, to go back
to the murals, like there's payor
on one side, there's lianda on
another, and then there's mm-hmm.
Dawn Titans, uh, on the across from it,
basically opposite of the, uh, the door.

And do we get the, do we get the
sense that we could reflect those
lights that came out of payor to any
of the other parts of the chamber?

of the other murals, like trial and error?

And then I'm gonna take one for
the team and start reflected.

So you're at the lens,
one at the Radiant Beam.

So where is that gonna be pointed at?
Um, so we only have three lenses, so I
am gonna point the first one, two Palor.
Okay.
And then use the other
two to reflect his lights.

Where's his light gonna go?
Uh, to Laer and then the Titans I suppose.
Okay.
Alright, so you zigzag.
So basically everyone else
is up against the wall
as you're, as you're pointing
lights and getting them in position.
Uh, you first point, the one at
Palor, the same reaction happens
of you seeing his eyes glow and
the light shines down on where Anya
was standing prior on that lens.
That lens is now getting reflected
back to Laer and Laers Shield
starts glowing in runes around it.
Um, and on top of that, it's Runes
point, a radiant beam at the third
lens to the Dawn Titans on the
opposite wall that y'all walked in on.
Or on the wall that y'all
walked into points that way.
And then it's Dawn Titans that are
holding two spears in a shield are
now moving their spears together
and it points a radiant light at
the doorway across the temple.
And you hear a stone crumble opening up,
letting the, uh, letting you know that you
successfully defeated the trial of light.
Guys, I don't know about y'all, but
I feel perfectly fine doing this.
You luck is astounding.

next room is a long, narrow corridor
ending at a second sealed celestial gate.
From the prior, uh, a raised
platform at the far end bears an
inscription written in Celestial.
And along the wall you could
see a glowing circle, uh, marked
in Celestial script as well.
Uh, what does it read?
Second read Celestial.
It reads on the inscription on the far
wall, uh, to pass into the sacred flame,
one must first leave the light behind
one.
Okay.
And then the, uh, circle, glowing
circle marked in celestial
script, uh, along the wall.
It, it reads the, uh, watcher's seal.
Right.
I relay that.
Ask them to the sacred flame
one must leave the light behind.
And then you said the,
what was in the circle?
Uh, watcher seal.
Watcher seal you,
um, you know, I once heard this
incredible tale of, uh, a cave in which
two lovers met within a secret tunnel.
Um.
That required a lack of light to
reveal the answer to the way out.
So perhaps we recreate
that particular moment.
Um, what, what light is
coming into this room?
There is, uh, there is no, uh, light other
than the celestial script that is glowing.
Basically, the rooms that are glowing,
somebody's been watching Avatar.
Listen, I watch Avatar every
year, so that's all yearly.
That is my yearly watch.
I sit there and watch through 60 episodes.

it through the freaking Canyon episode.

in a, a circle on the wall.

but like, there's nothing that you
could, y'all can walk up to it if you
want to and see if something Yeah.
Um, if something happens, seeing as elene,

And touch it.
So you, you touch the seal and you
notice that when you touch the seal,
um, it almost gives you a vision
in your head of a, uh, a, a inner
sanctum with an altar piece and a,
uh, a glowing, um, circular device
is at the center of the altar, Barb.

And the door starts to crack
open just a little bit.
Uh, and, and that was just
from her touching it, that
something we saw earlier.
I was gonna say, do we
still have that or with me?

A post credit scene is just gonna be
Henry crawling out of the cavern or
the, the, the, you know, the ravine.

with almost perfect acoustics.
Uh, the walls are covered in divine
script and depictions of various
gods, some known, some forgotten.
And at its center, a stone
altar with six glowing brasier.
Each unlit
or braziers, not brasier brasier
bras like, wait, wait a minute.
Unlit bras.
And then you said, you said to
around the walls were some that
we knew and some we didn't.

Um,
do we see anything that we
could light the, the braised?
Oh, I'm already getting messed up.
Um, the brazier's width, like
other than magic, like, could,
is there, are there like torches
laying around or anything like that?

looking before you enter that they
obviously are, um, they go hand in hand.

dome above perfectly in your ears.
