The South Rail Systems Alliance (SRSA) has achieved a significant milestone in the construction of the new Cambridge South station, completing a crucial phase of track and overhead line upgrades.
Working over an eight-day possession, the team delivered a complex program of improvements, including realigning 1.5 kilometres of track for the new loop line and renewing overhead wires. Alongside those improvements, the team also commissioned nearly 3 kilometres of the new PL track and overhead line equipment.

Hong Kong Metro operator, MTR Corporation (MTRC) is setting a new standard for sustainable transportation with its latest railway projects. Seven new stations under development have been awarded "BEAM Plus" Provisional Gold or above certification.
Additionally, MTRC is collaborating with The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology to develop software that quantifies the carbon of new projects, further aiding in low-carbon construction practices.

Danish State Railways (DSB) has unveiled the first of its brand-new Talgo 230 intercity trains. These state-of-the-art trains are set to revolutionise journeys between major Danish cities like Copenhagen and Aarhus, with the potential to extend their reach to international destinations like Hamburg, Germany.
Built by Spanish rolling stock manufacturer, Talgo, the trains boast a top speed of 230 kilometres per hour and an operational speed of 200 km/h). It is expected the improved speed will improve journey times between key cities in the region.
