How do you know what to get? How do you know what form to get? How do you know much how much to take? Kinda depends. It depends on what the purpose is, doesn't it?
Speaker 2:It sure does. Well, one of our favorite types of magnesium is magnesium glycinate. Yep. It's very bioavailable.
Speaker 1:So your detoxification process might be like bouncers in a bar. And so if the bouncers in a bar see someone come in that they know is going to be problems, they're gonna keep an eye on it first. But let's say that person comes in and starts drinking a whole bunch.
Speaker 3:Now monazurumas revenge is a fancy term for travelers' diarrhea, and oftentimes that can come from contaminated food or water. And the water in the area is very important to ensure that you are
Speaker 1:Let's go.
Speaker 2:Magnesium is a very popular common supplement on the market. Magnesium has many, many, many health benefits, and there are a lot of different types. Today, we wanna dive into the different types and how they may be effective.
Speaker 1:You said many, many, many. That's three. Are there more than three types?
Speaker 2:There are more than three
Speaker 1:said maybe many, No. Many, No. No. You know, magnesium is known as the great relaxer as opposed to the calcium, the great constrictor. So that tells you right there that magnesium does the opposite sometimes as calcium, but it's critical for over three fifty reactions in the body.
Speaker 1:That's a lot of stuff, at least as we know of, probably more. Including making energy and help you go to sleep at night. Yeah. Even helping you, well, eliminate your stool too. That's important.
Speaker 1:So, you know, there's multiple types of magnesium. When you go to the store, how do you know what to get? How do you know what form to get? How do know how much to take? Kind of depends.
Speaker 1:It depends on what the purpose is, doesn't it?
Speaker 2:It sure does. Well, one of our favorite types of magnesium is magnesium glycinate. It's very bioavailable, meaning that it gets into the system very, very readily, and it does a lot of usable work in the system. It is something that we recommend highly right before going to bed because it does help not just those muscles relax, it helps the brain relax. So it aids for a much better night sleep.
Speaker 1:It does. And magnesium glycinate, just so you'll know, it's magnesium that's bound to or another word for that is chelated, c h e l a t e, bound to the amino acid glycine. And that's just a carrier, but these magnesiums, the names of them are typically what they're bound to as a carrier. But magnesium glycinate, we use it a lot. Personally, I take four fifty milligrams before bed, and I find that it helps me quite a bit.
Speaker 2:Magnesium threonate is another blend or type of magnesium that is not only bioavailable, but it is one of the types of magnesium that can cross the blood brain barrier. It has been used in post concussive syndrome or, aiding neuroprotection and also decreasing anxiety.
Speaker 1:Yeah. A lot of times you have these magnesiums that are good for the nervous system or anxiousness or relaxation. They'll typically have threonate in there as well. So this is another one that you can sort of use maybe interchangeably or in addition to the glycinate form at night.
Speaker 2:Magnesium malate. One of my favorites. I'll use a lot of magnesium malate or recommend a lot of magnesium malate in high performance athletes or athletes in general or
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:People who are just looking to get a good workout or people that need a little bit of extra energy. Magnesium malate is one of the types of magnesium that, of course, is very bioavailable. Why is that important? It's because you want it to get into the system. Right.
Speaker 2:And it goes down to the little powerhouse of the cell called the mitochondria, and it aids in the production of energy, also known as ATP.
Speaker 1:So that's a big deal because that magnesium is bound to malic acid. That makes it more of an energy enhancer as opposed to an energy, depleter perhaps. So we might use that one in the morning sometime.
Speaker 2:One of our other very common recommendations is magnesium citrate. Well, why would magnesium citrate be of benefit? Magnesium citrate aids what's called the peristalsis or the motility action of the bowels. And there are a lot of individuals that have chronic constipation, or they come in and they call it plumbing issues. And one of our first go to's is that magnesium citrate.
Speaker 2:And magnesium citrate does say, well, how much should I take? Magnesium is usually titrated to tolerance, meaning once your bowel start to move or if you start to get a little bit of excess loose stool, you have found the threshold of that magnesium citrate.
Speaker 1:So magnesium citrate is magnesium bound to citric acid. And again, that does cause a relaxation in your bowels. It helps cause them move faster. If a person, specifically ladies out there most of the time are constipated, you can take magnesium citrate every two hours to dose up until the bowel is loosened. Remember what you use and the next day use the same amount in total and you'll find eventually your magic number of how much to use.
Speaker 1:That can be something to correct and even prevent constipation.
Speaker 2:One thing we forgot to mention about a little bit of magnesium glycinate is it is very beneficial in that time called PMS. Helps relax those muscles of the lumbar spine, kind of eases the system down, and that time of the month can be much more gentle.
Speaker 1:Yeah. There's there's a whole bunch of there are magnesiums. Probably could talk about magnesium nortate, magnesium oxide, magnesium taurine, or acetylthorate. So these things are always up there and out there. But bottom line is magnesium is so beneficial.
Speaker 1:Find the right form, find the right amount, and make sure you're using it appropriately because many people out there, including maybe you, are deficient. Are you tired? Are you worn down? Do you hurt all the time? Do you have GI issues?
Speaker 3:Your toxic load is killing you. And it doesn't have to.
Speaker 1:Just ahead.
Speaker 4:Can a shake transform your life?
Speaker 1:If it helps you invest in your health on a daily basis, the answer is Yes. Kingdom Fuel is our complete nutritional meal shake.
Speaker 5:It's the simple start to a transformed life.
Speaker 1:We'll auto ship every month so you don't run out.

Speaker 2:Now we have it, kingdom crunch. It's important to start breakfast off with a power packed punch. You want a complete amino acid score, good protein. If you turn the label over and look at the back of the box, there is no added sugars in either one of these flavors, either peanut butter or acai bowl.
Speaker 1:Peanut butter has 11 grams of high quality protein. Acai bowl has eight. Peanut butter has 11 grams of carbohydrate, osseo bowl 12, and both of them have a good solid fat content at six grams. Very filling, very healthy. You will be fueling yourself with high quality fuel starting off the day right.
Speaker 2:You can even use kingdom Crunch as a snack in the middle of the day if you just have a craving and you wanna eat something that is good for you, it has a crunch and doesn't have a lot of calories.
Speaker 1:There you go. Diabetic friendly, keto friendly, paleo friendly, kingdom crunch, and Child friendly. Kingdom candy with a k again. Two flavors. We got salted These caramel and peanut are great.
Speaker 1:I mean, they're
Speaker 2:They're kinda like a complete meal.
Speaker 1:Yeah. They're 200 calories. People wanna know that all the time. And not that we're worried about calories, but these things have great ingredients. They're not sweetened with sugars.
Speaker 1:They don't have those false sugars or fake sugars, artificial sugars.
Speaker 2:Fiber in them.
Speaker 1:They do. It it's interesting. Salted caramel crunch is our newest flavor. We'll come up with some other stuff at some point, but those can bridge the gap of that sweet tooth craving. They're sweetened with monk fruit.
Speaker 1:That's really if you know what that is, it's not gonna raise blood sugar.
Speaker 2:It's really only two grams of sugar. I refer to it as the
Speaker 7:sweet without the cheat.
Speaker 1:Any of these things out here are designed to be money saving, nutrition giving, and life enhancing. And this is a big deal. So you'll find out like thousands of other people did that these things will help you live healthy longer.
Speaker 2:I don't know about you, but I have to have that cup of coffee in the morning. And Kingdom Coffee is mold free, it is pesticide free, and it is organic. It's got this flavor that is delicious. You don't even have to put cream or sweetener in it.
Speaker 1:And it's kingdom cup with a with a k. Right? The so this is important. 50% of all coffee at least
Speaker 2:At least.
Speaker 1:Contains mold. And this is a key thing. That's in bean form. Right? So you're gonna be a little grinder.
Speaker 1:There's just a few bucks. Grind it up, put it in your maker, and make it. Why do we go with the bean form? The whole bean. Because ultimately, the powder form is the one that gathers the most moisture, and that means the more potential mold development.
Speaker 1:So this is actually organic mold free certified. It's got a little certificate with it. That's important because ultimately, people drink coffee. It's cultural. And so we tried to, meet the culture where it is and create a healthy alternative.
Speaker 3:We often get asked about what is metabolic detoxification. Well, it's in a very important process that happens in your body. It happens at the level of the liver and kidneys and many other places as well. However, at the level of the liver and kidneys, we know that there are many genetic enzymes that come into play there. And some people, if they have weakness in these enzymes, they don't detoxify as well.
Speaker 3:And you get this great explanation about a bouncer in a bar.
Speaker 1:Oh, I knew I knew you were gonna go there. So detoxification might be better said biotransformation. So it is the process when we have a toxin that shows up in the system, whether it's generated within or it comes from the outside. So once the toxin is recognized by the body, we have phase one, two, and three, but let's translate that with using the bar analogy. So your detoxification process might be like bouncers in a bar.
Speaker 1:And so if the bouncers in a bar see someone come in that they know is going to be problems, they're gonna keep an eye on it first. But let's say that person comes in and starts drinking a whole bunch, then becomes a real problem. Well, there comes a point in time where the bouncers are gonna say, enough's enough. You, my friend, have got to go outside and leave the bar. In this case, the bar is the analogy of our body, the bouncers would be the detox elements of our system, and of course, the drunk now would be the toxin.
Speaker 1:So phase one is recognition of the toxin. Phase two is this conjugation where the bouncers would go grab the dude. They grab the conjugation part. And then phase three, they go outside the door with them. They eliminate them.
Speaker 1:They take them outside. So we need to understand that there's toxins everywhere, and we want our body to recognize them efficiently and be able to expel them as needed so that we don't have them staying around in, you know, bar analogy, breaking dishes, breaking glass, causing fights and disturbances within the body.
Speaker 3:So the the great thing about it is is if we run someone's genetics in the office, we can see where there's either a weakness or where we need to support it with these things called cofactors, as we've talked about before. And cofactors are simply nutrients that get added to the system that help these enzymes run better. Well, we've developed something really, really cool, and it's called Kingdom Detox. Kingdom Detox and Kingdom Detox packets. What's in those detox packets that makes them so special?
Speaker 1:Well, in those are the supporting nutrients, the supporting micronutrients, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that support all the functions of phase one, two, and three detox. And if you put those in the system, your system has the material. It's got the bouncers, and the bouncers have energy to do what they need to do. So that's what those detox are for. We put those together just so our body could have the supporting cast to be able to sort of protect our system, if you will.
Speaker 1:If people wanna do like a whole kingdom detox, it also has kingdom fuel with it. So you can do a whole two week detox process with the detox packs, or you can just take the detox packs. Either way is fine, but it's gonna support that process.
Speaker 3:So the body's completely nourished. It gets a little bit of rest because it's not having to overdigest, so to speak, and it gets the right nutrients that support those phases.
Speaker 1:Well, totally. And we need to understand we live in a toxic world.
Speaker 3:For sure.
Speaker 1:And there's toxins everywhere today.
Speaker 3:And our body makes toxins as it's trying to just eliminate on a daily basis.
Speaker 1:But people don't understand that the medications are toxic, the substances in processed foods are toxic, some of the substances we just breathe, some of the substances we put on or in our skin or something like that are toxic. So we're bombarded with this persistency of an environmental toxin that comes at us all the time. So the toxic is going to or the toxic load is very heavy. So our job is to reduce the load. And so that's why I think everybody needs to do a detoxification process three or four times a year and certainly consider using detox support packets all year long because we just can't get away from toxins today.
Speaker 3:And we absolutely do a detox. In fact, we're on day 10 of a detox right now. We do it to support the community, to support our patients, and, of course, to support our own bodies.
Speaker 1:So if you're suffering from fatigue, you feel like you got toxic overload, if you know you got toxic overload because you bring bringing in stuff that's actually inflammatory and toxic, it is time to get some answers. It's time to turn things around. It's time
Speaker 8:to get your body in a
Speaker 1:place where it can function again because toxic buildup can and does and will kill you. So we gotta get the toxins out and let your body function well again. That's why the kingdom detox process works.
Speaker 3:Going traveling overseas, what to watch for and how to avoid.
Speaker 1:All that coming right up. Kingdom candy with a k again. Two flavors. We got salted caramel and peanut butter. These are great.
Speaker 1:I mean, they're They're kinda like a complete meal. Yeah. They're 200 calories. People wanna know that all the time. And not that we're worried about calories, but these things have great ingredients.

Speaker 1:It's got a little certificate with it. That's important because ultimately, people drink coffee. It's cultural. And so we tried to, meet the culture where it is and create a healthy alternative. I remember a time when I traveled to the country of Mexico.
Speaker 1:Man, did I get ill. Some said you had Montezuma's revenge. All I know was diarrhea and headache and felt miserable. But travel illnesses are real. And indeed, there are specific ones that we need to be aware of.
Speaker 1:And also, there's some things we can do to prevent those from happening. So let's really deal with this. We like to travel, so this is something that we've actually talked about before.
Speaker 3:Well, and it is important to know what is endemic in the area that you're traveling to. Now, monazurumas revenge is a fancy term for travelers' diarrhea, and oftentimes that can come from contaminated food or water. And the water in the area is very important to ensure that you are drinking and even using clean water to brush your teeth with, because if the faucets are not clean and clear on the backside, you can end up sick just with simply brushing your teeth.
Speaker 1:Yeah. And we've had that happen before too, you know, even ourselves. It can be something as eating fruit that's been washed in the native water. Right? And and it's certainly the the greatest mistake people can make is brushing their teeth.
Speaker 1:So it's gonna sound weird, but you you take a bottle of water and you pour it on your toothbrush. Right? And then you brush with that, and then you rinse it off with that, and you dry it off with a paper towel or a towel. But don't even rinse it off with that water because you're gonna get sick. Now, it's interesting.
Speaker 1:You go to different countries like that, the parasitic bacteria activity in in our bodies, they're they're actually different from country to country and culture to culture and place to place. So when you get there, it might not make somebody there sick, but it will make you sick. And they could come here, obviously, and get the same type of issue with that. So this that's a good tip.
Speaker 3:Well, and you oftentimes want to travel with the preventative measures in case you do get sick while you're overseas. And for Manasuruma's revenge, that would be, of course, taking the appropriate antibiotic, perhaps Pepto Bismol or even something that can help calm the tummy, like a probiotic, so that if you're out of the country, you have some resources without having to go to a medical center while you're away. Other areas you may want to think about, some areas are full of mosquitoes.
Speaker 1:Oh, yeah. Mosquitoes can bite you, and mosquitoes do what? They they they stick their little claws, grubby things into your blood, and they can go take that and deposit that in another person. Pretty neat. I I thought about something while you're going through that that I think is is good for a preparatory thing.
Speaker 1:And it's right here, immune support packs. You know, like this has a lot of the, zinc and quercetin and a and c and d in it. So we created these things with the idea that people could do one of those things a day as a preventive, but you could even do two a day as sort of dealing with an acute infection. And we've had those work tremendously over the course of time. So as recently as a couple of weeks ago, somebody was going abroad and I said, Okay, want you to go two a day for a week and then take enough with you one a day while you're there.
Speaker 1:And then when you get back, finish the rest out. And it worked great. No sickness.
Speaker 3:I think that is brilliant because even as we moved through the pandemic, this immune support pack was one of the tools that we to get people who even had pneumonia back on track quicker and they recovered faster taking the packets than those who did not.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and probably a thing that we should discuss is the idea of vaccines. Lot of people have a weird connotation to that today and fine, whatever. But when you talk about
Speaker 3:We not anti vaccine.
Speaker 1:We're not. We've been very adamant about we are anti people not having the choice to make decisions. And then we're anti judgment on people that do make decisions to get criticized by somebody else. It's your call, your lie, do what you want, be informed. Informed consent is what you need.
Speaker 1:Informed, meaning look at all sides of the coin. Consent is yours, no one else's. And the bottom line is that sometimes the immunizations are good when you go to an area like some part of Africa might have something that's that's native there that if you go, you're going to get infected. Everybody else has antibodies, you don't. So that's some of the benefits of immunization before you go to a place like that.
Speaker 3:That's right. So you want to check with your health department and ensure what is endemic in the area and get immunized before you go, or in cases like malaria, you will actually pre treat with a certain antibiotic before you go while you're there and for a number of days upon your return. And of course, if you get sick and your symptoms do not resolve within a week of coming home, make sure you reach out to your healthcare provider to ensure something is not still staying around.
Speaker 1:Well, that's really, really, really good advice because, like, here's the thing. We like to travel. You might like to travel. We don't need to travel in fear. We need to travel with preparation, travel with information, and travel with the knowledge to know what you need to do to prevent things.
Speaker 1:Start off by doing the basics, immune support packs, and then reach out and find out what sort of viruses or bacteria are present in the area endemically and prepare accordingly. And then most importantly, when you travel, have a good time. Make some memories, but don't let your memories be sort of distracted with a bunch of sickness like Montezuma's or binge. Maybe you don't have to have that. And I think that this will give you some really good insightful information to travel safely and and have a great time and take a lot of pictures.
Speaker 1:You can even send them to us if you want to. We'd love to see them. If you're suffering from fatigue, if you know you got toxic overload because you bring bringing in stuff that's actually inflammatory and toxic, it is time to get some answers. It's time to turn things around. It's time to
Speaker 8:get your body in a
Speaker 1:place where it can function again because toxic buildup can and does and will kill you.
Speaker 3:Kingdom Detox and Kingdom Detox packets.
Speaker 1:In those are the supporting nutrients, the supporting micronutrients, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that support all the functions of a whole Kingdom Detox. It also has Kingdom Fuel with it. You can do a whole two week detox process with the detox packs, or you can just take the detox packs. Either way is fine, but it's going to support that process.
Speaker 3:So the body's completely nourished. It gets a little bit of rest because it's not having to overdigest, so to speak, and it gets the right nutrients that support those phases.
Speaker 1:So we gotta get the toxins out and let your body function well again. That's why the Kingdom Detox process works.
