January 1, 2024 (Monday)

10am: Coffee with half & half, onion and arugula scramble, hot breakfast sausage, leftover cornbread, half a can of Buchi kombucha, orange slices, apple fritters from Ingles, and half a can of Oktoberfest beer at Matt and Liz’s house in Hot Springs, North Carolina.

3pm: Pesto and pepperoni pizza and a pour of Highlands Brewing Gaelic ale from Vinyl Pies Pizza in Hot Springs, North Carolina.

January 2, 2024 (Tuesday)

9am: La Colombe coffee with half & half, made at home.

11:30am: Grilled pepper jack on olive oil toasted pan de cristal, made at home.

1pm: Seeded crackers.

7pm: Chicken and orzo soup, made by Brian, and two milk chocolate Dietsch’s pretzels.

January 3, 2024 (Wednesday)

9am: Leftover coffee with half & half.

10:30am: Grilled pepper jack on olive oil toasted pan de cristal, made at home.

1pm: Seeded crackers.

6pm: Rigatoni, cabbage, and kidney beans in a riesling and lemon butter sauce, made at home.

8pm: Two dark chocolate Dietsch’s pretzels.

January 4, 2024 (Thursday)

9am: La Colombe coffee with half & half, made at home.

11am: Grilled pepper jack on olive oil toasted pan de cristal, at home.

2pm: Frozen Korean vegetable dumplings, pan fried with soy sauce, made at home.

6pm: Spicy Big Tray Chicken with rice noodles and broccoli, made at home.

8pm: Half of a See’s chocolate Santa.

January 5, 2024 (Friday)

9am: Leftover coffee with half & half and two scrambled eggs with pepper jack cheese and sriracha, made at home.

1:30pm: Leftover Spicy Big Tray Chicken with rice noodles and broccoli.

6pm: Cheese tortellini and kale beef broth soup with olive oil, and garlic butter pan de cristal crostini, made at home, and a small pour of Staffelter Hof 862 riesling.

7pm: Dietsch’s chocolate creams.

January 6, 2024 (Saturday)

9am: La Colombe coffee with half & half, made at home.

10:30am: Leftover Spicy Big Tray Chicken with rice noodles and broccoli.

1pm: Leftover tortellini soup with pan de cristal olive oil crostini, made at home.

3pm: Dietsch’s chocolate creams.

6pm: Tagliolini with basil pesto, parsley, riesling, and shrimp, made by Brian, and a small pour of Staffelter Hof 862 riesling.

January 7, 2024 (Sunday)

9am: La Colombe coffee with half & half, made at home.

12pm: Leftover tagliolini.

1pm: Dietsch’s chocolate creams.

2pm: Cheez-Its.

6pm: Baked shells with kale, sausage, and ricotta in a red sauce, made at home, and a glass of Musto Carmelitano Maschitano Rosso.

January 8, 2024 (Monday)

8am: La Colombe coffee with half & half, made at home.

12pm: Two sunny eggs with butter and sriracha over toasted sesame pan de cristal, made at home.

3pm: Cheez-Its and a cup of Throat Coat tea, made by Brian.

6pm: Leftover shells and Dietsch’s chocolate creams.

January 9, 2024 (Tuesday)

9am: La Colombe coffee with half & half, two sunny eggs cooked in butter with sesame seeds and black pepper, olive oil toasted sesame pan de cristal, breakfast sausage links, arugula with olive oil and balsamic, and Secret Aardvark hot sauce, made at home.

1pm: Leftover shells with black pepper ricotta.

4pm: Dietch’s chocolate creams.

7pm: Tonkatsu, broccoli with fried garlic, chiltepin cabbage slaw, carrots with sweet soy glaze, and scallions, made by Brian, and a small pour of Tucher Helles.

January 10, 2024 (Wednesday)

9am: La Colombe coffee with half & half, made at home.

11am: Sesame and scallion egg, pepper jack cheese, and sriracha on olive oil toasted sesame pan de cristal, made at home.

1pm: Leftover shells and Dietsch’s chocolate creams.

6pm: Shells with bacon, purple hull peas, arugula, chiltepin, and parsley in a lemon butter sauce, made at home, and a handful of Cheez-Its.

January 11, 2024 (Thursday)

9am: Leftover coffee with half & half.

10am: Two sunny eggs with scallion and sesame and grilled pepper jack cheese and sriracha on olive oil toasted pan de cristal, made at home.

2pm: Cheez-Its with hummus and Dietsch’s chocolate creams.

6pm: Beef stroganoff over buttered parsley egg noodles, made at home.

January 12, 2024 (Friday)

8am: La Colombe coffee with half & half, made at home.

10:30am: Leftover stroganoff.

1pm: A handful of Cheez-Its and hummus.

6pm: Leftover stroganoff and egg noodles.

8pm: Half of a See’s chocolate santa.

January 13, 2024 (Saturday)

10am: La Colombe coffee with half & half, a sunny egg cooked in butter, breakfast sausage links, arugula with balsamic and olive oil, and olive oil toasted sesame pan de cristal, made at home.

1pm: Cheez-Its.

7pm: Beef tenderloin with jus, mashed potatoes, green beans, a slice of oat bread with Kerrygold butter, mixed greens with Olive Garden Italian dressing, a glass of Staffelter Hof 862 riesling, a cup of coffee with half & half, a slice of chocolate chess pie with vanilla ice cream, mozzarella with tomato, basil, and balsamic glaze on a toothpick, cheese and prosciutto roll-ups, pepper jack cheese on Ritz crackers, a small pour of Musto Carmelitano Maschitano Rosso, and two cosmos and Brian’s parents’ house.

January 14, 2024 (Sunday)

9am: La Colombe coffee with half & half.

12pm: A leftover piece of tenderloin with mayonnaise.

3pm: A can of Blue Moon light beer.

5pm: Chicken katsu, vegetable and shrimp tempura, shumai, crab rangoon, miso soup, agedashi tofu, seaweed salad, and two specialty sushi rolls with shrimp tempura and spicy salmon at Mr. Tokyo in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
