honestly jamie needed a whole bag herself

after last week yes i'm struggling so um

well we already have fergie's question of

the week and it's for jamie

Would you rather lose control of your

stomach or teach an entire class that has

lost control of theirs?

Lose control of my own stomach for sure.

No doubt.

I mean,

I would lose control of my own stomach

if I was teaching a class and everyone

did.

Right.

Yeah, so we are back,

and actually our producer's on her way in.

Her laptop just restarted, of course,

right as she did that.

So don't forget to get your chocolate

thirdsy.

You can get it at thirdsy.com backslash

jazzy that gets you fifteen percent off or

use promo code jazzy at checkout and it

does the same thing there were some issues

last sunday with the code that has all

been rectified and the code works

beautifully and people have taken

advantage of it over the last week so

make sure you get yours um so catch

up uh nfl's back

uh detroit got a little more than i

think they bargained for today holy smokes

it feels like a loss it feels like

a loss but at the end of the

day it's still it's still a win it's

gonna show us a win but holy smokes

that one was a tough one to watch

but i have i have corey in the

chat here who i know is a saints

fan

It was probably not thinking the same

thing on the other end as the saints

came all the way back to take Detroit

to overtime.

Detroit scored on the first position.

The saints scored on the second.

They decided to go for two and the

win, which I love.

Yeah.

I love that so much.

But Tyler shook through it out of the

back of the end zone.

I thought they had it for sure.

I mean,

he was able to make every throw that

he wanted.

I was like, Oh, they got it.

crazy uh the texans gave larry uh chest

pain and i don't i don't know which

team carolyn's picking this year i don't

know if it's forty niners or buffalo i'm

in there both i know so right now

i'm gonna go for both one of them

starts getting hot i will pick that one

whatever one's going further in the year

and if they can meet in the finals

that's best case scenario

I'm a win-win type person.

I'm good.

And the Bills gave Larry chest pains when

they beat the Texans today.

Hi, Bears.

I've never had a team score that many

touchdowns in a game.

I don't even know what to do with

myself.

They scored eight touchdowns today.

Eight.

Fifty-nine points.

I know.

I saw.

What?

It was so fun to watch,

but their defense is so bad,

they almost had to score that much just

to win the game.

Or Bryce Young has gotten a whole lot

better.

Let's hope it's the latter,

but I don't think it's that.

I think it's that our defense is really,

really bad.

Yeah,

I feel like our defense is not good.

yeah that's points on yeah it doesn't

totally matter you just better score like

every time you have a ball well we

you know we have ben johnson who was

the lions offense coordinator when they

scored all the points all the time and

their defense couldn't stop a soul right

so i don't know if he's just brought

that whole mentality to chicago

But I am so used to a great

defense with absolutely no offense.

It has been crazy.

Clock,

I've calculated that the Bears will have

to score eighty-six points to win the NFC

Championship and ninety-eight to win the

Super Bowl.

I believe those calculations.

Apparently strip sacks are no longer a

thing of the Saints on defense.

I didn't watch any football today because

when I got home, so we,

we did this celebration basically of my

season so far or the games.

Cause I was away all summer.

Yeah.

And then last weekend I went home for

the long weekend.

So this is the first weekend I've actually

been here.

But then when I got back,

I watched the tennis match.

Did you guys watch the U S open?

Have you guys been watching the U S

open?

See, that's what I watched today.

I watched.

The finals with Ben and the German.

Forget it.

He's the break number one.

So I used to watch tennis all the

time,

but I was way more a women's tennis

fan than a men's because there's more

volleying.

The men just hit such hard shots and

it's over quick.

It's not exciting for me to watch.

I love it.

They're so athletic.

And like,

I'm just looking at the way they're moving

on the court.

Like it's, I love that sport.

yeah i woke up this morning they were

announcing the winning prize five point

five million i was like damn there's so

much money and we picked the wrong sport

yeah tennis and golf both yeah like it's

ridiculous and then one's a lot harder on

the body than the other yeah f i

watched f-one this morning i woke up early

to watch the spanish grand prix

I think Max Verstappen is making a hundred

million dollars a year now in that sport.

Lando just,

Lando just signed an extension.

I'm sure it's close to that being the

world champ.

But not actual races, right?

Yeah.

I don't even know how that works.

So I, yeah,

I just know that that's what he,

Max makes about a hundred grand a year,

a hundred million a year.

Sports is busy right now.

And then USA beat France for women's

basketball.

So the World Cup there.

Just so much to watch.

I love it.

I love it.

I love it.

I love sports.

Not Lando Calrissian, KDL.

That is only for geeks who are into

Star Wars.

Lando Norris,

the McLaren driver in F-Wars.

uh scott at our age golf is probably

a better choice to pick up i played

a lot of golf in my younger days

that you think crossfit is frustrating

like not throwing my clubs with success

for the day i think i played golf

last weekend for the first time in a

couple years um

and i find eighteen is like long to

play yes nine's the perfect amount yep by

the time you get to like hold twelve

thirteen you're like if you don't have if

you're not like having a great day you're

just kind of over it i love playing

a nine nine hole game is great i

used to play four or five times a

week but nine in those times just because

it was a quick

a couple hours I find I tweak my

stroke so much during the course of a

round that ending at nine is good for

me because then I stop tweaking and I

just move on with my day so Jamie

you went to see Pitbull I did Thursday

night went and saw Pitbull it was

incredible and you are still recovering

today yeah I don't know I'm just sick

but I mean maybe that got me run

down I don't know

All the people.

Yeah, Lil Jon was the opener.

I would have been satisfied just watching

him.

It was so good.

Lil Jon was the best part?

I mean, they were equally as good,

but I was floored after Lil Jon.

It was like graduating high school,

basically.

It was just like going to the club

back in the day.

Yeah.

It was just so hype.

When Little John comes on the radio,

I can't lie.

I get so hyped.

And I got to hope there's no cops

around because I'm probably going AD when

he comes on.

But the same thing for Pitbull for me.

Those are like my two guilty pleasures.

He has good hype songs.

Yes.

There's a lot of them on my playlist

when I do open workouts and stuff like

that.

No, he's got some good songs.

Did he bring the East Side Boys?

No.

But Lil Jon came back out towards the

end of his set and they did a

few together.

That was the highlight.

And Nicole came with me.

It was like a forties women hype dance

party.

There was...

Fourteen-year-olds and seventy-year-olds.

It was... It was crazy.

And so many people...

I didn't even realize, like,

that people go and, like, they had their,

like, black slacks, white shirt, and,

like, tie, and then, like, the bald head,

like, things over their hair.

Like, so many people dressed up.

Mr. Worldwide.

One concert I want to go to is

Celine Dion.

I've been seeing Celine all over my

Instagram all day because she just came

back and did her first concert.

I think yesterday.

I've heard nothing but good things about

Celine Dion and cancer.

I just want it.

So me and Lex were talking.

We're like, are we going to France to,

to go see one of her shows next

year?

So then I started looking at dates and

I was like,

maybe I just escaped for a weekend and

go to a Celine concert.

so i learned a long time ago i'm

not good at a concert that's that's like

a lot of slow music like i went

to see chicago it was really bad like

i just wanted it's great it was great

music i just it's not my kind of

go to see a concert and so i

just learned that a long time ago but

i did want to tell you something i've

been excited to tell carolyn this all day

And so I bought tickets yesterday to go

see Rocky in concert.

So for the fiftieth anniversary of the

original Rocky movie,

they're going to show Rocky on a big

screen in a theater with a live orchestra

playing the soundtrack.

Oh my God.

There's so many parts on fire.

No easy way out.

You're going Rocky four.

This is all next one.

Okay.

Rocky one is the fiftieth anniversary.

But what songs do you like?

Well,

there aren't very many like singable songs

from the original Rocky.

That's why it's an orchestra playing it

because it's all that like,

but when he's boxing and he's training and

all the pump music,

can you imagine feeling the orchestra of

that?

Yeah, it's going to be powerful.

Like that's going to be so freaking cool.

Yeah.

Where is this at?

So I'm actually going to the land of

Andrew Sten down to Cincinnati.

It's the closest it came to Columbus.

So we have to go down and get

a hotel in Cincinnati for afterwards.

But it is.

I am so stoked.

I feel like I need to get Ronica

tickets for that.

Oh,

you wouldn't even be able to keep her

in the seat.

I know.

Like,

I love Rocky and she makes my fandom

look like peanuts.

Yep.

Speaking of the training montage,

I don't know how to say that in

English.

Montage.

It's a French word.

The training montage is Rocky IV,

you guys.

I know.

That is not the fiftieth anniversary.

Did you see the one Polar made for

Raptus?

I actually,

that was part of this conversation because

it kind of meshed in.

And so I have the screen share.

I love that.

Anytime there's, you know,

that scene from Rocky, I'm all for it.

I love it.

So Raptus doing the hanging sit-ups off of

the box, and he puts a side-by-side.

I love this.

And now it won't go.

There we go.

You can't hear the sound.

Well, I don't.

It's copyrighted music.

I can't.

Oh, okay.

Sorry.

Play up to seven seconds.

Okay.

Are those ginger shots?

Is that what that was?

Like a turmeric ginger?

Yeah.

Yeah.

anyway pure gold this is incredible yeah

it is uh thank you Fergie that is

one of the songs from the original Rocky

that is the that thing by the great

Bill Conti see Fergie gets it

None of this Rocky IV stuff.

Yeah, it was great for training montage,

all of that stuff.

Carolyn's on mute so I can keep talking.

Because my computer keeps making a little

sound,

so I've been trying to mute in between

when I talk so that you guys don't

hear the little...

But the Rocky IV soundtrack is by far

the best one.

For like a pop music soundtrack,

I had it on CD.

I listen to it all the time.

I love it.

No Easy Way Out is like my favorite

song of all the Rockies,

but

The storyline of Rocky I is take away

the training montage and the rock music

and all that stuff.

The storyline,

the storyline about a guy who has

absolutely nothing and is given the

opportunity to have something.

But going to Russia and your best friend

died in front of your eyes.

Your best friend?

That's a stretch.

Okay, your train partner, everything.

Everything.

And you're going to Russia and you're just

given nothing to train compared to his

training.

Come on now.

He won the crowd over.

It's great.

It's great.

All right.

Yeah, rival.

Apollo was his rival.

It's a friend rival.

Come on now.

A friend rival.

Yeah.

Yeah, that's the line, Larry.

That's the line.

I can't beat him.

What are you saying?

I can't beat him,

but if I go the distance,

nobody's ever gone the distance with

Creed.

Yeah, that's the line.

And then my wife always messes up the

line when Mickey says,

you're going to eat lightning and crap

thunder.

My wife cannot get that right.

The stuff that Rocky eats and craps is

all over the map with my wife.

so anyway i'm so excited for that uh

i i happened to see it on instagram

that they were doing it and then i

had to like dig and find tickets and

the closest place was coming was

cincinnati so that's where i'm headed it's

about two hours to downtown a little

farther than i thought good well the

problem i'm saying two hours because it's

going to be heavy traffic when i go

in to do that

Um, if there's no traffic,

it's probably an hour and a half.

Yeah, that's about it.

That's kind of what it is, Corey.

You're going to eat rain and crap

tornadoes, stuff like that.

Shannon,

we're going to get into all that stuff

later for sure.

Um, the last thing, uh,

I finally have caught up on most of

my TV.

Oh, thank goodness.

I did not watch Reacher yet from this

week.

But I watched all of them.

Why didn't I let you guys talk about

all these?

But I'm caught up on Lioness except for

tonight's episode.

Same.

Caught up on everything.

But this week's Reacher.

Dang it.

I really wanted your reaction on this one.

You've already watched one from like

Thursday.

You were at Pitbull.

Yeah.

When did we watch it?

I don't know.

I think we watched it Wednesday night.

Isn't that when it comes out?

Yeah, whatever, that night.

I think we might have watched it Wednesday

night.

Yeah, I didn't.

I have not watched it yet this week.

I love Five solely for Mickey.

Get up, you son of a bitch,

because Mickey loves you and I didn't hear

no bell.

Yeah, I like that line.

I like that part of Five,

but Five is such a train wreck.

I think Five's the worst one.

By far.

Yeah,

I think five is the worst one they

made.

I wish they didn't make that one.

Yeah, because I like all the creeds.

I like Rocky Balboa that came after five.

I just do not like five.

I still watch it occasionally,

but I watch it more for how bad

it is, not for how good it is.

Guys, I hear all the poop gate stuff.

We're going to get to that later.

Trust me.

But the first thing I want to talk

about in the CrossFit space is what a

Palooza is this coming weekend.

Crazy.

That crept up fast.

Yeah, it did.

Three of the four teams have totally been

announced.

I don't get why they're waiting.

I don't understand why they're waiting.

Is someone not confirmed?

Are they keep changing someone?

Why wouldn't you release the rosters as

early as possible to get people in the

seats?

Or people excited to go see this athlete

or that athlete?

Makes no sense why we don't know the

roster yet.

I think they don't know.

But even the proven ones,

if you knew what they were,

just release them.

Well, they're released.

No, those ones,

but like it still took a long time.

I think they, honestly,

what I think Waterpalooza was trying to

do, and I respect this,

is they're trying to keep excitement going

leading up into the event.

It gives them something to release that

people want to pay attention to,

so it doesn't escape your mind that it's

coming.

So I'm okay with them doing a slow

release on it, but this outcasting,

that's the one we all want to know

about.

Right.

Right.

And we've been waiting for it because

that's the one.

Like,

we kind of could predict the other ones

to some degree.

I was shocked at some of the brute

ones.

Yeah.

For sure.

Agreed.

And we can pull them up and go

through them real quick.

Yeah, do that.

I have them, Vicky,

so I can pull it up real quick.

So Training Think Tank was like the first

one, and it's got Noah Olsen,

Chandler Smith, Travis Mayer,

Hannah Black, Annika Greer,

and Lydia Fish.

I think that was pretty predictable.

Right, correct.

Then we go to Proven.

Ricky Garrard, Jay Crouch, Colton Mertens,

Kyra Milligan, Maddie Sturt,

Olivia Kerstetter.

Not a single surprise in the batch there.

We go to Brute,

and here's where the surprises kind of

get.

And that's Emma Lawson, Eileen Wurz,

Janie Chevre, Jason Hopper, Dallin Pepper,

James Sprague.

i think the men that's who it should

be of course i i'm wondering like did

amy kringle say i just need a break

and i think i think that's what her

coach said um well she's got she's focused

on rogue wfp now and she just came

off wfp so i don't think she wanted

to do that one it's a lot of

travel for her haley adams didn't want to

do it

That's who I'm surprised didn't pop in

here.

Right.

Yeah.

And then Austin on the other side.

I'm wondering if Austin isn't going for

outcasts.

Right.

And that's why Haley's like, well,

if Austin's not going, I'm not going.

Well, Haley has also been doing, I think,

something for Red Bull.

I think she was like in India or

something.

I forget where she is.

Yeah.

don't know where she is right now she's

traveling and doing something i think for

red bull so maybe she hasn't been training

as much it still amazes me that haley

is not doing wfp as a red bull

athlete that's a good point yeah is red

bull like giving money uh like to wfp

or they just i think so yeah they

are do you did you say do you

think they're giving them money

Yeah.

Like, are they like a major, like,

I know that they're,

they always have their tent for the runs

outside and, and when we go through, like,

is that like the main besides like the

main investors,

like that's our main sponsor, isn't it?

Right.

Well,

So I heard the first year that both

Red Bull and Adidas were more of like

product giveaway sponsors.

And then I've heard,

and none of this is confirmed.

This is just what I've heard in a

rumor mill, is year two,

both companies decided to make a financial

investment.

And it was in the seven figures for

each of them.

Wow.

But I do not know that for a

fact.

That is all rumor.

So I want that to be clear.

The OutKast team,

what we know so far is Danielle Brandon,

Justin Medeiros, Ellie Turner.

We don't know the other three.

I feel like Ariel has to be there.

I agree.

But Ariel's in the same situation as Amy.

She did games, did WFP,

has to do Rogue.

Yeah, good point.

Ariel doesn't have to travel all the way.

Across the ocean, yeah.

And Ariel's very good friends, I think,

with Danielle.

I'm sure with Ellie as well,

but I know she's good friends with

Danielle.

I see Ariel being on that team.

Yeah.

Ariel's a bit like James, though,

that she likes to compete.

She's ready to compete, yeah.

Right.

She's going to do what she can for

as long as she can.

For sure.

I don't think she's someone that would say

no to an opportunity like this.

So they've been slowly releasing the

workouts as well.

The first one was Robbo.

I think we talked about that a while

ago.

It's Rob Orlando tribute workout,

which is the thirty clean and jerks at

three hundred and two hundred.

And now that we're, like,

seeing the teams, I'm, like, looking at,

you know,

Olivia versus Hannah on the woman's side.

Don't think that the Brute have a female

that can even match anywhere close to what

those two are going to be able to

pull for their teams.

So, like,

I think just on the female side on

that one, Brute's third.

Yeah.

Is there four teams?

Four.

Yeah.

Who am I missing?

Well, you're missing...

TTT.

TTT, yeah.

We had the Proven Brute.

The OutKast team.

And OutKast.

Yeah, and OutKast.

Yeah,

I guess I don't know who's right for

the three hundred, or for the two hundred,

but yeah.

I mean, that's a cool workout.

Yeah, I like that.

Vertigo is the four-time,

ninety-foot handstand walk,

each conga style.

Twelve-nine alternating legless rope

climbs, ninety-foot handstand walk each.

of nine alternated being like legless rope

climbs,

a ninety foot handstand walk each and then

twelve nine alternate rope climb and

another handstand walk and I rollers or

high ballers, high ballers.

You, you go,

I go pairs alternating full rounds of

fifty synchro wall balls,

fifty synchro box jump,

thirty five synchro wall ball,

thirty five synchro box jump,

twenty synchro wall ball,

twenty synchro box jump.

And I and I do I mean, J.R.

has been very clear that he wanted he

wants there to be a team component to

this.

And it's pretty obvious on some of these

for sure.

The way team workouts are written are so

much more confusing to read.

But I know that they're going to be

a great show and visually it's going to

be awesome when you see it.

But when you just at a first glance

are reading, you're like, okay,

what's going to happen in this?

And then you're trying to visually see how

the races are going to be.

I don't think it always translates to a

great show.

That's what's difficult about the team.

But listening to JR speak about each one

of the events on, um,

I think it was a Pedro on coffee

pods and wads order.

Yep.

I could start like,

I could start seeing what the workout was

going to look like way better than how

it was written when he was like actually

explaining and diving in deep on each one

of those.

It was cool.

Now we have shoulder season, four-time,

forty-two chest-to-bar pull-ups, thirty,

twenty-four calorie row,

eighteen overhead squats,

forty-two pull-ups, thirty-eight,

twenty-four calorie row,

eighteen overhead squats.

Time cap, ten minutes.

Then we have bagged and tagged.

Round one for time,

twelve-nine ring muscle-up,

three sandbag over the yoke.

Top eight move on.

Round two for time,

twelve-nine ring muscle-up,

three sandbag over the yoke.

Top four move on.

Round three for time,

twelve-nine ring muscle-up,

three sandbag over the yoke.

And you're done.

Bring in a little bit of the rogue

elimination style.

Yeah.

like that in a team competition yeah i

actually like the elimination style it's

just weird in the middle of a competition

yeah because the best are pay for it

in this in this particular one you could

have three training think tank or three

whatever group proven in the finals yep

like you just keep going

The thing that's interesting about this

one is the weight goes up right for

the sandbag.

And like a lot of times,

some of the stronger athletes,

they struggle in the early rounds when

some when other people that aren't could

probably not even do the last weight.

Let's just say, for instance,

it's a snafler.

You have to be so fast and some

of them don't move as fast,

but they would be better on the later

rounds.

But they have to actually make it there.

right so that'll be the interesting part

is seeing them race in cycle speed of

the ring muscle ups and the sandbag and

seeing if the strong athletes are able to

make it through those cuts because then

after that they're going to be better at

moving the heavier ones i think everyone

can move the heavier ones but i'm just

saying in general those early rounds are

tough

So then we go to two minutes of

fame.

It is trio one, six synchro bar complexes,

two athletes,

max rep worm thrusters and remaining time.

Trio two rest worm,

twenty two hundred and eighty pound,

two hundred and eighty two pound time cap.

Oh, two hundred, two hundred.

What the heck?

I don't know what that is.

I can't see it.

Two hundred and eighty-two pounds is what

it looks like.

Oh,

the worm is two hundred and eighty-two

pounds.

Yeah.

Okay.

And then trio two, I guess,

does the same thing.

It better be two hundred and eighty-two

and not two hundred and eighty.

Jeez.

It's got to be that precise.

It's got to be, I don't know.

Then echo on Diane.

I think we've seen different versions of

this, um,

fifteen alternating rounds for time,

five rounds per athlete,

nine strict deficit handstand pushups,

nine, seven calorie echo bike,

nine deadlifts.

This is going to come down to those,

um,

strict deficit handstand pushups for sure.

Yup.

And who has them on broken cycle speed

there.

men doing echo bike for nine cows and

the female for seven like the men just

do that so so fast they can just

sprint those yeah so i'm gonna take a

break from this and hit hit a couple

questions uh corey leonard asks better

social media colton or ariel not even

close ariel that's not even in the same

ballpark to me yeah i i think they're

both great i'm sorry jamie i talked over

you

His is really good, but I do agree.

I think the nod goes to Ariel.

It's not even close.

It's close.

The amount of creativity, originality,

the editing that Ariel does.

Colton's not even the same.

We're not even talking the same thing.

He comes up with some clever stuff.

He surprises me.

No, his stuff is good.

But Ariel is amazing.

It's she's the best.

She has hit a groove for sure.

And she definitely is more consistent with

hers.

Yes.

I don't get how she doesn't have more

followers.

I don't know.

Did you see the,

I think it was Tyler Watkins did the

thing where Hiller's video with Heidi

actually has over a hundred thousand views

and it's, it's in and he,

and Tyler's a big barstool sports guy and

he was comparing it to Boston with the

boys, which is a big sports podcast and,

And they only average about one hundred

and twenty five thousand views.

So Hiller is really like almost competing

into mainstream stream sports media.

And so we may be closer than we

think to like achieving that.

I need to watch all the whole thing

of Tyler's.

I wasn't able to get through it all

with all the football games today,

but I saw a good chunk of it.

And yeah,

I just thought it was an interesting look

at, you know,

we're always like they're way up here and

we're down here and,

and maybe the best of our,

of what we have can compete on when

they put together a product like killer

did with that.

Yeah.

Eric Mackey says,

just glad we get to watch all elite

teams.

Any discussion thoughts,

everything going paywall next year.

um i'm not supposed to go to the

paywall though i i think it has to

go to a paywall at some point because

they're not getting sponsors yeah i

understand that but like if your biggest

thing is how do we compete with these

mainstream sports

You're not going to get viewers.

That is the one way that we're never

going to attract anyone.

But you're fooling yourself if you don't

think that those mainstream people are

behind a paywall.

To watch anything on ESPN,

you either have to buy their app or

you have to pay for cable or some

kind of streaming service.

And Flow Elite, aren't they allowing...

Let's say like a competition like crash to

actually give higher prize money as well

to the athletes because it's behind the

paywall.

So it's also going back to the athletes

too.

Like,

I just think it's a natural progression.

It sucks.

Cause like you don't want to pay,

but at the same time,

if you're a true fan,

like they'll just do the subscription.

It's a little expensive when you just want

to watch one comp every few months.

I wish that there was some sort of

weekend subscription versus a monthly.

I really want Holy to figure out something

that you can just pay for the comp

ten bucks.

Because I think that would work.

It's the monthly one that is just the

annoying thing.

Yeah,

and they would know their return on

investment or what to...

So the one thing that Flow does have

that a lot of people don't take advantage

of is they have a pause button.

So you can buy the subscription for that

month,

watch the event you're going to watch,

and then put it on pause.

And when you do that,

then they offer you lower priced versions

to come back.

Um,

there is a way to kind of game

it.

I thought you meant like the live,

you can pause the live.

Okay.

Pause your subscription.

You can actually pause your subscription.

Okay.

Immediately after the weekend.

And you still have it for the rest

of that month.

Cause you paid for that month,

but you don't have to pay it.

Like if next month there's no events,

you don't have to pay for it.

But I do agree.

I think the pay structure could be better.

But we are one of twenty five sports

on Flow Elite.

And it would if to change that,

they'd need to change their whole pricing

approach for all of those sports,

not just ours.

Why not just charge through YouTube?

Because YouTube can be manipulated in so

many ways, the views, the counts,

all of that stuff,

so you don't really know what your

investment is.

And Flow can actually sell advertising on

their channel.

They can go out and get their own

advertisers and sell it on their own

channel.

where YouTube controls all of that.

Plus, if you do it through YouTube,

YouTube takes thirty five percent of

everything paid to them.

So.

So, OK.

All right.

I think that was everything I wanted to

address after shock.

Okay, fifty calorie run, each co-ed pair,

forty synchro worm facing burpees,

three work at a time,

thirty synchro kettlebell goblet squats,

four work worm style, fifty calorie ski,

each co-ed pair.

That's for...

the first ten minutes, I think.

Then the next ten minutes for time is

fifty-calorie run, forty-synchro,

warm-facing burpees, three-work.

So it's the same thing, over,

and then twenty-one for time.

At the twenty-one minute mark,

it's the same thing one more time.

Are they using, like, an air runner here?

That's what it appears.

This is the hard thing about our sport.

Trying to describe to people like all the

events quickly, like just doesn't happen.

You know, like you go and do, Oh,

what are you gonna do at the competition?

Well, on the first work,

I'm going to do fifty Cal run this,

this,

this is the next time I'm going to

do.

Yeah.

Agreed.

It's so hard to explain our sport and

the events we're about to take on.

and they wouldn't even understand like no

you can't just explain it to somebody

because there there's just no following

that like we're reading all of these and

like to someone if you were to like

even try to explain anything it's that

makes no sense um

Pay-per-view fitness racing, bold choice.

Here's my answer to you, Corey,

because you've actually said this to me.

Watch an event and see how empty the

seats are.

Maybe if they charged,

more people would show up to the live

event because it's the only way to see

it that way.

People are not showing up, period.

The one thing you're going to find out

real quick is who is truly committed to

this sport or not.

And you're going to know real quick

whether it's worth investing anything into

this sport because you're going to know

those numbers.

You're going to know if more people show

up live.

You're going to know all those things

right away.

And maybe for once we just stop lying

to ourselves and we figure out what the

track of this sport is and we right-size

it to whatever that might be.

I don't disagree with this either.

I think they're overpriced.

Correct.

I think the ticket prices at live events

are way, way, way overpriced.

When it's more than a college football

game or an NFL football game to go

to the CrossFit games, that's ridiculous.

Because people won't shop also after.

They've already spent everything to just

make it there.

So the vendors aren't making any money.

There's no wins.

um okay did we do modal madness uh

part one female one female female one male

one unbroken sets of five ten fifteen

twenty twenty five etc triple unders then

four time female two male two max

handstand hold from press out

Then, four-time female three, male three,

eighty-foot dumbbell Curtis P relay,

which is dumbbell clean, two lunges,

shoulder to overhead.

Curtis P's make me want to vomit.

I don't like Curtis P's.

I've never done them with dumbbells.

I've only ever done them with a barbell.

I've only ever done them with a barbell,

too.

so we're seeing who figured out the triple

under huh if you watched um dalen and

hopper on i think it was on maybe

on hopper's youtube channel they were

doing like a a gymnastics skills pig like

you know like you pick an event and

Oh, yeah.

Like horse?

Horse, yeah.

Or pig is the right.

Yeah, they were going for pig.

But they were practicing a lot of the

press to handstand hold and stuff like

that.

Jason was really good at them.

Jason was definitely better than Dallin at

the inverted skills there.

That's Carolyn's computer, guys.

She told you that question.

yeah carolyn's fan is clicking something

underneath her computer they can they just

all want they think it's a percolator they

all want coffee now it's fine a little

late for coffee um then divide and conquer

for time co-ed pairs waterfall style beach

run

Uh, one ton move.

So just like the years past at SoCal,

you have to move all the stuff from

one end of the beach to the other

end of the beach and then into one

ton move as a team.

So move it all back and all athletes

wear a five, eleven vest time cap,

thirty minutes.

I love this one.

I always like watching these,

this one that's when they do it.

I like to see how many things people

can hold and move across the beach.

at one time i highly suggest that people

at one time i highly suggest that people

watch the like watch the like

the podcast that jr talked about all of

these workouts because everyone that

you're describing like now that i've heard

him talk about them i can visually see

them so i think like having that in

your mind before watching it this weekend

could be good so it just helps understand

some of these team workouts because

they're just written differently and

you'll understand who's on the play and

how they might strategize that so highly

recommend you go check that out because it

was a good um podcast

And I think JR put a lot of

time into programming the team side.

Oh, yeah.

He really thought everything through and

styles of events and people on the floor,

total volume.

It's a really good listen.

I always like listening to JR speak about

programming.

I always let you two with that stuff

because, to me,

as a spectator and just a spectator,

I just want to see them.

do the test what the test is for

me doesn't really matter but i know there

are programming geeks that want to know

all the programming and that's what i like

about this show you guys can worry about

the programming i worry about like who's

watching and all of that stuff but um

so what are you excited to see at

socal and do you have any predictions for

the finish

It's hard to do when we don't know

the full outcast team.

I really wish I knew.

Yeah.

I wish I knew the full outcast team.

Cause I think they might have a shot.

I don't know.

I it's tough.

Cause like the, the, the group boys,

I think you would give them the nod,

but I think their team is just weaker

with the girls.

So I kind of,

I kind of would lead towards the proven

team overall.

Some of these workouts seem really geared

towards like Olivia.

Yeah.

with it being so team dependent,

my prediction is it's proven to win

because they all hang out together.

They do those camps together.

They're always together.

They're always working together.

They all know each other.

I think this, I just,

I think that's going to be a huge

advantage in this style of team workout.

But then that also like makes me think

about training think tank

and the amount of times that they train

together and the boys.

Now,

I don't know where Chandler's hamstring is

in terms of health coming off the WFP.

I think he'll be fine.

It'll be basically...

How long after WFP is this?

About a month?

So I think Chandler should be fine.

I mean,

those boys have trained together and run

many, many team workouts,

and I think you have someone like Lydia

who is...

very well-rounded, extremely fit.

You have specialists in different types of

movements in Anika and Hannah.

So I'm very curious with that team.

Like a lot of people are counting them

out,

but I think that they have a lot

going for them in different workouts.

I'm excited to see them.

I agree.

Depending on who's on OutKast,

I could see TTT pulling off second.

Yeah.

I think they can upset.

I honestly,

I'm going to say something that nobody's

going to agree with,

but I think TTT could pull off wins.

Like...

Oh, yeah.

Because there are things that Chandler is

really freaking good at.

There are things that Travis is really

freaking good at.

He's probably one of the best with the

wall ball.

Oh, yeah.

By far.

And Noah's great at things.

He's perfect team athlete.

I would say Noah's biggest weakness is a

weekend.

Like the games just at some point he

would make some stupid error or poop out

because he went out too hard or something

like that.

Yeah, exactly.

KDL,

I think you are just looking at names

and this is a team competition.

I agree with Terry.

Dallin will definitely not sell his soul

this year.

No rhabdo this year?

I don't think it's...

I know he knows it's not worth the

rest of his season.

Where did he get his rhabdo?

On that bike.

At SoCal.

But is it really on the bike?

That's like... It was in his kidneys,

it was in his arms.

What did he ever say?

I never heard.

Because like...

Yeah,

the bike might have been the thing that,

like, tipped him over.

But, like,

I've had rhabdo once in my life before,

and it was in my arms.

Yeah.

But, like, that was, like,

Mary workout was the last thing that kind

of caused it.

But it was, like,

the dehydration from the six K rough run

that we had that, you know,

there was many things that led.

So I don't know if I would put

the whole thing on the echo bike.

Shana says legs.

That's what I said.

Yeah.

Cool.

Not cool, but like...

Shana actually heard quads in particular.

Interesting.

I can see it.

That's not one that you hear as much,

like as frequently.

I'm excited to see the events, period.

I love when it's a team because I

do think that you go harder to not

disappoint your teammates sometimes.

And I think that's why we saw Dallin

with Rabdo,

because he was willing to push to limits

that he wouldn't for just himself.

That workout is brutal like he did last

year.

That's the disgusting workout.

What I think what's crazy is he did

it the year before.

So then it's not only disgusting.

You've done it before.

You know how horrible it is.

What I like for this year is that

there's four teams.

I think that'll make a big difference in

terms of the races, I hope.

Because what was it last year?

Was it three or two teams?

Just the two.

Because in a two-team race,

like if someone's ahead,

it's not as fun to watch as if

the team is just dominating.

Right.

But with four teams,

I think you're going to have, you know,

the order is going to shuffle,

and I think the leaderboard could be very

interesting and close throughout the whole

weekend.

So looking forward to that.

Do I know if Shelby Neal is done

competing?

I do not know.

She go back to school or continue like

work or something.

She work in it that she Yeah,

I thought.

I don't know.

I really just don't know.

Yeah.

So this is on Flow Elite as well?

Waterpalooza?

Yep.

I heard Waterpalooza,

like the age groups and stuff,

but not the elite teams or whatever.

So it's going to be like the game.

It's on Flow,

but it's not behind the paywall.

Unless you're age group.

The elite teams are public.

Correct.

Got it.

Are there a lot of age groups?

Is there like every age group in the

games or are they like condensed in like

ten years or something?

I think it's just like their Miami version

for the community.

Now I think they do a lot of

more teams throughout the age groups than

they do individual for this one.

But it's very much like a full-on

community event with just the elites there

to kind of entertain at times.

So the next thing I had is Rogue.

I skipped one, sorry.

Tia.

Tia has a new documentary from Tier.

Carolyn, I didn't even know it was out.

I saw the trailer but never saw the

full thing.

And then I watched it first thing this

morning when I woke up because Carolyn

said it was so good.

It was really good.

It's one of those where it can be

taken two different ways, in my opinion,

and I'll let Carolyn talk.

I think it can either be a tribute

to what she's accomplished or

preparing for what's to come and it's very

typical of a tia video when we don't

know but like in multiple times in it

she says you know the season starts soon

and like if you're done competing you're

not even talking like she's like next

year's season is starting like if you're

done competing you're not even really

talking about that type of stuff and just

to hear her talking about talking about

you know, she's missing, she's fearless.

Like nothing scares her because she's

basically done it all.

Um, well, she did say like,

she's missing that type of like,

I think challenge or like,

she's someone that needs challenges and

we'll be like, Oh,

you don't think I can do it.

I'll come back and do this.

You know?

So I think she's just trying to find

her way.

She got really like, just, yeah,

it was honest in some of her answers

and how she's done over the years.

I really liked the documentary.

Um,

i think the thing that come back i

think the thing that i found striking in

it was that she doesn't feel normal if

she's not doesn't have some kind of fear

of something and for a long time that's

what crossfit was and the different like

could she come back from giving birth that

was a fear

It's all of that, like,

she always has to have these things that

make her uncomfortable,

I guess is the best way to put

it.

Not fear,

but give her uncomfort that she needs to

have in front of her to make her

feel normal.

And so the question is,

is CrossFit enough to do that these days,

or does she have to find that other

thing that puts her in that uncomfortable

space?

Well,

don't you think that's why she went and

did the Pyrox?

Yeah,

like she wanted that world title there.

Yeah.

Well, and she did Olympic weightlifting.

She did bobsledding.

Like,

don't forget all the other things she

dabbled in along the way.

And so it all,

it all matches up with what she said

in this video.

She's always looking for that thing to

make her feel uncomfortable.

And that's what makes her feel normal.

And she talked about just like how heavy

it is, just like on her shoulders,

like just the expectations of

That we basically put on her that anywhere

she shows up, she's supposed to win.

No matter what.

I like the analogy that Shane used about

sitting at the dining room table and

everybody at the table wants to say they

beat her in something,

whether it's this one event or cause

nobody's has beat her at the,

the whole thing,

but they all want to sit at the

table and say like Lucy Campbell can say,

I beat her in X event.

Right.

Right.

And Shane was like, but Tia,

the pressure on her is she doesn't want

to let anybody win any of the events.

And that creates a pressure for her.

And nobody else in CrossFit has that

mental.

Matt did.

Other than Matt and her,

nobody has had that mindset.

Just hearing her speak,

her mindset is just so different, I find,

than...

the other woman that we like compete

against.

And like,

she even says how much she's changed over

the years, um,

in terms of her own mindset.

And yeah, it's just, it's just,

I liked it.

I just like hearing her talk.

Like she's just the best in our sport

that we've, you know, we've ever seen.

So just seeing her speak and her talk

through her journey, I think it's,

I don't know.

It's something that, uh,

She's inspiring in that way and our

champion in our sport.

So try to see what she's doing.

So the very end of the video,

and this is not a spoiler because it's

actually in the trailer as well.

They ask her if she's going to come

back and it ends with her kind of

like giving a smirk to the camera and

then it fades to black.

That's the part I didn't like.

I am so tired of the trolling.

It's just been done, Tia.

If you're coming back,

just tell us you're coming back.

I agree.

There's no way she would let Tia be

that announcement.

Tia doing that video,

if it's going to be an announcement,

it's going to come from her.

She'll be in control of that release in

terms of her channel, I think,

versus any of her sponsors doing it.

I feel like she'll wait.

I think she is such a big star

in this space that her doing it with

Tear is still her doing it.

I agree.

And they can co-own the piece.

So it shows up on both of their

YouTubes, right?

Only Shane knows.

I don't think Shane knows all the time.

I think he knows.

But he didn't know the one year.

He thought she was retiring after the one

games.

He told people that she was retiring,

and then she didn't.

Because that was her plan.

But I think two months later when she

starts training and he sees her training

and he sees just the look in her

eye, he knows she ain't finished.

I don't know.

The way that Amy dominated this year,

like, is that going to be enough to,

to drive her this year in training?

Cause like, you know,

if she does need that, that fire, that,

that challenge,

she probably as the competitor that she

is,

didn't even like people even thinking

about any comparison of Amy to her this

year.

Like for her,

I'm assuming Amy is not even in the

same sandbox.

you know, which I mean, no one is.

So I wonder if she took any,

even if she like,

there's no offense to her because of how

much she's done.

Like she'll use that as fuel in her

training and then possibly come back next

year.

Who knows?

Who knows?

I'm just over the trolling.

I agree.

I would wish you would just say.

If this was her first time,

it's like Brett Favre every freaking year.

It was, am I staying?

Am I retiring?

Am I going to sign with a new

team?

That got real old too.

I just hate that.

One time,

I'll go on the ride with you,

but now this is like time three or

four.

Come on.

That's my biggest problem with it.

I thought it was a good documentary.

I thought it was worth a watch.

I liked the mindset pieces.

I liked how they talked about different

things.

But the last minute just pissed me off.

Fair assessment.

I agree with Larry.

Tia is such a beast,

but even MJ got old.

Still great, but also gets harder.

She hasn't competed in two.

If she comes back,

she will not have competed for two years.

That's just, that is a lot.

Time is undefeated.

I say it all the time.

At some point, you're going to lose.

She's in her thirties now, right?

Yes.

I believe.

Thirty-two or thirty-three, I think.

Maybe Vicky can look it up for us.

I agree, Scott.

Just say it.

Yeah, you're you are right.

Thirty three.

So probably thirty four next season ish,

maybe.

It doesn't last years.

No, no.

I don't think that puts her out of

her comfort zone.

She will be thirty-four at the next games.

So that would make her and Ariel the

same age, right?

I think.

Or maybe Ariel's a year younger.

Ariel might be a year younger.

And she was the old lady.

Yeah.

She took that for me this year.

That was me the year before.

A couple other quick hit announcements.

Rogue has announced a replacement for

Alexis Raptus.

Alexis even though she's doing the Rocky

training montage is not able to compete at

Rogue she withdrew and now Kyra Milligan

has taken her place officially at Rogue

that's good I'm glad they went on the

off the qualifier list they've done that

the last couple years that if someone

withdraws they go to um

to the leaderboard which i like because it

doesn't uh yeah it's just better puts a

little bit more emphasis on the on the

queue tia won't stop till she is

considered the undisputed goat over

froning and fraser i think she already is

great i i consider that

Froning never won in this dominating

fashion.

Matt just didn't stay as long.

I think they have very similar dominating

fashions of winning.

Matt's... I don't... Matt...

The only thing you can say – so

Tia beat Katrin.

Tia beat Annie.

Tia beat Sam.

All of those.

She beat Cara.

Like the top females in the sport in

her time,

she beat every single one of them.

Matt never beat Rich.

Rich did beat Matt.

but i don't know i just you line

them up and tia can say i beat

you all um uh rich made it a

lifestyle matt was dominant but didn't

stay as long as rich

So the GOAT,

when we're talking GOAT at this moment in

time, I am talking GOAT on the floor.

If we go off the floor,

Rich has a whole lot on his resume.

And I will always consider Rich the GOAT

in the male division for sure.

I think it's really questionable adding

Tia into that mix because they both not

only were great on the floor,

they both have been great off the floor.

Tia has a gym in Nashville.

She has a gym in Australia.

She has started a whole camp.

Rich has all the same stuff as well.

I think it's a pretty tight race between

the two off the floor.

But on the floor,

I think Tia has some beat.

The next thing is WFP has announced a

replacement.

Apparently not publicly,

but Bill Leahy got an invite to the

finals in Copenhagen.

I learned this on the barbell spin.

And it is assumed that he is taking

Quinn Robinson's spot.

Not Pat?

Or was Pat outside?

Pat was already outside.

I think he was in the mid-thirties.

He had slipped down.

Yeah, that would be twins.

Yeah.

Okay.

So that's happening.

That's great.

Right that Quinn's having like that peck

one.

Is that a long rehab?

I don't know what the final diagnosis was

on it.

I know it was is not great.

It wasn't like the best case scenario,

for sure.

And I do think it was going to

require surgery.

Yeah,

I know it's going to require surgery,

and I think he's having it sooner.

I saw it in his story at one

point or post,

but I just don't know what the rehab

process is like for that.

If it's like, I mean,

it can't be as much as the Achilles,

I'm assuming, of Pax, but maybe it is.

I don't know.

Surgery on Tuesday.

Oh.

But I think it's great for Bill to

get an opportunity to compete on the big

stage again.

I think he's made incredible strides over

the last year or two.

And this is just another step in the

right direction.

And one of the reasons why WFP is

a great option for a lot of athletes.

If he would have competed in Tour Stop

One...

And I know it was hard because of

where it was placed in the CrossFit game

season.

If he would have done that,

he would have made it no questions asked.

He was up there with James and all

the top athletes at WFP Indianapolis.

Bill is tight with James, right?

I think you're getting that mixed up with

Tudor, maybe.

Is she thinking like Tudor's tight with

the group, like James?

I don't know about Bill.

I don't know about Bill.

I don't know about Bill.

I feel like Bill just trains mostly on

his own.

Yeah.

Yep.

So I don't know who Bill is tight

with on the men's side,

like on a daily basis.

KDL, you know who Bill is.

It's William Leahy IV or whatever.

William.

But I'm just going to call him Bill.

Yeah, Tudor and James.

Tudor and James live fairly close,

so they can...

They've known each other since they were

in the teen division.

Dallin, James,

and Tudor all are from the same area

of the country and all competed as teens.

Tudor was one year younger than the other

two.

And so Tudor actually looked up to the

other two and then they became friends for

a long time.

And you still hear James talk about how

he wishes only good things for Tudor when

they're at competitions and stuff.

All right.

So now the topic everybody's been wanting

to talk about.

Poopgate,

There it is.

Vicky is so fast.

The one thing,

if the poop gate's going on,

this Clydesdale isn't going to have his

tongue out.

Just saying.

So poop gate at High Rocks.

The champion of High Rocks.

Not the champion of height.

There was an event that went down.

The woman that won actually crapped her

pants.

I don't even know how else to put

it.

During the race,

ended up finishing the race anyway and

winning the entire competition.

This has stirred up a tremendous amount of

controversy because people following her

would have a...

Rower seat that had poop on it or

apparatus with poop on it.

What about the cleanliness?

I'll let you guys talk first and then

I'll give my opinion.

Carolyn's turned it back over.

Jamie's not saying anything.

I mean...

It's, I don't,

I don't think I could ever do that.

I, and I know,

I know friends like from my running days

who peed their pants while running.

Like I just,

I physically couldn't do that.

Like I would have to like stop moving,

sit there and think about it just to

go.

So it's just wild to me that.

Like the bridesmaids just kind of slowly

go away.

And just stay in the middle of the

street under the wedding dress.

That would be Jamie going through it.

Yeah.

Oh, no, it's happening.

Yeah.

So I hate to say this,

but I agree with Larry.

From the athlete's perspective, I'm like,

well, I already shit myself.

If they don't stop me,

I'm going to finish.

People do marathons frequently.

Different, but...

Question.

For the Elite Fifteen,

they're the only ones on the race.

For the Elite Fifteens?

I don't think so.

I think other people are on the course.

During the Elite Fifteens, really?

I think so.

I thought it was just them.

And I'm like,

so when she uses the rower,

because she's first,

they would just take her out.

I didn't watch any of it.

I just saw the social media stuff.

I mean,

I've definitely seen Hunter having to deal

with passing.

Clearly not the Elite Fifteen runners.

Okay.

But that might be like men's doubles or

something.

No?

No.

In his personal races.

I'm pretty sure there's other...

other than just the fifteen people like

there's other heats that go off around

them so at some point there's other people

on the floor maybe it's more just in

the running and never in their station um

but which would make sense but there's

gonna be people running around them and

then if there's people that started after

them that are coming through on the floor

the what is wild to me is the

spitting is a penalty that's wild to me

like if you put a penalty in place

for some for

bodily fluids i just it shocks me that

someone didn't come out and be like you

gotta stop we've gotta contain this like

in my mind i'm like do you think

that she thought it wasn't as bad as

what it was and like she's like oh

maybe i'm wearing like black pants no one

will notice like i don't know i don't

know because behind her like i wonder if

she

really knew how bad it looked because you

can't see like you're not like looking

behind you so i'm like you have to

feel smelled it right you have to right

well i lost the sense of smell during

covid so and i still don't have it

so that is a possibility but you have

to feel it when that happens you have

to feel it run down your leg i

mean come on

But here's the thing.

Everybody's getting all up in arms,

but it's not the first time this stuff

has ever happened.

How many competitions have you seen people

pee during double-unders or pee on a box

jump or bodily fluids are coming out all

the time?

I was a judge in the twenty eighteen

regionals when a guy vomited on the air

runner during the three thousand.

the triple three regional,

kept going just,

and it was just shooting off the back

of the air runner.

Blood from hands and people are touching.

Right.

Yeah.

But they go clean that stuff before anyone

else uses that area.

Like even the Pete gets sprayed down.

And every competition I've been at,

like concept two has extra, uh,

equipment to replace as soon as possible

and we've heard the boys and maybe even

fee say that they've like turtle head

poking out or actually maybe poop their

pants during a lift but you've never seen

it and there's never been like a turd

fall out onto the floor and like yeah

pee is one thing poop is a completely

different thing but puke is is just as

bad to me

People throw up all the time at CrossFit

events.

Yeah,

but it gets cleaned up before anyone goes

to that area.

That puke hit an air runner running at

whatever mile an hour it was and was

flying off the back at the judges.

Don't tell me it got cleaned off.

Vicky's dying laughing in the background.

We can see her, but you guys can't,

so I'm just laughing at watching Vicky.

High rocks world finals presented by a

modium.

Oh, geez.

Well,

like most of the blame is on the

high rocks organization for not stopping

it right there because an athlete of her

level is, I mean,

I probably wouldn't in my situation and

your situation,

but there are many athletes that will just

keep going.

Yeah.

Right.

I don't know the qualification process.

I mean, she's one of the best,

if not the best in the high rock

space.

So in my mind, I'm like,

just go qualify somewhere else.

You know,

if that if this was your qualification or

whatever,

but there is still money at each of

these events for them to win.

I don't know their financial situation.

You know, people,

a competitor can will continue.

Is it selfish with the people behind you?

Yes.

But a lot of high-level athletes are

selfish.

So I'm not entirely surprised.

It sucks to see all these pictures of

her like that because I feel bad for

the athlete,

but I also feel bad for the whole

group that was competing.

There's just so much happening.

But I think the real blame falls on

Pyrox.

What did you think of their response that

they posted?

What did they post?

Oh, it was not good.

Basically, if we attack her,

we can never do a high rocks in

our life.

What?

So all you in the chat,

you are now disqualified from ever doing a

high rocks according to the statement that

high rocks made.

They will look for you.

They will find you.

Don't attack the athlete.

Which, I mean... Well, that's fair.

I mean, they're the only ones...

They, as the race letter keep running.

And so that's mostly on them.

Like we can say it's selfish of her,

but if someone

If she wasn't going to stop on her

own, it's up to the race.

Like,

if she was comfortable running in her own

shit and not really worried,

it's up to the race.

It falls on them to stop.

It falls on them.

Because she was like,

I'm ready to do it.

It happened.

It's too late.

People already see it,

so I may as well just continue.

I feel like that's what she thought.

Yeah.

Like, the damage is done.

Just go.

And then I'll stop if they tell me.

Yeah.

It's a shitty situation.

It is a shitty situation.

Couldn't say it better myself.

We're not threatening her.

I was being facetious about you in the

chat.

I was just trying to make an example.

It was the tone of the high rock

statement.

It was very aggressive and it was,

are you able to pull it up?

I don't have the original statement.

Maybe Vicky can find it.

Is it on High Rocks' Instagram though?

I'm assuming it would be on their main

page or I don't remember where I saw

it, but.

As our sport continues to evolve,

we are encountering new and increasingly

complex situations that challenge us and

where additional clarity is needed.

This happened this weekend in China.

We ask our athletes to push themselves to

higher levels.

At times,

they will go beyond what even we thought

was possible.

That courage, resilience,

and refusal to give in are precisely what

makes elite athletes extraordinary.

Our role is to give them the rights,

blah, blah, blah.

A high rock says clear biocontaminant and

medical procedures in place.

In this instance,

an unforeseen situation arose in which

protocols designed for elite competition

and mass participation became blurred,

creating ambiguity.

We recognize this can understandably lead

to frustration, questions,

and strong blah, blah, blah.

Please continue to read the full statement

in the post.

So I think you have to hit the

arrow over a couple times.

And now I can't read it, but...

But there's an important line.

Frustration should never be directed

toward the athletes themselves.

They are the people who put themselves on

the line, compete at the highest level,

and make competition what it is.

There's no place in our community for

threats of violence or encouragement to

harm an athlete.

as this has happened this weekend we want

to be very clear and direct any person

identified as engaging in this behavior

whether thought through comments direct

messages or social media will be

permanently banned from all high rocks

events we are currently reviewing and

identifying those responsible and action

will be taken wow that's ridiculous well

if it is violence and threats

Okay.

Now that I've read the statement,

it's not as harsh as I initially thought.

Yeah, I mean, again,

it falls on high rocks to address the

situation there.

But sometimes, yeah, I mean,

this probably never happened before.

It's in a different country.

I mean, it should have been stopped.

Someone's getting pink eye.

i would too uh maybe that's why alexis

raptus taps out maybe she's thinking of

others i respect her for more for that

if that's if that's the reason uh i'm

i wonder what would have happened if this

had happened in the us or european race

in a european race yeah good question

would it have been a different

Would the organizers react differently

here in the West?

Not a little bit, excepted.

Yeah.

You know, they are sponsored by Puma.

Excellent.

That's good.

It read like, whose side are you on?

That's kind of what I got the first

time I read through it,

but I didn't get to that, like,

the level of, maybe they've updated it.

I don't know.

She needs to make sure shit happens and

sell them at Hyrox's.

It's probably against their sponsorship

agreement, and you can't do that.

I think the biggest problem with this and

that response from them is that sets an

awful precedent.

yeah no apologies from hyrox to all the

other athletes racing with her i did see

something in the statement at some point

about we it like it should have been

handled it should have been better i don't

know if it said directly we're sorry but

i don't know they should have pulled her

off is all i have to say

I mean, did they even say, like,

did they acknowledge their mistake even in

the statement?

I don't think that they ever said they're

sorry and what the, in the event, like,

what should have happened.

And I think that's what they're missing in

their statement.

Like, there should have been a,

we are very sorry that this has happened.

In the future,

an athlete that has an incident happened,

we will make sure to stop for the

safety of others, you know, et cetera.

Like, they should apologize and still say,

like,

what is the actual procedure going for?

Completely agree.

Because I don't think that there was

anything like that.

Like there was some ish accountability,

right?

That like,

this is an unforeseen circumstance,

but like,

there's not really addressing any

accountability.

No,

it makes it sound like if this happens

again, it's fine.

They don't care.

Athletes can shit themselves and continue

on, but don't spit.

Andrew Sten says she sure as shit knew

what happened.

So many...

Really puts a brown eye on the sport.

No place in the high rocks for getting

pooped on.

It really left a bad taste in the

competitors' mouths.

All right,

I'm skipping over some of these.

Holy cow, there's a lot.

So all this to say is that we

don't know what would happen in the next

one if it happens again.

We don't.

And Shanna says she's doing one in a

couple months or a month,

and that she'll be inspecting the carpet.

And she says she'll be inspecting the

carpets closely.

Smell it while you're down there, Shanna.

It'll blow over or all over.

All right.

Well, that's it for tonight.

We ended on poop gate.

We started with Rocky and debating which

was the best.

We ended with poop gate.

With that,

I hope everybody has a great rest of

your night.

I don't know what's going to happen next

Sunday night.

I think I'll be able to do the

show.

I will be in Montana.

I will not be able to do the

show.

I am going to Montreal this weekend for

a level one.

Ooh.

Are we moving ahead?

Sure, too.

Okay.

I'll be at CrossFit Wonderland.

Nice.

Nice.

back to tuesday chuck carr as well and

uh matt will be there and camilla lombre

get the play around maybe at lunchtime on

the pegboard or after the seminar all

right i mean i'll probably be available in

my hotel somehow but well i think my

flight leaves at eight p.m so i for

sure will be out this sunday

yeah i'm just it might be better for

like jamie and i'd do the sunday show

rather than move it to tuesday next week

but i'll yeah i'll we'll chat before then

okay with that i hope everybody has a

great night we'll be back tomorrow for

lunch with the clydesdale for two days and

then i'm off to montana on wednesday

morning cannot wait to see my kid with

that don't forget to like and subscribe

and we'll see you all very very soon
