00:00 Speaker: Over two weeks in London and four days in Paris, they visited amazing places, met people from all over the world and learned a lot, improved their English and had lots of fun.
00:26 Speaker: And they are here to share their experience with you, students and families, and inspire new students to take part of this amazing program in 2026. Girls, welcome to another Podbearer. Can you introduce yourselves to the listeners? Hi, I'm Julia Panis. Hi, I'm Valentina. Hi, I'm Julia Cotrin.
00:57 Speaker: And they went to London and Paris together and had lots of fun, improved their English and, wow, had an amazing cultural experience. How was your experience in Greenwich? What did you like most about the classes and the campus? I really liked how they applied their methodology and how the classes were different than we have here.
01:26 Speaker: And I really like how the school was structured and all of the friends that I made there. And what about the activities, the international nights, the disco nights and the trips to Cambridge, Brighton and London itself? So all of them were very nice. I'll talk first about the international night on which had some...
01:50 Speaker: on people from Argentina, Turkey, Italy and also we made a presentation where we danced and talked about some cultural places in here. There was also the disco night where we could have fun, relax and meet new people and also we went to Cambridge, like one of the first universities where all the researchers came from there.
02:19 Speaker: And also Brighton, that was a beach on which had rocks instead of sand. And a big castle. Yeah. An amazing castle. You had 15 hours of English classes per week with native teachers.
02:40 Speaker: We also went to the Harry Potter studios where it was filmed, the original, in London. So can you tell us a little bit about your experience? So I have a really good experience at the Harry Potter studios. There were a lot of sets that appeared on the films. We saw a lot of magical animals like dragons, magical dogs, phoenix, a lot of things.
03:08 Speaker: It was really funny and I recommend going to the Harry Potter Studios and if I had the opportunity to go back to the Harry Potter Studios I would go. We also had a chance to go shopping. We actually went shopping at Oxford Street which is an amazing area where you can find the most famous stores.
03:34 Speaker: And Julia, can you tell me a little bit about your experience? So in Oxford Street, it's a very famous street on which we found like very famous stores. I bought so many things in there, such as presents, things that I like. And we also walked with our friends and could have a fun time doing things that we like. Having delicious ice creams. Yeah.
04:02 Speaker: Julia, how did this experience improve your English and even your basic French? I think it improved a lot, especially that I made in England. I made two friends. One was Russian and the other was Turkish. And I, of course, I had to speak English to talk to them. And one of them had a little accent, so it was better to improve my English and understanding.
04:28 Speaker: And as you said, I spoke the basics of French in Paris, but I heard a lot and I was surprised at how fast they were talking. Girls, I have an interesting question now. Did you make any friends from other countries? If yes, are you still in touch with them? Yes, I made two friends, as I said previously. I made a friend called Dina from Russia and Celine from Turkey.
04:56 Speaker: Are you still in contact with them? Yeah, we have a WhatsApp group. We talk almost every day. Wow, amazing. What about you, Julia? I made a lot of friends, but the one that I'm in touch with, it's one from Italy. She's called Elisa. And she's older, but she's super sweet and super nice. Oh, you tend to like older friends, huh? You like more experienced people. Actually, I didn't like so much younger students.
05:25 Speaker: That's great. In my class I was the youngest. Yeah, in my class too. Celine is my age also. We were the youngest one in the class. I wanted to make a friend that was from Italy. Like, she was in my group... in my group... Almost every time. And, like, she's a good person. She was one of the most kind persons in my class, and I like her. But I don't have contact with her because I forgot to ask her a number. Girls, now tell me, if you could describe this trip in one word, what would it be, Julia? Cultural. Valen. Emotional. Julia.
06:08 Speaker: Unforgettable. Unforgettable. And if I could describe it, I would describe it with the words intense. Because this was a summer camp where there were lots of trips, learning, meeting new people, going around. So it was really, really intense, in my opinion.
06:35 Speaker: And finally girls, would you recommend this trip to other Maple Bear students in 2026? And why? Yes, I would definitely recommend this trip because it was a very like cultural and we could learn new things, see and explore new environments and it was very nice and very good. I would also...
07:01 Speaker: recommend because i really liked how we practice english almost all the time and also the independence he gave us to show us how independent we get when we get older i would recommend this trip because we met a lot of new places like museums castles church we experience a lot of new countries like france england
07:29 Speaker: And also, we always get out of our comfort zone, which is very good for us to know how to, on our older life, such as like Julia said, we can have a better life. Thank you girls for sharing your amazing experience. And I'm sure many students are now dreaming of joining us for the next summer program in 2026. Families, stay tuned.
07:59 Speaker: We'll soon send information about the next summer camp. Until next time on Podbear. See you. Bye-bye. Thank you for watching. Bye-bye. Podbear. Podbear. Podbear. Podbear. Podbear. Podbear.
