So this morning I was actually going to have a different episode air today, but a part of receiving guidance from the Akashic Records and listening to your intuition and being a cycle breaker who follows your own flow versus the flow of what everyone else is doing around you means that you pivot when it makes sense for you. And it means that you follow those intuitive nudges, even if they don't really make sense to you or to anybody else, because your path is yours for a reason. If you've been listening to the other episodes, then you know that you came to this earth with specific core wounds and specific contracts that you signed up for in this lifetime to move through. And that doesn't mean it's easy, right? It means that you maybe loaded the deck so that the beginning of your life was really hard and you had to go through lots of challenges and trials to be able to learn the lessons that you needed to learn in this lifetime to be able to set you up for the cycle breaking and spiritual awakening that you also signed up for. And so you could come to the perspectives that you're now finding to this awakening that is happening for you and not to you. I know this can be kind of scary because if you're at this point in the Cycle breakers podcast series, you may be questioning a lot. You may be questioning your worldview and your perspective and all the things that you thought you knew about your life, right? You know, I always thought that I was going to want to climb the corporate ladder and that that was it for me.
Victoria Nielsen [00:02:40]:
And it wasn't until my spiritual awakening that I realized that there was so much more to life. And I bet that that's exactly where you are too. Or maybe you're a little bit past that, right? And you're like, okay, I know that there's more. I've been through all this. I'm of being in the trenches of the shadow work. What next? And with all of my clients and even myself over these years, I've really found that the number one thing that tends to be missing in your cycle breaking journey is your ability to create safety in your body. What do I mean by that? So our body remembers everything energetically. We talked about this in yesterday's episode of the Witch Wound and the Mother Wound and the Sister Wound.
Victoria Nielsen [00:03:22]:
Your body remembers, right, those witch trials. Your body remembers those past lives perhaps that weren't so nice or where you were really moving through some super hard things. And until we can move that noise, that energy out of the body, we're never going to truly feel safe to open up and to blossom. You think about it, right? The, the feminine needs to feel structured and supported, to be able to soften and to bloom. And so the way that I have been able to cultivate safety in my body over these last couple of years is with Kundalini Yoga. And we use Kundalini as part of Akashic Awakening very intentionally because Kundalini is the yoga of awareness. And so it is all about working with your subconscious mind, bringing up those negative thought patterns, those repetitive thought patterns, so that you can see them and then decide how you want to move forward. Because every single day in the Kundalini tradition, you are meant to do the same meditation for 40 days so that the meditation stays the same.
Victoria Nielsen [00:04:25]:
But then you're different every time you come to the mat. And you can start to see all the excuses maybe that you're making aren't really valid. Like I know I used to always say like, oh, if the weather was shitty, like I'm just having a bad day and I don't want to do anything. Well, I was feeling like that and the weather wasn't shitty outside. And I started to see that. I have a lot of stories of my abilities, of my capabilities, of how strong I am of, of what I can and cannot do. And once those come up, then you can start to use your head and heart, brain together, as I said, together, right? Because I think another thing that I see often in the healing and cycle breaking space is the intellectualizing of your trauma. So you think about it non stop.
Victoria Nielsen [00:05:15]:
You are doing mental gymnastics, wondering maybe how you could do things differently. You're replaying things in your mind. You remember that really awkward pause or conversation or thing you said in elementary school that everyone laughed at? So you need to bring the brain along in the process. It's brain and body. And I think most practitioners say it's either or, right? They're like, oh, you've got to move all of this out of your body and get out of the head. Which is true. But your head needs to reconcile everything that's happening also. So that will happen as part of Akashic awakening and as part of doing Kundalini yoga and, and meditating.
Victoria Nielsen [00:05:52]:
And you could do this too, without doing Kundalini specific. If you have a yoga practice or even just like a movement practice where you put on music and move your body, if you're doing it intentionally and then taking the time afterwards to journal, you're gonna get very similar effects. Kundalini will help you get there faster because it's made specifically for working with the subconscious. But essentially what I want you to be doing is moving your body and then doing like a brain dump of sorts so that you have the two connected. Because when you begin to move the body and you begin to create safe and space and, or sorry, safety and space in the body, then you find these things come up and they come to your mind. And I truly believe all shadow work comes to you when you are ready to deal with it. And that it's not a coincidence that all of a sudden you start maybe thinking about a situation that really bothered you, or you start having dreams about people or places in the past. Those are signs from the universe that this energy is coming up to be dealt with.
Victoria Nielsen [00:06:52]:
And the more that you can face it head on with your body and with your, you are going to be able to move through it a lot easier. It doesn't mean it's going to be healed forever. Right? Our, our cycles have so many layers that you may and most likely will come up against this again at some point, but it's going to be at a deeper level. And you will have moved through those top layer of emotions or those top layers of things that are keeping you from getting to the root. Because that's really what cycle breaking is. A rat is about is like figuring out what the root of the problem is. And again, that root that I have found for many of my clients and myself is not feeling safe, not feeling like they are enough. And all of those stem from safety, right? So like the not enoughness, the not worthy, the, the low Self love.
Victoria Nielsen [00:07:46]:
All of that comes because you don't feel safe to fully express yourself. And that's really all we're here to do, is to be the fully expressed version of ourselves in whatever way that looks. So maybe you dress a little different or maybe you have hobbies that people in your life don't understand. That's your way of breaking cycles, okay? It doesn't have to be this big flamboyant thing. You don't have to become like a spiritual teacher and go get a yoga certification and do all these things. You can have a spiritual awakening and continue to just live your life, and you just live it from a more intentional and sacred place. And that is just as much a cycle breaker as the mom, right, that's trying to stop yelling, as the woman that's trying to stop binge eating, as the goddess that's trying to love her body. Again, they all have such similar threads around self love and safety.
Victoria Nielsen [00:08:41]:
And yes, maybe you're able to trace it back to one specific root instance, but I find that it's a lot of little instances over a long period of time for most people. And it doesn't have to be trauma with a capital T. You know, there are unfortunately so many people that have suffered big traumas. But I'm here to tell you that little traumas add up too. It's like the cut of a thousand knives, right? Like, you're still going to be scarred just in different ways. And it doesn't make it any less or any worse or any better or anything like that. It's just different. But at the heart of it is very, very similar things, right? So I want you to start listening to the signals of the body, because your body's always talking to you.
Victoria Nielsen [00:09:26]:
So when you enter a room, notice how you feel. Are your shoulders automatically slumping? Are you protecting your heart and your energy by moving your body inward? Are you crossing your arms a lot when you're in conversations with people, that's a defensive posture. You're. You're blocking your heart. You're keeping anyone else from entering your heart, right? Are you standing tall and proud? You know, you are the culmination of the five people that you hang out with the most. And I think this is key, and it's been talked about before, but as a cycle breaker, you need to surround yourself with people that are going to support this new version of you, that are going to allow you to change. And if you're still hanging out with the same people from high school and they still have the Same stories about you and they still think the same things. It's going to be really hard to break those cycles.
Victoria Nielsen [00:10:21]:
And it's not to say that you can't. I'm still best friends with my high school best friend and she and I have moved through so much together and she has seen me in every single phase of my life and loves me no matter what. That is very different than still hanging out with the same group of people or hanging out with a group of people that you know is not at the vibrational match that you want to be. You need to be around people that inspire you and that bring out the best in you and that support this cycle breaking side of you even when it's not easy because it is messy as. Especially if you're a mom trying to break these cycles. I. It's awful because you know that you shouldn't be yelling at your kids and then you yell at your kids anyway because you're not healed and you're still moving through it and you're not alone. So finding support in not just like mentors, but, but people that you admire that are doing what you want to be doing is key.
Victoria Nielsen [00:11:19]:
And that's another part of why this is a group program and not a singular program. Because when we come together to heal in harmony with other women, magic happens. You see mirrors for what you're going through and everyone else and you realize that you're not alone. But also the love of a woman is so powerful and is so different than the love of anyone else, really. And the support that I have found from my sisters on this healing path has been one of the most healing things because I was able to rewrite so many stories from childhood and catty girlfriends and all of it. And so if you get nothing else from this episode, I want you to start maybe just writing down some of the stories that you tell yourself and start to see if they feel true in the body. For years I told myself I wasn't creative. For years I.
Victoria Nielsen [00:12:12]:
I told myself I, I wasn't this person. And it's really funny because over the holiday break I was back home and I ran into someone that I used to know and I was kind of telling her, you know, ha ha, I, I used to think I wasn't creative. And she was like, you're the most creative person I've ever met. I can't believe you would ever think that about yourself. And somewhere along the way, I lost that. And so somewhere along the way you lost an intrinsic part of yourself too. And it's up to you to get it back. And that's what this is about.
Victoria Nielsen [00:12:41]:
It's about getting your essence, your sovereign to your full self back so that you can be who the that you're meant to be. Without shame, without guilt, without any of those low vibration emotions. You're just showing up as you and that inspires others. I want you to also find women that inspire you over these next couple of weeks and just be in their energy. Maybe you follow them on Instagram, maybe you strike up a conversation with them in real life. Maybe you find a woman that's wearing the most fantastic outfit and you just want to congratulate her. Expanding your worldview and showing yourself others doing the things that you want to be doing shows you what's possible. The Akashic records specifically are infinite, infinitely possible.
Victoria Nielsen [00:13:30]:
They contain everything that has happened, can happen, and will happen.
