Lance John: Hello and welcome to PNC
Anime Beat a new segment from the
pondering nerd cast that covers all
the latest anime news and trends.
I am your host Lance, and I am
excited to take you on a journey
into the vibrant world of animation.
Let's explore the world of
anime that never sleeps.
Oh, we're kicking off
today with some applause.
Congratulations are in order as
the nagata International Animation
Film Festival has rolled out the
red carpet for its award winners.
Can we have a drum roll
for art director Kazuki?
Hi Gaji and animation
director to Kechi Honda.
And let's not forget the
creative powerhouse clap.
This studio has taken home the
Hiroshi Okawa Award for the
film Pompeo, the Cine Field.
If you've got technical skills in
animation, NGA is the place to be.
Speaking of stars, the
conclusion of Digimon Dreamers.
Manga is on the horizon.
We're saying a bittersweet farewell
on March 4th, RSU and Pulse.
Man, you've been epic
companions on this adventure.
Someone's gotta take the baton, right?
So watch out for the Digimon
trading card game Web comic Digimon
liberator coming at you in spring.
Now anyone craving some
whimsical streaming pics?
Two B TVs got our backs
adding, not one, but two.
And Penman films.
Fluffy, furry, adventure.
Anyone?
And for all you high flyers, keep
your eyes peeled for the 35th
and Pan Man film this summer.
It's shaping up to be a blast.
Now, grab the confetti.
The Boy and the Heron swooped up two
shiny awards at the Annie Awards and
we owe it all to Legend Miyazaki for
best storyboarding, and to Kashi Honda
for his stellar character animation.
I.
But let's not forget Makoto sh Kai's Suzu,
nominated and consistently remarkable.
The Annies were all buzzing with nominees
like Spider-Man across the Spider verse,
bagging best feature and the unforgettable
voice of Chloe Grace Mart's in Nimona
Studio Ghibli's, Joe Hisi, a maestro,
received the Windsor McKay Award.
And let's take a moment for the greats.
We've lost.
Leaving behind a legacy,
we're forever grateful for.
And with that touching note, it's time
we wrap this episode of PNC Anime Beat.
We've laughed odd and maybe shed
a tear, but that's the anime beat.
You know, I.
So keep your screens bright
and your spirits high.
Tune in next time for
more thrilling anime news.
And until then, keep
those hearts animated.
