If you have ever heard yourself say or might be this is a thought that's quite present in you right now which is something in the lines of I really want to make more money or I should have made more money in the past year in 2024 I should have made way more money anything like that this podcast is for you I want to talk about how we can completely shift that narrative, and what it actually really means because what I see is that if we get too hung up on that I should have made more money or I really need to make money now and we focus on that, it's always causing stagnation. It's always causing something that is negative, that feels like there's some kind of neediness, there's some kind of misalignment. It very often doesn't lead to actually make more money. There's one way that I could which is if it comes as a fun way like, you know what? I really wanna make some more money and it is a motivation, a driver to then start off.
Relinde:But I really wanna make more money very often does something very weird to the nervous system where we get in a stress situation where very you know, it is actually never really true but there's just this real, like, I'm gonna, like, basically die if I don't make more money right now that is what happens in the body. It completely breaks creativity and not unimportant. It gives us feelings of unworthiness of not good enough. I haven't done this in the right way. I didn't make enough money.
Relinde:I should make more money. So I really wanna flip the script here and I know we've just dived in, but I really wanna right away give you the big shift that I think is so important the moment that you feel yourself saying these kind of things. No matter if you just did a launch and you hit a great number. Let's say you had a good goal that was, like, I want to make a good goal would be make I make 20 1,000 then a better goal would be 30 but a great goal would be best and you make 18, you know? So you still made 18,000 but you didn't hit the 20 or the 50 and you might feel like I really should have made more money.
Relinde:So what, whatever it is, whatever place you are at with this is not gonna work for you. Here is the big mindset shift that I'm gonna talk you through today on how to actually do this. And the big shift is not I really wanna make more money. The big shift is how can I be of more service? You might have heard this before but I'm gonna take you through step by step how you can do this and it's so important.
Relinde:It is so different to think I should have made more money. Me, me, me. Then how can I help more people with what I do? Now, here I am assuming that you already know how to help more people and actually charge money for it and actually charge decent money for it. Yes.
Relinde:I will talk about that as well. But the real mindset shift is I want to help more people or I want to help people on a deeper level because when you help people in a deep level on deep transformations or you help more people you are going to naturally make more money again assuming that you already did the work knowing how to receive money already did the work knowing how to practically and more spiritually charge for what you are doing. So I wanna go back for a moment about this worthiness thing. Very often, money is attached to a couple of things in our mind. And, actually, I wanna take one more step before we dive into that is before we go into even like money, I didn't make enough money so I'm a failure kind of feeling which I often see with people no matter much how much they made by the way.
Relinde:Yeah? So this is not about not making any money this is about you finding that you didn't hit your goal or whatever. So what I really want to look at for a moment is what is money? What is money? I mean, if you really in the grand scheme of things like, let's say we're here in this planet earth, we're flying around through space as I speak, as you listen to this right now, we have honestly really no idea how all of this is possible in these magnificent bodies.
Relinde:We're in this body, in this life, for a limited amount of time, it's just so magical and then us human beings we made up this thing called money and of course I know in this physical reality it's an important game to play you cannot ignore the game of money because it's going to be very complicated yeah and that's okay but I want you to see that in essence it is a game it is something that we said you know what we all agree on this thing called money. Now what happened as well and I think that is for everybody this is such collect collective deep beliefs is that there's now money is attached to status is attached to worth is attached to what you get access to and what you don't get access to which doors open for you which don't so I am the first to say it is really great to get a piece of the pie you know to be good at making money because it will allow you to be easier in your life but that being said or to be easier in making decisions for me it always felt like I wanna make decisions based on what I really want I love, I don't know, I love this apartment I wanna be able to rent it I don't want to have to think oh I can't rent it because of the money of course I can't rent anything I want right now but that is basically always what I felt like it's like I just want to do what really feels good in my heart I don't want to only have to look at the limitations of my bank account.
Relinde:And you might feel the same. Money opens possibilities. It creates opportunities to have experiences with your family and all that good stuff. I don't take that away. And in the moment, if money isn't plenty there or it isn't you're not making a million you're just making 6 figures you're not making 6 figures you're just making 5 like whatever situation you are in currently what is really important is that you keep seeing that money as a game and that your inherent worth and safety and inner safety isn't all dependent of that thing called money because that is how much power we are giving at you all this is so important you need to bring it back to you and say you know what?
Relinde:I actually know that I can be really feel really good and peaceful, that I can feel relaxed, that I can feel supported and safe in my body because you don't need anything for that. Those are somatic tools coming back to your body, really feeling yourself. It's literally maybe you've had these moments where you're just laying in the in the grass and you're just seeing the sky and just feeling connected to nature or just really feeling connected to yourself during a yoga class or maybe in shafasana, the end of it. And that feeling is always available to you. So that's like an I am safe in me.
Relinde:I'm safe in my body. I know that I'll that everything always works out for me. That is a somatic feeling and that is of course talking about nervous system that is when your nervous system isn't telling you that you know you must run for the hills because you're about to die you're actually safe right now so that is something to train and it's really good to get really good at always being able to feel safe. Now second is this worthiness thing because I see people put a lot of worthiness value. Actually, I'm valuable because I made x amount of money.
Relinde:Well, let me tell you this, if you make 1,000,000 but you haven't done the inner work of feeling valuable, you're still not gonna be feel valuable even if you make 10,000,000 a year. That's what you see with people making tons and tons of money and still feeling really unhappy or still feeling really unworthy. And they might even lose it or, you know, there's all kind of things that can happen then. I heard somebody say once what I really loved saying that if that money is just an amplifier. So we think and I'm also guilty of this.
Relinde:I always, work on this all the time and I've worked on this a lot and it goes much easier now, but I think we all do this. So we think if I have, if I make 6 figures, then I'll feel really good. Then I'll feel really confident and I'll feel really calm. If I make 7 figures, then I will have this and that. That's what this is how I will feel.
Relinde:And this is what we need to disconnect. We can feel those things already. And then with excitement, we can start making that kind of money. Okay? So it's really important to not make it the same thing.
Relinde:Money is worth. Money is success. Money is safety. No. No.
Relinde:No. Safety, worthiness, success, value, all of those things are here already. You already are safe. You are even you are already wealthy. You are already valuable.
Relinde:You are already worthy. All those things. You are already successful. Any voices in your head that say right now, Rolanda, that is not true, those are just affirmations that I can't believe, I know that that is very powerful thoughts that those are really, how can I say, those are very collective beliefs and they're really, I would almost say, aggressive? Beliefs and they're really, I would almost say aggressive in taking us down but if you think of it in this way you are here you're listening to this podcast you are living breathing amazing human being you have clothes to wear You have something to listen to this podcast on.
Relinde:You have something to go to today. You have somebody to talk to today. You are loved. You are taking care of others. Your others are taking care of you.
Relinde:There's so many things in your life already happening. You are successful you are worthy you are deserving and that is something if you can't believe that truly in your bones to really that's the work yeah that's the work to do in every way you want to do that that's the real work to do because when you have that not making the money that you wanted can still be bummer can be like I really wanted a bit more but it doesn't take you down in a spiral like you see I'm a failure You see I'm not worthy. You see I'm not deserving. That's where it all goes wrong. That's where we then paralyze and get well, paralyze or distract procrastinate.
Relinde:I wanna look at it and, or panic. Like I really need to sell like you have a sales call and then you ruin it because you're so needy and you're so like just about selling and that's because you think it will ease the pain of not feeling safe not feeling worthy not feeling good enough And that's what money never gonna do. So that's the healing, the deep healing I think that wants to happen. And then if that is shifted, if you know how to take care of that part of you and I'm not saying this is shifted. I'm on for it all.
Relinde:Everything is always okay. But if you know how to soothe yourself, if you know how to get back to feeling good, worthy, safe, all those beautiful things in your body right now, then you can with a fun way look at, so now how can I make more money? Because I'm already worthy, good enough, successful, deserving, amazing, valuable how can I make more money? And the real question to ask is how can I be more of service? How can I help more people?
Relinde:How can I help people on a deeper level? That's the real question to ask and that's really to sit with and those are the questions that your brain can actually give answers to that are constructive. Not how can I make more money now tomorrow? Never. It's gonna be very stressful and exciting for it.
Relinde:I wanna make more money. So how can I be of more service? How can I be more giving? How can I give more to people? Now, here I am assuming that we already installed a skill that you already have the skill of actually charging the amount of money that feels as an energetic, healthy exchange with what you're doing.
Relinde:So I'll talk about that in a minute, but of course, I'm not just saying, give everything just away for free all the time. That's also not going to make you more money. And that's the other, like, yeah that that would also not be in alignment but instead of thinking how can I make more money think how can I be of more service so sometimes being of more service is just showing up more on social media you know giving away more free content and that is indeed giving it away and then inviting people into taking a next step whatever that is do you send them to a sales page? Do you have them sign up with you for a call? You need to have those structures in place right?
Relinde:You need to have avenues in place that people can find you and then ways very easy ways for people to pay you so that the money can come to you. Those things, if you don't have that yet, those are the basics. You need to have that first. But really the attitude of how can I be of more service? Now what is also really important and this is at any stage in your business honestly because those things change and evolve over time is what do my audience what does my audience really need?
Relinde:What do my people really need? If you don't know this answer you really need to go back to the drawing board and I'll give you some beautiful ways how you can do that. If you know these answers, but you feel like something is shifting the things that you were selling before don't sell so easily anymore. For whatever reason you need to start figuring out what is shifting. Is it in you?
Relinde:Is something in you shifting something else to the next level that wants to come through in the way that you wanna serve? Is it something else in your industry, your audience, your people that need something else in this moment? Is it evolving? So you are always as a business owner, wanna have this skill to to understand what is it that my people really want. And I see so many people jumping past this.
Relinde:I get people that are like, I just want to know how to make a beautiful Instagram feed and I'm all for you posting on Instagram and knowing what to post and being super successful there but before that if you don't know or if you feel it's time for an upgrade what is it that your people really want to hear about? What do they think about? What are the problems that they have in their mind right now? They're like, I really wanna solve this thing. I wanna be in that place, but I am here and I don't know how to get from a to b.
Relinde:And that is your job to really know that. What is it? What is it that they think about right now? And then you can think, can I honestly help them with this? Almost nobody tells you to ask that question, but ask that question like, okay.
Relinde:I see people are here and they wanna be there. Can I help them get there? And if you get a real yes you know in your bones because you already know you're good enough worthy deserving and valuable and that your offer is valuable and that you have amazing things in the world and you're like yes that what they're describing is exactly something that I can help with. Then you need to do the work of understanding how to talk to them talking about this problem that they experience right now and where they wanna be that beautiful vision, that beautiful thing where they are not yet and then go into how can I show them that I am exactly the person that can get them there? And that is your pathway or your unique method or your unique pathway to get somebody there.
Relinde:So they're somewhere where they are now. They're somewhere where they wanna be and there's you coming in as the guide saying, listen. I can help you with this thing. And when you know how to do this very simple thing, you are going to be able to sell on repeat. When you crack this code of knowing where your people are where they wanna be and you telling them I can help you with this and this is how we do it and here's my offer and it really aligns with what they want that is ultimately what it is and again I'm talking to you if you are the beginning but I'm also talking to you if you're further along in your business.
Relinde:I have a client, beautiful client, and she's amazing and she's got so much experience working with with her clients in so many different ways, but she always did 1 on 1 work. In person, 1 on 1. And now she's moving country and she wants to not only do these 1 on 1 sessions, which are also really starting to be like costing just quite a lot of energy. She wants to leave a bigger mark and she wanted, she came to me and I love this question basically saying, Wilinda, I don't only want to know how I can make more money through this. 1st, I wanna know what is it that I'm really here to share?
Relinde:What is my story? Why am I the guide for these people? What am I actually doing with them? Because she'd been doing it intuitively. People I mean, she was fully booked.
Relinde:Yes? So she was doing it well already, but now it's about that next level, really telling that story, reaching more people and showing them, you know what? We're gonna go on a deeper level. We're going to have these bigger transformations. We're not gonna do just, you know, tons of 1 on 1 sessions.
Relinde:We're going to have retreats we're going to have an online program maybe we're gonna have maybe an app I don't know what yeah? So those are the things like which shapes is that transformation that you can really give that gonna take and what it really takes is you knowing you you knowing yourself what is that purpose that deeper thing that you are doing and your purpose by the way is not what you do it's not it is my purpose to have a coaching program no that is a shape there's a form that we can do that in The purpose is something deeper than that, your bigger why. So what is it that you are here to really transform and do with your people? What is it that they say they want? So if you know you, you gotta know your clients really well because sometimes you are saying things in words that they cannot hear.
Relinde:This is the biggest disconnect that I see with coaches out there. They're saying it and they're saying on social media, they're saying the things, but they are not really listening to what are my clients saying? What are their words to say this exact thing? So sometimes somebody expresses their problem in a way, and you start to just talk about the solution all the time and you're never using their words to say listen I totally understand where you're at this and this and this is what you're experiencing and they're like oh my god yes that is me are you in my head or what? That's the reaction that you want for your clients and then you want to talk about and I know where you want to be you want this and they're like what?
Relinde:How do you know that? It's because you studied it because you listened to it because you were interested asking the question how can I serve more people and how can I serve more people is about who are exactly my people? What are they saying? What are they really craving? What are they desiring?
Relinde:What are they running into? What are their external problems? Like, what is their problems in, in their lives right now? How are they feeling? Where do they have limiting beliefs about?
Relinde:What do they believe that doesn't allow them to get to where they wanna be? Where are they now? Where do they wanna be? And how can you tell them that you are the person to help them with it? When I started in this online business world my first program was actually called embody your business and right now everybody in this industry is talking about regulating their nervous system and embodiment and but 10 years ago they weren't I can tell you they weren't so when I started talking about you know I see all these online business but on my business on my business I've been dancing for a long time I know things around somatic movement I am you know a yoga teacher Qigong teacher, energy work, embodiment.
Relinde:I know that we need to have this personal development, that we need to have this embodiment and the energy flowing and the beliefs online with this business growth. People couldn't hear that. They were just like tell me how to sell a thing. Tell me how to build a funnel. Tell me how to sell online.
Relinde:That's what they wanted to talk about. So I had to create messaging from the beginning where I said, you know what? I'm, I'm starting to show examples and I'm starting to show them that if you want to make more money, that what the biggest mistake is that we only focus on that. But if we do not get our beliefs and and our bodies aligned with the person that we wanna be, that we are in order to make more money, it's not gonna happen. And that messaging took off after, for me, I think it was maybe even 2 years or 3 years of trying.
Relinde:It was definitely a lot of trial and error, a lot of small things selling until all of a sudden everything clicked and I could say it. And again, I keep listening to what are my people saying? Where am I evolving? Where is my my audience evolving? So I had to explain that thing or I had to build messaging where I had to explain that the limiting beliefs in the subconscious mind would actually be the one thing that they were thinking about making money.
Relinde:We need to shift the beliefs in order for you to make more money. So one of the first successful things that I sold was a 1 on 1 3 month program where what I called money flow intensive where we would really break through the limiting beliefs that are holding the money that were keeping the money from from flowing in which was incredibly successful offer really beautiful to do as well but I had to talk about money in order to talk about the limiting beliefs in my case. So what I wanted to say about this is that if you feel like but I'm talking about the solution the solution the solution and my audience isn't getting in it is because you are not talking about what they are thinking about. Okay? So what are they thinking about and if you don't know it there's ways to find it out which is doing a survey which is like a lower touch like way you can survey people send them a form and have them fill it out you can talk to them which is my favorite way just ask a bunch of people like hey I am researching this and this topic or I am creating a new offer around this and that topic and I see you as being my perfect person to talk about and I really honor the experience and the this and the that that you have.
Relinde:Would you give me 20 minutes of your time and talk about this topic with me? Because it would be really helpful to understand. That is a beautiful question to ask. That is a beautiful question to ask. So having these conversations, doing surveys there's other fun ways that you can do research you can go to Amazon for example and look at book, books that cover the topic that you want to talk about and just read the reviews.
Relinde:Start looking for language about what your clients say about the problems that they say about the desires that they have and the things that they say why they are not there or the solutions that they do find and do work for them so oh, the solutions that they have tried and don't work for them. So all of these questions just get really curious about your people. If you already have your message and you're like, I really want to make more money. Great. Send out an extra couple of emails this month.
Relinde:Great. Do some outreach. Go back to all clients. Offer something really fun and amazing for a couple of days. There's so many ways that you can just make 1,000, 10000, 20,000, 50,000 more in the coming month if you really put your mind to it.
Relinde:And depending on where you are at. So if you have a beautiful big list, you have people to reach out to then and you already know your messaging then I think it is really easy. You've built something already and if you don't have this yet this is what you're building towards. You're building something that you always know I feel like I wanna serve more and also with that increase my revenue for that month or that quarter I'm gonna put a really beautiful no brainer offer there and put it out and sell it because I want to be available and of service to the people. That is the way.
Relinde:If you don't have that yet, it is the work to get clear on that, to build that list, to really get clear on who your people are first and what you are selling. And that is real purposeful selling. Now that being said, I am doing something really fun which I haven't done in one and a half years after doing it every couple of months for years, for 4 years. I am teaching a 4 day life training and this one is coming up November 18th and I am so excited about it.
