6797--Harry Greenwood--Entering into the Kingdom of God_128k
00:00:00 Speaker: I'd like to read just a few verses to start with, and I'd like to continue, if you can possibly call it a theme, but I've heard that expression before, so I like to use it. Um, the Kingdom of God. I'm very aware today that the saints are coming into a full revelation of what they've been born again into. I think everybody in this meeting knows the entrance. Now, I thought that I thought you couldn't possibly be in this meeting even halfway through it. Unsaved. I want you to know tonight, not just because the book says that you're saved by accepting Christ, but the spirit beareth witness with our spirit Read that we are the sons of God in Romans eight sixteen. Now I believe that. Have you had a witness of the spirit on the word, the seed, when you're born again of the Spirit of God, you're born of incorruptible seed by the Word of God, as I once said, indestructible seed. And if you have a perfect father. Hallelujah! He has perfect children. So your spiritual birth is perfect. You're therefore. You're a completely new creation. Hallelujah! And you can say Amen any time during the meeting. I told you, if you get excited, say hallelujah. If you get healed, just stand up. Now, all through the meeting, people are going to start receiving things. There's something exciting in my spirit. Really exciting. There is no opposition. I used to acknowledge Satan in every meeting. I said, I bind you, Satan? Now he doesn't come to my meetings anymore. Hallelujah. And one of the main reasons that he does not come to the meetings because he never hears anything good about himself. And once I found out where Satan was, I stopped looking for him. Do you know there are a lot of Christians that are always expecting Satan to turn up everywhere? That's true. They're frightened of getting blessed in a convention because of what's going to happen afterwards. Revelation, somebody once said, is married to situation. You get the revelation at the convention. You get the situation afterwards. And all God's people said, whoa, look at that. Are you looking forward to the persecution that's going to follow, that's going to bring you deeper into this blessing and revelation that's going to bring more out of you. You know, you're going to find that the best is going to come out of you, because that's what God put in there. All you need is a terrible situation. All you need is persecution. If you really want to see the Lord and you want to see him stand up, get a Steven experience that'll really rock you. Hallelujah. You do not see Steven picking up stones and throwing them back. As a matter of fact, the more stones they threw, the deeper into fellowship he came. They didn't even change the expression on his face. There is something about the presence of God that is so great that when you're having fellowship with Jesus, you don't even burn. Think of three people in a nice heated, fiery furnace having fellowship with Jesus. Hallelujah! That's where you'll find him in the fire. Praise God. You know, I just praise God for this. That the things that God had prepared for us may not seem good, but they've got to work together for good. You must know the value of what you've got. How can you know the value of what you've got if you can prove it? God says, prove me now in every Christian runs and says, yes, Lord. Tomorrow God says, prove me now. It's now. You know, Harry, if you don't start reading this verse, you'll do the same thing you did the other night. Luke chapter twelve, verse thirty one. This. Also, you can read in Matthew six thirty three, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. It's very interesting that he should shove righteousness in between. Seek ye first the kingdom of God. Many people want the benefits of the kingdom. That's true. But he said, seek ye first the kingdom of God for a different reason, and his righteousness. And all these things shall be added unto you. But here you have but rather a God, that all things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock, for it is your father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Hallelujah! It is the father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. How important is it to know about the kingdom of God, or to seek the kingdom of God. So important that Jesus said, seek ye first, not second, third, fifth. Seek ye first the kingdom of God. What good is a kingdom without a king? What good is a king without a kingdom? And every kingdom has its rules as in Israel, as also in the spirit. And so when you seek the kingdom of God, you must realize exactly what you're getting yourself into. The responsibility of preaching the kingdom. You don't teach the kingdom, you preach the kingdom. You'll find Paul saying that in the last verse of acts, chapter twenty eight, in the last verse. Now there's been a lot of misunderstanding when I said, you must be born again, you're born again of the spirit, as you read in, most of you know John three verse six, John three three, you must be born again, but you're born again by a spiritual birth into the kingdom of God. Now the misunderstanding that has come, and I think I'd like to correct it, because if I don't do so, you're not going to understand completely what I mean. You may hear many Christians saying, the kingdom of God is in you. Would you turn quickly to me, with me, to just you're in Luke now? Would you have a look at. Luke seventeen, verse twenty and twenty one. I think a lot of people who are reading the New Testament realize how much the kingdom of God is mentioned and how much teaching Jesus did about the kingdom, but also he advanced the kingdom everywhere he went by a demonstration of the power of that kingdom. And we learned last night, and I was really blessed in my spirit that we have a king. You know, if you go back in the Old Testament, you find most of the kings had to be great fighters, great warriors. They had to lead their people. We've got a mighty warrior. Hallelujah! Jesus! Captain of the Lord's host. What a wonderful warrior. He has conquered everything for us as the king. And then he gave us the kingdom that has conquered everything. Folks, we are more than conquerors through Christ that loved us more than conquerors. Isn't that wonderful? This question, then, about the kingdom of God being in you. I'd like to clear it up in verse twenty. And when he was demanded of the Pharisees. That's how they always approached him. When the kingdom of God should come. Remember when they asked him, who gave you authority? Thank you, Pharisees scribes, for admitting that he'd got authority. Hallelujah! Who gave it to you? Praise God when they say today. Who gave you authority? Why? You're not a bishop. Oh, I'm a priest and a king. Hallelujah. The only problem there is this. That most of us have to learn to live like a king and to offer up spiritual sacrifices like a priest. But God is teaching us, isn't he? There's a lovely kingly language. Jesus walked like a king. The fact it was a disadvantage, of course, in the natural to be born in a stable when you're a king. Doesn't help you very much, I can assure you. And when you're just a common carpenter. It doesn't really help you very much. You're going to have a hard job to prove to anybody you're a king. But I praise God the Lord Jesus Christ was so rich, oh, so wonderfully majestic, so absolutely pure. He had all the qualities in him, dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. In Colossians two verse nine. It was all there in the spiritual. I praise God that he came like he did. So none of us have an excuse for not being a king. Hallelujah! Now, you didn't get that. I'll come back next week. He answered them and said, the kingdom of God cometh. Not with observation. It's a spiritual kingdom. Never shall I say lo here or lo there. For behold, the kingdom of God is among you, or you've got it in your Bible within you. Now don't tell me, he would say to the scribes and the Pharisees who've rejected the king, because if you reject the king, you reject the kingdom. Don't tell me, he would say to them, and to their hardened hearts, the kingdom of God is within you. He would not. It's in the midst of you. Any objections to that? All right. If that's true, then the kingdom of God is in the midst of us. Then we must be born again into the kingdom is not born again into you. You are born again into the kingdom, and the king is in you. Hallelujah! After king is in you, then you're in the kingdom. If you put it that way, then all the rest of the New Testament fits into place. Amen. Praise God! There's only one door through into the kingdom of God. So there's no confusion. So when we preach the kingdom of God. Hallelujah! We preach that the the door is the cross. There's only one way in. And everything that is not of the kingdom of God has been deliberately settled at the cross. Stopped at the cross. Sealed at the cross. Judged at the cross. Dealt with at the cross. Now that's wonderful. So Jesus Christ, then, when he went around preaching the kingdom of God, he started to cast out devils. He showed you what was not in the kingdom of God by dealing with everything that was of Satan. Sickness is not in the kingdom of God. Why? Because the king came to demonstrate what his kingdom was like. Hallelujah! He didn't come to tell you. He came to demonstrate. And how did he demonstrate? Instead of getting sick when they touched him, he did not catch their sickness. They caught his health. Hallelujah. Then from that I must understand. There must be a spiritual law in this kingdom that is greater than any natural law. The law in Romans eight two of the spirit of life, which is in Christ Jesus, has made me free from sin and sickness and death, and anything that's related to death. Hallelujah! In the Kingdom of God you have got the same life as the King. How can you be a king if he's made you a king and a priest? How can you be a king in any less capacity as the King of kings? He shared his throne with you. Hallelujah! He's given you his name, showing you Hallelujah. The value by the value of it. By everything that he did. It's the father's good pleasure to give unto you the kingdom. But here's the poor old Jew waiting for the Messiah to come to deliver him from the tyranny of Rome. Oh, when the Messiah comes, when the King of Israel comes, he'll deal with you lot. And they were all waiting. There was uprisings here. Uprisings there. People were following this person, that person. When Jesus Christ came, he didn't come down from heaven on a great big charger with a machine gun. Oh. No, he came in the most unorthodox way. Which is always God's way. The way you don't least expect it. You see, God says, my thoughts are not your thoughts. Neither are my ways, your ways. But God in his wisdom put it in the Bible, and nobody saw it in their pride or in their desire because they were looking for the wrong type of king. But the poor heard him gladly, and those that were in the spirit. Hallelujah. When he was a little baby, he didn't say, hey, I'm Jesus, I'm the King of Israel, I have arrived. How about Elizabeth? Oh, Elizabeth. Filled with the Holy Ghost. Thank you. Jesus saw the king. Saw the Messiah. Mary. The same Simeon? Yes. All those who were filled with Jesus. Hallelujah! The prophets of old. Oh, yes. Abraham. What about you, Abraham? He rejoiced to see my day. What spiritual eyesight you've got two thousand years ahead. Oh, Hallelujah! In the spirit there is no such thing as time. Hallelujah! Oh, glory! He got a glimpse of the heavenly Jerusalem. All Abraham had set his eyes. Not just on a sun, not just on an inheritance for that son, but he went all the way to glory, a friend of God. Oh, God's got friends, but God gave you a friend that's going to stick to you. That's stickability. Huh? Amen. So stick around. He's a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Oh, I praise the Lord. He is to us. Everything that we need. And to think that God put everything in Christ so we shouldn't go anywhere else in the kingdom of God. Everything is perfect. But we must now learn these spiritual laws. We must learn to understand. Israel did not understand that their king had arrived. They didn't understand because of his approach to things. He did not come the religious way. He was not a methodist. And it made it very difficult. The Sadducees were miserable. That's one of the main reasons, of course, was they didn't believe in the resurrection. That makes anybody happy, doesn't it? Amen. So they didn't they didn't believe in the resurrection. That's why they were Sadducees. See. Though Paul wasn't around when Jesus preached, he had a tremendous insight into the kingdom of God. And I praise God that we can also have a spiritual insight into the kingdom of God and the provision of God. And we can begin to understand we don't have to be deaf like the Jew. You know, it was must have been very, very difficult for the disciples as they heard him preach. And then when he came to Matthew, what is it? Matthew twenty one, verse forty three, if you'd like to turn to it, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Acts and Romans follow on Matthew twenty one forty three therefore I say unto you, the kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation, bringing forth the fruit thereof. Jesus Christ brought forth the fruit, demonstrated all that was in the kingdom. Oh, I bless the Lord that he was so human people could touch him. Oh, isn't it wonderful? They could touch him, the hem of his garment. I wonder if that woman had a revelation of the high priest's garment. I wonder if she did. She went for the garment, the hem. I bless the Lord for all those people who, when they had a desire to find Jesus, to know him. You know God revealed it, Peter. Flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my father, which is in heaven. The father, can you imagine how the father felt about his son? He must have been holding back. And at last, after the baptism, here he comes out. This is my beloved son. Oh, he must have been waiting down through the ages to tell everyone. This is my beloved son. Seen a proud father with his child. First one son. This is my son. This. He could be as ugly as anything, but father can't see anything but beauty. But when father spoke from heaven. And no man knoweth the son, but whom the father reveals him to. Please remember, this spiritual realm is a revealing realm. God reveals to you what your mind cannot find out. God deliberately in everything that Jesus said, he got it from his father. But in everything that he said, God deliberately put it out of reach of the mind. He put it within reach of the desire of the spirit, the humble spirit. And so that many people heard him gladly. Some people did not like what they heard because they had values in their on the in the wrong things. They put values in other, other things. But those people that were seeking the King didn't miss him. Those that were seeking the Savior found him. Those that were seeking the healer, healer found him. As many as came to him. Hallelujah. As many. They were made perfectly whole. He healed them all. Do you know? Isn't it wonderful? He hasn't changed. I mean, the theologians have changed him and you know, and all the rest down through the ages. But he's not changed. And now the church is coming back to the revelation of the King. You will never know where you stand as a king until you know the king. You'll never know the power of the kingdom until you come into the experience of the power of the Holy Ghost for this. Hallelujah! This power of the spirit has been given for the demonstration of all the goodies and the goods and the fruit of that kingdom. Hallelujah! Paul said, in other words, defining the kingdom of God is not meat and drink. As I mentioned, not on the level of the stomach, not meat and drink in Romans fourteen seventeen, but righteousness. Remember that word. Righteousness. Righteousness. Righteousness. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. The kingdom of God is righteousness. This is the fruit when he came to Israel. He found no fruit of righteousness. He found a religious life, but no fruit. He said, I'm going to take it off you, the kingdom. You've rejected me, and there's no fruit of this kingdom, right? He said, I'm going to take it off you completely. But I haven't come here to deliver you from Rome. I've come here to deliver you from the power behind Rome. The devil himself. Jesus came to deal with principalities and powers and to make an open show of them. And he was manifested to destroy the works of Satan. For everything that God does is for something, and it's against something. Because there's evil in the world, there is opposition to God. Therefore, every word that God speaks by His Word, it has a two fold purpose first to you. And it's against something. Every word that God speaks is against something. It's against sickness, it's against Satan and all his works. So when you accept that word as being for you. Hallelujah. It's already dealing with the enemy and that which is against you. Isn't it wonderful? He sent his word and he healed them. The devil didn't send it back because he couldn't. When God speaks, his word is the first word, and it's the last word because nobody has a bigger word or a bigger word or a better way. We've got a God that's got a word today for the church. Hallelujah! Come on, get excited, for goodness sake, we've got a word. Today, the Lord Jesus Christ spake, and oh, he gave himself in what he said he gave himself. He gave heaven in what he said. He ministered the kingdom in what he said. He said the words that I speak unto you. But before the beginning of that verse he said, talking about flesh and blood, you know, a lot of people had their faith in flesh and blood, and they were looking for something in the natural, but the flesh profiteth nothing. It is the spirit that quickeneth. The spirit that makes alive folks. Isn't it wonderful? And the words that I speak unto you. They are spirit and they are life. What does it mean? It means that every word that Jesus had for those that were open, Hallelujah! That word was himself. The word was God, and the word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us. And when they touched the living word, what happened? They were made perfectly whole when he sent his word. They were made whole. Oh, bless his lovely name. He has given us a creative word today. A word that is so powerful. You don't have to think about its return. God doesn't have to look, though he does look over his word to perform it. God doesn't have to worry about his word. Remember when Jesus cursed the fig tree in Mark chapter eleven? You are still here, aren't you? He cursed the fig tree. And Peter in verse twenty twenty one brought it to his remembrance. On the way back from Bethany he said, Lord, you see the fig tree that you cursed has withered away. But he said, look, Lord Jesus wasn't looking. He never had to look after any word that he spoke. Why? Because the word was fulfilled before he spake it, by virtue of the fact of who was speaking. You get it, folks? The word is the evidence to faith. The word, because of its origin, has already been fulfilled. God never sends or wastes one word, every word that's given every word. Now, I think this is tremendously valuable for the church today. You know, the the sorry, the Pharisees and scribes, they took notice of the word of God. Most people don't realize the full value of it, but they took notice. The opposition took notice because they saw what that word did for where is it? Luke chapter four, verse thirty six. Isn't it? Yes it is. Just checking. What a word is this? What a word is this? With power and authority he casts out evil spirits with his word. Hallelujah! Isn't that wonderful? With his word. Folks, can anybody tell me where the Word of God is? Where is it available? Oh, if only we could have the Word of God. If we could have the Word of God in our hands. Just think what we could do if we had the name of Jesus. Just think what we could do if we had the power of the Holy Ghost. Just think what we could do. Well, we've had it all for long enough. What have we done? Nothing. Now revelation comes by the spirit. God's brought teachers who not alone impart knowledge, but they impart life. Revelation coming now by the spirit, revealing to us what we are in Christ, what we've got in Christ, and what we can do in Christ, folks, we are set free from what we are, what we've got, and what we can do. When we're in Christ Jesus. We're set free from the limitations of the natural to move in the unlimited supply of God. Think of that. Think you're now in a position God has put you in a position where now you can represent him. When Derek was ministering last night, God really blessed me because when it all finished, the Lord just gave me a word. And always he satisfies my heart with good things. And where there is a need for a word, God has always got a word for that need. Isn't it lovely? You know, sometimes you can send a person away to seek the Lord. I remember my one. Sorry. Easy. I remember my wife once. Let me finish the sentence. I remember many times. I remember my wife once asking me to pray for her because she was sick and I refused. Refused. I said, you know, seek the Lord and ask him for a word. I think I prayed that was the second time I prayed for you. Was it you can't remember? My wife has a very poor memory. It's because she's getting old. I can't say this when I'm home. Only here. That's not true. But I remember. And it was in a caravan, right? I can't remember it. And she went back inside and waited on the Lord. She was very sick. Wait on the Lord and got a word from heaven and came out rejoicing. Completely healed. You see, it's all right for me to pray and minister to my wife. But there are times when my wife must receive directly from God herself, because I'm not always going to be present. I'm not always on the phone, but God's always on the throne. It's true. Now, when I. When I got married. Hallelujah! I said to my wife, we are called to live by faith, dear. But her husband had to offer just the life of faith. He said, you're called. I'm not. And I said, listen, if I'm called, you're called. No, no, God's got to call me separately. So she sought the Lord, and God called her separately and then later on. Or she's awkward later on. But it helps me a great deal, because if I got my way in everything, I wouldn't like to say what a mess I'd be in now. But later on, God showed me this when I had to be away from her once for three months, unable to send her any money, she lived by her own calling, by her own faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. And when I got home, there wasn't a bill that was unpaid. She ran out of money the day I arrived, but a lot of other people around the country had been ministered to financially by her. So my wife is not dependent on my faith. Praise God. That's very good. Believe you me, she's got a faith of her own in the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, when I'm away, she enjoys the Lord gets closer to the Lord. Not that I'm saying that when I'm present, I keep her from the Lord. I had to justify myself there. But that's very important. Husband and wife, if you can remember that. It's all right. Wife to shelter behind your husband. But what about if God takes your husband? What about if something happens? What about if he's away when something happens to the children? I remember when little Ruthie was very, very tiny, and Jill was with me, and we were out in the car and we were walking along a bank, and she fell off and there was stones. Sharp stones on the road. And one went into her head and I pulled it out, and the blood started to spurt out. And I got my handkerchief and put it there, and the blood started coming through my handkerchief and my fingers. And then I got a rag in the car and put it next to the handkerchief. And I saw coming through the rag, and I realized there wasn't much hope of getting her to hospital at the rate she was bleeding, you know, there wasn't much hope of getting. I was right out of the country. So I said to Jill, and I remember looking at her, and she looked at me and saw no fear of panic. And this is most important when you're ministering to your children, make sure you never minister in panic or in fear, because you'll impart that panic and fear and they won't be able to believe with you. First, you must be still. Keep your spirits. I know your person is bleeding to death, but don't worry about that. At that moment, the most important thing is not what's happening to her. It's what's happening to you. And once you've got that piece, I said to Jill, we're going to pray for Ruthie now and ask Jesus. And it was pumping out. I said, I'm going to ask Jesus to stop the bleeding. And so I had to get her to agree with me. And we prayed. And the moment I prayed, not one more drop of blood came out of that. If you look at my little daughter's head, you'll see the scar there. Not one more drop of blood came out, and I was so grateful to be in touch with heaven. This is so important to be in touch with heaven. And when you're in touch with heaven, you can minister immediately. You may only have 10s to minister. And if you're if you are two days of fasting and praying away from God, you've lost it. It pays to be in tune and stay in tune, when all of a sudden the starboard engine of the plane starts to cough and you think of your coughing. Listen, folks, we're not going down. We're going up. Hallelujah! But it's then. Then you've got to know. Are you traveling in the will of God? Are you in tune with God now? The peace that passeth all understanding. There must be a reason for peace that passeth all understanding. And there is tonight. And you know what the reason is? God is the reason. You don't need reason when God is the reason. Hallelujah! You can be free. Oh, I bless the Lord for what he's doing today. He is teaching us how to live in this wonderful realm of His Spirit, in the power of the Holy Ghost. Now, if the Kingdom of God is the realm of the spirit, spirit righteousness, joy, peace in the Holy Ghost, Hallelujah! How is it then we find it so difficult to live in this spiritual realm? Well, it's simply because we've lived in the natural realm so long we have been ruled by our own head now to come under. The the direct rule of the head, Jesus Christ, to absolutely submit our thoughts to him, to bring our thoughts into subjection to him, to have, in other words, to have a ruler over us. It's very difficult and it's very difficult to live and walk in the spirit. I'm not saying it's easy. It's difficult. It doesn't say in the Bible it would be easy. But Paul said in Galatians five twenty five, if you live in the spirit, don't sit in the spirit. That's my version. Derek can have his version. I can have my version. Don't sit in the spirit. Too many Christians singing, standing on the promises of God while they're sitting in the premises. Don't sit, he says, walking in the spirit. If you are moving in the Spirit of God, things around you are changing. Things around you are also moving. I bless God that the church is moving and now what's happening around the world? The world has to sit up and take notice, for you must remember, the world has said a little while ago that God is dead. Well, who told him? Come on. There must be somebody here who told him. Well, the Russians did. Well, they don't believe there is a god. So they wouldn't take any notice of the Russians. The only people they would take notice of is the people that represent God. That's the church. We've lived as if God has been dead. Now all of a sudden, the Holy Ghost has arrived in a wonderful way, moving upon the church and making the book live. Hallelujah! Spiritual realities coming out, people being empowered. Gifts begin to flow. All sorts of things happening beyond the natural, beyond the ability of man to perform. God is in business. Hallelujah. He's always been in business. He's just looking for a few people to be in the right place so that he can do what he desires to do. God so loved the world that he gave. God is forever giving and the church is not in need. The church is here to represent God's supply. The Lord Jesus Christ had everything going for him, and we only saw the wisdom of God when he had opposition. And how did Satan feel about him? Those that were demon possessed. Oh, art thou come to torment us before our time? They were frightened to death of him. If God is love, Satan's fear. Fear does not belong to the kingdom of God. In this spiritual realm, fear is not an inheritance, for God hath not. In two Timothy one seven given us the spirit of fear, but love, and of power, and of a sound mind? What God has given us, Hallelujah, keeps us from what Satan is attacking us with. I love the Lord tonight because he has given us so much. And folks, we've experienced so little. And he loves us just the same. How would you feel if you had given this book? And so few people believed it? What changed my life? Many years ago, I was waiting on the Lord on a Saturday for a message for Sunday years ago, and the Lord appeared before me holding the Bible like this. He looked at me and he didn't say a word in the spirit. You don't speak. Sometimes you know exactly what's happening. It's all revealed to you the emotion of the Lord himself also being revealed to you how he feels about what he is saying to you, even though he's not uttering words. Some of you have experienced this, so you know what I'm talking about. This changed my life. He held the Bible and he looked at me and this is what came over to me. He said, oh, Harry, if I could find just someone to believe it. And I began to cry. I wept and he said, that is how I feel. I have given so much. But they don't believe it. They don't believe it. The centurion came to Jesus and said, Lord, speak the word only. I know you're under authority as you speak the word only. Speak the word only. Why? Oh, bless the Lord. This man wanted results, and he got them by the word of God. Didn't go home for the results. He went home with them. When you come to God. Hallelujah. You've come for the results. When you come for healing, you've come for the results. You cannot come to God, who has given you by a new covenant, made it absolutely legal. Forget grace for a moment. For a moment. It's absolutely legal. God is as legal as can be. Absolutely. He wants to tie himself down to you. So you've got him. You can hold God by his word. Oh, isn't it wonderful that God would put himself within the reach of our faith? That we could hold God by His word? Oh, hallelujah. You can step out on God's Word, and God has to fulfill His Word that he has promised. If you fulfill the conditions, he's committed to His word. Isn't that great? Amen. It is great. Just think who can be as committed as God. Who is the only person at any time of the day and night can fulfill his word? Who is the only person that wants to do it all the time? There's only one person. That's my God. Oh, the The Lord Jesus Christ had a word. Such a word is this. He had a word for everyone. He had a touch for everyone, and all he was doing was demonstrating a normal, kingly priestly life. We heard a normal life. He lived a normal life. Wasn't that wonderful? You didn't hear him all of a sudden in the market square saying, stop, everyone, stop! God is speaking to me. He didn't go round dressed up differently than everybody else. The Lord Jesus Christ was so normal he upset the religious people. A normal spiritual life must affect every aspect of our life. It must do. The Lord Jesus Christ went to homes when he was tired. He went to sleep. When the winds and waves wouldn't obey him, he just reminded them who was the creator. All things were made by him. For him he walked naturally. He didn't worry about things because things couldn't be against him. All things were created by him. For him in his father's will was complete protection. And if his father wanted him to go across the other side and the winds and waves didn't, now they didn't disturb him. They only disturbed the people who were looking not at the Lord, but at the winds and waves. So the storm, which was outside the boat now through their fear, came into the boat. And so instead of them remembering what Jesus said, I'm going across, I'm, in other words, going over now they begin to look at the storm and they begin to be affected by the storm. Instead of thinking going, they were going over. They're now going under. And it's like many of us, we take our eyes off Jesus. Praise the Lord today. The Spirit of God now is opening our eyes to see our position. When the child of God takes his rightful position. Satan has to take his. You remember that statement? Write it down so you can remember it. When the when you are actually taking your position as a son, as a king, as a priest, as we've heard. Because I want to keep this in your mind because I think it's vital. God has emphasized it in every way and vindicated it. When you take the place, the God given place on the throne, then the devil must take his place under your feet. We are here to put the devil in his rightful place. Now I have, I can. Would you just read with me just a few verses? One one verse in Colossians. Colossians chapter two comes directly after chapter one. No, sorry. Colossians chapter one. It's just that I want you to turn the page back because the draft is really wonderful. Refreshing. When Jesus said, take the kingdom from you and give it to a nation that shall bring forth the fruit fruit thereof. Can you remember last night when Derek Prince said, um. Quoting, uh, one Peter two verse nine, who is the nation that are going to bring forth the fruit thereof? Can anybody remember what's in that verse without looking at it? What he says about a nation. One Peter two. Verse nine. A holy nation. Hallelujah. Amen. A peculiar people. You forgot to say that. Some more peculiar than others, but a holy nation. And I can understand the feeling of the disciples. After the resurrection, I wonder how they really felt. Don't worry. I'll come to this verse in another hour. How did they feel? I looked a lot of things were happening. How did they feel? I want you while you've got your finger. I don't know where I caught this from. Well, you got your finger in Colossians. Will you turn to acts chapter one? You got to hand it to me. Just that in between. I want to keep you awake. When they were therefore come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, it is not for you to know the times or the seasons which the father had put into his own power. Now do you know what he did then? He went straight into it. But after. But ye shall receive power. After that the Holy Ghost is come upon you. Ye shall be witnesses unto me, but ye shall receive power. After that the Holy Ghost is come upon you. Now this is very significant, because when Paul said in one Corinthians four twenty. The kingdom of God is in not. Word or talk, but in power. Remember who got the keys, Peter. And in the day of Pentecost. Hallelujah! Away he went in the power of the Holy Ghost. Opened up the whole thing. Now this to me is amazing. That Jesus took their eyes off the times and the seasons, but he was foremost in their mind. They wanted to know, Lord, all this happening. Are you going to now going to restore? Are you going to, you know, forget the whole deal. You know Israel rejecting. Will you restore it now? No. Now the kingdom has been taken from them and given to a nation that shall bring forth the fruit. Their rejection allowed the Gentiles to have presented to them the good news, the wonderful salvation. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. And as many as received him, to them gave he power or authority or the legal right to become the sons of God. Folks, we are very, very privileged. How privileged we are and how grateful I am to the Jew for keeping the Old Testament and everything else. But with that full realization of how much he rejected that, you will never be sorry until he sees how much he's rejected. He must see it. And the Prime minister, the old prime minister who died just recently, uh, Goring Ben Gurion. Um, I had a friend of mine who went to see him one day and he said to, uh, the Prime Minister, have you read the New Testament? And he brought the claims of Christ to him, and then he. Sorry. And then he said, have you read the New Testament? He said, I think I've read the New Testament more than most Christians. He said, but he said, I'll consider Christianity when I see the people of the New Testament. I'll consider the claims, he said of Christianity. When I see the people of the New Testament. Well, I'll tell you, if you lived a little longer, you'd see more than the people. Hallelujah! Hallelujah. And it's only right, isn't it? The evidence. Jesus said. Believe me, for the work's sake. This is what the world has to see. First it works. Then they'll see the works. And then the devil will get the works. Hallelujah! So you keep that in mind. How the Jew felt. And begin to understand what was foremost in their mind. And when Jesus Christ brought a spiritual kingdom. They didn't want it. They didn't want something for eternity. They wanted something for right now. Deliverance from their position and condition right now. And many Christians are the same. They want to get out of the situation. If only I had a different job. If only God had given me a better wife. You know, get out of the situation. Anything. Now, that wasn't the prayer, Lord. But that's not how God works. Somebody had to go through the fire and show us. Paul. Thank you. Have you ever said thank you to Paul? I have many times said, thank you, Paul. Bless you down in the dungeon. Hallelujah. When you find yourself in the cell of affliction. Paul, look for the wine. Hallelujah. For God, there's no cellars in New Zealand. What did you have down in the cellar? Well, we had a tremendous meeting. Were you comfortable? Yes. And did you take stock of the situation? No. Well, Paul, don't tell me that you could possibly derive anything from that situation that would make you happy, rejoicing and praising God. No, we didn't get anything from the situation. You see, we were seated not in stocks, but in heavenly places and in the presence of God. What's there are pleasures forevermore. Hallelujah! Folks, when there's nothing in the natural. Praise God you've got everything in the spiritual. When they take everything from you. Poor old job. They robbed him of everything. Satan robbed him of everything. And what did you know? Bless his heart, he found when he'd lost everything, he hadn't lost the Lord. The Lord became the most precious thing in God because he was the only thing he'd got. The only person he'd got left. The person that really loved him. And he said, yet though he slay me, will I yet though he slay me, will I trust him? Bless the Lord. He found a testimony in a situation like that. Why did job lose everything? Because he had a fear of losing everything. The thing that I feared most has come upon me, and many Christians are the same. Have a fearful thought that they could lose something. And I tell you what you can lose, you can lose. But what you give to God, you can never lose. He's got to lose it. Now you where you've got a fear. Whatever it might be. For your family, for your property, whatever it is, you can lose it. Now, you check on that when you go home tonight. What am I fearful of losing? Give it to the Lord quickly before you lose it. Job. You have a fear of losing everything. What did you lose? Job. Everything. Thank you. And then when he lost everything. God in his wonderful wisdom. Let the devil go so far so that he could remove one thing from job that he didn't know he was removing. And what was that? The fear of losing everything. Ha ha ha! When you've lost everything, you've lost the fear of losing everything. Praise God. You don't think my god's a fool, do you? The only fool around here is the devil. He made one great mistake. You know the wisdom of God is beyond him. Those things that are spiritual are beyond him. He can wait till you interpret it or bring it out, and then he can counterfeit it and so forth. He had a job in interpreting Scripture. You know, the devil has. He has a real problem. And if you if you're walking or moving in the spirit, you're one step ahead of him. So he never catches up with you. It's only when you stop walking in the spirit does he catch up with you. You meet Christians and they've stopped walking. When you meet Christians with problems, you ask them why they've got problems. They've stopped walking. They've stopped moving. They've stopped going in God's direction. They've stopped seeking the Lord. Most of our problems come out of the fact that we're not seeking God. That's true. All those little niggly things come out of the fact that you don't have a right relationship with God. Am I getting on to you? Yes. Thank you. Colossians one chapter. One verse. Twelve giving thanks unto the father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in a certain area. The inheritance is in light, folks. There's nothing in darkness for you whatsoever. And the power and the effect of the of the blood is only in effect when you're walking in the light. If you walk in the light as he is in the light, then the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses us from all sin. Folks, the light allows us to understand and to see what God is doing and to receive what he's given us from heaven. Who hath delivered us? And he doesn't finish. You know who hath delivered us from the power of darkness? Where I mentioned the other night, and had translated us into the kingdom of his dear son. Whose kingdom is it? The kingdom of his dear son. Now it's going to come to an end one day, and Jesus is going to give it up. And let me just turn quickly to one Corinthians chapter fifteen, verse twenty four. Then cometh the end. Some of you are still turning. I will commence to replenish as long as the water lasts, so will I. Then come at the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the father, when he shall have put down all rule, and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. And this is the position of the church today. Not alone have we been born again spiritually into a wonderful kingdom, a kingdom of kings and priests. And I love it. We're all equal in grace. Praise the Lord. I don't have a bigger crown than you because I have a bigger head. And I think it's precious of the Lord to bring this wonderful unity of the spirit about. And all he asks us to do is to keep it. Now Jesus is going to bring everything to an end. And God spoke to me this afternoon very clearly again. And he said, everything that I begin, I'm going to end. And when I begin something in perfection, even if it becomes, in other words, marred in between, I shall bring it forth in the end or at the end in perfection. Mankind was marred, but at the end, praise God. He's going to bring forth perfection. He's going to have a bride. Hallelujah! A bride without spot and without blemish. And only God could do it. When I look at the material sometimes. Well, praise God, that's not my job. You know. That's when I look in the mirror every morning. But I reflect not on what I see, but on what God says. Oh, isn't it wonderful? He is able. Hallelujah! He is able. We've got a God that's able, folks. Whatever is happening at this moment, the best is yet to come. You are going towards perfection. Hallelujah! Every step that you take, every word that you believe. It's God bringing you in deeper in, and you're coming out of the bondage that you've been in. God is perfecting that which concerneth him. And we are the concern. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. But Jesus loved the church and voluntary gave himself. Hallelujah! He gave himself nothing less than himself. He didn't just give his spirit. He gave his whole life. He gave his. He gave his health, his wealth. Hallelujah! Oh, I'm going to mention wealth a little later on. I love to see rich people. Most of God's children don't see themselves as rich. Have you noticed that, Derek? Wherever you go, they say the poor you have with you always. You know, they think that it's. You know, it's a hallmark of spirituality to be poverty stricken. They think they have holes in your shoes means that you've got a holy soul. You're absolutely wrong. Absolutely wrong. God will give you to the measure of your faith, to the measure also of your maturity. What you can hold for the glory of God. God will give you accordingly. And if God withholds anything, it's simply because if he gave it, it would destroy you. The best for you and when it's your choice, is not always the best for you. God's choice is the best. You go to God for a car and he said, I'm going to give you a bicycle. And then you think there's something wrong. Psychological. God gives me a bicycle. What is wrong? It's simply this that you ride the bicycle in humility, in humility, and you'll ride the car in pride. How would you like a nice crash? Pride cometh before a crash. Revised version. Harry Greenwood. And God, in his wisdom, has given many people to hold things for the glory of God. A man says to me, well, I'm a very rich man. I said, well, I've got the same amount as you have. Oh, he said, have you seen my bank account? I said, have you seen mine? You can't bank on yours. I can. Listen, what you've got down here, you can lose. Somebody once said you can't take your money to heaven. It's not quite true. You can send it ahead. I know it's too deep. It's too true. Hallelujah. You know, the moment you mention money amongst Christians, you quench the spirit. I always wonder what spirit. I mustn't be mean. But there are some people when it comes to the offering. If God spoke to them and said ten dollars, they'd think it was the devil. Anything above one dollar is not God. God's always told me to give one dollar. Listen, your spiritual life is measured also in your giving. If you are not increasing in your giving, there's something wrong in your spiritual life. I don't give the same as I gave last year. I'm now giving in four figures. I'm not boasting about it, not much. But God says if you're going to receive in four figures, you must give in four figures. But I still end up with the same working amount for my home and for my family. It's incredible. And I love it. And I think, thank you Lord. And he shows me just how rich he is. I mean, he owns the cattle. Beg your pardon? He owns the sheep on a thousand hills. The only problem is getting him off his children. I'm being mean, I mustn't, I mustn't, I mustn't. Jesus was made poor. That through his poverty we might be made rich. The only way you can glorify Jesus Christ and the provision of God is to live in his wealth, his prosperity. Folks, that is not measured by how much you've got in your pocket. It's how much you believe you have access to should you need it. God supplies all your need, but not your greed. Simple. Do you know a man came to me, a minister, and he said, I went to United States, Harry. And, you know, they didn't even pay my fare home. Well, I thought that was unfair. So I said to myself, now, I mean, you know, Derek, this is true. If you if you just can't get your fare home from America, well, you just can't get your fare home from anywhere. The Americans are tremendous givers. Not as good as the New Zealand givers. After we hear what the offering says, that's faith speaking. This is the right moment, if you want to say it. All right. You weren't ready. You had your opportunity. And I asked the Lord because I like to learn by other people's mistakes. I make so many myself and everybody else benefits by them. So I say, well, why shouldn't I benefit by their mistakes? I said, Lord, what went wrong? And do you know what God said to him? And he gave me a key. He said, this man doesn't know what need is. I thought doesn't know what need is. And then he revealed what he meant to me because I'm a bit thick. He said, when this man asked me to meet his need, he had already in mind two things. If I didn't meet his need, he would borrow the money. And if I didn't meet his need, he would send home for it if he couldn't borrow it. So as a matter of fact, he wasn't in need because he had two alternatives. Folks, when you ask God for something, you've got to be in a position where nobody else can meet it. It's if you find yourself in that desperate situation, praise God. When can you remember when God really supplied your need? Were you desperate? Can you remember when you really prayed? God, if you don't move in quick, I've had it. Well, if we could all pray like that all the time, wouldn't it be wonderful? And we say, Lord, don't bring me to a situation like that where I where it's sink or swim. Let me paddle a little. The church is moving out in the realm of God, where if God doesn't supply their needs, they've had it. You know, I got a Jehovah's Witness once, and the poor gentleman was flabbergasted. You know, they say many things to you, and with me it goes in one ear and out the other. No rude comments, please. Nothing to stop it. But the point was. Good to have friends behind you. Now, I don't argue with people. And may I give this little message to many Christians? Please don't defend God and don't argue with people. I don't argue. As a matter of fact, with communists and people like that, and people ask me why I don't. I said because simply because I've won one. Won the argument. I said, I've got the best message. There isn't a better message. So why argue? That's Irish logic. It's absolutely true. I am not a. I do not, from the pulpit at any time fight against certain things. I refuse to because I've got too much to preach for. And what you get for praise God is better and overcomes and settles the argument about what is against you. And I believe that I can give you a simple illustration if you like. Anybody know where London is? You take a left turn when you get on the end of the street, and a few thousand miles later you're in there, right in Hyde Park. Have you ever heard of Hyde Park? you have. Well, it's a lovely big park. Well, one day there was a young preacher up there preaching his heart out. When you're a good preacher, that's what you're just about doing. And he was having a tremendous time going ahead, like young preachers do. I can remember. Thank you for your sympathy. Now, if you're really good, if you're really good, you get an audience and they'll stay there. If you're not, you'll have a fruitful time. I think I've said something funny somewhere. And this young man was doing fine until this young communists on the outskirts of the crowd couldn't stand it any longer. He said stop. Dramatic. Communism, he said. And then he points Christianity. What has he got to offer? Pie in the sky when you die. Communism, he said, is practical. You see this dirty tramp here? Communism can put a new suit on this man. Preacher was stuck for a minute. Heaven wasn't stuck. Inspiration came. And then, in the same loud and dramatic way, he said, that's nothing. He said Christianity can put a new man in that suit. I believe we have the greatest message. We have the greatest message, folks. We have a wonderful God. Don't defend him. Don't get involved. And so today, the Christian can be completely free to minister. You have no opposition. Now tell me where the opposition is. If you're more than a conqueror. You don't go out for the victory. You go out in it. Oh, if only we could come into the full realization of what he's really accomplished for us. The world will never know what Jesus accomplished for us, nor will they ever look to the cross until they see a people living and walking in the good of all that is accomplished. I praise God tonight that in the kingdom of God you've got his health, his wealth, his life, his spirit, his joy, and all that you've got cannot be touched. And you cannot lose it because it's in him. You can lose the experience of it. Yes, it's quite true. You can lose the experience of joy, but it's still in the Lord. Isn't it wonderful to have a person that'll never leave you nor forsake you? Oh, I mentioned when? About Derek the other night. I don't think I finished it, but the verse that God gave me was. As he is. Oh, Hallelujah. Why is it? One John four seventeen. Or is it three. Four? Four seventeen. Thank you. As he is. Hallelujah. As he is, so are we in this world. Kings and priests unto God. Remember in Daniel. Yes. He gives the kingdom to the saints of the Most High. And they shall possess the kingdom. I haven't got time to go into it, but it's wonderful, folks. We are today coming into a complete possession of the Kingdom of God. And that, and as deep as we're in the revelation of the kingdom, that will be as effective. Sorry. We'll be as effective in our ministry of it. The Lord Jesus Christ knew he was a king. And when Pilate faced him. Oh, bless the Lord. Isn't he wonderful? You're getting tired. You're not. It's just that I saw four or five of you sleeping. I just thought maybe it was. But he said in where is it? John eighteen. John eighteen, verse thirty six. If my kingdom was of this world, then would my disciples fight? Folks, the Lord Jesus Christ took the swords off the disciples when Peter cut off the servant of the high priest's ear. He said, put it away. That's finished, completed no more sword. And he put a sword in the hand of the child of God. And it's called the sword of the spirit, and it's sharper than any two edged sword. We are the most armed generation. Did you realize that there's ever been. There's never been a greater army in the training, in the preparation. And when God starts preparing an army. Ah, I look out for the fight. The bigger the training, the greater the weapons, the greater the fight. When Satan's best comes against God's best. I know the outcome, folks. We've been trained for the days that are to come, and we're going to be like a mighty army. We're going to march on the strongholds. Strongholds have been built up over the years while the church has been sleeping. But folks, the weapons that God has given us are mighty through God to the pulling down of the strongholds. He didn't say the tin huts. He said the strongholds. Something that's been built against God and the advance of the spirit and the advance of the church and the advance of the army. We're going to pull it down and the devil is going to be made an open show of, and Christ is going to triumph, and he's going to reign in the church until all that he's accomplished in his death and resurrection is manifested through the church to the glory of God. He's going to have his glory in the church in a wonderful victory that will be seen by the whole world, because the worst will be seen against us bringing out the best. And it'll flabbergast everyone. Folks, the world is going to be really shook up. Oh yes, they don't say God is dead now, because there's a very uncomfortable feeling around the world that he's alive. As we then become alive to the spirit, as we begin to preach from this spiritual realm and take the unseen out by faith, by believing that we possess it, by God's Word, and minister it and see it happen before our eyes, we'll know the true value of the spirit. We'll know the true value of the Word of God. We'll know the true value of the weapons as we use them. We'll know the true value of all that Jesus Christ has accomplished, and then to him be glory in the church forever. Amen. To him be glory. The head must be glorified in. In the head must be glorified and revealed to the world, not just glorified in heaven, but glorified on earth. Hallelujah! They're going to see the glory of the Lord, and they won't be able to stop what God is doing. They can't do it now, because the more persecution that comes against the church, Hallelujah, the more they come into to overcome it. Folks, we've had it very easy so far. We're going to have it very difficult and it's going to be wonderful. You're going to be closer to each other. God is going to do a new thing, and it's going to spring forth because it's been kept down so long by theology, fear, demons and everything else. But it's going to burst forth and spread throughout the whole world, and there's nobody going to be able to stop the last move because, as Derek said, nobody is big enough to put a roof on this. Hallelujah! Glory be to God. It's wonderful. Hallelujah. Excuse me. Getting so thrilled, but I believe what I preach. Nobody else does. Now, I'm sorry tonight to tell you some rather negative things. There are certain things, and I close with these few words. Miracle! You are not allowed certain things in the kingdom of God. You can't bring them in through the cross. I'm sorry. You've got to leave them behind. And everything that you don't allow to be dealt with at the cross is still under judgment. At which the cross is not dealt with is still under judgment in your life. And my life and judgment must first begin at the household of God, according to Peter. All right. Now there are some things that you're not allowed. I'm sorry. You're not allowed sickness. You'll have to give it up. I'm afraid you'll have to get used to being in health. I know it's going to be difficult, but you've just got to get used to it. You're not allowed poverty, I'm afraid. Nor are you allowed fear, not allowed demons. There is so much that you're not allowed. The cross has disallowed it for you. And now the covenant allows you in the place. All that he manifested. That could not be over. Come now. Let's face it. It was exposed to everything. Everything that Jesus was, was exposed to everything. He sold his spirit and his body and he caught nothing. Hallelujah. He overcame naturally. And now he has made us to triumph in Christ, folks. We're living on the other side of death. The grave. We're living in the throne room. And it's lovely to be in the throne room, looking down at what some people are looking up at, but looking down from the place of authority. This is not just a theory, this is a real fact. We are seated together in heavenly places. Hallelujah, folks! Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. What's the head like tonight? Sick as he is, so are we in this world. We've only got his health. And that Christ may be manifest in your mortal flesh. Two Corinthians chapter four, verse ten and eleven. Christ may be manifested in every aspect of your life, and he can only be manifested in what he is the life, the truth, the way Jesus is alive tonight, but he's alive in you New and we're now being saved by his life. Oh. It's glorious. I wish somebody dance or jump up or do something. Oh, men. Brother. God save. Thank you, Lord. Save now. Because I actually believe. Because I actually believe what I preached tonight. I believe that many of you have seen what God has been saying to you and have entered in already. So many people get healed in my meetings, and I have to tell them that they're healed. It's ridiculous because if I don't tell you that you're healed, you're going to go outside and and say, oh, just a moment, I feel good. I better go back in and pick up that sickness. You know, so many people, you know, think that well because they feel good. It's only just something for a moment. And they're going to be sick again tomorrow. Tonight, in a few moments, while we're just resting in the Lord, I'm going to pray for people.
