What is Gospel Portions?

Reminders of the gospel that was preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, that you may hold fast to the word preached to you.

Ryan Bush:

Come, let us return to the Lord for he has torn us that he may heal us. He has struck us down and he will bind us up. After two days, he will revive us. On the third day, he will raise us up that we may live before him. Let us know. Let us press on to know the Lord. His going out is sure as the dawn. He will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth. Hosea 6:1-3.

Ryan Bush:

Time cannot change him in his love. Ye may yourself ebb and flow, rise and fall, wax and wane. But your Lord is this day as he was yesterday, and it is your comfort that your salvation is not rolled upon wills of your own making, neither have ye to do with a Christ of your own shaping. God hath singled out a mediator, strong and mighty. If ye and your burdens were as heavy as 10 hills or hells, he is able to bury you and save you to the uttermost. Your often seeking to him cannot make you a burden to him. Samuel Rutherford.
