Auxano

In this powerful episode of Auxano, Pastor Wisdom unpacks the true meaning of “Auxano” — the Greek word for growth, increase, and continual augmentation. Drawing from Colossians 1:9–10 and 2 Peter 3:18, he teaches that the foundation of spiritual growth is growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

This message emphasizes that believers are no longer under the law but under grace. Through Christ’s finished work, we are forgiven, justified, made righteous, and given a new nature. Pastor Wisdom explains how understanding righteousness and grace transforms identity, destroys fear, breaks the power of sin and addiction, and builds unshakable confidence in God.

Key themes in this episode:

  • What it truly means to grow spiritually
  • The difference between law and grace
  • Righteousness consciousness vs. sin consciousness
  • Living boldly with access to God
  • Enforcing Christ’s victory in daily life

This episode is both a teaching and a declaration — reminding every listener that in Christ, you are forgiven, victorious, and empowered to flourish in every area of life.

Pray. Learn. Grow.

What is Auxano?

Auxano is a faith-centered community devoted to spiritual growth, renewal, and purposeful living.

The name Auxano is a Hebrew word meaning growth, increase, and becoming better — a powerful reflection of the vision behind this gathering. Inspired by scriptures such as Luke 2:40 and Colossians 1:10, this podcast is a space where believers are encouraged to grow stronger in spirit, deepen in wisdom, and increase in the knowledge of God.

Many of us love God and desire to walk closely with Him, yet life’s pressures can sometimes dim our spiritual flame. Auxano exists to rekindle that fire. Through prayer, teaching, sharing, and pastoral guidance, each episode creates an opportunity for revival, strengthening, and transformation.

Every session reflects our heartbeat:

Pray. Learn. Grow.

Join us weekly as we seek God together, grow in faith, and step boldly into the purpose He has called us to fulfill.

00:00:26 [Speaker 1]
I was not able to go into the depths of it.
00:00:29 [Speaker 1]
So I'm recording the sermon net to, help you to provide the word of God to you in an easy to digest manner.
00:00:38 [Speaker 1]

00:00:54 [Speaker 1]
So let's pray, and that will get into the meat of the matter.

00:00:58 [Speaker 1]
Let's pray.
00:00:58 [Speaker 1]
Father, thank you for this opportunity we have.
00:01:01 [Speaker 1]

00:01:04 [Speaker 1]
I pray for open hearts, and I pray for open ears.
00:01:08 [Speaker 1]

00:01:16 [Speaker 1]
Let every hearer of this message be strengthened by the power of your holy spirit.
00:01:21 [Speaker 1]
In Jesus' mighty name, the son of God.
00:01:24 [Speaker 1]
Amen.
00:01:25 [Speaker 1]
I want you to shout amen wherever you are.
00:01:28 [Speaker 1]
Amen.

00:01:29 [Speaker 1]
Alright.
00:01:29 [Speaker 1]
So today, I'm speaking about OXANO.
00:01:32 [Speaker 1]
And, so the title is OXANO, but, the subtitle is what you should grow in.
00:01:40 [Speaker 1]
Okay.
00:01:43 [Speaker 1]
Oxano means growth.

00:01:45 [Speaker 1]
Let me show you, a scripture that highlights what oxano is.
00:01:50 [Speaker 1]
Oxano is a Greek word that means growth.
00:01:53 [Speaker 1]
And you see that in Colossians one, from the verse nine.
00:01:58 [Speaker 1]
This is a prayer Paul prayed for the church in Colos and he used that word, in particular and we can appreciate what it means from here.
00:02:08 [Speaker 1]
So let's read it.

00:02:08 [Speaker 1]
Colossians chapter one verse nine.
00:02:11 [Speaker 1]
Paul said to the church in Coloss, and so from the day we head, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding so as to walk in a manner worthy of the lord be pleasing to him then colon then the bible says bearing fruit in every good work and increasing the word increasing there is the word increasing in the knowledge of God.
00:02:40 [Speaker 1]
The word actually means to increase.
00:02:44 [Speaker 1]
It means to augment.
00:02:46 [Speaker 1]
It's the same way that's, transliterated.

00:02:49 [Speaker 1]
It means to augment.
00:02:50 [Speaker 1]
Augment means to add.
00:02:52 [Speaker 1]
You know, the picture of augmentation is when, you have a plant and then suddenly, some new leaves or a new branch shoots forth.
00:03:02 [Speaker 1]
That's augmenting.
00:03:04 [Speaker 1]
So, actually, plants grow by augmentation.

00:03:08 [Speaker 1]
They augment augment the more they grow and that's the word auxano.
00:03:11 [Speaker 1]
It means to keep augmenting.
00:03:13 [Speaker 1]
It means to keep adding, to keep multiplying, to keep growing, to keep increasing by the power of the holy spirit.
00:03:20 [Speaker 1]
And so this is a prophetic word over us.
00:03:24 [Speaker 1]
For a very long time, God has laid this on my heart to bring a few people close, who he wants to share with and bless with very personally, very intentional.

00:03:36 [Speaker 1]
This is a very intentional group, easy.
00:03:40 [Speaker 1]
So, eventually, he wants to share and highlight some things to them.
00:03:43 [Speaker 1]
And I think that we are privileged, including myself, to be a part of this this beautiful beautiful Oksano group.
00:03:50 [Speaker 1]
And like I mentioned, the name that God gave, I remember going to pray, about what I what name I should give to the group.
00:03:58 [Speaker 1]
In fact, I I remember we had it just as prayer group, but God said that call it Oksano.

00:04:04 [Speaker 1]
And OXANO is also the prophetic word over our lives.
00:04:09 [Speaker 1]
So I am conscious of augmentation in every aspect of my life.
00:04:15 [Speaker 1]
I'm conscious that I'm going to increase, I'm going to multiply, I'm going to bear fruit in every good work and the will of God will be fulfilled and that's what Oksana is really about increasing on all spheres.
00:04:28 [Speaker 1]
Now let's let's get into it a little bit and talk about what God wants us to examine, okay.
00:04:35 [Speaker 1]
So there's growth, there's there's increase but what does God want us to really increase in?

00:04:43 [Speaker 1]
I'll show you the scriptures.
00:04:44 [Speaker 1]
The scriptures are very specific, surprisingly about the things that we should we should grow into.
00:04:51 [Speaker 1]
Very very specific and I'm going to show you the the foundational thing that the bible wants us to grow into.
00:04:56 [Speaker 1]
There are a number of things so we're going to take them one by one.
00:05:00 [Speaker 1]
The first thing that God wants us to grow into or the first area that God wants us to continuously experience growth, is seen in in Peter.

00:05:11 [Speaker 1]
Peter wrote about it in the book of second Peter chapter three verse eight.
00:05:15 [Speaker 1]
Peter says, but grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
00:05:22 [Speaker 1]
To him be the glory both now and today to the day of eternity.
00:05:26 [Speaker 1]
Amen.
00:05:27 [Speaker 1]
So the first area of growth Peter shows us is that we should grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

00:05:36 [Speaker 1]
Actually, when you read it in the Greek, it's not just but grow in the grace and knowledge.
00:05:41 [Speaker 1]
The word and there is the word kai, which is also translated as even.
00:05:45 [Speaker 1]
So what he's saying is grow in the grace even the knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
00:05:53 [Speaker 1]
So what he's saying is that that we are supposed to grow in grace.
00:05:57 [Speaker 1]
The foundational thing that as a child that you're supposed to grow in as a child of God is grace.

00:06:04 [Speaker 1]
We're supposed to grow in grace.
00:06:07 [Speaker 1]
Hallelujah.
00:06:08 [Speaker 1]
And he's saying that the way to grow in grace is even the knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
00:06:15 [Speaker 1]
So the more knowledge of our Lord and savior that you have, the more you grow in grace.
00:06:20 [Speaker 1]
So every child of God must be growing in grace.

00:06:24 [Speaker 1]
You know, when we talk about spiritual growth, what's a spiritual growth?
00:06:27 [Speaker 1]
Spiritual growth is growing in grace.
00:06:30 [Speaker 1]
Growing in grace.
00:06:31 [Speaker 1]
Everything that has to do with our lives has to do with grace.
00:06:34 [Speaker 1]
Remember, we are not under the law, but we are under grace.

00:06:39 [Speaker 1]
It's important to understand that there are many believers who just live their lives thinking, oh, I'm a Christian.
00:06:44 [Speaker 1]
And then here here, what I have to do is that I I now have to obey a set of rules.
00:06:49 [Speaker 1]
I know that I I now have to do this and God will be pleased with me.
00:06:52 [Speaker 1]
But grace is different okay.
00:06:54 [Speaker 1]
Grace is God's unmerited favor.

00:06:58 [Speaker 1]
Yes, grace is God's great help to us.
00:07:02 [Speaker 1]
You see, so grace is God saying, I have done it.
00:07:05 [Speaker 1]
Enjoy it and walk in the reality of it.
00:07:07 [Speaker 1]
The law says, here's what you're supposed to do.
00:07:09 [Speaker 1]
Try and do it.

00:07:10 [Speaker 1]
Try and do it.
00:07:11 [Speaker 1]
Try and do it.
00:07:12 [Speaker 1]
When you read Romans chapter eight from the verse number three, the Bible says that what the law was weak in, the law was weak, the law had weakness.
00:07:21 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:07:21 [Speaker 1]
Because of the flesh.

00:07:22 [Speaker 1]
What the law was weak.
00:07:24 [Speaker 1]
You know, it could not help us.
00:07:25 [Speaker 1]
The law could not help us.
00:07:26 [Speaker 1]
The law show showed us our flaws.
00:07:29 [Speaker 1]
In the book of Galatians, Paul calls the law the school master that was designed to bring us to Christ.

00:07:35 [Speaker 1]
The law showed us our flaws but it could not fix us.
00:07:39 [Speaker 1]
You know, the law was like a mirror.
00:07:40 [Speaker 1]
You can look at your face in the mirror.
00:07:42 [Speaker 1]
Maybe you have a pimple.
00:07:43 [Speaker 1]
Okay?

00:07:44 [Speaker 1]
But the law cannot fix, it can show you that he has a pimple alright.
00:07:48 [Speaker 1]
Okay, but he cannot fix it but grace is worth it.
00:07:54 [Speaker 1]
So grace is God fixing everything and calling us to enjoy it okay and there are important things you need to understand about grace Okay.
00:08:04 [Speaker 1]
Number one, you need to understand that all your sins are forgiven.
00:08:09 [Speaker 1]
All your sins are completely forgiven.

00:08:11 [Speaker 1]
It's important to know that and also to know that now you have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
00:08:18 [Speaker 1]
This knowledge, this understanding is very important.
00:08:21 [Speaker 1]
Okay.
00:08:22 [Speaker 1]
All your sins are forgiven.
00:08:24 [Speaker 1]
Maybe you, a few scriptures to highlight that.

00:08:29 [Speaker 1]
Okay.
00:08:30 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:08:30 [Speaker 1]
That that will help us appreciate what I'm talking about okay.
00:08:36 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:08:38 [Speaker 1]
The bible says in Romans chapter three verse 23 to 24 that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God but are justified freely.

00:08:48 [Speaker 1]
We have been justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Jesus Christ.
00:08:54 [Speaker 1]
The redemption, we have redemption means to buy back.
00:08:58 [Speaker 1]
Okay.
00:08:59 [Speaker 1]
He has paid or to pay in full.
00:09:01 [Speaker 1]
He has paid for all our sins.

00:09:05 [Speaker 1]
And so because of that, we have certified freely.
00:09:07 [Speaker 1]
To be justified means to be declared not guilty.
00:09:10 [Speaker 1]
In Christ Jesus, you have been declared not guilty.
00:09:13 [Speaker 1]
All your sins, all your mistakes, all your shortcomings, you have been declared not guilty.
00:09:18 [Speaker 1]
It's important to understand this.

00:09:20 [Speaker 1]
Sometimes people struggle with this because they think that pastor, are you trying to say that we should we should just do whatever we have because the grace of God has come.
00:09:28 [Speaker 1]
No.
00:09:29 [Speaker 1]
When you read Titus chapter chapter two, let's read that as well.
00:09:32 [Speaker 1]
You know, Titus chapter two verse 11.
00:09:36 [Speaker 1]
You see something beautiful that he says.

00:09:38 [Speaker 1]
He says, for the grace of God has appeared.
00:09:40 [Speaker 1]
The grace of of God is a person.
00:09:42 [Speaker 1]
His name is Jesus Christ.
00:09:44 [Speaker 1]
You know, John talks about it and said that that grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
00:09:52 [Speaker 1]
Jesus brought grace and truth.

00:09:55 [Speaker 1]
The law came by Moses.
00:09:56 [Speaker 1]
But grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
00:09:59 [Speaker 1]
Now Titus two eleven says, for the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men.
00:10:05 [Speaker 1]
Then he says teaching teaching the grace of God teaches us.
00:10:09 [Speaker 1]
Uh-huh.

00:10:10 [Speaker 1]
It it it it doesn't just come for us to be saved but it teaches.
00:10:15 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:10:16 [Speaker 1]
You know, teaching believers to reject worldly desires and live in self controlled, righteous, and godly lives in the present world.
00:10:25 [Speaker 1]
So when you are conscious of the grace of God, the grace of God helps you.
00:10:28 [Speaker 1]
The grace of God teaches you to be able to live right, but it's important to understand that all your sins are completely forgiven.

00:10:36 [Speaker 1]
When he died on the cross, he took upon us the sins of the you you know, John the Baptist said about Jesus, he says, behold the lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world.
00:10:48 [Speaker 1]
God placed all our sins on him.
00:10:50 [Speaker 1]
When you read in Isaiah 53, you see it.
00:10:53 [Speaker 1]
The Bible says, he laid the iniquity of us all upon him.
00:11:02 [Speaker 1]
Oh.

00:11:02 [Speaker 1]
What a blessing.
00:11:04 [Speaker 1]
What a blessing.
00:11:05 [Speaker 1]
What a blessing.
00:11:06 [Speaker 1]
And not only that, he took away our sins but he also gave us a nature.
00:11:10 [Speaker 1]
He changed our nature.

00:11:12 [Speaker 1]
We're born again.
00:11:12 [Speaker 1]
What does it mean to be born again?
00:11:14 [Speaker 1]
To be born again simply means, to, to have your spirit recreated.
00:11:23 [Speaker 1]
You see that in in second Corinthians chapter five from the verse number 17.
00:11:28 [Speaker 1]
Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he's a new creature.

00:11:31 [Speaker 1]
Behold, all things are new.
00:11:33 [Speaker 1]
All things have passed away.
00:11:34 [Speaker 1]
Behold, all things have become new.
00:11:36 [Speaker 1]
You're a new creation.
00:11:37 [Speaker 1]
Now he's talking about your spirit.

00:11:39 [Speaker 1]
A man is made up of his spirit, his body, and his soul.
00:11:42 [Speaker 1]
When you get born again, that's which is the real you, is totally recreated after Jesus Christ.
00:11:48 [Speaker 1]
And that new spirit is given a righteousness, is given the gift of righteousness.
00:11:54 [Speaker 1]
So now you are no longer a sinner, but you have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
00:12:00 [Speaker 1]
Hallelujah.

00:12:01 [Speaker 1]
Second Corinthians chapter five verse 21 talks about it.
00:12:05 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:12:05 [Speaker 1]
It says, he made him to be sin.
00:12:08 [Speaker 1]
He took the sin of the world and became sin.
00:12:11 [Speaker 1]
So God turned his face from him.

00:12:13 [Speaker 1]
He made him to be sin.
00:12:14 [Speaker 1]
Who knew no sin?
00:12:15 [Speaker 1]
That aim, we might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
00:12:20 [Speaker 1]
Romans chapter five verse 17 also talks about it.
00:12:22 [Speaker 1]
It says, but as many as received that gift of righteousness, they shall reign in life.

00:12:28 [Speaker 1]
So now you need an understanding of what it means to be the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
00:12:34 [Speaker 1]
The righteousness of God in Christ Jesus means now you are right with God.
00:12:39 [Speaker 1]
You are right with God.
00:12:41 [Speaker 1]
There was no way we could have been right with him.
00:12:43 [Speaker 1]
But because of grace, he took our sins and gave us his very nature.

00:12:46 [Speaker 1]
So now the nature we have is not the nature that cause that tended to sin.
00:12:52 [Speaker 1]
But it's the nature that tended to righteousness.
00:12:54 [Speaker 1]
Let me give you an example.
00:12:56 [Speaker 1]
If someone is backing, you find a human being backing.
00:13:00 [Speaker 1]
Woah.

00:13:01 [Speaker 1]
Woah.
00:13:01 [Speaker 1]
Woah.
00:13:01 [Speaker 1]
Woah.
00:13:02 [Speaker 1]
Woah.
00:13:02 [Speaker 1]
Woah.

00:13:02 [Speaker 1]
Woah.
00:13:03 [Speaker 1]
You know, the way the way to stop the person from backing is not to beat the person, is not to do this, is not to do that.
00:13:09 [Speaker 1]
The person is backing because of an identity issue.
00:13:12 [Speaker 1]
The person thinks he or she is a dog Because it's dogs who bark.
00:13:16 [Speaker 1]
It's in their nature.

00:13:17 [Speaker 1]
It's in the nature of lack.
00:13:18 [Speaker 1]
You don't have to tell a dog to bark.
00:13:20 [Speaker 1]
It's in its very nature.
00:13:21 [Speaker 1]
So you don't mean tell a human being to sin.
00:13:23 [Speaker 1]
It's in its very nature.

00:13:24 [Speaker 1]
So God did not just take away sin.
00:13:26 [Speaker 1]
But he also solved the problem of the nature of sin, not just the act of sin, but the nature of sin.
00:13:31 [Speaker 1]
So he changed our very nature.
00:13:33 [Speaker 1]
If you're gonna tell that, if you're gonna help that person from back in, that human being from back in, what you have to do is to show the person how that the person is now a human being, and human beings don't bark.
00:13:45 [Speaker 1]
Human beings talk.

00:13:46 [Speaker 1]
Human beings laugh.
00:13:47 [Speaker 1]
Human beings have conversations.
00:13:49 [Speaker 1]
You make and all the things that human beings do.
00:13:52 [Speaker 1]
The more you teach the the person, now the person realize that because of my identity, because of my nature, I cannot do this any longer.
00:13:59 [Speaker 1]
So righteousness consciousness is the way to overcome sin.

00:14:03 [Speaker 1]
Let me show you a scripture that will surprise you.
00:14:05 [Speaker 1]
I'll show you a scripture, that will surprise you.
00:14:08 [Speaker 1]
It will surprise you.
00:14:09 [Speaker 1]
Too beautiful.
00:14:10 [Speaker 1]
Oh, I love the grace of God.

00:14:13 [Speaker 1]
Be conscious of the grace of God.
00:14:15 [Speaker 1]
Be conscious of the grace of God.
00:14:21 [Speaker 1]
Thank God for grace.
00:14:23 [Speaker 1]
It says brothers and sisters, my heart's desire, Romans chapter 10 from the verse one to three.
00:14:28 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.

00:14:29 [Speaker 1]
Brothers and sisters, my heart's desire for Israel at and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved.
00:14:35 [Speaker 1]
For I can bear them record or testify about them that they have a zeal of God, but it's not according to knowledge.
00:14:41 [Speaker 1]
Since they did not know the righteousness of God, they went about establishing their own righteousness and did not submit to the righteousness of God.
00:14:49 [Speaker 1]
Then he says Christ is the end of the law.
00:14:51 [Speaker 1]
For righteousness to everyone that believes.

00:14:54 [Speaker 1]
Oh, what a blessing.
00:14:56 [Speaker 1]
So it's important to be conscious and constantly say to yourself, I am the righteousness of God.
00:15:02 [Speaker 1]
You see, I amness of God.
00:15:04 [Speaker 1]
I am the righteousness of God.
00:15:06 [Speaker 1]
Because you are the righteousness of God, you see, now you have access to many beautiful things.

00:15:11 [Speaker 1]
Now you are joint heir with Christ.
00:15:13 [Speaker 1]
Oh, yeah.
00:15:14 [Speaker 1]
Because of the righteousness of God, we are joint heirs with him.
00:15:17 [Speaker 1]
Because of the righteousness of God, you can expect good things.
00:15:20 [Speaker 1]
Because of the righteousness of God, you can enjoy peace.

00:15:23 [Speaker 1]
Oh, let me show you.
00:15:24 [Speaker 1]
The Bible talks about the effect of righteousness.
00:15:28 [Speaker 1]
The effect of righteousness.
00:15:35 [Speaker 1]
I'm blessed so much myself over here as I'm reading this.
00:15:38 [Speaker 1]
Isaiah 32 verse 17, it says the work of righteousness will be peace and the result of righteousness quiet ness, and trust forever.

00:15:48 [Speaker 1]
The work of righteousness will be peace.
00:15:51 [Speaker 1]
Oh, the more righteousness conscious you are, the more you are at peace.
00:15:56 [Speaker 1]
The more you are at peace because sin will always make you feel far from God.
00:16:00 [Speaker 1]
Sin will always take you away from from from from God.
00:16:04 [Speaker 1]
You see, you think about the many things you have done.

00:16:07 [Speaker 1]
Listen.
00:16:08 [Speaker 1]
No matter what you've done, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is more than enough.
00:16:15 [Speaker 1]
Your sin is like a drop of ink in the ocean of God's justice, God's mercy, and God's forgiveness.
00:16:23 [Speaker 1]
Yes.
00:16:24 [Speaker 1]
So whatever you know, Paul said, this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, I press.

00:16:30 [Speaker 1]
I press.
00:16:31 [Speaker 1]
You must learn to do that one thing, to constantly press.
00:16:36 [Speaker 1]
I press.
00:16:37 [Speaker 1]
Forget those behind.
00:16:43 [Speaker 1]
Listen, because now you have received grace and now you are the righteousness of God, you have received eternal life.

00:16:48 [Speaker 1]
Eternal life is the life of God.
00:16:50 [Speaker 1]
Peter says that we have become partakers of the divine nature.
00:16:55 [Speaker 1]
The divine nature.
00:16:56 [Speaker 1]
We are now children of God, very children of God.
00:17:00 [Speaker 1]
We are not just creations of God.

00:17:02 [Speaker 1]
Any man that is not born again is just a creation of God.
00:17:04 [Speaker 1]
But when you get born again, you become children of God.
00:17:08 [Speaker 1]
He has sent forth his spirit into into our hearts crying Abba Father.
00:17:11 [Speaker 1]
Now we can call him father.
00:17:13 [Speaker 1]
Because of that, our relationship is with him is restored.

00:17:16 [Speaker 1]
Remember, in the old testaments, they could not come and pray.
00:17:21 [Speaker 1]
You know, they needed the high priest to go into the holies of holies And the veil that was that separated, the the the holies of holies from the other parts of the temple, you know, that veil was said to be as thick as a man's hand.
00:17:37 [Speaker 1]
Imagine.
00:17:38 [Speaker 1]
And when Jesus died, thank his resurrection.
00:17:42 [Speaker 1]
The veil was torn into two signifying that now we have access.

00:17:47 [Speaker 1]
We have access.
00:17:48 [Speaker 1]
We have access.
00:17:49 [Speaker 1]
Now you have access to God.
00:17:51 [Speaker 1]
Let us come boldly before the throne of grace.
00:17:54 [Speaker 1]
Come boldly.

00:17:55 [Speaker 1]
Come boldly.
00:17:55 [Speaker 1]
Don't be afraid.
00:17:57 [Speaker 1]
Don't be afraid.
00:17:58 [Speaker 1]
Forget those things that are behind.
00:18:00 [Speaker 1]
Child of God.

00:18:01 [Speaker 1]
Forget those things that are behind.
00:18:03 [Speaker 1]
Oh yes.
00:18:04 [Speaker 1]
So you are the righteousness of God.
00:18:05 [Speaker 1]
You enjoy grace.
00:18:06 [Speaker 1]
Your sins are forgiven.

00:18:08 [Speaker 1]
And now your live because you are no longer a slave to sin.
00:18:15 [Speaker 1]
Maybe you are struggling with an addiction.
00:18:17 [Speaker 1]
Listen, grace has broken the power of that addiction.
00:18:22 [Speaker 1]
In Romans chapter six, the Bible says sin no longer has dominion over us.
00:18:25 [Speaker 1]
It no longer has power over us.

00:18:26 [Speaker 1]
They have that addiction is broken.
00:18:28 [Speaker 1]
Yes.
00:18:29 [Speaker 1]
That addiction is already broken.
00:18:30 [Speaker 1]
The more righteousness conscious you are, the more you stop backing.
00:18:34 [Speaker 1]
Woah.

00:18:34 [Speaker 1]
Woah.
00:18:35 [Speaker 1]
Woah.
00:18:35 [Speaker 1]
And you start speaking and talking like the human being, like the child of God, that God has truly, truly, truly, truly made you.
00:18:43 [Speaker 1]
You see, so it's important that we have eternal life.
00:18:45 [Speaker 1]
Eternal life is the life of God.

00:18:47 [Speaker 1]
It's the way of God.
00:18:48 [Speaker 1]
That life is a life that doesn't die.
00:18:51 [Speaker 1]
You see?
00:18:52 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:18:52 [Speaker 1]
It is is is you you now have the God kind of life.

00:18:57 [Speaker 1]
That's that's the beauty of it.
00:18:59 [Speaker 1]
And you will not suffer the second death.
00:19:03 [Speaker 1]
Revelations chapter 20 verse 14 talks about it.
00:19:06 [Speaker 1]
You don't suffer the second death at all.
00:19:08 [Speaker 1]
There's something called the second death where hell and the lake of fire, hell and and uh-uh death will be thrown into the hell.

00:19:15 [Speaker 1]
That is what the Bible calls the second death.
00:19:17 [Speaker 1]
You're not suffering.
00:19:18 [Speaker 1]
You live eternally with God.
00:19:20 [Speaker 1]
You have life eternal.
00:19:22 [Speaker 1]
Life eternal.

00:19:23 [Speaker 1]
We have life eternal child of God.
00:19:25 [Speaker 1]
We have life eternal.
00:19:27 [Speaker 1]
It says and the Bible says grow in this thing.
00:19:29 [Speaker 1]
Oczano in this thing.
00:19:30 [Speaker 1]
Keep augmenting.

00:19:32 [Speaker 1]
Your understanding of what Jesus has done, the grace of God, your understanding of the cross.
00:19:37 [Speaker 1]
If there's anything you should read, child of God, keep reading about what Jesus has done on the cross because that it's been done for you.
00:19:44 [Speaker 1]
It's done for you.
00:19:46 [Speaker 1]
All the benefit, the blessings are for you.
00:19:48 [Speaker 1]
You know, you see the cross is the divine exchange.

00:19:52 [Speaker 1]
It's called the divine exchange.
00:19:54 [Speaker 1]
Jesus was our divine substitute.
00:19:56 [Speaker 1]
Everything he suffered is so that we'll not suffer.
00:19:59 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:20:00 [Speaker 1]
You see.

00:20:00 [Speaker 1]
When you read, Isaiah 53, you see it.
00:20:03 [Speaker 1]
You see.
00:20:04 [Speaker 1]
You see it.
00:20:05 [Speaker 1]
That for instance, it says the chastisement of our peace was laid upon him.
00:20:08 [Speaker 1]
He suffered so that we can enjoy peace.

00:20:11 [Speaker 1]
He took the crown of thorns so that your mind you see, the crown of thorns has to is on the is on the head where the mind is usually because and it signifies a mind afflicted with thoughts, with all kinds of issues, with all kinds of problems, a mind afflicted.
00:20:28 [Speaker 1]
He background of tongues.
00:20:31 [Speaker 1]
So that your mind can be free.
00:20:33 [Speaker 1]
You'll not be afflicted by thoughts, by fears, by doubts.
00:20:37 [Speaker 1]
No.

00:20:38 [Speaker 1]
Child of God.
00:20:40 [Speaker 1]
Listen.
00:20:41 [Speaker 1]
Listen.
00:20:42 [Speaker 1]
Listen.
00:20:43 [Speaker 1]
There's something glorious about your life.

00:20:45 [Speaker 1]
There's something beautiful about your life.
00:20:47 [Speaker 1]
Jesus's blood, Jesus's sacrifice is for you and it will not be in vain.
00:20:53 [Speaker 1]
What do you need?
00:20:54 [Speaker 1]
Knowledge.
00:20:54 [Speaker 1]
He says, but grow in grace.

00:20:57 [Speaker 1]
Grow in grace.
00:20:59 [Speaker 1]
That's the first level.
00:21:01 [Speaker 1]
It's the first level of growth, and God wants you to keep constantly keep increasing and constantly keep augmenting your knowledge of of the grace of God.
00:21:13 [Speaker 1]
Constantly keep augmenting it.
00:21:15 [Speaker 1]
Because if you don't, sometimes you don't enjoy the full measure of it.

00:21:19 [Speaker 1]
Imagine that, maybe your uncle passes on and your uncle leaves a will full of many blessings, many many, so much inheritance.
00:21:31 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:21:32 [Speaker 1]
So much.
00:21:33 [Speaker 1]
Your uncle leaves that for you.
00:21:36 [Speaker 1]
Now your your ability to appropriate all that was left for you depends on how much you know.

00:21:44 [Speaker 1]
You see?
00:21:44 [Speaker 1]
And Jesus has died for us.
00:21:46 [Speaker 1]
Everything he suffered is so that we can enjoy.
00:21:49 [Speaker 1]
We can enjoy the spoil of his victory.
00:21:52 [Speaker 1]
Now the more you know it, the more you walk in the reality of it.

00:21:56 [Speaker 1]
I'll give you an example.
00:21:57 [Speaker 1]
You know, many years ago when I was when I was in in SHS, I used to be very afraid.
00:22:02 [Speaker 1]
I remember one day someone told the person who was sitting by me was was was a devil.
00:22:07 [Speaker 1]
You know in SHS you have a lot of stories about you know people being all kinds of things and she was a witch and she would fly and I was so scared.
00:22:16 [Speaker 1]
I was a little young boy.

00:22:17 [Speaker 1]
I was so scared.
00:22:19 [Speaker 1]
I remember after I was being told the story, the same lady, when I was going back to my dormitory, I met her, and she said hello to me.
00:22:25 [Speaker 1]
And and when she said hello to me, I I was I didn't even mind her because I was so scared.
00:22:30 [Speaker 1]
I didn't want to talk to a witch.
00:22:32 [Speaker 1]
I was scared.

00:22:33 [Speaker 1]
I didn't have the knowledge of God.
00:22:35 [Speaker 1]
Strong in grace.
00:22:37 [Speaker 1]
I had an idea of grace.
00:22:39 [Speaker 1]
But I wasn't strong in grace.
00:22:40 [Speaker 1]
I didn't have the knowledge of God.

00:22:42 [Speaker 1]
And because I didn't have the knowledge of God, I was full of fear.
00:22:46 [Speaker 1]
You see?
00:22:47 [Speaker 1]
But over the years, as I read the scriptures, for instance, I read Luke chapter 10 verse 19.
00:22:52 [Speaker 1]
You know, the Bible says that, for I've given you power to tread over serpents and scorpions and nothing shall by any means harm you.
00:23:00 [Speaker 1]
Oh, glory.

00:23:02 [Speaker 1]
Not for me.
00:23:03 [Speaker 1]
It was written for me.
00:23:04 [Speaker 1]
It was written for me.
00:23:05 [Speaker 1]
It says nothing shall by any means when I awoke to the reality, to the reality.
00:23:12 [Speaker 1]
You know, the Bible says, I awake to righteousness and sin not.

00:23:14 [Speaker 1]
The way to sin not is to awake to righteousness.
00:23:17 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:23:17 [Speaker 1]
Awake to righteousness.
00:23:18 [Speaker 1]
So when when when I awoke to my authority in Christ, suddenly, all the fears of God, all the demonic activity, and all of those things were gone completely by the power of the holy spirit.
00:23:32 [Speaker 1]
I was no longer afraid.

00:23:34 [Speaker 1]
I was full of confidence.
00:23:36 [Speaker 1]
The effect of righteousness, confidence.
00:23:39 [Speaker 1]
Righteousness brings confidence.
00:23:42 [Speaker 1]
Confidence.
00:23:43 [Speaker 1]
Why are you afraid that your exams will fail?

00:23:45 [Speaker 1]
Why are you afraid that you'll lose your job?
00:23:47 [Speaker 1]
Why are you afraid that your something bad will happen to your child?
00:23:50 [Speaker 1]
Why are you afraid that something bad will happen to your husband or your wife?
00:23:53 [Speaker 1]
Why are you afraid about the future?
00:23:55 [Speaker 1]
Why are you afraid?

00:23:56 [Speaker 1]
Why are you afraid?
00:23:57 [Speaker 1]
Yes.
00:23:57 [Speaker 1]
There may be fears all around, but beloved, stand.
00:24:01 [Speaker 1]
Stand.
00:24:02 [Speaker 1]
Stand.

00:24:02 [Speaker 1]
Stand in the righteousness.
00:24:05 [Speaker 1]
Stand in grace.
00:24:07 [Speaker 1]
Stand.
00:24:08 [Speaker 1]
Don't wobble in grace.
00:24:10 [Speaker 1]
Stand in grace.

00:24:11 [Speaker 1]
When you stand in grace, you'll be able to enjoy all the blessings of grace.
00:24:17 [Speaker 1]
When you stand in grace, you'll be able to enjoy all the beautiful bountiful blessings of grace.
00:24:24 [Speaker 1]
Yeah.
00:24:25 [Speaker 1]
God wants you to grow.
00:24:26 [Speaker 1]
He wants you to grow fully fully.

00:24:33 [Speaker 1]
Increasing in the knowledge of God.
00:24:34 [Speaker 1]
And this goes back to the scripture I read first, Colossians chapter one verse nine.
00:24:37 [Speaker 1]
I hope you're not too tired of my scriptures.
00:24:40 [Speaker 1]
You get a lot of scriptures that I'm preaching.
00:24:42 [Speaker 1]
Yeah, It says, and so from the day we head, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

00:24:50 [Speaker 1]
So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
00:24:58 [Speaker 1]
In fact, it says we are to walk worthy of the Lord in a manner fully pleasing to him.
00:25:02 [Speaker 1]
Then it says semi colored, which means it's explaining how to fully please the Lord.
00:25:06 [Speaker 1]
The way to fully please the Lord is to bear fruit in every good work.
00:25:10 [Speaker 1]
How?

00:25:11 [Speaker 1]
Increasing in the knowledge.
00:25:13 [Speaker 1]
You can bear fruit in every good work.
00:25:14 [Speaker 1]
Your business, in your academics, in your career, in your health, in your marriage, in your finances, in your family.
00:25:21 [Speaker 1]
You can bear fruit in every good work.
00:25:23 [Speaker 1]
How do you do it?

00:25:24 [Speaker 1]
Increasing in the knowledge of God, and it is the knowledge of God that I'm sharing with you this blessed afternoon.
00:25:29 [Speaker 1]
Oh, yes.
00:25:30 [Speaker 1]
Let me show you some more scriptures.
00:25:32 [Speaker 1]
Oh, the Bible talks about it.
00:25:34 [Speaker 1]
Grow in grace.

00:25:35 [Speaker 1]
That's the first thing to grow in.
00:25:37 [Speaker 1]
First thing to examine.
00:25:38 [Speaker 1]
Keep keep augmenting.
00:25:41 [Speaker 1]
Keep augmenting.
00:25:42 [Speaker 1]
Keep augmenting.

00:25:43 [Speaker 1]
Keep adding up.
00:25:44 [Speaker 1]
Keep adding up.
00:25:45 [Speaker 1]
You see, first Peter two two says, like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk.
00:25:50 [Speaker 1]
That is knowledge.
00:25:52 [Speaker 1]
You see, what I'm sharing with you is the word of God.

00:25:54 [Speaker 1]
And he says, you by it, you may grow up into salvation.
00:25:59 [Speaker 1]
Oh, the way you grow spiritually is to is to have the right knowledge about what God has God has what God has made you.
00:26:08 [Speaker 1]
You see, remember, in the bible, there are different aspects of truth.
00:26:13 [Speaker 1]
You see, I'll show it to you.
00:26:17 [Speaker 1]
I'll show it to you.

00:26:18 [Speaker 1]
I'll show it to you.
00:26:21 [Speaker 1]
And Peter talks about it in the book of second Peter chapter one verse two.
00:26:26 [Speaker 1]
He says, wherefore, I will not be negligent to always put you in remembrance of these things, though you know them.
00:26:33 [Speaker 1]
Okay.
00:26:34 [Speaker 1]
And be established in the present truth.

00:26:36 [Speaker 1]
Now for Peter to say there's a present truth, it means that there's an outdated truth.
00:26:40 [Speaker 1]
There's a truth that is not relevant now.
00:26:42 [Speaker 1]
There's a truth that is not functioning now.
00:26:44 [Speaker 1]
There's a law that is not functioning now.
00:26:46 [Speaker 1]
A lot of things you see in the old testament do not function now.

00:26:49 [Speaker 1]
You see, for instance, when it comes to prayer, people say, oh, there's an angel standing somewhere holding your your prayers and all of that.
00:26:57 [Speaker 1]
Brother, no.
00:26:57 [Speaker 1]
We are to the very throne room.
00:26:59 [Speaker 1]
Come boldly before the throne of grace.
00:27:01 [Speaker 1]
Obtain.

00:27:02 [Speaker 1]
Obtain.
00:27:03 [Speaker 1]
Find mercy in time of need.
00:27:05 [Speaker 1]
You see?
00:27:05 [Speaker 1]
So all those are outdated truth.
00:27:08 [Speaker 1]
They are old truth.

00:27:10 [Speaker 1]
There's a new truth, and the new truth is the grace of God.
00:27:15 [Speaker 1]
It is a grace of God.
00:27:16 [Speaker 1]
That's a new truth and the more you grow in it, the more you gain knowledge, the more you gain knowledge, the stronger you become, the better you become, the more confident you be, the more joyful you become.
00:27:31 [Speaker 1]
The bible says count it all joy my brothers when you go through various trials.
00:27:35 [Speaker 1]
Why?

00:27:36 [Speaker 1]
Grace of God.
00:27:38 [Speaker 1]
Grace of God.
00:27:39 [Speaker 1]
It's the grace of God that is at work in you.
00:27:41 [Speaker 1]
Look at Colossians chapter two verse six.
00:27:43 [Speaker 1]
It says, therefore, as you have received Jesus, Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built in him, established in the faith.

00:27:52 [Speaker 1]
So you must be rooted and built up in these very things.
00:27:57 [Speaker 1]
What the grace of God has done for you, you see?
00:28:00 [Speaker 1]
So the grace of God what are some things the grace of God has done for you?
00:28:02 [Speaker 1]
The grace of God has given you victory over sin.
00:28:05 [Speaker 1]
It's given you victory over the devil.

00:28:07 [Speaker 1]
It's given you victory over fear.
00:28:10 [Speaker 1]
It's given you victory over failure.
00:28:12 [Speaker 1]
It's giving you victory for life.
00:28:15 [Speaker 1]
Jesus has conquered so that you can become more than a conqueror.
00:28:18 [Speaker 1]
You see, in those days, they had people who were they they would go and then they would conquer city.

00:28:23 [Speaker 1]
Then they will send someone to live in the city, enjoy the fruit of of their conquest.
00:28:30 [Speaker 1]
You see?
00:28:31 [Speaker 1]
Uh-huh.
00:28:31 [Speaker 1]
Because they're conquered once.
00:28:33 [Speaker 1]
But now there must be somebody who go there to enforce the victory.

00:28:36 [Speaker 1]
So a more than conqueror is an enforcer of the victory.
00:28:40 [Speaker 1]
So when sickness tries to show up, when failure tries to show up, when fear tries to show up, when doubt tries to show up, oh you enforce the victory.
00:28:49 [Speaker 1]
How do you enforce the victory?
00:28:50 [Speaker 1]
By speaking.
00:28:51 [Speaker 1]
Look at Jesus and the devil.

00:28:53 [Speaker 1]
When the devil tempted Jesus, he spoke words.
00:28:57 [Speaker 1]
What did Jesus respond with?
00:28:59 [Speaker 1]
Knowledge.
00:28:59 [Speaker 1]
The word of God.
00:29:00 [Speaker 1]
So sometimes there'll be thoughts that will be flying through your mind.

00:29:03 [Speaker 1]
Respond what?
00:29:04 [Speaker 1]
There'll be a thought that you'll never you'll never accomplish this.
00:29:07 [Speaker 1]
You'll never do this.
00:29:08 [Speaker 1]
You'll fail.
00:29:09 [Speaker 1]
You'll die early.

00:29:10 [Speaker 1]
No.
00:29:10 [Speaker 1]
What do you do?
00:29:10 [Speaker 1]
Don't accept that thought.
00:29:12 [Speaker 1]
Don't let that thought lift live in your mind or live in your head.
