rogrind oh no scream that's not what we probably wanted to say out loud on a public sheet
scream i made it you didn't make us to start it no you didn't yeah we did campaign's over everybody
died oh wait that means i haven't done my rock and screaming there we go yeah good
we hi everybody welcome back to another exciting episode of rock grind i'm going to do some
announcement things first and then we'll kind of get straight on into it after introducing
everybody uh first off i'd like to say thank you all very much for supporting us on uh youtube and
patreon all that other stuff just always remember that we also do this show live if you're watching
this on uh youtube and our podcast and stuff like this uh we like to put up a schedule on our

the amazing campaign assets that we use so for example the tavern map that we used and all that

the porch for me next time uh i am here playing uh volley the sylph swashbuckler uh i i don't do
really anything else online uh everybody else does i don't i'm just here for you guys
yep yeah uh anyway next one oh yeah i would say next we have hulky crow
next uh yeah that's me hello i i am hulky crow i finally came back for milk unfortunately that
came with the cost of my character i would be playing rahua the kinrasu cleric uh but unfortunately
in the process of getting milk the file on my end and on well everybody else and corrupted so he'll be
played by uh mark the milkman today at least until we get the other character sheet back so i just hope
you bear with the punches there uh mostly did some stuff for narrow decoration war hams now rot
grind did some voice set over funny things for alpha busa might be doing some funny cool stuff in
the future i don't know uh but i'm just happy to be here and have my milk milk next up we have
erendil how you doing buddy i am doing well and yes as you said i am earned i am a writer for
alpha busa during our tenure as ogre popenang productions yes it's called that yes get over
it and uh yeah i've been doing stuff all over the place i'm writing a couple things for rod grind as
well and that's that's me i'm playing baldrick weathers the uh alchemical gorilla not with an o either an eu
actually next up we have speaker d hello everybody i am speaker d you know me you know me you know me
um i am a writer and voice actor for alpha busa and ogre popenang and you may have heard myself and
erndil scream at each other recently in the latest hunter the parenting audio drama now you get to
experience it all over again as i play the ornery revolutionary the android magus known as tenhauser
and i am zorn the bear i will be your host today playing oran the strix druid i think we're all
still level three right yeah still level three yeah we're still level three everything else and the one
who's going to be running us through the adventure today the one who always makes us suffer but always
makes us laugh is our game master thurston gillman oh that's like need water hi hi it's me it's it's
it's uh i'll call jam thurston hi um i'm here to make people suffer it's what i do uh just big shout
out to all of you for all your kick-ass support and stuff and um yeah you can find me on social media
things i i work for um paizo uh publishing i am uh i'm a developer so i i write games for a living
it's what i do and then i come here and experiment on these poor saps uh saps so that's me hi
awesome and there's one adventure you got for us today oh i have an adventure i have i have such an
adventure but as as always let's let's get a little recap let's remind people where we're at well what's
happened so last time our intrepid band of destined chucklefox continued their exploration
of the cackling jackass bar uh beginning by actively recruiting uh the the manager prince
du shelf uh to their cause uh specifically volley recruited prince du shelf uh into a uh a crew
that volley is forming um and then they after this happened after his abandonment by mr lort they then
heard a knock at the door and went downstairs to find that rahua was missing an interested patron
came to the bar for food but was turned away after explaining rahua had gone to a restaurant with the
two bar staff uh that he had been tasked with guarding uh as our heroes digested this a troop of
undead soldiers from the tyrant's guild were detected on approach abandoning rahua to his delicious
dinner our remaining heroes rushed back to the second floor of the bar to overcome the trapdoor
which orrin promptly triggered anyways followed by our heroes making their way to the bar's third
floor which contained an alchemical lab that baldrick began to dissect as baldrick researched tanhauser
led the diplomatic charge into the adjacent chamber where he ran into the alchemist dr crim and her
horrific homunculi club talk doctor attempted to escape and after a brief scuffle uh ended outside
on a walkway where the undead were waiting and began shooting as baldrick rushed out to save her
the ensuing battle resulted in the heroes uh talking dr crim down from throwing more bombs at them
and valley and tanhauser emerged to dispatch the skeletal uh soldiers after this volley spotted a
gargoyle and called out to her uh the gargoyle being the scholar du hakus which our intrepid band was
coming to investigate uh and then they had met du hakus during this along with dr crim and her
stunning familiar club talk so they they met a fairly uh fairly varied band of different characters
here at this point the party split up for a bit with orrin and baldrick interrogating dr crim long
enough for baldrick to hear the voice of homel from the tyrant's guild chatting outside uh after they
convinced crim to stop making uh flaming alchemicals for the children of the blaze baldrick heads
downstairs to meet with homel who explained the tyrant's guild got a tip about a hostage situation
at the cackling jackass and dispatched the undead soldiers to investigate uh this soldier went on to
explain that his former boss martinet cardoza the leader of the local tyrant's guild had ordered the
release of all prisoners and have been acting oddly since the arrival of a dignitary from elsewhere in the
city hall mold departs and indicated that they'd planned to move away from the district finally
volley and tannhauser convinced du hakus to venture back to their base baldrick's house to help them
figure out what they encountered at the strange sinkhole temple however where we begin today is where we
truly left off with rahua we we go in the way back when machine as we cut to rahua you are in the bar with
the the two um the two members who are still around uh from the gang you are with both the elf lady who is
behind the bar and the uh the former bartender who is counting coins this is after uh the remainder
of your group has left you down here uh the only sound over the like ruffle rustle of outside noises
and the you know strange smell of various avian corpses in the in the bar is the clinking of
queens from the man the the former bartender who looks up and over to you i think we could get
something to eat
well i don't eat many things but if you have the money i'll happily tackle on there's not much to do
at this moment oh have you seen where my friends have gone i haven't seen them in some time i think
they the the they're upstairs talking to the boss that might take a while but oh look we we just have
like basic snacks here there's a there's a really good restaurant down the street we could go and
like from behind the bar yes yes anything to get away from the bear man the scary bear
oh he's not that scary he just turned into a slightly bigger version of himself
well good to know well um would you like to come with us uh they called you rahua is that right
yes my name is rahua okay well sure i have nothing better to do at the moment yeah this place has a
really good uh parmesan you wanna you wanna go google what is a was it a parmesan you called it yeah yeah
yeah it's a tasty food i don't know what it's all about it's just tasty yeah come on i'll show you
it's it's a it's a quaint place uh he he goes to the door and opens it up
leads the way down the street rahua you're just following yes just following along right behind
them yeah and like the the the elf woman is sort of like meekly following behind and you come out
into the into the streets which are still pretty pretty dead around this area um you can you can hear
some sounds from up top but nothing uh nothing like nothing explosive or the like uh you continue on
for just a ways maybe a half a block when an old man uh seems to come down the side of the street
hailing you with a hand hey uh you know if the cackling jackass is open
no they are they're closed for right now i do apologize i'm gonna have to go check out myself i want
some attendees i would advise you do not go there at this moment they are undergoing significant
renovations i believe term is you you you work there don't you points to that to the man in the
front uh ex-employee uh we're we're just taking a taking a walk away in fact we're going to get a meal
we're uh going to sweets sweets just never tend to you i like so uh i'm i'm gonna go i'm gonna go to
the to check on the bar but uh okay thank you like looks at you rahua very how uh how close is this
man to me like maybe 15 feet like he's sort of like approaching like he's he's gonna pass you
uh as he moves to walk past rahua will put a hand on his shoulder and look down at this absolutely
must be shorter than him man oh absolutely like hunched over older fellow absolutely yes
now friend i gave you a very good piece of advice i wouldn't go to the jackass if i were you
not right now and he'll okay who will cock his head be like do you understand oh uh uh give me an
intimidate check absolutely
it's uh there we go intimidate intimidation there we go 8 13 8 8 13 the man's like oh yeah okay
uh right uh nods sort of vigorously and then rushes off what rua couldn't possibly know is that his
identical twin brother would later be by the cackling jackass or or you know it was uh
it was it was just it was just like not enough to convince him the old man went anyways because you
know flashbacks are a thing um rua as as the man like scrays off the the fellow in front sort of
waves right right over right over here it's uh this is sweet he sort of like opens the door it's this
this smaller um very like cozy place you're guessing maybe the like the front area is like
maybe like 20 by 20 feet with some like nestled in um like tables and chairs has a very strong aroma
as you enter into the place uh there's like like you look to see like the tables here are very clearly
table desks that have been repurposed
all right we'll just take this uh this this desk right here we'll we'll sit down and we'll get our meal
right soon there's some yep i see void you see void i see i see void too why
it's merely a narrative uh yeah it's how hungry you are absolutely there you should uh there we go
yeah i should not see void anymore yay um and it's this lovely just this this absolutely
not void anymore uh as you as you enter in and you can see uh that there are like two other tables
here with people who are eating some you know fine fine fine dining uh there's like pots and such going
on in the back room you can hear boiling water uh man sits down this is a really nice place i i like
the i like the parmesan here and then you hear you hear the lady who like the elf lady who's looking
down well it's it's it's it's not a bear um i i i suppose i could could get some noodles um um
um what about what what about you mr rahua and like of course all the other patrons have turned to
look over to the tree has entered restaurant well i uh i don't really eat per se i more stand and take
things in i'll i'll try whatever you tell me i should order right i believe that is the convention
when it comes to these restaurants yeah go go restaurant um uh like the the man raises his hand
service service you hear this like you hear this like shuffling and then then this like slow like
footsteps on wood as this elderly crone in like a well-worn dress with an apron on top emerges and she
she clearly has like a a small piece of paper in one like trembling hand and and like a a pencil of
some sort of writing utensil with which to take down orders and this old lady this old lady approaches
and uh before she even like stops walking towards the the man beside you who is like oh all of all of
the the the palm um but like you you you can tell that that she's coming but like you'd have to turn a
bit to see her
i guess who's just going to turn around and look towards this lady that's coming towards him
so preparing to attack yeah so this like
yes i'm going to ready golem turns towards this old woman and and there is a moment where this woman
like locks her eyes to your central orb and there's like absolute shock and she like like raises up like
like a trembling finger like still holding the writing utensil with her thumb to her mouth like
riley what are you doing at the table what are you doing at the table riley oh riley oh oh well
there's we have customers here riley you you need to you you need to get get get taking orders
i am i am not riley i am rahua hello hello hello hello riley riley i've got your favorite apron let me go get it
what does she mean what is she referring to i do not have an apron of what that is
i don't i don't know what's going on does this normally happen at these places do old people just
come up to you and just tell you who you are the the old lady comes back with another with another
apron it's your favorite riley it has the goose on it or sorry the the duck it's got the duck on it
and there's like this like very clear like stained yellow duck image on it
i i do not recall owning anything like this do i do i are you going to make me handle all of this
by myself riley well well no i what am i put on the apron and take the orders i'll go i'll go in
the back i've got the other tables you take these two nice people you've been chatting with them you
take their order come come let me know what they want and she like turns and goes to the back
do i i was just holding this apron in his big hands do i it starts like stuffing it under the
the shelf of his carapace yeah like without covering your central orb somehow no it's just
like shoving it up into a mess of brambles like he doesn't know what the he doesn't know what an apron
is for who has been conscripted into being a busboy oh no i've been impressed he's been he's been put
into the food service industry speaker help him uh yeah can i get a fucking uh
i said help him oh who's gonna turn to the person next to him and just ask for any sort of help like
what what do i what do i do with this a speaker would you like to play the citizen sitting next yeah
hi um oh hi my name's john wilson they call me um fremblo hey listen you got that wonderful uh avocado

weigh 600 pounds and i'm nearing the end of my life i'm looking for some comfort

casserole oh well i don't know what that is what is an avocado neither do i i i would say make it
yourself i would say an avocado is finding a good pausing point because we have an audio hiccup
oh according to zoran who has just added everyone in the in the chat oh oh no oh
we have to wait a little bit for the avocados to cook yeah yeah chat you gotta gotta gotta wait on
your meal we're gonna have to wait for hulky to get back from the bathroom yeah
hulky has one damn the mic peaking fuck you
zoran's gotta complete his dailies so yeah we're gonna have to put zoran on the bathroom
because he can't even hear us and we're just gonna make fun of him no all right we'll be we'll

we retrieved zoran from the avocado bathroom uh chad it's been so long yeah

sweet have bile but no you're no no fuck you no fuck you all right what's what is green around me
can i get an objective like the first object in eyesight that he cannot identify um
um cabbage i don't yeah cabbage sure you think it's lettuce but you're not sure it looks different
than lettuce uh this looks like slightly different lettuce it looks like worse lettuce okay uh this
might be avocado um or who will grab just grab it metal talons just crunching that cabbage that poor poor
cabbage give it uh bring it over to i suppose what's the cutting board i i want to i want
a crafting check absolutely he's going to craft an avocado casserole out of cabbage wow
this is a great start guys he's eating the bad rolls speaker is saved hey thurston yes i have a
potentially terrible idea oh oh i love terrible ideas please can all of us accept rahua play npcs
ordering food from rahua you absolutely i you see where i'm going with this we are now playing cooking
mama i couldn't hear you less before yeah but yeah no no we already have speaker playing uh the one who
is currently making food i'm sorry no no you're good you're good you're good we're on the same page my
man so the character's name is bremblo yeah yeah bremblo oh is this is this a character that alphabusa
has created no oh it's a character that uh speaker debusa has created why why must you harm me this way

out to our uh titanic friend bremblo do i need a performance check to serve this man oh abso

and you watch as bremblo's jaw unhinges um and he begins uh with his uh his proboscis unfurls from his
throat bremblo stabs into the casserole uh speaker i'm sorry i'm not done please it's painful
you you you hear the this this whining screaming almost sound it's just it goes up and then uh
the hey you son of a bitch that's my gimmick
no actually i'm i gotta go and he throws a glass of wine to the ground and begins running out at his
max movement speed of 10 feet uh he'll be out of this restaurant about three rounds

is a cow back here you must milk it to obtain a non-alcoholic beverage i i gotta go

liquids uh there's probably some cooking wine that's a little less strong um yeah that would be about the
the main stuff if you wanted to have a narrative declaration and you know use your one hero point
rohua uh to declare that there is the rock grind equivalent of orbits in here i would hate you
forever but i would allow it oh that's he doesn't hate it he wants to be my snake in my garden of eden
thurston that's right that's what i do you might need it for later and i might be trying to just
sneak it out that's true it's true i am not a smart man i might be stupid
i would like to make a society check to determine what should these wines be appropriate for a child

oh you'll see him roll out a piece of paper oh no i would like two bacon pieces one cheese
like of things with it one of the color white cheddar cheese on it one switch cheese one
onion one silver onion one pickle one leaf lettuce one tomato one to tell a strip what's one little
veggie bland of some of the southern parts of the coast and area of hot seat one dead one little
wedge of cheese there one one mustard one ketchup one of the mackeys of cheese one of the bits of tartar
sauce on it one little scripts of rent sauce some signature sauce for engineering sauce wine glaze an
egg i bought a round egg get that yep you want a chimkin sandwich with ketchup mustard pickles bacon egg round
egg mac and cheese soup is cheap not cheese egg more egg okay i think i think i have everything you
theoretically i'm sure it will be okay oh and onions too and one ale one diet ale please
and one okay somehow you are the most pleasant out of the three people i've talked to today okay i will
get you still like if you fuck up a single one of my ingredients i don't know why it's my accent james
if you've messed up have you messed up any part of it i'm gonna make sure my entire family comes and
tears down this establishment oh
well i would like to see you try and for who will start walking back towards the kitchen

I would like to read divine lance here you unleash a beam of divine energy choose an alignment of your day your deity has chaotic evil good or lawful you can't cast the spell if you don't have a deity or if your deity is true make a range spell attack against the targets AC on a hit the target takes damage of the chosen alignment type plus your spellcasting modifier
uh now you would be chaotic but the chimkin does not have a lawful alignment and thus is immune to chaotic damage
so this beam of divine light like chaotic energies goes out hits the chimkin which just tilts his head to the other side now

everything goes great so

empower to after taking the
target whether you hit or
miss the bulb lightning
explodes dealing 2d6
electricity damage to all
other creatures and a 10
foot emanation around the
target additionally you
spark with electricity for
one minute dealing one
electricity electricity
damage to creatures that
grab you strike you with
on our melee type reach
above or whatever and uh
and all set the same it
makes you rain spell to
success you deal three to
six electricity damage on
the critical success okay
i didn't get it so yeah
it does a lot of stuff

damage for the the primary
target first yeah yeah
oh that'll be 14 points
of damage

resistance though so it's
not it's not quite as much
because the the horses are
skellies and have
resistance to electricity

one that baldrick is
immobilized is the one that
takes a good amount of damage
from this
good yeah and so this like
crackling ball hits the horse
it doesn't seem to like affect the
course it strikes as much but
then they're like resounding
um thunderbolt around it
strikes to the left is like
searing into that rider who
lets out a sharp like screech
of pain just this
and that's the end of orange
turn actually we had to roll the
d20 to see if any of that
happened
we're good oh yeah you're good

the fog you're good yeah
shot through the fog we're just
fine anyway yeah that's the end of
orange turn is is he is now
just electricity just sparking
off of him

then its jaws biting down towards you
that'll uh that'll be a solid ouchie no
crit but that that's a solid ouchie
that's a solid ouchie though uh it'll hit
you for
15 points of uh piercing damage
that'll hurt megaman
yeah um at this point the immediate
follow-up comes from the the rider
who uh proceeds to continue the
onslaught
um
by
using it's actually using it's uh
no it doesn't use that it just tries
to hit you with its flail so
strikes you with don't be afraid
don't be afraid to mess up the
form
oh yeah no i'm going to uh so that'll
hit you again
so the flail strikes you for
a lot of damage
10 smackeroonies
uh would help if i didn't apply that

the rider

and steadily

the corpse
begins to
get up
as this
thing
animates
