A journey into the unseen patterns of sound, resonance, and reality. Host Mike Madden unpacks his philosophy of Dimensional Acoustics—where frequency shapes emotion, connection, and the soul’s path through existence. Blending personal stories, sound design, and big-picture questions, Frequency Shift invites listeners to tune in, shift perspective, and hear the world in a whole new way.
DA (00:02.254)
Hello, welcome to Frequency Shift, an exploration of dimensional acoustics. I'm Mike. I'm actually the author of Dimensional Acoustics. As I wrote the book, I decided there's more and more that I needed to explore. More ideas came that seemed to go along with the book very well. But here in the first episode, I want to share what Dimensional Acoustics is about.
how it's changed my life. I want to make very clear that this is not a religion. This is not necessarily science. It's kind of a process that connects both a little bit. I'm not looking for followers. I'm not pushing any kind of dogma, any kind of you need to live this way.
I firmly believe that everybody has their own vision of what the truth is. Dimensional Acoustics is not about telling you how to live your life. But I hope I can at least offer you a new lens to look at that life through and possibly some better questions to ask to see exactly what resonates with you. Where you find
your piece in all of this. Unfortunately our world can be a very confusing, a very down world, but I hope through Dimensional Acoustics, through some of our talks that we have here on these podcasts, maybe if you give the book a read it'll help you understand or at least see things a little differently that maybe make sense with you. One of the biggest things in Dimensional Acoustics, I like to say always,
is keep what resonates with you and let the rest go. There is no set rules to this.
DA (02:14.124)
just the way I've seen things and way that helps me out.
So now I understand that hopefully there's enough of you listening out there who don't actually know me that well but for those of you that do you'll know very well that for pretty much all of my life that you people have known me I've been a very standoff type of guy I'm not one who lets people close I'm not one who gives out hugs or honestly even likes to be around people
For years I told myself, I believed myself, and I told everybody else, I don't care what anybody thinks. And while that was true, the reasoning behind it always wasn't. I always thought that I didn't care what anybody else thought simply because that's how strong I was. I didn't need anybody else. I was too good for all that. Through writing this book,
I've discovered something else. That's not the reason at all. And most people that tell you, don't like to be around people, I don't want that connection, are lying to you and are lying to themselves. And here now, I'll be the first time that I will admit this publicly, I was lying to myself. I didn't know it at the time, I thought I was being honest. Everybody craves a connection.
Everybody wants to be liked. Everybody wants to feel wanted. I wasn't holding the people away from me because I was too cool for those people. I was holding those people away from me because I was afraid that they could hurt me. Not physically. You don't know me. I'm a fairly big guy. I'm not afraid of a little physical hurt. That's not the thing. But emotionally, or you can't...
DA (04:19.48)
protect yourself as well. I was afraid. I was scared. I didn't want to let anybody close because if they got too close to me they had the ability to hurt me.
DA (04:32.333)
through writing this book, came to understand that.
Through writing this book I came to understand what I truly believe. I came to understand how I see the world, how I see everything, and how I see people.
DA (04:53.95)
And I don't see people the same way as I did before. Before through most of my life, the only people I ever said the words I love you to were my wife and my children. Very rarely anybody else, even my family, my mother, my father, my grandmother, very, very rarely did the words I love you
Which is wrong. Because I loved them very much. Unfortunately most of them are gone and I won't get the chance to tell them that but...
If you read my book and you understand how I feel and what I believe, they know and I will get a chance to express that at some point in time.
Now I'm not afraid to tell people that I love
I'm also not afraid to let people in, but at the same time.
DA (05:51.086)
I'm not concerned with what people think. think that's a very big distinction for me. Before, out of fear of letting them in, I didn't care what they thought. I don't care about those people. If I don't care about them, they can't care about me, they can't hurt me.
difference now. I'm not concerned with what people think. I will speak my mind. I will believe what I believe. I will dress how I want to dress. I will listen to what I want to listen to if it strikes a chord with me. I'm not concerned with what they say because I realized one thing. They can't hurt me.
My belief in me and my belief in what I've discovered through this is rock solid. You can't shake me. And it is a wonderful, scary feeling to honestly be happy most of the time. Don't get me wrong. As I wrote this book, found the algorithms on TikTok will pull you in sometimes.
And once you say something they'll take you down a rabbit hole so I found people who talk of spiritual enlightenment Light seeds People who talk about 5d reality and I thought maybe that has something to do with it But they talk about things that I don't know like it's not good Like going through it's traumatic and harsh and that's not what I've seen and that's not what I come to
As we explore dimensional acoustics we'll get into the difference between spiritual awakening, 5d reality, dimensional acoustics. At the core I truly believe we're all trying to say the same.
DA (07:51.488)
Some to me seems frightening like it might scare people off and that's not I want to be able to reach people All right. My son told me months after this started I said ace have you seen a difference? In me at all. I just want to know Because I feel different. Have you seen a difference in me? He said yeah, you know you you don't yell like you used to I used to yell all the time and drop of a hat ace and I get into a fight
He said, you know, don't take this the wrong way, Dad, but you haven't been as mean. You've been really nice recently. I said, buddy, I can't take that the wrong way at all because that mean guy is what led me to this nice guy.
I see now where I was, why I was, who I was.
And since this has happened, my son and I used to almost every day. My wife and my son would fight almost every day or my wife and I would, the combination of the three of us within two days in this house would fight. Since this book has changed me, I've noticed it's changed the family. We've, we are now months in without any real major incidents. A little back and forth here and there. It's going to happen to everybody.
no major incidents, it brings a phrase to mind that the rising tide raises all ships.
DA (09:18.892)
If you live the life that you want to live, the life... when I lived the life that I wanted to live, when I saw that I didn't need to be afraid of people, that I didn't have to completely always hide behind the sarcastic, lashing out guy that I was, and I could be happy, and I could accept people, and I could give that love out, suddenly my son felt better.
my wife felt better and the rising tide that was my emotion raised all the boats in the family and it's an amazing feeling and quite honestly I know I've talked about this book I've written which is available on Amazon
But I'm not here just to plug the book. If this podcast reaches one, two, three people, they hear this message and understand who I was, where I was, and what I've become, and it helps those people, then I don't care if no books get sold. And I honestly believe that. I mean it. I know people say it all the time, but I don't. I don't care.
I wrote the book down to get something out of my head that has been in my head since I was 16 years old. I am now 50, almost 51. That has been in my head since I was 16. But it was always jumbled and incoherent so I needed to write it down. I finally did, I finally understood it all because it was all laid out for me. It was all there where I could put it together. The puzzle was finally, the pieces of the puzzle were finally in the right place. It's changed how I look at everything. It's changed how I live my life.
It's changed who I am. If I can help a handful of people, hell if I can help one person that felt as lost as I felt to not have that feeling that nobody understands them, nobody gets it. If I can help that one person through these podcasts, writing that book was absolutely everything worth
DA (11:36.782)
Took me a while to get some of that stuff out, but absolutely worth it. I'm getting a little away from where I wanted to talk in this first episode. I wanted to get basically to the core idea of dimensional acoustics. Okay, when I was younger, I have some friends and we would always sit around and talk about some pretty deep stuff, know, alternate timelines, different realities, light speed travel, just weird stuff.
We'd go down some rabbit holes. So they asked me how I thought. How I thought the universe and everything happened.
The best definition, the best description I can give, because I don't have the right words for it, was imagine that reality is like a radio station. Okay, when you're listening to the radio station and you're on 925, 101, 99.9, 1047, 1037,
All those stations are still out there, but you can't hear any of them because you're tuned into 925. And that's the way I saw reality. There's all types of reality and it's all right here. We share space with it, but we can't interact with it because we're tuned in to this reality.
So it's a... and once I got to writing the book I realized that there's more to it than just that. I realized that and the principle that I always gave these people is that everything in existence has a frequency because everything has emotion down to the smallest atom. You know we go down into quantum realms.
DA (13:35.576)
We go down into quarks. They still move. When they move, they create a vibration. When you create a vibration, you create a frequency. It's that simple. That's science. That's 100%. That's not just my perception. So if everything has a frequency, well, now I just added a frequency component to my radio analogy before. So these things started building in
And as I wrote the book, saw stuff like, ever notice that you'll have somebody that no matter how bad of a day it is, they can always see the bright side of things, right? Then you have the same person to look at the exact same day. I'll see the worst possible outcome. They can see the brightest day. That's the day. you you got to go see the band of your dreams. You know, your favorite band, you went to this concert. my seat sucked. they were uncomfortable. I didn't get to.
I truly thought and still believe now that these type of people are physically unable to see either the downside or the bright side of And that involves the frequency to which you're tuned in.
This stuff started making more more sense. Now, it's not magic, okay? It's resonance. It's what you harmonize with, that you see, that you feel. So then I got into the belief that even our emotions maybe have a frequency. You ever walk into a room and just feel something's off? And you turn out to be right?
Well that's because your frequency isn't matching the frequency of the room.
DA (15:27.48)
So you know you don't fit in there, something's off, something's wrong, and you know it. I believe that everybody's individual reality, their souls, have their own frequency. I want to make one quick distinction before I get too far into this. When I say frequency, I don't mean like 94 hertz. I'm not talking a literal frequency. I don't have a better word. I'm looking at things in a way that could be multi-dimensional.
all of reality, all of possible realities and because of that I don't have the right word frequency is the best thing I can do to help my brain and hopefully help your brain envision what I'm trying to say okay so just keep in mind when I say your soul is a frequency when I say your emotions have a frequency I'm not talking a measurable range of Hertz okay that's not it so we'll just keep that in mind
realizing going back so we're gonna try and anchor this down a little bit okay we talked already about differences in the awakening in the 5d and the light seeds and I don't believe they talk about a spiritual awakening I don't believe that anything's awakening okay I believe you know when you're it's a little harder for some of the younger kids out there because they might not know
but us older folk, we remember back when you to tune a radio and you actually move the dial and the little stick one across the analog and you'd almost have that radio station tuned in and would be getting bits and pieces of it but it's still a little fuzzy and then when you get just a little more of a turn it's crystal clear.
That's how dimensional acoustics looks at this quote unquote spiritual awakening. It was there, always there, always alert, always aware. You might not have been fully aware of it, but it was. Your frequency is aware, whether you are or not, as weird as it might sound. So what we're hoping to do is just tune people in a little better so they get a reception of what's
DA (17:48.28)
And I'm not saying that the spiritual awakening people, the 5D people, I'm not saying anybody, any of that is wrong. Okay. What I am saying is there's no one set way to reach where you want to go. Right. As I go through, TikTok is notorious for this. As I go through, see everybody has to have a dark night of the soul and an ego death. And these things sound to me like
like gatekeeping, like you want to have these forbidden words and phrases and they're big and scary. And quite honestly, they can put some people off. And I don't agree. I didn't have a dark night of the soul. I didn't have an ego death. They describe ego death as losing interest in everything, which the way they describe it just sounds like clinical depression. OK? Maybe it is. Maybe it's not. But for me,
I actually feel more connected. As I told you before, I was not a very social guy before. Now I don't mind being with people. It's a very, very weird situation for me. Some of the other things that we'll talk about. I touched a little bit on the book. We're going to talk about Deja Vu.
Maybe it's not what people think it is. Every time a new idea would come to me, I would test it. I would have somebody ask me a question. They'll hey, here's what I think this is. In the light of dimensional acoustics, looking at it through this way, I can now, in my head, logically explain this, this, and this. And this is how I explain it. And I would ask somebody to try and come at me, debate with me, argue with me.
And I always had a response. I've not run into a brick wall yet. And again, I'm not for a second saying that these are the answers to life, okay? I'm saying that this makes so much sense to me and hopefully will make a little bit of sense or at least make you think about it. But we're going to touch on deja vu. We're going talk about dreams. We're going to talk about some supernatural stuff.
DA (20:11.598)
We're going to talk about ancient teachings. We're going to talk Bible verses. We're going to talk about music. We're going to talk about how just simple music can connect you. But we're also going to go to a science side. We're going to explore binaural beats. We're going to explore all types of sound therapy. I have a friend of mine who's very into the supernatural realm.
is going to come onto a podcast with me and discuss how I view ghosts. He actually turned me on to Stone Tape, which fascinating, it was a movie and then a theory came out of the movie that stone itself could hold memories.
DA (21:03.81)
which can also be tied into a lot of spiritual practicing with crystals and gems. And we'll dive into how I see that and how I see how this equates to dimensional acoustics. Now typically when we talk spiritualism, when we talk something like dimensional acoustics, we instantly think that religion is thrown out the window, right? I couldn't disagree more. I believe that
teachings of a lot of religions around the world, even ancient religions, can all coincide with what I'm seeing through Dimensional Acoustics and what I'm going to explain to you throughout these episodes. I do have a very, very good friend of mine. She has been a friend of mine for damn much longer than either one of us want to admit, that's for sure. I believe I was 18 years old when I first met Amy.
As said, I'm 51 and I'll never let Amy forget she is a little bit older than me so she's already 51. But she's actually a pastor at a church. Amy and I have butted heads quite a few times in the past over religion. Amy bought my book, read my book, and sent me a text message. She said, it happened, something I never thought would. I've quoted Mike Madden in my prayer journal.
I had to have a good laugh because if you guys knew some of the stuff that I've said or done in the past and that Amy and I have argued and talked about you would completely understand why it would seem like the end is coming for a pastor that didn't have to but chose to quote me for her her journal. So hopefully we'll have a good time. We'll explore some things. I really invite you guys to try and get a hold of me.
There's a Dimensional Acoustics Facebook page. There's a Dimensional Acoustics TikTok. Go ahead and follow both of those. I'm trying to post more, but quite honestly, I've got a lot of irons in the fire right now. So posting isn't my highest priority, but as this podcast launches, and I'll try to increase my presence on social media to interact with you guys.
DA (23:29.91)
If you have any questions, you have any thoughts, you have any experiences, we're going to get into a lot of personal experiences. We're going get into some things that have personally affected me. The death of my father, the death of my mother, two probably obviously most important people in my life, but two very different feelings, two very different resonations as this happened.
as each happened, they happened years apart first and foremost. But we'll dive into that. We might talk to my friend Ty who's going to be on with the supernatural side. We'll talk to him about some of that stuff. We'll speak of ghosts, we'll speak of body frequencies, frequencies that may account for some ghosts and maybe some other aspects. Twin telepathy, about that one?
That was a fun thing that came up after I wrote the book. I find more stuff and hopefully it'll give me more ideas for more episodes as we go. But what I really want now, as I'm wrapping up this introduction episode, is just for you guys to stop for a minute. Really listen to the world around you. Really listen to yourself.
DA (24:55.798)
And just find what, when something makes you happy, truly happy, you know, earning more money. Earning more money makes everybody happy. I'm going to be very honest about that. That was another difference between spirituality and dimensional acoustics. They believe that when you reach the higher frequency, you need to try to keep yourself in this high frequency. don't agree at all.
I believe when you see things, if you see things the way that I see things, when you realize there's more to the universe than life that we lead, then you'll understand that you need to lean into it and enjoy things in life. Even if we're something more than our physical bodies, we're still in our physical bodies and we need to live that life as well. So we'll explore.
that side of dimensional acoustics in future episodes as well.
But I want you to pay attention to things that make you happy. Whether it's a song, just being in the sunlight.
small child going by and laughing and it makes you smile for no reason. Maybe you aren't even really a child, a kid person, but the innocence of that kid just makes you smile and feel warm inside. And when that happens, take a second and try and picture how you feel. What's your frequency? What's emotional range?
DA (26:36.012)
and try and picture what that frequency is that you are, that's making you feel this way. And see that connection, see how those things can coincide. We'll dive more into this as we get deeper into dimensional acoustics. I know I've learned a lot of stuff even since finishing the book. So again, dimensional acoustics is available on Amazon. It is in both
e-reader and paperback version. I'm going to be very honest with you because again I told you this is not a money grab for me. The Kindle version is half price of the paperback version. Quite honestly I make more money off the paperback version. This book right now and I may go back and write an expanded version because of all this other stuff that I picked up right now.
This book sits around maybe five to 90 pages. can't exactly remember. So I am encouraging if you buy this book, if you have an electrical device to read it on, go ahead and get yourself the ebook version. right. Save yourself some money. I'm not worried about profits on this. I want people to read and understand. OK, so I firmly say go get the ebook version.
which I know might sound a little crazy to most people. If you decide, if you know me personally, which some of you may, if you decide to buy a physical copy and for some reason you would like me to sign it just because you know somebody that wrote a book, by all means get ahold of me. I'd be very happy to do that for you. I wanted to explain now before I leave. Dimensional acoustics, it's a philosophy that sees a soul as a frequency resonating through different dimensions. Okay.
Growth is not about awakening from sleep but shifting resonance, tuning in more clearly to love, to connection, to awareness. Alright, so there be some personal stories. As we talked about there's going to be some phenomena, deja vu, dreams, ghosts, and all this stuff that we're going to dive into over this series. To be completely honest, I don't know how long this series is going to last. My intention originally was to do a limited series but the more I
DA (29:00.352)
I go through stuff in my book the more I learn, the more I think, hey that's another episode, hey there's something else we can talk about. So we'll see where it goes, we'll see how long it lasts. But at its heart, Dimensional Acoustics is about resonance and being true to yourself and being able to tune in the life that you want.
DA (29:29.612)
So the real question, and the question I'll ask everybody, and it might get a little repetitive, it might get a little boring, but it might be a question that I ask you guys at end of every show. What are you tuned into? Are you the person that can only see the positives? Are you the person that can only see the negatives? Are you the person that's always wondering? What are you tuned into? Remember as I talk about this stuff.
None of this is magic. It's resonance. It's the same as when you hit one tuning fork and you take it up to beside another one of the same frequency. It'll make that second tuning fork start to vibrate. That's resonance. That's what we're looking for in life. That's what we're exploring in dimensional acoustics. Thank you for sitting in with me. Thank you for listening to me. Hopefully you'll be back on our next episode.
and we'll have some fun topics to talk about. Again, if you have something you're interested in, check out the two socials that are Dimensional Acoustics. If you're interested in being on the podcast, if you have a story you would like to share, please, by all means, get ahold of me. We'll work something out. We can record something or maybe I'll have you come down to the house and we'll do something in our little studio downstairs. But the more people I can have interact, the better.
The more people who ask me questions, test my theories, the better. Like I said, I'm not concerned with what people think because I won't run with this. I want this challenge head on because this means everything to me. So.
Think about what you're tuned into. Try and find frequencies that resonate with you.
DA (31:26.67)
Try to raise your frequency to a higher level, more compassion, more love, more understanding. We'll see you guys on the next show. Thanks for listening.
