WOMAN OF ROYALTY
When the Matriarch Sarah was one hundred years old, she was as beautiful as when she was twenty..
(Yalkut Shimoni, Tehillim, 730)
Sarah experienced a taste of the World to Come.
(Toras Chaim, Chayei Sarah)
Sarah merited a taste of Moshiach because she was not intimidated by her surroundings and did not hold back or compromise. Instead, she remained true to herself wherever she was, and ultimately, she brought out the beauty in everyone and everything around her. Even when she was abducted by Pharaoh, the end result was that Pharaoh gave his own daughter to her as a maidservant, saying, “It is better that she be a maidservant in this house than a princess in my house.” For the same reason, she remained beautiful, even in her old age; her soul shone so powerfully that her spiritual beauty was manifest as physical beauty, as well.
