Ten Minutes of Truth with Shawn A. Barksdale

Today Boots On The Ground took over HCHS. Our youth have a bright future, we just have to talk their language. Thank you to the team I couldn’t have done this without them. Ten Minutes of Truth is proud to launch a Boots on The Ground contest. Halifax County High School students join the movement. Shawn A. Barksdale is encouraging our youth to use their WORDS AND NOT WEAPONS! Shawn will be speaking to HCHS students on November 15th, with four motivational and inspirational presentations. If you are a parent, guardian, or connected to an HCHS student, ask them how Shawn is changing the narrative where violence is concerned. Shawn is bridging the gap between the community, law enforcement, and our youth in many ways. Most importantly his BOOTS ARE ON THE GROUND!

What is Ten Minutes of Truth with Shawn A. Barksdale?

The show is about truth and how telling it can be cathartic and helpful to many! Look for Shawn to challenge his guest, to tell the truth, be transparent, and offer their life’s personal perspective on the many obstacles they have overcome. You will be amazed at how successful some have become after facing a portion of their life behind bars.
