Robby: You're listening to the Brand
ED Bullet from the Brand ED Podcast.

Four freaky fast Friday wins to
get you going for your weekend.

Let's go.

Win number one, something to try.

Online meetings are happening
all of the time now.

You probably get more online
meeting invites than you ever

have in the history of working.

Most of those come with a
zoom link or a Google hangout.

And while zoom and Google are great
options, they do require an account

and the software that goes with them.

You might want to check out pop space.

It's online meetings done free.

Instant and secure.

And it's a very intriguing option.

It does require a little
setup on your end.

But once it's set up on a server,
meetings happen in the browser

and there is no special software.

And the actual meeting
canvas is customizable.

You can add documents, images, notes,
and more to the shared canvas space.

Move them wherever you want.

And let others do the same.

I would encourage you to check it out
it's a very interesting zoom alternative

and again it's free and requires no
software for those you host meetings with

Win number two, something
a client recently asked.

A client recently asked for
help nailing down the purpose

of her personal brand business.

And now this is such a common
challenge that I've often done

some free training around this,
and I'll probably do that again.

So make sure you check the show notes and
sign up for free masterclass training.

I asked her to take a walk
and consider this question

and then record her thoughts.

What am I unwilling to
compromise in my business?

And why?

What that helps her do is to know
of the various priorities that she

has for her personal brand business,
which one outranks the others.

And that helps to surface what she really
wants her personal brand business to be

about Because while It could be about
many different Things there's likely one.

one thing that she's
Unwilling to compromise on

And that's what she needs to
build her business and personal

We'll Brand around Win number
three, something to think about.

Creating something means you
almost always get it wrong.

Because the hard work of creating,
it usually blinds you to the

different, hard work of optimizing it.

Those of us in the personal brand
space, often love to create new

things, new frameworks, new tools, new
tactics, new takes on an old problem.

But that also means we can easily
become enamored with what we create.

We're vested and sometimes we're blind.

We need more humility and less
hubris to not just create it.

But to do the hard work of optimizing it.

Win number four, something personal.

I've done a lot of free online training
over the last eight or nine months.

And I'll have another
one coming before long.

And for now I've chosen to ditch
the typical zoom webinar approach.

I'm going straight for the zoom
meeting in the zoom meeting approach.

You see me and I see you, you
know, kind of like we're humans

.
Yes.

It's far messier to hold a zoom meeting
than a webinar for this training.

But I'm okay with that.

And here's why.

On a zoom webinar, it keeps
you the attendee hidden

behind the virtual curtain.

I can't see you.

Number two that makes it far less
personal and I'm a personal brand.

So that doesn't make sense to me.

And number three.

The zoom webinar approach,
which puts me in the spotlight.

And I can't see any of you,
it's just not in line with my

life giving brand manifesto.

I'll put a link to that in the show notes.

I'm curious from your perspective.

Which do you prefer?

Do you prefer the one way webinar
where you can't be seen and you can.

Interact or not interact, or do
you prefer an interactive zoom

where we actually get to see each
other and engage with one another?

I'd love to know what you prefer.

Thanks for joining me on this
episode of the brand ed bullet.
