[00:00:00]
Speaker 1: Hey gorgeous, welcome to today's episode. Today we are talking about what you say becomes reality. What you tell yourself becomes your reality, especially when it comes to your finances. So today we are talking about language and how the words you speak are so important when it comes to your finances. When it comes to money, one of the most powerful things you can do in this journey, in the program and listening to the audio and for life is to change your language about money.

[00:00:44]
Speaker 1: Language matters and we need to be really vigilant and careful about what we are saying out loud because it reflects what you really think about money. You might think that you are waiting for the reality to change before you change the way you think about money. Honestly, it happens the other way around. What you speak out loud has a huge resonance throughout your life, has a huge impact throughout your life. Language is largely a habit and sometimes automatic.

[00:01:23]
Speaker 1: You will say it out and so are the negative beliefs. Beliefs are just a thought that you have repeated many times over time over the years. In a chorus of miracles, they say, thoughts grow stronger as they are shared. And that works for both positive and negative thoughts.

[00:01:44]
Speaker 1: When you share your innermost thoughts out loud, you are giving them power. You are energizing them. You are giving those inner most thoughts energy. You are giving them the lakes to run with the wind. There are probably things that you say out loud that you have probably never think through or analyzed before, especially if they are common money savings or cliches.

[00:02:14]
Speaker 1: Some of these might just be habits. Or maybe your family or friends used to say about money, start with the basic and obvious things, like sentences, we can't afford that, or we don't have the money. You need to learn to bend these sentences in your languaging, replace it with whatever feels good for you. Maybe you can say, we choose not to spend our money on that, or even getting into gratitude for what you do have. So if you catch yourself saying any of the following, choose a more empowering statement to act as a patent interrupter and stop the thought in extracts.

[00:03:01]
Speaker 1: Now, it's very important to watch this languaging and the way we talk about money. Things like, I don't need money. I just want to help people, because you don't want to charge premium pricing for your products or services. You don't want to charge people because you make you the bad person, or you think that you become the bad person. So you say things like, I don't need the money.

[00:03:30]
Speaker 1: I just want to help people. And guess what? Money helps people. And it's okay to make money by helping people. Listen closely. You deserve to be rich when you add value to people's lives. Repeat after me I deserve to be rich. When I add value to people's lives. Notice the word deserve is that when you serve other people with your gifts and the talents and your education and your knowledge and experience, you inspire them. You solve their problems. You deserve to be rich.

[00:04:09]
Speaker 1: And it's okay to make money by helping people. Most of us are in business because we want to help people and make the world a better place. Honestly, it is hard to do it from a place of financial struggle. Imagine you are constantly struggling because you have no money, because you keep yourself broke because you didn't want to charge. And then you tell the whole world that you're doing business. So most of us are in business because we want to serve people. We want to help people to solve problems and make the world a better place.

[00:04:47]
Speaker 1: So we can only do this from a space where we are out of the financial struggle. So the more you say something like that, the more you reinforce it. You will help people and not get paid for it. So if you catch yourself saying this one, try a new way of saying try a new mantra. The more people I help, the more people I make. The more people I help, the more money I make.

[00:05:21]
Speaker 1: You can also say I deserve to be rich when I add value to people's lives I deserve because I serve. Here's another one, I would rather be happy than rich. Sounds familiar. Money doesn't make anyone happy. But neither does being poor, broke or bankrupt.

[00:05:51]
Speaker 1: Get it? Money doesn't make anyone happy, but neither does poverty, broke, poor and bankrupt. Money is just money. Yes, there are rich people who are jerks and nasty people. They could be snobs, right? And of course you say poor people who are saints. They are angels. They are really helpful. But to be honest, there is every kind of people in every category or any category. Here's another one, my money.

[00:06:31]
Speaker 1: Sorry? My family and my children come before money. My family and my children come before money. Of course they do. That doesn't mean that you can't be a financially successful businesswoman and raise a family. So I think you should change those words into I'm a great role model for my family. Next, you got to watch the language you use about money in general. What do you say about rich people? They are filthy rich. They are money hungry.

[00:07:07]
Speaker 1: She's money minded. She charged people premium pricing for her products and services. So she's a money face. She's filthy. What do you say about your work or how other people make money? Oh, no such thing as easy money. She said you can make money online by selling online courses. Really?

[00:07:40]
Speaker 1: So what do you say about money itself? Cold, hard cash? What have you said to your kids about money. Money doesn't grow on trees. Being aware of these everyday money cliches will really help you to be aware. And when you're aware, you can clear your language in the examples I've given you. I'm going to tell you, you have got to be honest if you say some of these things yourself. Don't laugh at me when I say it out in this audio program, all right? Because I've been there and I understand. I used to say really negative things about money all the time because I had to support and support myself through school since I was 14.

[00:08:38]
Speaker 1: And so I have a lot of silly money cliches in my mind, all right? I've been there, I've done that. However, I've decided to become the most optimistic person on the planet in the time that I'm here on this universe, okay? I sometimes find it hard to talk negatively about money, even for example, purposes. That's because I'm raising my energy to attract the positive things that I want in my world.

[00:09:12]
Speaker 1: So this can be learned and it's a learned behavior, something that you can change too. So really watch what you're saying or telling yourself about your situation. You might think that it's just a passing remark or you say something negative about yourself so that the other people or other person listening will feel empathy or pitty you or maybe they might just you just want to make them feel better. So if you use language like, I'm desperate, broke, confused, and then you will continue to feel helpless on how to get out of it. So you have to be super vigilant, like when someone asks you, how well are you doing right now in your business?

[00:09:55]
Speaker 1: Oh, it's really tiring. Making money is so difficult. I have to turn on and do live streaming every day for three to four days a week, and then every time I do live streaming, it's 4 hours. It's very tiring. Making money is so hard, so difficult.

[00:10:14]
Speaker 1: I have got a coaching client who said that, and she's just going on and on, round and round in circles. Can you imagine if you keep repeating that enough times, what do you think will happen the following week and the week after? And as you do her business? So you have to be super vigilant. Casual remarks have energy.

[00:10:40]
Speaker 1: Casual things have energy. So if you don't want that to happen to you, then do something about it. But you might think, Genesia, I'm really desperate there because I've really got no money at the end of the month I've got bills to pay, I've got child support, I got this, I got that. I got so many things to pay. I am really desperate. End of the month, I need money. If not, I have to fire the people on my team. I have to do this, I have to do that. Okay?

[00:11:12]
Speaker 1: But you know what? What's going to turn it around. If nothing else, your language is free. It's a habit. It's hard at first, but when you change your words, you are going to change your thoughts and your thoughts will impact the actions you are going to take.

[00:11:31]
Speaker 1: The best way to change your language is to embrace an attitude of gratitude. Gratitude is the fastest way to change your mental state and it's the easiest one to go to, even when you don't know what else to do. This really helped me a few years ago when pretty much everything in my life feels really terrible. Whenever I feel the urge to gossip and say negative things about it, I will say these statements out loud. And here we go.

[00:12:07]
Speaker 1: I'm really grateful. I'm really grateful. I'm really grateful for the air I breathe. I'm really grateful for growing my business. I'm really grateful I've got internet. I'm really grateful for my health and my healthy body. I'm really grateful for my healthy family. I'm really grateful for my persistence, my ability to break through negative belief or limiting beliefs. I'm really grateful that even things are going tough. I'm really grateful for my own persistence and being able to compartmentalize myself so that can pull through this difficult season.

[00:12:51]
Speaker 1: I am grateful I live in Singapore. I'm really grateful I live in this country. And so on. So here's the tip. You can wear, like, a friendship band or elastic band on your wrist, okay? If you find yourself saying old negative, shitty stuff, you can give yourself a shock and say, shut that shit down. Well, it's an amazing pattern interrupter.

[00:13:27]
Speaker 1: You have to be aware first before things can change. If you notice that self awareness going around your words is going to change your reality. We can create amazing businesses and we can create amazing, fabulous winning awards. We can create our own podcast, write our books. We can create things to help people solve their problems.

[00:13:52]
Speaker 1: We can inspire other people and make all the money we desire. We can even charge premium prizes for our products and services. We just need to change the conversation between our two years. So be honest with yourself for the next couple of days. Be aware of some of the things you're saying out loud and share them with me.

[00:14:20]
Speaker 1: Or share it with your peers. Remember, words have power, use them wisely. Or you can share them with me and send them to me at hello@soulrichwoman.com. All right. My dear, my dear, dear, dear. Remember, you are bigger than that. You are amazing. You are the most beautiful. You are amazing, okay? And I am so excited for your own transformation. So take care of yourself and speak to you soon. Your language matters. Bye for now.
