Nancy Salley:

As you listen to this passage, reflect on the depth of God's grace and how it transforms your heart and actions. But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. It is only by God's grace that you've been saved. For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are reunited with Christ Jesus. So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united in Christ Jesus.

Nancy Salley:

Ephesians two, four through seven. God's grace is a gift. It's not earned by our actions, but freely given because of his incredible love for us. In Ephesians, Paul reminds us that even though we were dead in our sins, God's mercy gave us life when he raised Jesus from the dead. This is the foundation of our faith.

Nancy Salley:

The grace of God that rescues us, redeems us, and calls us into a new life. Think about how God's grace has shaped your journey. What does it mean for you to be raised with Christ and seated with him in the heavenly places? It's not just a future promise, it's a present reality. Right now, you can experience the life giving power of God's grace.

Nancy Salley:

Take a deep breath and allow yourself to fully receive the grace of God in your life today. As you breathe out, release any guilt, shame, or unforgiveness you might be holding on to. No matter what mistakes you've made, no matter how far you've wandered, his grace is sufficient. His mercy is new every morning. Is there someone in your life who needs to experience the same forgiveness you've been given?

Nancy Salley:

Let God's grace flow through you to them today. Grace isn't just a gift. It's a call to action. When we fully grasp the magnitude of God's grace, it propels us to live differently, to serve others, to forgive, and to love without conditions. Live today as a reflection of the incredible grace that has been poured out for you.

Nancy Salley:

Imagine yourself standing at the foot of a large flowing river. The water is clear, peaceful, and full of life. As you look into the water, you see your reflection, but it's distorted by the weight of your mistakes and regrets. You feel burdened by everything you've carried as though the weight is holding you back from stepping into freedom. Then as you watch, you see Jesus walking toward you.

Nancy Salley:

His presence is warm and inviting. He gently reaches out to you, offering his hand. As you take it, you feel all the weight of your burdens begin to lift. Jesus leads you to the river's edge. And with a simple gesture, he allows you to step into the water.

Nancy Salley:

As you do, the reflection clears and you feel the grace of God washing over you, renewing, healing, and restoring you completely. As you go about this week, may you walk in the fullness of God's grace, knowing that you are loved, forgiven, and called to extend that same love and grace to those around you. May his grace renew your heart and empower you to live with a spirit of compassion and mercy, reflecting his love in all you do.
