The countdown to Sunday’s Eagles-Chiefs game has begun. For many, it’s not about the game. It’s about the commercials which are rated—discussed—made fun of—and celebrated.
Last year—one category stood out. Cryptocurrency. We saw spots from Coinbase, eToro, Crypto.com, and the star of the show, FTX. Fast forward to Sunday. Not one crypto ad. Zero. Zilch. Fox Sports says all deals for crypto companies are dead. Bitcoin was $42,000 a year ago. A year later, it’s down 55%. Not much marketing sizzle.
If last year was the CryptoBowl—it’s the BoozeBowl this year. 5 companies are in for this year’s game.
