Hello, flower friends. This is Jen and you're listening to the Floral Hustle podcast on this week's mini sode. We're going to talk about the one mantra, the one statement that you should have in your business. And the reason why I say like you should have this one statement is because โ fundamentally when your business is running with ease.
Is running and it feels really good. โโ Profits are going to come. Your ideal client is going to come. Like, that positive energy is going to attract or be a magnet to more positive energy. โโ If you are running your business that this is really hard. That this never seems to go right. I'm not making enough money. โโโโ
You know, all these just negative, negative, negative. โโโ Connotations, feelings, energy. โ are happening in your business, โโ you're literally going to keep attracting that. And I know that sounds woo, but when โโโโโ I changed my energy around my business, that this wasn't, this isn't hard, this is easy. When I normalized โโ a 20, 000 weekend was no big deal. โโ
When I normalized, if something happened with the flowers, it's figureoutable. โโโโโโโโโ When all of that, like, normalization started and all of this, like, just making it, โ yeah, I don't need it to be that way anymore. โโโโโ It just shifted the energy. It shifted the momentum in my business. โโ So this one statement is, what would it look like if this...
Was easy. โโโโ And this is a question that it seems really simple โโโโ but I'm guessing you're never asking yourself that. โ Because we feel stuck in hard. โโโโ We feel like we've pulled into hard and we live in this place of hard. โโ Things being hard, clients being hard, the flower market, you know, I can never get the right stuff and it's always bad.
Like, we just have this stuck energy in that things are hard. โโโโโโ So, what would it look like if this was easy? If things were easy in your business? โโโโโ Maybe that would be laying out clearer expectations with the people that work for you. Maybe that would be having a hard conversation with your wholesaler. โโ
Maybe that would be hiring someone. โโโ Maybe that would be not doing something anymore. โโ Like, you are the CEO of your business, and you get to choose โ everything. โโโ And as CEOs, we feel โโโ so disempowered. โโโโโ And we're the boss. So we feel like our business is running us instead of us. We are running our business, โโโโโโ and you deserve to be the CEO your business deserves. โโโโโโโ
Because โ that business deserves to be profitable. That business deserves to be fulfilling. โโ That business deserves to be the business of your dreams. โโโ And I know that that sounds really, in theory, very fluffy and rainbows and unicorns. โโ But unless you actually start at a point of deciding that the past is the past, and I don't want to operate my business like that anymore.
I don't want proposals to feel hard anymore. โ Okay, how can I make that not hard? Let's take this example. โโโ Well, what is hard in the proposal? Well, it takes a long time. Okay. What part for one, how long is it taking? And what part it feels like it takes a long time? Well, I'm pulling all these flowers in and that's taking forever. โ
Okay. โ Do you have any preloaded flowers in there? โโโโโโโ Um, okay. โโโโโ Alright. โ Then, โโโ you can move on from, okay, โ the flower loading, like grabbing all the flowers in there is, is a problem. โโ Um, โโโโโโโ then, โโโโโโโโ you know, you, you can make a plan to maybe either hire someone. โ Um, you could, uh, go and Just power hour it and go in and do something to, um, really just get this done with.
And so you have this library. I have folders and my folders have green flowers, purple flowers, red flowers, because that felt hard. And I decided it wasn't going to be hard anymore. โโโโ So I spent time โ to fix it so that going forward that was no longer hard. โโโโโโโโ And you deserve things to be easy. โโโ And if you want easy and don't know what easy even is, โโโ try to find something to support you.
Try to find a flower friend to support you. Join my brand new mastermind. I'm doing interviews right now because things are going to be easy with my girls in the mastermind. Their life is going to change. โโโ To the easy button. โโโ So โ if you want change, โ make the decision to make change happen, โ then make plans to get that change moving forward. โโโโโ
You are the CEO of your business and you deserve โโ to have the business of your dreams. โโโโโโโ Also, one last thing that I want to say that I think has been really helpful for me, โ have yourself a CEO day and you're probably going, what in the F is a CEO day? โ You sit down and you think about these big picture moments like this. โโโโโโ
And when you think about those big picture moments. โโโโ Like, you can actually try to figure out how to fix them. If you never take concentrated time to get momentum in your business, you are going to be exactly โโ where you are right now. Or backwards, because then you get frustrated, then you feel like crap, and then everything just goes backwards.
