This episode is one of my favorites because we are doing the astrology of 2026 for business owners. So if you are curious about what the overall astrology for the new year has in store for you, and most importantly, how you can use it to start, grow, or, scale your online business, then keep listening.
There is a lot going on with the astrology of 2026. And I think that more so than previous years, this is going to be an astrologically big year for business owners because it's answering a lot of hard hitting questions that have been weighing a lot of us down and also carrying us through a lot of the difficult transits that have been happening over the last few years.
This is such an important topic that this is actually the first out of a two part series I'm gonna be doing here on the podcast on the topic, to really help you to prepare or if you are listening to this in 2026, then really take note of exactly how you can utilize this energy as much as possible.
Now before we get started, I do want to mention that this episode is really going to highlight the major transits that you need to be looking out for in 2026. What are really going to be making this year astrologically what it is, and setting us up for as much success as possible. These are transits you really wanna keep an eye on.

So what's going on astrologically in 2026? Okay, so here's the thing, especially when I was researching the major events are gonna be going down in 2026, what really caught my eye is the fact that it is a quieter year astrologically than previous years.
Now, I'm a Hellenistic traditional astrologer. I don't use the outer planets. So it's quite interesting in the way that I utilize transit work. To be honest, it's not like a huge part of my personal practice. But I really do enjoy looking at the transits for getting a feel for what is happening to the collective.
So when I was looking at the major events that are going to be going down astrologically in 2026, what really caught my eye is the fact that there's less movement in terms of major transits. Of course, we have the usual suspects of major ingresses - really big transitions with the planets between one sign to another. There are two specifically that really caught my eye that are gonna be playing a really big role in making 2026 the year that it's going to be. There's also the eclipses and then the retrogrades. These are the major astrological events that really set the tone for what the year is going to be.
But what I noticed is that there aren't really like a ton of these events, to be honest. Like they're really spread out throughout the year, but they're really focused. And I felt that was so interesting because the reality is in business, in astrology, in life.... it's not necessarily about having a large amount of action. Really your ability to, especially when we're talking about business, right? It's your ability to take qualified action that really sets the tone.
It's not about doing more. It's not about sitting around and trying to figure out what the next steps are and looking at the options. To be honest, 2025 has answered the question for a lot of us of what are the options that are available to us?
2026 astrologically is setting up to be a year of action. It's about the other side of what is required to make your dreams a reality, which is to be devoted to the action that is required to make them a reality, right? To make that transition from just an idea, just a concept and a thought into something that is tangible, that is real, that is a living, breathing, existing thing out into the world; that exists beyond your imagination of what is possible.
And so a lot of these transits, while there aren't as many big whoa transits that are happening astrologically like there were in 2025. But they're really packing a big punch and they're answering this question for the collective.
Now, of course, there are personal transits that we all have to look forward to that may differ from the general transits. And this all depends on your personal astrology that you can dive deeper into with a Year Ahead reading or Solar Return reading.
But knowing the major transits really helped to give an overall sense of what to expect, and also give you a general idea of how to begin planning accordingly for 2026.
What I also think is of note as well is that we are starting 2026 with this energy. At the time of this recording, Mars is in Capricorn. And I thought it was quite interesting that we're starting the year off with this transit in particular, because Mars is exalted in the sign of Capricorn. It loves to be there. Capricorn is its favored place, right? Because Mars is able to do its best work, and we're also being released from a lot of heavy Martian transits around this time as well. So literally starting off 2026 with this just reaffirms the fact that this year is about taking action.
If you take nothing else away from the astrology, the best thing that you can do for your business, for your life, for everything is to be as committed and devoted to taking action as you are to the imagination and the exploration of possibilities of what could happen.
Ultimately, we have to be devoted to the work. It's not just about the imagining of what is possible. It's not just sitting in the options that are available. It's also about being committed to the process of making them tangible and real: going through the process and understanding what's working, what's not; being curious about what those actions look like.
And even when challenges arise, especially because Mars is a maleic planet, that brings about challenges in the way that we interact with energy, with momentum, with our commitment and our drive to take action. And where often a lot of folks, especially if you have a unfavorable Mars placement, have a lot of friction around the ability to be committed to work and procrastination.
Knowing that ahead of time and understanding your relationship to work, to momentum, to working towards making your dreams a reality... these are going to be the things that set you up for success in 2026.
So with all that said, let's get into the major ingress of 2026. And surprisingly, there are two that I wanna spotlight here.
Now, if we're looking at it from the perspective of using only the seven traditional planets, there are two major ingresses that we wanna keep an eye out on for 2026.
Now, there are way more ingresses that are happening this year. And an ingress is simply when a planet is changing signs, so it's moving from the sign that it's currently in into a new sign. That's all an ingress is.
There are two specifically that I wanna highlight that are setting the tone for 2026 and what's interesting is that these are both the outer traditional planets, Jupiter and Saturn. This is, again, setting the tone and carrying through that theme of both authenticity and commitment to action.
The first transit that I wanna talk about, it's happening earlier in the year.
We're gonna really feel the effects of this because we've already had this transit, but it's going to be settled in more permanently, and that is Saturn in Aries. So this is going to be direct February 13th, it's gonna carry through for a really long time.
Both Saturn and Jupiter have longer transits. They're also the outer of the traditional planets, so they have more of a impact on the collective than on us individually. Although again, your personal placements may shift that, especially if Saturn or Jupiter are playing like really big roles in your personal chart.
So remember what I said about 2026 being led by authenticity and action? Well, this is even more important when you consider the fact that Aries is ruled by Mars.
So we have a Saturn placement here that is ruled by Mars. That is bringing up a lot of what we've already talked about. The themes are gonna be carrying throughout the year and that are gonna be reinforced and reintroduced.
This is also interesting when you consider the fact that Saturn is fallen when it's in Aries, so it doesn't like to be here if we're looking at planetary condition, which is so important when you're considering overall the energy that specific ingresses are bringing, or specific transits in general are bringing into the collective.
We have the energy of a Saturn that is losing its power here. It's not as strong. Saturn's also another maleic planet. So it's going to naturally bring about challenges in the realm of delays, of quite literally holding off on you receiving the thing that you wanna receive.
So considering this, Saturn in Aries is going to impact us collectively in the delaying the area of which Aries rules over. So generally speaking, this is gonna play a really big role in how we're able to build our relationship to work, to devotion to work, to taking action, to being strategic around what is required in order for us to build momentum and get things done. But also what holds us back from being able to do that? Is it our own ego? Is it our own perception of and definition of what success should look like at a specific stage?
How this comes up for you is gonna deeply depend on your own Mars placement, your own Saturn placement, the relationship between this transit with your own natal placement, but also your relationship to work and to commitment to taking action in general.
Saturn is a planet that is notorious for just taking a really long time with it's transits. It's a slower moving planet. So you wanna just be mindful of this. This is going to be something that re-emerges for you multiple times throughout the year, especially around the Saturn retrograde, which is going to occur in the later half of 2026.
So this is not gonna be a question that is going to have an easy answer, nor is it gonna be one that is easily resolved. But if being more committed to your work is something that is at the forefront of your mind for 2026, then this is a really great transit to be working with for that, because it's going to help you to reevaluate what is needed and necessary and what is actually hindering you from being able to achieve this.
Now, the second major ingress of 2026 that I wanna note is dealing with Jupiter, and this is specifically Jupiter in Leo. This is gonna be, I'm not even gonna lie. It's gonna be one of my favorite transits of 2026.
In 2025, Jupiter is in its sign of exaltation in Cancer. But moving into Leo is going to also have this much needed shift, this breath of fresh air because we're gonna have two of the outer planets moving into fire signs. It's going to bring that momentum and energy and break this hazy resistance to commitment to action. It's going to be a nice shift, I think from this space of wanting to not be as committed to things. Moving both Saturn and Jupiter into fire signs is going to bring this fresh air into being reinvigorated by our goals and our desires, and ultimately what is what is gonna be required from us in order to make them tangible?
So Jupiter in Leo is going to be giving a boost to some of the themes that are gonna be arising for you, specifically around Saturn. Now, Jupiter's gonna move into Leo June 30th, right at the start of the summer. If you have Leo ruling personal planets, it is ruling over any major placements for you, especially your Midheaven or any of your angles. Specifically at Leo Risings, my fellow Leo Risings... this is a placement you wanna really keep an eye out on.
So I'm personally really excited for this. I think it's going to pair really nicely with the energy and the questions that are gonna be arising, but most importantly, the solutions that will be considered during Saturn in Aries as well. And it's also just gonna play nicely in expanding the other areas that we are gonna see in the Leo ruled houses.
So these are the two major transit that I have my eye on that are asking the question of how do we remain committed to the action of what is required to make our dreams a reality? Now, you also wanna keep in mind Jupiter is also going to be experiencing a retrograde in 2026. That's gonna be happening March to December.
Again, Jupiter and Saturn have really long transits. They also have really long retrogrades as well. So Jupiter's gonna be retrograding March 10th, really early in the year. It's gonna start in Cancer It's gonna continue until December 12th, where it's gonna end in Leo.
So you wanna keep that in mind for sure, especially around the Jupiter themes that this may be impacting or even the Cancer and Leo ruled houses in your chart as well. But again, I'll be talking more specifically about this and how they will impact you in the Midheaven Forecast.
So those are the major ingresses of 2026. But I wanna shift to the other major astrological event that is happening, which is eclipse season 2026. This is also gonna be a very, very big deal and really playing a role in authenticity and action, and our commitment to it.
When it comes to the eclipses, we are having a continuation of the Virgo Pisces axis that we are currently experiencing from 2025, but we're also gonna be getting our first eclipses in the Leo Aquarius axis as well. So this is really exciting.
It's gonna bring about new changes in these different areas of the chart. So you definitely wanna pay attention to where they are and most importantly, how they're gonna be impacting you specifically.
Eclipses are specifically malefic, chaotic energy. So these are not necessarily things astrologically I would advise you to want to consciously be working with.
They're gonna just unfold and shake up and bring about unexpected changes to the area of the chart that they're ruling over. So wherever you have Virgo, Pisces, Leo, and Aquarius are gonna be where you're going to experience these changes during their eclipse patterns.
And eclipses also always happen in pairs, so that's something else to keep in mind. It's in this weird like transitionary stage. It's going to be shaking up both the area of the chart that you're already experiencing this shifting, that Virgo Pisces axis we begun this eclipse cycle in 2025. We're continuing on with it so it's a story that is still in the process of being unfolded for you. But we're also gonna be introducing the next chapter with that Leo Aquarius axis and the beginnings of what that eclipse story is gonna look like as well.
If we look at the timeline as well with when these eclipses are going to occur, it's really interesting to keep in mind. The first pair of eclipses, the Solar Eclipse and the Lunar Eclipse are gonna happen at the beginning of the year. So the Solar Eclipse in Aquarius, the first eclipse that we're gonna experience in 2026, is gonna occur February 17th, and we're gonna have the Lunar Eclipse occurring on March 7th in Virgo.
So Aquarius, Virgo. Both of these signs are going to start off these stories. So you wanna just keep in mind of where both of these signs rule in your chart.
I think it's so interesting that we're having these eclipses occur so early in the year, because they are introducing this idea that even if you're not ready, this is the direction that we're heading in. So what do you need to do to prepare, to get yourself ready?
During quarter three is when we're going to have the next two eclipses, starting with the Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 12th and the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on August 28th. So August is gonna be a really big month, in regards to these eclipses.
Again, this is happening in the middle of the story when we're considering eclipse season. So you wanna consider what is the current unfolding? What does that look like for you with the current Virgo Pisces axis? How have the eclipses already unfolded for you in terms of the houses that it's ruling, the planets that are being impacted by this? And then also, how will that continue to unfold for you in the next eclipse chapter, involving Leo and Aquarius?
This is really good as well because you're getting a little bit of a preview, and time to prepare for the next chapter in the eclipse cycle. But ultimately, eclipses do bring about unexpected change to wherever they're unfolding, but they're also meant to do their own thing.
And so, the more that you can, yes, prepare, but also release this pressure to control exactly what that unfolding looks like, you may be surprised at how that helps you to build momentum and to move forward in the places where you're feeling stagnation or even resistance to changing action.
Now, the last transits that I wanna talk about for 2026 are gonna be the retrogrades.
Retrogrades are part of regular planetary maintenance for the planets that do retrograde, because not everyone does. Okay. And also not all retrogrades occur every single year. So what I thought was so interesting as well in 2026, we don't have a Mars retrograde. Woo-hoo. So that's quite exciting, especially if Mars retrograde was a bit challenging for you.
There actually are only four planets that are retrograding in 2026: Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn.
So starting off with Mercury retrograde, okay, there's gonna be three in 2026. They're going to be all in water signs this time around. So 2025, we had Mercury retrograding in fire signs, and those were arguably some of the strongest Mercury retrogrades that we've had in quite some time, specifically the final Mercury Retrograde that occurred in Sagittarius.
So in 2026, they're gonna be quite interesting in the sense that they're gonna be unfolding in the houses that are dealing with our connection with the collective, with people, with our relationship to both ourselves and the communities that we are devoted; to the collective that we are a part of; how we may or may not be willing to lose ourselves in building these relationships or vice versa, how we find ourselves so intertwined with the collective that we lose sense of who we are individually and have to come back and remind ourselves who we are.
The first Mercury Retrograde is gonna be occurring February 26th until March 20th in Pisces. The second Mercury retrograde is gonna occur in Cancer from June 29th until July 23rd. And then the third and final Mercury retrograde is happening in Scorpio from October 24th until November 13th.

So definitely make sure that you check that out, especially if Mercury retrograde is something that freaks you out, or you just want a little bit more guidance on how to best support your business through that time, because you can definitely still have a positive, successful business, even during Mercury retrograde.
The next planet that is gonna retrograde in 2026 is Venus. This isn't going to occur until later on in the year, until quarter three. So we got a little bit of time, okay? But it is going to occur in both Scorpio and Libra from October 3rd until November 13th. And Venus rules over attraction, right? So this is dealing with the things that we find attractive and what we are attracted to. So you may find that this retrograde is bringing up that relationship for you, as well as this desire to built change around the areas that Venus rules over. So you wanna just keep that in mind during this Venus retrograde and the things that may arise for you.
And then, as I mentioned earlier, we also have Jupiter and Saturn that are retrograding as well, which are quite long retrogrades, especially in relation to the personal planets of Venus and Mercury.
So the fact that there are only four planets retrograding, we have the Eclipse season, and we also have two major planetary ingress in 2026... just because there's less astrological energy that's impacting the collective, that doesn't mean that these aren't gonna pack a punch because they very much are.
So what can you take away from this as a business owner to prepare for 2026? We don't have a lot of really big astrological energy, and I think that's a really good thing. Because the quality of these astrological events... they're saying what they need to say. They're doing what they need to do, which is to get us to get our butts in gear and to really focus on what is truly important, what really matters, instead of getting overwhelmed by the noise of what's happening outside of us.
If you've been dragging your feet around getting back to what truly matters or if you find yourself in a space where you want to transition, you want to make a shift, you wanna make a change, but you're not sure what that looks like? 2026 is gonna be the year when that change happens, whether you like it or not.
These astrological events are set up specifically, not to cause you pain and strife, but to really force you to make decisions. And I think for a lot of business owners, if you're in a space where you feel stuck or stagnant or you're just not sure where to go, part of that is the indecision, the inability to make a decision. So being forced to do that could actually be the exact thing that you need to get unstuck.
We're carrying in this energy of 2026 of remaining committed to authenticity and the action that is required in order to do the things that we say that we want to do.
