You know, once you get through that initial red hot first hour or two, picking up one or two fish an hour, if they're the right fish, it's worth sticking it in there for. And then on the flip side is for the big heads, and that's becoming more and more of a tactic that if it's a lot like forward facing sonar now, it's with bass fishing.

If you want to compete when the conditions are a certain way, you have to know how to do that tactic. And that's an interesting thing that's happened. The big head fishery around here within a few hours has really gone crazy and there's a lot more teams that specialize in hunting bighead carp, and they're not as tired of the water conditions because it can be muddy and you can still shoot them because they're on the surface and there's a lot of special tactics that go into it.

A lot of those fish on rivers. So you're looking for different types of habitat. You're looking for those current breaks, you know, you're looking for for those fish running up rivers to go spawn or are they fallen back to the main lake? And so what's funny is you see these different tactics here and it's like battle the old school, the big airboats, the big horsepower, the bright lights against Littlejohn boats and flashlights and being sneaky and trolling motors.

Bow fishing is being what deer hunting used to be before it was cool to go out and sit in a tree by yourself and. And hide from somebody until you killed a deer. Then you showed everybody. Well, bow fishing is like I go hang out with everybody, and then I'll show everybody what I did and everybody celebrates me, and then they want to beat me next.

But everybody, if you don't if you haven't taken your kid bow fishing, you're missing out because it's it's addictive for them. Once they get into it and they have a little bit of success, you've already you've put it in their veins and you know, when you're long gone, they're still going to go boat fish.

And my son and my daughter, they both fish every chance they get, you know, And it's just from when they were little kids, they got into it and they loved it. I had a swimming pool in the backyard. And as a as a parent, you know, you know it's hard to teach a young child we're killing something, but it's okay. You know what I mean? Yeah, we're eating it, but but we're killing it.
