Welcome to Story Bitez. Who am I? I’m Jessica Vibez, I’m here to keep the stories alive. Who are you? Well, you’re my friends, we’re gonna tell stories to the very end. Story Bitez.
Hi friends. I’m so happy you’re here. On Story Bitez we go on adventures, meet new friends, and learn something special every time. All you need to do is get comfy, open your ears, and let your imagination take you… ANYWHERE. Today’s story is all about Jay Jay and DJ, a brother and sister who decided to work hard, save money, and give their mom the surprise of a lifetime. They’ll show us that even little kids can do big things when they put their hearts into it.
Jay Jay and DJ’s mom was what you might call… a superhero in sneakers. She could work all day, pick up groceries, carry three bags on each arm, and still ask, “What do my angels want for dinner tonight?”
“Jay Jay wants lazongnia!” DJ announced proudly.
Jay Jay groaned. “It’s lasagna, DJ. And you want it too.”
DJ shrugged. “Yeah, but it’s fun watching you correct me.”
Mom laughed and waved them to the couch while she cooked. The smell filled the house—cheesy, tomato-y, totally drool-worthy. But when dinner was ready, something happened. Mom didn’t eat. She sat down, folded her arms on the table… and started snoring.
Jay Jay whispered, “Look at her. She’s exhausted. We need to do something for Mom.”
“Like what?” DJ asked.
“I dunno… something BIG.”
“Like buy her a lifetime supply of lasagna?”
“No… bigger. We’re gonna earn money, and we’re gonna give her the best surprise ever!”
The next day, Jay Jay asked the principal if kids could get jobs. Turns out… they could. And not just one job—they got TWO!
Job number one: School yard cleaners. Job number two: Newspaper delivery crew.
Day one was… an adventure. The yard work was fine—until DJ accidentally pulled up the principal’s prized rose bush. Jay Jay hissed, “Put it back! Put it back!” DJ shoved it into the dirt sideways, like a flower doing a handstand.
Then came the paper route. Jay Jay tried to throw a paper onto Mrs. Jenkins’ porch… but it went straight into her fish pond. The goldfish floated under it, looking like it was reading the comics.
Another day, DJ tripped over the stack of papers and rolled down a little hill—laughing the whole way. Jay Jay called, “DJ, we’re supposed to deliver the news, not BE the news!”
Still, they worked hard. Rain or shine. Sore feet, sore hands. And every Friday when they got their two hundred dollars, they high-fived so hard their hands stung. “Work hard. Love harder!” they shouted every time.
After four weeks, they had eight hundred dollars. Enough for Mom’s favorite dinner at her favorite restaurant, a sparkly necklace that said “Number One Mom,” and decorations for the house.
That Saturday, while Mom was out getting groceries, they went full ninja mode—vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing dishes, and folding laundry into little smiley faces. When Mom walked in, the house was sparkling, the table had flowers, and Jay Jay and DJ were standing there in their best “ta-da” pose.
“Surprise!” they yelled.
“Today, no cooking, no cleaning. You’re the queen,” Jay Jay said.
“We’ve got this,” DJ added.
That night, before they gave her the shiny gift, they told her they had something special to read.
Mom, you are the brightest light,
You make our wrongs all turn to right.
We see the things you do each day,
And now it’s time to give our way.
With jobs and laughs, we made a plan,
To show you love the best we can.
We’ll work real hard, through any weather,
To make you smile forever and ever.
Then they handed her the little box. Inside was the “Number One Mom” necklace, shining like a tiny crown. Her eyes got all shiny too. “You two… this is the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for me.”
Jay Jay grinned. “Told you, Mom. We work hard…”
DJ jumped in, “…and love harder!”
It’s important to appreciate the people who are there for you the most. And sometimes, just a little effort can mean everything to someone you love.
And that’s the story of Jay Jay and DJ Make Money.
