Rowdy – Laaaame.
Then we’re gonna talk about the games we’ve been playing such as Tales of Arise, Cruis’n Blast, No More Heroes 3, and Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 edition…
We’ll end the show with a special BONUS POINTS where we asked all you lamers out there, who would you put in the cast of the new Mario Bros movie?

GAMES WE’VE BEEN PLAYING:
Tales of Arise
• With 1000% less annoying sentences about BLASTIA CORES!
• Gives me Tales of Symphonia vibes.
o Story reads a bit like a Xanga short story by some emo kid. “The story revolves around a man who is a slave with an iron mask and he can feel no pain. He is journeying with a woman who wants to tear down the structure of the enslavers but those who get close to her only feel pain leaving her alone.” I swear I wanted to dark my eyes and put on some black nail polish just reading that. After that you go around fighting area Lords that are siphoning souls in a contest to determine who is going to be the lead of some twisted soul sucking pokemon game without pokemon…it’s people.
o Still good story in general. It gets better towards the 3rd area. Some surprising twists already.
• Story can be a bit stale at times and it feels like the time progression moves faster than it really is happening in game. “I remember when this character used to teach me things like how to fight and be a good man, blah blah blah” Dude, he was with you for maybe a couple days and just said some stuff at the end of the fight or in minor cut scenes. Acting like he’s been around for years.
• A bit on rails but overall a good time.
• Combat is fantastic. Reminds me of Tales of Symphonia mixed with a touch of Xenoblace Chronicles 2
o My wife HATES all the yelling during combat.
• Graphics are fantastic. Quality anime cell shading, good use of particle effects on the XSX. Wish it was in HDR.

From a Mediaite article transcribing the video –
“Oh, I loved that game,” said Pratt, who then laughed as he recalled how he would usually not have a quarter so he would steal one from a nearby wishing well.
“That’s wild, it just dawned on me right now,” he said, “the quarter I stole out of the wishing well to play Super Mario Bros. has come true, that I get to be the voice of Mario, but I clearly stole someone else’s wish, so just waiting for that row of karma dominoes to come crashing down on me.”
“But as it is right now, ‘It’s-a me, Mario'” Pratt continued, quickly adding, “That’s not the voice, you’ll have to wait to hear the voice,” promising his fans “we’ve been working hard at it.”
“I’m really excited to announce that I’m gonna be the voice of that video game that I dreamed about playing as a kid, “he concluded. “Dreams come true.”
