Hello and welcome to the Transfer News Podcast! I'm Archer, and it's Wednesday, the eleventh of February, two thousand and twenty-six. We've got a packed show today with transfer rumors swirling around some of the Premier League's biggest names, plus some intriguing moves happening across Europe. Let's dive straight in.

First up, Aston Villa are reportedly plotting a move for Morgan Gibbs-White. Unai Emery seems keen to bolster his midfield options, and the Nottingham Forest playmaker could be just the creative spark Villa are looking for as they push for European qualification.

Now, some news from Saudi Arabia that's been dominating the gossip columns. Cristiano Ronaldo is apparently set to end his strike at Al-Nassr, with reports suggesting the Portuguese legend had been at odds with the club. It's been quite the saga, and it seems a resolution might finally be in sight.

Staying with Ronaldo briefly, there were reports over the weekend that his Saudi club could offload him for forty-three million pounds. That's a significant fee for a player in his late thirties, but Ronaldo's commercial value remains immense wherever he goes.

Switching focus to Manchester United, Sandro Tonali is reportedly high on their shortlist. The Newcastle midfielder has impressed since returning from his betting ban, and interim manager Michael Carrick is apparently keen to strengthen his midfield options as United look to rebuild.

Interestingly, Tonali is also said to be a top target for Juventus. The Italian international could find himself with quite the decision to make if both clubs come calling, though Newcastle will surely be reluctant to part with such a talented player so soon after his arrival.

Real Madrid are reportedly stepping up their interest in Rodri. The Manchester City midfielder has been one of the Premier League's most consistent performers, and Los Blancos view him as the ideal anchor for their midfield for years to come.

Liverpool are set to rival Manchester United for Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton. The young midfielder has been turning heads with his composed performances, and it seems both clubs see him as a long-term investment worth pursuing.

Speaking of Palace, Jean-Philippe Mateta has apparently agreed a move to AC Milan. The striker has been in good form for Oliver Glasner's side, and this could leave Palace needing to find a replacement before the transfer window closes.

However, Nottingham Forest have reportedly made a thirty-five million pound bid for Mateta. If Palace haven't fully completed his Milan move, Sean Dyche's side could yet hijack the deal as they look to add more firepower up front.

Aston Villa's interest in Mateta has also been reported, so it seems the French striker is in high demand. Villa are clearly looking to add depth to their attacking options as they juggle domestic and European commitments.

Marcus Rashford apparently wants to stay at Barcelona. The Manchester United forward moved on loan to the Catalan giants, and it seems he's settled well in Spain and would like to make the move permanent.

Everton striker Beto is reportedly wanted by Juventus. The Portuguese forward has had limited opportunities under David Moyes at Goodison Park, and a move to Serie A could offer him the regular football he craves.

Curtis Jones of Liverpool is apparently wanted on loan by Inter Milan. The midfielder has found game time hard to come by under Arne Slot, and a temporary move to Italy could benefit all parties involved.

Raheem Sterling is reportedly in talks with seven clubs. The winger's future remains uncertain, and it seems multiple teams across Europe are interested in securing his services, whether on loan or permanently.

Juventus are also keeping tabs on Randal Kolo Muani and Joshua Zirkzee. The Italian giants are clearly looking to refresh their attacking options, and both forwards fit the profile of what they're seeking.

Brighton have rejected an approach for Lewis Dunk. The captain remains crucial to Fabian Hurzeler's plans, and the Seagulls have made it clear he's not for sale despite interest from elsewhere.

Manchester City are reportedly keeping tabs on Trent Alexander-Arnold. The Liverpool right-back's contract situation has been the subject of much speculation, and City joining the race could complicate matters further for the Reds.

Tottenham could apparently pay five million pounds for Andy Robertson. The Liverpool left-back has been a stalwart for years, but with younger options emerging, Thomas Frank might see him as an experienced addition to bolster Spurs' defense.

However, reports suggest there will be no Real Madrid exit for Trent Alexander-Arnold. Despite earlier speculation linking him with a move to Spain, it seems the defender will remain in the Premier League for now.

Mohamed Salah is reportedly a prime target for the Saudi Pro League. The Liverpool superstar continues to perform at the highest level, but the financial lure of Saudi Arabia remains strong, and this could be a saga that rumbles on.

Villa are also said to be targeting Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The former Chelsea midfielder has been at AC Milan, and Unai Emery apparently sees him as someone who could add physicality and technical quality to his midfield.

Chelsea are reportedly open to selling Enzo Fernandez. The Argentine midfielder arrived for a British record fee, but under Liam Rosenior, it seems the Blues might be willing to listen to offers if the price is right.

Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate's contract situation apparently remains unsettled. The French center-back has been crucial to Liverpool's defense, and the club will be keen to tie him down to a new deal sooner rather than later.

And finally, Bayern Munich are in intensive talks over a new deal for Harry Kane. The English striker has been prolific since moving to Germany, and Bayern are understandably eager to secure his long-term future at the Allianz Arena. I have to say, seeing Kane finally winning trophies after all those years at Tottenham has been quite something.
