What is Web Dev with Matt?

Want to learn web development from the comfort of your chair, car, when you're out for a run, or doing some random house work? This is the show for you. Every week, in 20 - 40 minutes, I help you improve your web development skills with new knowledge, tips, pointers, random facts, inspiration, and some general chit chat. Tune in to have a fun, engaging, and friendly conversation about web development.

So what is the podcast about and what do you get? Well in this, the series introduction, I wanted to answer those questions, and more.

The aim of the website, which you can find at https://webdevwithmatt.com, is, while perhaps a little kitsch, about teaching people how to build, test, secure, and deploy web-based applications with a friend, m e, Matthew Setter. Now, I appreciate that it's a be hard to teach web development in a podcast. However, in a podcast we can reflect on, chew the fat, and discuss ideas, technologies, concepts, and everything else that goes into building modern web applications.

So, that's exactly what you're going to get. Each week, I'll be discussing some aspect of web development. It might be something that I learned that week, something that I've known for some time, something that someone asked me to talk about, or something topical in the week that was.

Along with that, you'll get tips, tricks, and pointers to help you develop quicker, more efficiently, that make developing that much more enjoyable, or, quite honestly, were just interesting to know about.

If you're keen to grow your web development with someone who's also continuing to learn, in a warm, friendly, relaxed, and fun way, then subscribe in your podcast app or platform of choice, and let's have a fun chat each week about the ins and outs of web development.
