OK Solberg:

Wanna again welcome you ahead of The 04:05 Coffee Break. Guys, get your cup of coffee, glass iced tea, bottle of water, hot steaming mug of hot chocolate. Let's see what's happening.

OK Solberg:

Spring wheat $5.57 a bushel. 550lb steer calf $4.08 a pound all the way up to $4.12. A butcher hog in Iowa 57ยข a pound, and a 100lb fat lamb in Billings at $2.40 a pound. But guys, there's more, much more.

OK Solberg:

Okay. Okay. Saw this as I scrolled the Internet. You ever scroll the Internet? And this is what it said. If you still remember these 12 TV shows from the 1960's and '70s your memory is sharper than most people your age.

OK Solberg:

It was a trick. You know it. You know what I did? What did I have to do? I had to see how good my memory was so I clicked on it. Here's what it said.

OK Solberg:

The 1st one, The Andy Griffith Show. Are you kidding me? Yes. I can remember it. I've seen every episode more than once. I love the show and remember it dearly.

OK Solberg:

Now guys, have you seen season 4 episode 4 titled the sermon for today? I have to admit it's a terrible sermon but it was a good episode. It was a terrible sermon because it doesn't have one shred of scripture included. I'll help. All sermons need to have scripture.

OK Solberg:

And I'll give you my scripture right now. It says from 2nd Timothy 3:16 all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. Okay. Back to, if you still remember these 12 TV shows from the 60's and 70's, your memory is sharper than most people your age.

OK Solberg:

The 2nd one is Bonanza. Oh, boy. Do I remember that one? Can you name the characters? Can you name them? You know, guys, we watch Bonanza every week or tried to.

OK Solberg:

Number 3, The Twilight Zone. Oh, yes. I remember it, but it was a little too scary for this little country boy. Besides, it was on late at night. I was in early to better, but I sure remember it. I even still pull it up and watch some of the reruns. Great TV show.

OK Solberg:

Number 4, what's it gonna be? I Love Lucy. Oh, I watched it. I remember. Remember that episode where she works at the candy factory? Yeah. That was awesome.

OK Solberg:

Number 5, Star Trek. Oh, man. I sure do remember it. I do. But don't hate me for this. I was never a Trekkie. But I did like William Shatner in Twilight Zone when he said to his girlfriend, stop treating me like a retarded child. He really did say that.

OK Solberg:

Number 6, The Brady Bunch. Do I remember it? Here's a story of a lovely lady who was bringing up three very lovely girls. All of them had hair of gold like their mother, the youngest one in curls. Yep. That's for you Mike Lowney. He loved the Brady Bunch.

OK Solberg:

Number 7, All in the Family. Do I remember? I told you so. Didn't I, Meathead?

OK Solberg:

Number 8 is MASH. Come on. If I forgot MASH, I'd be ready for the long care dementia award.

OK Solberg:

Number 9 is Happy Days. You remember watching Happy Days? Oh, how could I forget happy days? It was a great show. And when they 1st brought the Fawns on, no one could forget that. He was just cool.

OK Solberg:

Number 10, The Mary Tyler Moore show. You did you watch it? You can remember it. Can't you still hear Mary say, I'm an experienced woman. I've been around and lose gruff statement. If I don't like you, I'll fire you.

OK Solberg:

Number 11 comes in as Gilligan's Island. I love Gilligan's Island. How could I forget? Hey, little buddy.

OK Solberg:

And finally, the last one at number 12, the Carol Burnett show. Oh, yes. We remember them all. It was a great show and it made us laugh. Remember the ear tug? Carol's ear tug? Tim Conway making Harvey Corman break character. He could make Harvey laugh. You gotta remember the Gone With The Wind parody with the curtain rod dress. Oh, yes. From 1967 through 1978, Saturday nights meant variety show magic when it came to the Carol Burnett show.

OK Solberg:

So how many of the 12 do you remember? All of them, I hope. There was The Andy Griffith Show, Bonanza, The Twilight Zone, I Love Lucy, Star Trek, The Brady Bunch. You're not gonna sing that song again, are you? All in the Family, MASH, Happy Days, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Gilligan's Island, and The Carol Burnett Show. I remember them all. I hope you do as well.

OK Solberg:

The weekend is near. Go out and enjoy. So until next time, as you go out there, remember now, don't be bitter.
