Hello, daily peppers, and a very happy Thursday to you. So, a little while ago, I started reading the book Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway by Susan Jefferson. And I want to share something I learned that I think feels pretty relevant right now, and it's this. All fears, no matter how specific they are, what they're about, or how deep they are, they all come down to this one thing. The fear of not being able to handle it. So today, I want to remind you that you can handle whatever comes your way. I was talking to a dear friend a while ago about fear and how it's a bit like a catch 22. The thing is, you get more resilient from going through stuff.

Yet because you've gone through stuff, the fear exacerbates because it knows how painful shit can be. But here's something we don't ever take the time to recognize. You are stronger now than you have ever been. You are more capable now than you've ever been. And you have a whole wealth of skills and experience to back that up and to back you up. You can handle things. And the proof is in the fact that you're listening to this right now and that you have handled things. Maybe present, you would have gone back and handled some things a bit differently.

But hindsight is, after all, a strange bastard. Carving your own path is scary. Creativity involves taking risk. And like I say every week on the Courage Makers podcast, creating a life you love takes a shitload of courage. You've got this. You are stronger than you ever thought possible. And you can do it. Even if sometimes you move at a snail's pace with your eyes squeezed really tightly shut, just keep on moving.

Because you can handle whatever the world has to throw at you. I have a feeling you might have needed to hear that today. I know I do. So I hope you have a wonderful Thursday and I'll see you back here tomorrow.
