Hello, hi, and welcome or welcome back to the Strategic Magic podcast. I'm your host Blu, and I am a business astrology consultant here to help you use astrology so that you can start, grow, and and scale your online business.
I am so thrilled that you've been as inspired by the topics on the podcast as I have been. There was a really good response to last week's episode talking about how to pivot your online business. But you can consider this episode to be an extension of the conversation that was started in the previous episode.
I wanted to dive deeper into what happens when your business isn't working and how astrology specifically can help you to fix it.
So if you are in a space where you are considering either a pivot or burning down your business entirely, it's probably because your business just isn't working. And when I say your business isn't working, I don't mean that it's never worked. I just mean that the things that have worked previously have stopped. Maybe it's been all of a sudden, maybe it's been a continuous pattern, but you've noticed that things aren't as easy as they used to be.
This is one of the most common things that I see from my clients, and honestly, the space that I love to support folks in the best. Because being in the space means that once you have had things that have worked, that means that they have the potential to work again. So it's not that you're wrong, or the things that you have done are wrong. It just means that we need to make some necessary pivots and changes and adjustments in order to continue evolving your business.
So let's get into the meat of this, of why your business isn't working to really address the core root of the problem. The biggest reason why your business isn't working when you're at this space where you're considering either making massive change in your business or breaking away entirely, is because the foundations that got you started just aren't hitting like they used to.
So if this is a space that you're in, you're probably noticing that you have the solid foundations of your business, meaning that you know what your identity is. You know what your niche is, how you are operating within the space, especially as an online service provider. You're either a coach, a consultant, or an online service provider of some sort.
You have that down. You understand that you are providing a service to your audience and you're doing that through your signature offer or service, or one of many offers or services that you provide your clients in helping them to solve a problem.
You know how to market through using social media, and you have sold in the past. You have gone through this formula of knowing that, okay, I need to post on this particular platform. Maybe it's Instagram, maybe it's TikTok, it doesn't really matter. But if I post on this platform, I'm gonna grow my audience. If I grow my audience, then I'm gonna get at traction to my offer and services, and then people are gonna book. And that's probably the process that you've used in the past. And it worked until it didn't.
One thing I wanna make abundantly clear is that this is not a personal failing of yours. The online business space is a massively different beast than it once was. It used to be very much that the output that you received matched the input, meaning that as long as you put in a certain amount of effort, you can almost guarantee that the results were going to be what you expected them to be. If you posted enough times on social media, you were almost guaranteed to have folks in your offers, or at the very least, signing up for the free thing that you were offering that eventually led to the paid offer. It was so much easier.
And now, we're at a point where not only is the market just drastically different. People are buying online differently. People are interacting with the social media platforms and with online service providers completely differently than they used to.
So it's both an understanding that the market has drastically changed and the times that we're in has changed. And so the foundations that got you to this point in knowing that you have to have your niche, your offer, understand your marketing, and know how to sell that offer and deliver on that offer.... all of that is still the same. It's still very much a necessity in order to create a successful business as an online service provider. The problem is just that the execution of what that looks like has not evolved from when you got started. And that's why your business isn't working.
So the things that have gotten you to this point in making your first sale, maybe even having your first few clients under your belt. All those actions were in service of just getting started, in building momentum, in trying to figure out what worked.
But now that you have that foundation, now that you know what it is that you offer, now that you have had experience working with clients directly, the reason your business isn't working is because it hasn't evolved past that goal.
What has that end goal looked like after you book the first few clients, after you have booked out the service? After you have introduced the offer? Once you've gotten to the point where your business is now relatively established and you need to make some pivots and changes in order to update it, in order to continue having it be a relevant and needed and necessary service to your audience; even to continue to market to folks that are in your audience who are already familiar with you and your work and your offers. What does all that look like?
This is where so many folks get stuck and they think that the solution is to either burn down their business completely or to chase after another offer, to make something new in order to build back up that momentum.
But burning down what has already worked in service of creating something new and starting from scratch is not going to be the best service for you. It's not going to serve you, nor is it going to serve your business.
So instead, it's really getting clear on what the actual problem is and why your business isn't working: it's because your foundations have not evolved to the level of business that you're in. And you simply need to make those necessary pivots and adjustments while keeping the foundations of your business the same.
Evolve it to the level of business that you're in. Evolve it to the level of experience that you have. And most importantly, integrate it into who you are, what your experiences are, and specifically where you truly shine. That is what is going to make your business work again.
This is why I'm such a huge advocate of integrating astrology into your business strategy. Because that really helps to answer the question of how do I make my business feel more like me and stepping away from this feeling that I need to follow a certain formula to success.
The reason why your business isn't working really isn't as complex as you think. And when you're able to truly understand this from a strategic level, becomes so much easier to navigate.
The foundations always remain the same no matter how experienced you get in business. But the quality of your work really has to deepen the more experienced you become in your business.
This is also exactly the work that we do inside of Private Astrologer, my private consulting program. This is my one-on-one program where I work with online service providers to help you use astrology in your business.
So if you wanna learn more about the program and how this can best support you in growing and scaling your online service-based business, then I wanna encourage you to book a sales call with me.
The link to that can be found in the show notes, so definitely make sure that you check that I can't wait to see you on the sales call, and in the next episode. Bye!
