What is Prime Cleaning and Restoration Podcast with Jordan Brush?

Prime Cleaning and Restoration Podcast with Jordan Brush is straight talk on air quality, water damage, and what restoration really costs — from the guy who built Prime Cleaning and Restoration of Tyler from the ground up. No sales pitch, just the truth from someone who's done the work.

Today I want to talk about something that a lot of people probably do not think much about until there is a problem, and that is restaurant cleaning. A lot of folks assume cleaning a restaurant is just wiping things down and making sure the place looks presentable for customers.
I will be honest with you, restaurant cleaning is one of those things where consistency matters more than almost anything else. You cannot do a good job one time and then expect everything to stay in good shape if the standards are not maintained day after day.
The reason consistency matters so much is because restaurants deal with constant activity from the moment those doors open. There is foot traffic, kitchen grease, food particles, spills, air circulation, and a lot happening in places customers never even see.
A lot of people focus on what is visible in a restaurant, and that makes sense because appearance matters. What most people forget is that cleanliness behind the scenes often matters even more than what people notice from the dining area.
If you let small cleaning issues build up over time, bigger problems eventually follow. That can mean odors, poor air quality, unhealthy working conditions, and equipment working harder than it should because buildup starts affecting performance.
At the end of the day, consistency is what prevents those bigger problems from happening. It is a whole lot easier to stay ahead of issues than it is trying to fix damage after things have already gotten out of control.
I learned a long time ago that work ethic matters in everything you do, no matter what kind of business you are in. I have talked before about hauling hay when I was eleven years old, and that kind of hard work teaches you something early that stays with you forever.
You start understanding pretty quickly that doing the job right means showing up the same way every single day. Discipline is not about doing something well once, it is about doing it right over and over again when nobody is watching.
That same mindset carries directly into cleaning work, especially when we are working with restaurants and commercial spaces. The standard cannot change depending on how busy you are or whether someone feels like cutting corners that day.
I think sometimes people underestimate what goes into professional cleaning because they only see the final result. What they do not see is the process, the attention to detail, and the consistency required to keep those standards where they need to be.
This time of year is a perfect example because around the Fourth of July season restaurants get busy fast. More customers coming in means more pressure on staff, more food preparation happening, and more wear and tear building up throughout the facility.
When that kind of volume increases, consistency becomes even more important because things pile up quickly. If cleaning routines fall behind during busy periods, problems can start developing before people even realize it.
We believe the same thing with every service we provide, and that is doing the work right the first time. We are not interested in rushing through jobs just to move on to the next one because quality always comes first.
I have always believed your reputation is everything, and once people trust you, you better protect that trust. That means showing up, doing what you promised, and standing behind the work whether anybody notices or not.
The truth is most successful businesses are built on consistency more than anything else. It is not flashy, it is not exciting, but showing up and doing good work repeatedly is what separates good businesses from the ones that struggle long term.
That is how I have always approached this business and honestly how I approach life in general. Hard work matters, discipline matters, and doing things right when nobody is paying attention matters even more.
