Speaker 2:Hello, my friend.
Speaker 1:Welcome to another episode of Style Thief Fashion Podcast. I'm excited about this episode. I did this last year at the end of the year, and I am excited to share with you again. As I'm reflecting back on 2025 and my own personal style journey, I shared in the previous episode that, honestly, 2025 was not my most fearless style year ever, which was what I set out for it to be. My style word of 2025
Speaker 2:was fearless. And I shared in
Speaker 1:the last episode that this year was so hard for I know everyone can speak to this. And for myself personally, it definitely did not feel fearless. But I was able to reflect back on why, and I'm okay with it. I'm practicing self compassion. And that's what I came to the conclusion of.
Speaker 1:It's like, okay, so you weren't as fearless in your style, but what did you achieve? And what were the things you liked and that worked really well? And I did have a few fun purchases and things that I really loved and relied on throughout the year that I want to share with you. So if you usually listen to this as you're walking or driving, this might be one that you want to pull up on YouTube because I'm going to be showing you the pieces that I really loved that I purchased throughout the year. And whatever I can link, I will.
Speaker 1:But some of these were purchases that I made secondhand, which I'm so proud of myself for doing more of that again this year. I would say this year, I shopped maybe even more secondhand than brand new retail, and that is a huge accomplishment for me. Places like Close Mentor, the local women's resale shop that I love and I work with so much, Poshmark, other thrift stores in the area. Even when I was traveling, was able to find a couple great purchases in some local thrift stores. I'm really proud of myself for that.
Speaker 1:And it's so fun to hunt and curate in that way. I just really love it. And I don't see myself turning back and wanting to do actually more of that in 2026. So I'm gonna go by season. We're gonna start with winter, then we'll go spring, summer, fall.
Speaker 1:Some of my favorite purchases that I've made throughout the year. So let's dive in. First, and again, you might wanna watch this on YouTube. I'll try to be as descriptive as I can. But if you want to see some of the things I'm talking about, you'll want to tune into YouTube and watch this.
Speaker 1:So the first purchase that I want to highlight that I loved from winter is a piece that I found at ClothesMentor. I'm wearing it right now. And it is this cut off army green, olive green shirt. And so it looks like the utility jackets, which made a big comeback actually this fall. I'm still searching to find one for the replacement.
Speaker 1:I had one for years and I got rid of it cause I wasn't wearing it much and it was a little too small. And so I've been searching second hand for another utility jacket. But I will tell you, this purchase was inspired by Jenna Lyons. If you watch her on Real Housewives of New York City or follow her on Instagram, she wears a cut off, like, shirt, olive green utility shirt all the time, and I love that. And I was like, I'm gonna wait around for the right one to come along before I do this.
Speaker 1:And I believe hers, she cut the sleeves off. I didn't do that with this one. I just roll them up. And I love that I I think, you know, with my wardrobe and the pieces in my closet, I always want versatility. And I think I was feeling a bit limited if I would cut them off.
Speaker 1:Maybe I will do that someday. But I like having the option of still being able to wear the sleeves rolled down if I want, rolling them up. It's oversized enough that I can roll the sleeves up, like, past my elbow. So if I was wearing it in the summer, it kind of looked like a short sleeve shirt. But it's it's a cut off, shirt jacket, and it's got the two utility pockets here on the chest.
Speaker 1:It's got the, I'm not gonna remember the word for the little flaps on the shoulders. Oh my god. How embarrassing. It's boxy. I love it.
Speaker 1:I'll show you a couple photos of how I styled it. For a photoshoot with my friend Kara at the beginning of the year, also inspired by Jenna Lyons, I had the white button down with, like, the black tie underneath. I'm wearing it with just a t shirt and jeans today. I have worn this thing so much. I've thrown it over dresses and skirts.
Speaker 1:I love wearing it with jeans. I love I'm gonna layer a turtleneck underneath it and wear it this winter. It's a jacket. It's a shirt. It's all the things.
Speaker 1:It is one of my favorite pieces that I have purchased through this year. And I got it at Close Mentor. So I would say if you're looking for something like this, go second hand and find it. And you can customize it. You can cut it off yourself.
Speaker 1:You can cut the sleeves off if you want. Really make it yours. This one is really like faded. There's some distressing on it. I love it.
Speaker 1:I'm I'm gonna keep it forever. I love it so much.
Speaker 2:So that was one of
Speaker 1:my first purchases for the new year. The second was a shirt from Mango that I'm holding up now. And it's a denim shirt, which I have many of because denim is my favorite. Jeans, jackets, denim shirts. But this one has also a tie that is attached in the back that you can tie in a bow at the neck.
Speaker 1:And it is so cute. I wore this a ton in the winter and spring. I've layered this under like a v neck sweater and the tie just peaks out. I've worn it with a blazer. I've worn it on its own.
Speaker 1:I've worn this denim shirt open with just the ties kind of hanging down like this, not tied in a bow at the neck. But as soon as I saw this, I was like, I have to have that because I love a pussybow moment. That's what they're called. Did you know that? When you see these, like, blouses and stuff with the big bow at the neck, it's called a pussybow.
Speaker 1:I know. I didn't name it that, but listen. We can call it that.
Speaker 2:So I love I love I
Speaker 1:just love a bow. I really went bow crazy in my holiday decorating as well. And I thought it was just kind of things that I look for. And the way that I used to describe my style when I thought that I had to have it very succinct and I no longer believe that was that I wanted classic with a twist. And I think a denim shirt is definitely a classic, but the tie here, the bow tie at the at the neck is a twist.
Speaker 1:So it definitely fits in that. It's not that I'm not attracted to or don't identify with those that phrase anymore. I absolutely do. But that's what I really liked about it, and I have worn this so much. And the tie is attached here in the back so it won't come off.
Speaker 1:But if this is something that you wanna try, you could even find a way to, like, take a piece of denim fabric, cut it in a tie, like, cut it in a skinny strip, and then wear it around your neck. You don't have to buy shirts that have this attached, but you could easily create that on your own if you wanted. These were my winter purchases that I loved. Not a sweater, surprisingly, not a coat. I was looking around.
Speaker 1:I I'm like, I haven't bought any jackets or coats this year, although I did get one from Clothes Mentor just a couple weeks ago. But at the beginning of the year, no. So these two shirts were my favorite winter purchases for 2025. Now as we got into the spring, this is when I got really into the barrel leg jean, finally. Now I love to try a trend, but I'm not one that has to hop on every trend just because everyone else, and it took me a minute with Barrel Leg Jeans.
Speaker 1:But the ones that finally sold me and sold many of you as well, they were a hit in the spring style guide, and I wore them all spring and summer were these Gap ultra soft horseshoe jeans, I believe is what they're called. They are baggy. They are elastic waist. It also had a drawstring, but I hate a drawstring at the waist, so I took it out. I just don't understand why if there's elastic, I also need a drawstring.
Speaker 1:So I remove it. I'm the boss of my clothes. I tell my clothes what to do. So these are very exaggerated wide leg, but the the denim was so lightweight. These were comfortable through the hottest days in the summer.
Speaker 1:I always felt cute. I would wear an oversized button down shirt with like a tank top tucked in. I wore these with t shirts, jackets. I wore them with boots this fall and a sweater. I'll wear them again.
Speaker 1:I love these jeans so much. They came out in lots of different patterns and colors. I did buy a tan pair as well, and I wore those a lot this summer and fall too. But I don't know. I hope Gap brings these back.
Speaker 1:And if you didn't catch them, I'll see if they're still available so I can link them in the show notes. Definitely exaggerated in terms of how big the legs are. So if you're not into that, this might not be your first foray into a barrel leg jean, although it was for me. I was like, a humongous horseshoe barrel leg. Great.
Speaker 1:I'm in. I think it was the elastic waist, honestly, that did it for me because as I shared in a previous episode, late spring, early summer, I started to have a lot of digestive issues, and I was very bloated and uncomfortable. And so elastic waist pants were the way. So these were the gateway jean that led me then to purchase two more pairs of barrel leg jeans in the spring. Both are from Lebanon Shop, and I got them at The Mix, my favorite local boutique.
Speaker 1:So LaBonde shop is a brand I've talked about. I love their socks. I love their t shirts. I love their basics, but they have a pair of pants called the ARC pant, a r c. I will link them for you in the show notes.
Speaker 1:Also, come in lots of different colors, but they are a denim fabric. So I bought a pair in this, like, washed black. That is my favorite version. I I don't own I think I own one pair of, like, true dark black jeans. But this, like, faded wash, almost charcoal gray color, I feel, is even more versatile than having a straight black jean in your closet.
Speaker 1:So these were great. Again, the elastic waist. And then they had a leopard print pair that I also got. And these go out of stock really quickly, but we'll see if they are gonna bring them back. But if you like a barrel leg jean, if you like a POP, a pull on pant, the Arc Pant you would love.
Speaker 2:I will tell you, if
Speaker 1:you are tall, I'm five'seven and they hit me right at the ankle. But if you are, if you have longer legs or are tall, these these the Arc Pant will not be the pant for you because they will be too short. And with a barrel leg jean or pant, I think the sweet spot length you want is right at that ankle bone. No matter how tall you are, whether you are, you know, five three or you're six feet tall, I think you want that Barrel Leg jean to get the shape right. If they're too long or too short, that's where a lot of people, I think, have thought, I don't like the Barrel Leg jean.
Speaker 1:The inseam really, really matters here with the Barrel Leg. So if you're on the taller side, the arc pant might not be the way for you to go. The gap horseshoe jean would be something to try, and there are so many other barrel legs. So I think that's the length is what has tripped many people off, or tripped them up in terms of not getting on board. I And think there are certain denim and pants silhouettes where the length makes all the difference.
Speaker 1:And I think the barrel leg is one of them. I think that ankle length is what you want to get the most versatility. So that was my spring purchase was those three pairs of Barrel Leg jeans, and I really ended up loving them so much. So summertime, summer was the height of my just feeling really bad, and I didn't purchase a lot. Also, I know, like many of you, the summertime getting dressed is just not fun.
Speaker 1:It's not great. It's hot. It's miserable. It's like shorts and a t shirt. What's the variation?
Speaker 1:I throw a dress on if I'm doing something dressed up. But there was one purchase I made from was it Aerie that I wore all the time? And it was this set from Aerie. So it's this cotton pop, really lightweight. The fabric, I am obsessed with.
Speaker 1:I love the the fabric of this set. It's a pair of POP pull on pants. They're shorts. They have pockets, gathered oh, nice wide gathered waistband. And the pair that I got are a light blue and a navy stripe.
Speaker 1:And there's a matching oversized I mean, so perfectly oversized button down shirt. And there were a couple different versions of this set that Aerie had available. And I hit a sale, and I feel like I got the shirt for, like, I don't know, $15 and the the shorts were maybe. I wore these two things all the time. These were the shorts I threw over my bathing suit to wear to the pool.
Speaker 1:I wore the shirt with jean shorts. I wore it with jeans. I wore this together to travel. I wore this set all the time. You can hear me.
Speaker 1:The fabric is so lightweight. So many of you messaged me. I put this in the summer style guide. Capsule. I wore it myself.
Speaker 1:I showed you all the ways that I wore it. The shirt is big and oversized, but lightweight enough that it was easy to tuck into jeans. It looks so cool. I wore it into the fall. If this comes back, which I'm sure it will, I don't know if this colorway will come back, which some of you did tell me you felt like a clown in this big kind of exaggerated stripe, which I totally understand.
Speaker 1:I almost regret not getting another set, but I wore this one so much. And it's like, I thought, I don't know. It makes enough of an of a statement and an impact that I feel cute. If I had another one that was a solid, I just don't know if I would have worn it as much. And I had a couple other like, I have a black pair of pull on shorts and a black button down.
Speaker 1:I could achieve the same sort of idea. So I I ended up getting this one and loving it loving it so much. I I have the I
Speaker 2:put the shorts away when I was
Speaker 1:kind of redoing and shifting things around in my closet. But I feel like I might still wanna wear the shirt this winter, so I'm gonna keep it out. But this set from Aerie, again, if it's still available, I will link it in the show notes. This was my summer win for sure. Oversized button down was my go to, a stretchy pull on short because I was bloated, and that's what we did.
Speaker 1:So that was summer. Now fall, I was prepping for Style Thief fashion show. And there's an a podcast episode coming where I'll share more with you about the journey, specifically styling the outfits for that show. But I had a vision in my head of what I wanted, and I was able to achieve it with some help, I will tell you. But the things I purchased for the show are not only the final things I wanna share with you for this year in review of purchases I made, but my favorite things.
Speaker 1:The favorite, favorite things I bought all year long. I love them so much. I can't wait to wear them again already. The first being this pair of Levi's. I actually got two pairs of Levi vintage Levi's.
Speaker 1:One pair that I wore in the show, are behind me. I didn't pull them out to show you this. From Jean Genie. If you don't follow her, I have purchased three pairs of jeans from her. She sources vintage Levi's, and I love them so much.
Speaker 1:I was specifically trying to find a pair from 1977, which is the year that I was born, or 1996, which is the year I graduated. But, after we all watched Kendrick Lamar on the Super Bowl, I was like, well, I need simply have to have some Levi's five seventeens, which are the traditional, like, Levi's boot cut jean. And I will tell you, I have discovered through all of my I have so many pairs of jeans. I love them all so much.
Speaker 2:They're like my children. But Levi's really are
Speaker 1:my favorite. I do not have a butt, but Levi's, the positioning of the pockets, the way they are constructed make me look like I have a butt. Ones are my favorite straight leg. Five seventeens are my favorite flare leg. So in the show, I wore the pair of five seventeen straight legs I got from Meg at Jean Genie.
Speaker 1:And I will link her here. She's amazing. The way she sources, she'll tell you everything you need to know. I love having vintage Levi's jeans. It's so much fun.
Speaker 1:So now that I know and I've done so much research that Levi's are my favorite, whenever I am in a thrift store and I am sourcing and looking at things, I always go to the men's jeans section because the other thing I've learned about myself is men's jeans I do prefer. I don't have a super defined waist. I am more straight. My my waist to hip ratio is not that big. I don't have a defined waist, so I can wear things that are pretty straight across in terms of the waist.
Speaker 1:I don't like a super high rise. So anytime I am at a thrift store, I will go and look at men's jeans. And I found a pair of Levi's at another favorite thrift store, which is, Assistance League. And I think most cities have an Assistance League thrift store. Ours is so close to my house.
Speaker 1:So sometimes after the gym, I just pop over there. Well, I popped over there on a Wednesday, and I was in between appointments. I was on my way to see another client who lived closer to me. And I was like, well, have, like, an hour to kill. I'm gonna pop into Assistance League.
Speaker 1:And there was a line out the door. And I was like, what is going on? Well, it was Wednesday. And I don't know if this is everywhere, but the Wednesdays at my Assistance League thrift store, it's half off. So I go in there.
Speaker 1:I'm poking around, and I find a pair of men's Levi's jeans with the orange tab, a more rare find.
Speaker 2:And they are too big
Speaker 1:for me. They are also five seventeens,
Speaker 2:so they are a little bit of a bootcut. They're too big, but
Speaker 1:I love them. And I was like, oh my gosh. I'm totally gonna get these jeans. I wore them a ton this fall. They look so cool with my Frida Salvador boots, which from my favorite purchase of 2025 because they're just cropped enough that you can see more of the boot.
Speaker 1:Oh my god. They're just they're so cool. I love them. And I get up to the counter, and they're they're priced at $7.50. So it's half half off day.
Speaker 2:So I got them for, like, $3. And they're a pair
Speaker 1:of my favorite they're so big and baggy, and I just love them. Love them. Love them. Love them. Love my Levi's from Jean Genie, but also this pair that I thrifted for $3 score.
Speaker 2:Feel so good about that purchase. Okay.
Speaker 1:A new to me t shirt brand. I've known about the brand for a while because a couple of my clients turned me onto Nuds, n u u d s, is the t shirt brand. They have other things, not just t shirts, but it's great for basics. They're size inclusive. The quality is amazing.
Speaker 1:So I have a client who is obsessed with nudes t shirts, and I wanted a really great, little bit heavier weight cotton t shirt to wear in the show because I'm a jeans and t shirt kinda gal. My boxy tee from Everlane is a favorite of mine. The weight of it is great. I love to layer with it in the summertime. Well, actually, year round.
Speaker 1:I have several of those that t shirt. But I was like, I feel like I want something that's a little bit longer because that one is is a little bit shorter, the Everlane one. And I want a thicker weight. And so I was like, I need to go to nudes because I know that the quality of these t shirts is amazing, and they are. So I purchased just their standard t shirt.
Speaker 1:I have the white one. They have a full shade range, so different shades to match different skin tones. So it goes from white to deep chocolate brown. And then they have other colors, navy, reds, things like that. But I got just got the basic white t shirt, and the quality is excellent.
Speaker 1:It's a little bit heavier weight cotton. Not heavy in terms of it's gonna be heavy on your body and be hot and sweaty. It's not that at all. The arm length is really nice. It is a little bit boxier fit.
Speaker 1:It's a little bit longer. It looks super cool tucked in. They also have a t shirt bodysuit, which I also got and I love. So if you don't like to tuck things in because of the bulk, you might love the bodysuit. So it's the look of a t shirt on top, but a bodysuit, so don't have to worry about tucking it in.
Speaker 1:So nudes for the win. I can't wait to get more of these. They are this you know, also, I should have said none of this is sponsored. No one asked me to talk about these things. I'm just doing it because I love these things genuinely.
Speaker 1:Spent my own money on them. So Nudes is now a new favorite t shirt. I have so many white t shirts. I love them. I have so many favorites, but this one is doubt now at the top of the list.
Speaker 1:So nudes t shirt, love it so much. Then the final thing that I purchased is back here for the show. I do a couple outfit changes in the show because, you know, why wouldn't I? It's a show about personal style. You gotta change your clothes.
Speaker 1:So I knew that I feel amazing in a suit, trouser, like flare leg long, sharp, tailored trouser, and blazer. I love blazers. And I really wanted to go with something that was a color, something that fit really well, really excellent quality. And I thought, well, I gotta go to Argent. Again, this was a brand I had shopped for some of my clients, but I'd never owned myself.
Speaker 1:Well, let me tell you something about Argent. Once you go with Argent, there is no other suit you're gonna wanna wear. So I chose I believe that this color and this suit might be new just this season. I don't know if it's something that they'll bring back. It is like a foresty green.
Speaker 1:Forest green isn't maybe the word. What did they call this color? I'm gonna have to go back and check. I will link it in the show notes. In fact, I linked this in the previous, couple weeks ago episode where I recapped the show and what I wore.
Speaker 1:I can't stop talking about the suit. I'm like, how can I wear this suit 17 more times before the end of the year? Because it's perfect for holiday, this green color. It's the most gorgeous asymmetrical blazer. And asymmetrical meaning that the, it's it's not really a double breasted, but the button kind of comes over.
Speaker 1:Constructed. The fabric is amazing, and there's a beautiful flare leg that hit the floor, which I loved. So I wore my big high shoes with it, my Sarah Jessica Parker satin, like, neon green heels with this. It looked amazing. I had a leopard print pussy blow blouse underneath.
Speaker 1:I will find a picture. Someone, my friend Paul, took a great photo of it, and I will share that outfit with you. I felt incredible in this suit. This suit, I will never wear any other brand but Arjun. The pants are a flare leg, which you can't really tell.
Speaker 1:Again, the picture what I'm showing you here on camera just doesn't do it justice. I'll have to show you a photo. So go to Instagram, watch us on YouTube, and I'll post a photo. But the quality, construction, the fit, like a glove out of the box. Also, also, this is a major suit.
Speaker 1:Okay? It's like an oversized blazer, a nice long pants. The box that showed up on my doorstep was like, I don't know, 17 inches by 11 inches or something. I mean, I was like, this is the suit, it said, Argent. I pulled these two pieces out of the box they were folded in, that they had traveled across the country to get to me.
Speaker 1:Not a wrinkle. Not a wrinkle, you guys. Not a wrinkle. I didn't even have to steam it before I went on stage, and it looked incredible. The other thing about Argent, if you listen to the previous episode, you're gonna know what I'm gonna say.
Speaker 1:Designed by a woman. Her name is Sally. I messaged her, and I was like, I need you to know how much this suit means to me. I felt amazing. We all need those things
Speaker 2:in our closet. I talked
Speaker 1:about this in the previous week's episode. If you have if you build and curate and take the time, your personal style and your wardrobe to bring you the things that you need when you need them, whether you need comfort because you're feeling bloated all summer because of digestive issues or you walk in your closet and you're like, okay, friends. I gotta feel like a powerful badass today. And the Argent suit is there for you. That's what you need.
Speaker 1:That is what this suit gave to me. I felt powerful. I felt beautiful. I felt strong. I felt sexy.
Speaker 1:I can't wait to wear this with nothing underneath it and just button it and have it be like this sexy,
Speaker 2:full suited moment. Designed by a woman. And you can tell
Speaker 1:that right away just because of the fabric and the quality and the construction. It's enough of a shoulder pad to give you a strong shoulder, but not so much that it's overwhelming. I went to push the sleeves up. There's elastic in the sleeve. There's elastic in built into the sleeve so you don't have to do the trick anymore where you put the hair tie and you pull it up.
Speaker 1:We gotta buy those things that hold up your sleeve. No. She just put elastic in here for us so we don't even have to do it. The inside is satin, so whatever you're wearing is not gonna catch or get stuck. Gorgeous.
Speaker 1:And then on the inside, there are pockets because women need pockets too. We have stuff. We're not we don't wanna put just in our bag when we're walking out on stage. I can't bring a purse. Maybe I wanna have my lip gloss with me.
Speaker 1:So do you know what there is in this? There is a pocket on the right side that is three sections. Oh, my lip gloss is still in here. And I was talking to my friend Katie because she owns some Argent Blazers. And she's like, well, did you check to see the pockets?
Speaker 1:Because on the right side, you're gonna have a pocket that has three sections. She's like, it's probably meant for a pen, but I think it's a lip gloss pocket. And it is. So I put my lip gloss in there, walked my ass out on stage, hands free, didn't have to have a purse, and then the other side has, like, the traditional slot pocket on the left as well. So can you tell I love the suit?
Speaker 1:So that by far ended the year on a very strong note with my favorite purchase of the year, which is the Argent suit. And I have another one waiting in the wings in another color for my twenty twenty six Style Thief fashion show tour that is equally as amazing. And it's a super bright color, and I cannot wait to wear it. So even though overall, I think I lost sight of my fearless feel that I wanted in my clothes, I did have some wins. Lot of secondhand purchases that I loved, some great Levi's jeans that I added to my collection that are also vintage, introduced myself to the Barrel Leg jean, loved it.
Speaker 1:A cute set for the summer, and then that Argent suit to round out the year. Oh, and a new favorite t shirt brand as well. Pretty successful. You know, thinking into 2026, my wish list like, I I don't I didn't even make a lot of wish lists. I usually do that for every season.
Speaker 1:Like, here's the things I'm wanting or I wanna replace or curate or whatever. I didn't even do a lot of that this summer. There wasn't a ton of shopping. Toward the end of the year, there was more shopping for the show, and I did get a couple more pieces than I'm gonna wear into next year for a couple of the other cities that I go to. But I do take comfort in the fact that although it wasn't as fearless in terms of my outfits and the style and the way I was putting things together, I had what I needed in my wardrobe.
Speaker 1:And that is success. That's a good place to be in your wardrobe when you have the things that you need and you can lean on. You know what works for you. So it's fun for me when I know I love jeans so much and they always work really well that I can go to a vintage Levi's and I know what to look for. So I always love sharing my journey with you.
Speaker 1:The things that I'm loving, that's what I do with the seasonal style guides, the things that I love, the things that my clients are asking me for. I'm keeping an eye out for trends and things that we're seeing. I link it all for you there, and I show you how to style it in the lookbook section so you get inspiration for how to put these pieces together and also inspiration for how to use more of what's in your closet. I will say I wore a lot of my clothes. And I do think it's because as I put these style guides together, I'm putting things together in new ways, and I'm getting inspiration too.
Speaker 1:So it helps that I I didn't have to shop as much because I had so much in my wardrobe that I knew I could utilize. So I'm always happy to share these things with you. If I think of other things that I purchased that I've forgotten about because I went through every category. I didn't have a major shoe purchase this year like I did last year with my Frida Salvador boots. I didn't purchase a coat.
Speaker 1:I had some fun jewelry, but nothing that felt, you know, like, oh, I have to share this year. So that's my recap of twenty twenty six purchases. Like I said, I will link everything that I can. I'll certainly link the brands for you. If the pieces are still available, I will also link those in the show notes.
Speaker 1:But a good thing to do if you want to know what my picks are and you want to know the things that I'm loving and wearing and shopping for, my seasonal style guides are a great way to get that four times a year plus a bonus holiday guide that just came out. You get inspiration sent to your inbox. There are links that you can shop, but then there's so much outfit inspiration in there. If you just wanna know how can I rethink my summer wardrobe or what am I gonna wear this winter that still feels fun without having to buy a lot of things? You always have the option to buy and purchase some of the pieces that I link, but mostly, I hope you use it as inspiration as a tool in your personal style for how to utilize more of what you already own.
Speaker 1:I cover every category of clothing, basics like jeans and t shirts, shoes, outerwear, accessories appropriate for every single season. I link size inclusive brands, secondhand options, big box stores that you're familiar with, like Old Navy and Gap, and then some smaller independent women owned brands that I like to highlight as well. You'll find it all every single season in the style guide. So if you subscribe today, you'll get access to the holiday style guide. So if you have any holiday plans coming up, you just want some outfit inspiration, lots of easy approachable outfits using pieces I bet you already have in your wardrobe or in the style guide.
Speaker 1:That was the year 2026 or 2025 year in review. It's winding down. I can't believe it. I did have some style wins. This was helpful for me to go back and look because in the previous episode, I was feeling a little bit sad that I didn't have as many fearless style choices.
Speaker 1:But definitely that argent suit really came in at the last minute and made me feel fearless for sure. So share with me what some of your favorite things were that you purchased. I love to hear about it. And if there's things on your wish list for 2026, tell me what they are too, and we can talk about a style year in review as we head into the new year as well.
