James Dooley:
Experts to follow on LinkedIn. Today we're going to go through the best SEO experts to follow on LinkedIn. LinkedIn is somewhere I'm personally trying to get a bit better at. One of the first guys I go to is Matt Diggity. Matt Diggity is great on LinkedIn. He has a huge following and it's been growing year upon year. What would you suggest Karl?
Karl Hudson:
I'm going to throw some random ones in the mix. I've never met this guy yet but he's absolutely brilliant on technical SEO. Daniel Foley Carter. He's very active on LinkedIn. He's very good when it comes to technical SEO. I'm going to reach out to him at some point. I want to meet him because he shares a lot of great information. He’s a very advanced technical SEO. Technical SEO is a weakness of mine but he's one of the ones I follow for technical SEO advice. Daniel Foley Carter is someone I would follow on LinkedIn.
Karl Hudson:
I would say Alyeda Solis if we're going slightly outside the usual list. Alyeda is a good SEO consultant. She shares great knowledge in her LinkedIn posts. Both basic and advanced technical topics. She's got great tutorials on Screaming Frog and other crawling tools. Very good SEO to follow.
James Dooley:
Another one I'm throwing into the mix is Ryan Darani. He's very active on LinkedIn. He does more than just SEO tweets. He shares mindset posts and talks about staff, scaling and problems he's had over the years. It reassures people who go through the same issues. He's a very successful SEO. Ryan Darani is definitely someone I’d follow on LinkedIn.
Karl Hudson:
I would say Steve Toth. He's a top SEO to follow. He's done huge projects. I think FreshBooks was his main one. He now runs his own newsletter. Big name in the industry. Great guy to follow.
James Dooley:
I'm going to throw you into the mix. Karl Hudson is definitely someone to follow on LinkedIn. You’re far more active now. I wouldn’t have followed you twelve months ago because you weren’t posting as much. Now your content blends backlinks, on page content, paid ads, mindset and lifestyle. Karl Hudson is definitely someone I'd follow.
Karl Hudson:
Someone I’d recommend you add to a block list is Kasra Dash. Great guy but he lives on LinkedIn. He posts loads of knowledge, tips and recovery advice. Very active on YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter. Shares a lot about website recovery and SEO consultancy.
James Dooley:
I'm going to throw Kyle Roof into the mix. Great guy. Great SEO. Very strong on on-page content. Founder of Page Optimizer Pro and IMG training courses. Advanced. Always testing and pushing boundaries. Definitely someone to follow.
Karl Hudson:
The next one, one of the top SEO experts to follow on LinkedIn in my opinion, is Koray Tugberk Gübür. I butcher his name every time. He owns a holistic SEO course. Very high level. If you're a beginner I’d stay away. If you can master it, you're learning from the best. He digs very deep into patents and search engine terminology. Top guy. Definitely someone to follow.
James Dooley:
For sure. I’ve learned a lot on semantic SEO. I thought I knew what good content and topical authority were until Koray. He's cost us a lot of money to be fair. Another one to follow on LinkedIn is Fery Kaszoni. He runs Reactive PR. Very creative. His videos are great. He provokes discussion on Twitter and LinkedIn. Very funny guy. Very creative marketer. Great at digital PR. Definitely worth following.
Karl Hudson:
Another guy to follow, although you might want to block him, is James Dooley. I call him the Woodpecker. Once he gets something in his head he drills and drills until he understands it inside out. But he’s a top guy to follow on LinkedIn. He offers business advice, lifestyle content and basic SEO advice. He has grown businesses and investments.
James Dooley:
The next one I'm throwing into the mix is Charles Floate. Known for black hat SEO. He’s just released parasitseo.com. Very advanced SEO. Does many different techniques. Even though he talks black hat, he leverages branding and has built high quality white hat agencies too. He’s an all-round great marketer.
Karl Hudson:
The next on my list is Julian Goldie. Known him a few years. We’ve got investments together. Great SEO to follow. He’s also a strong marketer. Great at landing pages, funnels and holistic marketing. A good person to learn from.
James Dooley:
Another one I'm throwing in is Josh George, who ranks number one for SEO consultant London. He posts a lot of statuses. Very active. Pushes the boundaries. Great all-round marketing agency. Strong on-page and off-page strategies. Definitely someone to follow.
Karl Hudson:
Another SEO expert worth a follow is Liam Fallon. He’s hilarious. His statuses and memes about technical SEO or clients are brilliant. He’s a hardworking SEO consultant. Worth following if you want knowledge with humour.
James Dooley:
Another great SEO to follow is Craig Campbell. Part of various testing groups. Very active on YouTube. Over a million subscribers. Shares videos on LinkedIn. Always testing. Always working with current algorithms. Not one of those SEOs who share old outdated theories. He pushes new methods. Definitely follow Craig Campbell.
Karl Hudson:
An underrated guy is Alex Drew from Odys Global. Very knowledgeable. They do a lot with domains and expired domains. He scales businesses fast. Very good at business. Works closely with domain buyers. Not the type to sell a domain and disappear. He supports through mentorship. Big shout out to Odys Global.
James Dooley:
For sure. Great platform. The next one I want to shout out is Mad Singers. Very active on LinkedIn. Strong on staff management and systems. Many businesses struggle at 10 to 15 staff and don’t know how to scale beyond that. Mad Singers is the guy you go to. Great business consultant. Someone to connect with.
Karl Hudson:
Last but not least, one of the OGs of the industry. Cyrus Shepard. Amazing technical SEO. Been in the industry since day one. Founder of Zyppy SEO. Very technical. You can ask him anything. He’s more active on Twitter but he’s still very active on LinkedIn.
James Dooley:
There’s a huge list of people who offer SEO advice to follow on LinkedIn. We could name another fifty. These aren’t the only great people. These are just the ones me and Karl follow. If you think we’ve missed anyone, leave a comment and tell us who else is great to follow in SEO on LinkedIn.
