Good morning, Daily Peppers, and a very happy Tuesday to you. Now I don't know about you, but I am really good at all or nothing thinking. When I'm going through a busy period or when I'm feeling really exhausted, It's really easy for me to believe that it's always gonna be this way. And I end up in a kind of double pressure situation where I'm trying to deal with life in that moment as it is and I'm also future worrying about having to deal with it continually. Now there are times in our lives where we just have to push through and the light at the end of the tunnel feels a bit further away than we'd like. But there are other times where it's really helpful to consider what season of life you're in right now because chances are the busy season is not gonna last all year. The exhaustion will also not last forever, and it's about recognizing what season we're in right now. So that is the question I wanna pose for you today.
What kind of season are you in? Recognizing our seasons can make them so much easier to deal with, and it's also a really helpful way to be more flexible and adaptable to our own needs. Because if we can figure out what season of life we're in right now, we can figure out what we need in this season. We can figure out what is actually important and the things that we can pick up later. If it is a really busy chaotic season for you, it might be about putting yourself into maintenance mode and just doing the absolute necessary. And if it's a bit more of a fallow period, but you know you've got a busy period coming up, what can you do to really rejuvenate during the season and also make the next season easier for future you? Our seasons don't necessarily match up with the time of the year it is. But if you can identify which of the 4 seasons you're in, that can also be a helpful way of figuring out what you need right now and what kind of time it is for you if you're not really sure. And I want to leave you with a quote that I've shared quite a few times on here, but I never get sick of saying. And it's that whole thing about nothing in nature blooms all year round, so don't expect yourself to either. Have a good one, and I'll see you tomorrow.
