00:00:00 Dustin: Hippity hoppity. Happy Easter everyone, and happy first day of Passover.

00:00:05 Nate: So each matzo everyone.

00:00:07 Dustin: On this episode we have a theme park tickets on what you can do in the parks for Easter. Let's go. Hello everybody. Welcome to Park Goers Go, your go to podcast for all things theme park. And today's a holiday episode.

00:00:38 Logan: Holiday holiday. It's a real good time.

00:00:42 Nate: Chocolate hop.

00:00:43 Logan: Hop.

00:00:44 Dustin: Yes. And this holiday, as we all know, is gonna be Easter. The Easter holiday.

00:00:49 Logan: Bunnies.

00:00:50 Dustin: Rabbits for everybody.

00:00:52 Nate: Bunnies.

00:00:52 Dustin: But before we hop into that, haha. I'm one of your host Dustin.

00:00:56 Logan: I'm Logan

00:00:57 Nate: and I'm Nate.

00:00:59 Dustin: And we are park goers. Go! So in this episode, we are going to be doing one of our tickets.

00:01:16 Nate: Tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick. Ticking me off.

00:01:19 Dustin: Yeah. For for those who don't know, for those who don't know what our theme park tickets are, they are basically a checklist of things that you can do in the parks. Or if you've already done them, then you can make it a list of things you've already done in the parks. Make it a little healthy competition with your friends, family, and, uh, other theme park fans.

00:01:38 Nate: And whatever you do, it's gotta be a list.

00:01:40 Dustin: Yes. And it will be a list. And that's why it's called theme park tick. It's like, tick the box and it like the box, like.

00:01:48 Nate: List.

00:01:49 Dustin: It. So, uh, yeah, let's, uh, let's go ahead and hop right into it. I said it again. So these are things you can do in the park for Easter or Easter related things in theme parks this year. Are you guys excited? Logan. Nathaniel.

00:02:13 Nate: Money. I love bunnies.

00:02:15 Dustin: Okay. Is that is that a sign of excitement?

00:02:18 Nate: Yeah. Like eggs. Okay. I love fake grass and fake ears. Mickey ears, bunny ears. There we go.

00:02:26 Dustin: Do you love searching for stuff?

00:02:27 Nate: I love looking for eggs.

00:02:29 Dustin: Oh, then this is the list for you.

00:02:31 Nate: Just in random hidden places.

00:02:34 Dustin: All right, well, let's, uh, let's let's get right into it. All right. The first thing on our list is. Religious services.

00:02:44 Logan: Oh.

00:02:47 Dustin: I know, starting right out of the gate with a strong one.

00:02:50 Nate: Because we actually have a strong faith based group. Yeah. This is a Christian Disney podcast. No.

00:02:59 Dustin: Well, I mean, looking past, you know, the eggs and the rabbit, I guess at the core of it, there is something more to it. I wrote this down because a lot of these places actually, you know, surprisingly offer a variety of different things. But a lot of these places do offer the services, specifically sunrise services. So we're talking SeaWorld, Disney Resorts, Dollywood, uh, Knott's Berry Farm, and then also universal, uh, universal resorts as well. What I would say is I would recommend checking with the websites of these places or, you know, if you're staying at the resort, call up the concierge and see, uh, see if they have something.

00:03:38 Nate: What do they do?

00:03:39 Dustin: Um, a lot of them are at the resorts. SeaWorld actually does it in one of their stadiums. Uh, but Disney, Universal and Dollywood do it at the resorts. So yeah. And once again, the only reason I put it on there is because when I was looking at different places like Dollywood, it's like, that's the only thing Dollywood does for Easter that they promote. So I was like, yeah, you know, might as well put it on there. So yeah. So that's the first thing. Have we ever done that?

00:04:06 Nate: No, I have not.

00:04:09 Dustin: I think I think that's a no all around. Yeah. And if you have check that.

00:04:17 Nate: Box you have that option. Now when are they gonna have a Shabbat service? Every Friday, am I right?

00:04:23 Dustin: Well, funny enough, I did.

00:04:25 Nate: See.

00:04:26 Dustin: I, well, I did see, um, Sesame Place leave it up to Sesame Street for, you know, keeping it real. They do celebrate. Uh, they do have a Passover celebration.

00:04:34 Nate: Love, love that I know.

00:04:36 Dustin: So they, they have a, they're a little bit more involved when it comes to the spectrum of religion. But, you know, like I said, for Easter, you could do those in the parks. The next thing we're going to move on to is that we are going to make our way to Magic Kingdom. Well, I guess we can hop. Let's just hop everywhere because normally we jump to different places. So let's hop to Magic Kingdom. Whoa!

00:04:58 Speaker 4: To remember the magic.

00:05:00 Dustin: And we are going to be going to. The Easter parade.

00:05:07 Nate: Yay! Parade. Parade. Parade. Parade. Now. Cheer. Cheer.

00:05:13 Dustin: Historically, there is an Easter parade at Magic Kingdom. I do believe at some point in the past, I think in the nineties, they actually filmed it and it was a lot bigger and more of an event, kind of like the Christmas event.

00:05:26 Nate: And it was a lot.

00:05:27 Dustin: Yeah. Well, now, now what it is, is it's very short. It's only two floats, and one of them is a gazebo of Mr. and Miss Bunny, um, who represent Easter in Disney.

00:05:40 Nate: This happens on Easter.

00:05:42 Dustin: Yes. And I believe it only happens on Easter. So.

00:05:45 Nate: Uh, I guess. Oh. Is it.

00:05:47 Dustin: Yes.

00:05:48 Nate: Okay.

00:05:49 Dustin: No, it's just like a small thing. I'm gonna be honest with you. With pretty much everything. Except for maybe two things. It was almost impossible to find information about this stuff because they don't really promote. None of these parks really promote a lot of this stuff. It's kind of just like, oh, it's just happening.

00:06:05 Nate: It's like a if they do it, they do it, they, they add these floats to one of the parades or it's its own, its own.

00:06:14 Dustin: Its, its its own thing. It's its own thing.

00:06:16 Nate: Oh, okay. I feel like it would be easier to add.

00:06:19 Dustin: Well, when it comes to Disney in particular, they have that um question thing online where people, normal people can ask questions and they kind of make it into like a little blog. And every year people will ask, when is this happening? And then they'll be like, keep an eye out on social media for it. And then you go dig in on social media and you're like, there's not really much on there. But anyways, so there's the Easter parade. Yay! Have we seen this?

00:06:43 Nate: No. I feel like you can't even really call this a parade. It smells like a it's like an Easter drive by.

00:06:51 Dustin: An Easter passing? Yeah, I don't know. It's. I've never seen it. So we can mark that off.

00:06:58 Nate: It would be cute. Is it. Did it said Mickey's there too on there or. No, just the bunnies.

00:07:02 Dustin: Nope, nope. Just the bunnies. Well, one of the floats is that, uh, it looks like a barn, and then it has a chicken on it. Um, I don't know her name. Um, so have you guys seen this?

00:07:13 Nate: No.

00:07:14 Dustin: So that's a no no, no all around.

00:07:16 Nate: It would be cool too, though. So maybe we could go, uh, this Easter. You think it's busy, or do you think? I guess we'll find out.

00:07:23 Dustin: Are you guys blocked out?

00:07:23 Nate: No. We're not.

00:07:24 Dustin: Oh, nice.

00:07:25 Nate: What does everyone do for Easter? Yeah. What do you guys usually just. You wake up, you find. Sometimes it's hidden, sometimes it's not. Usually not. You get your basket. It has candy in it. You eat it.

00:07:36 Dustin: You eat the basket together.

00:07:37 Nate: You have dinner, you do an egg hunt, and then you eat the candy for the rest of the day and that's it. It's like Halloween with extra stuff, you know, with less steps.

00:07:46 Dustin: And then you eat the eggs. You have to eat the eggs raw too.

00:07:50 Nate: Yeah. There are. Oh, yeah. You do a dying anyway.

00:07:53 Dustin: All right, so that was number two. None of us so far were zero for two.

00:07:58 Nate: Yeah. Passover happens at the same time.

00:08:00 Dustin: Does.

00:08:00 Nate: It? This year it does. So this could have been Passover episode. Why didn't you tell him that before he made the list? I'm just pointing it out. You always point it out late anyways.

00:08:08 Dustin: So number three, we're going to stay in Magic Kingdom and we are going to meet. Mr. and Miss Bunny.

00:08:18 Nate: Cute doesn't Miss.

00:08:19 Dustin: Bunny. Yeah, she looks similar to Mr. Bunny. Um, but a lady. And, uh. Yeah, no, typically, you can meet them in the Liberty Square gazebo, but, uh, have we met them?

00:08:33 Nate: I don't know if I've ever met their cute. I don't know if I've ever met the bunnies. I've met Santa.

00:08:39 Dustin: Okay, good for you. We're so happy for you.

00:08:43 Nate: Why did you meet Santa? My mom. My mom's work has a holiday party every year, so I've met Santa many times.

00:08:50 Dustin: All right. So yeah, I've seen Mr. and Miss Bunny, but I've never met.

00:08:53 Nate: They do look familiar.

00:08:55 Dustin: Yeah. So this is a no for me. No all around. No no no no no no no. This list is going swimmingly.

00:09:02 Nate: I might be this year. Might make it a yes.

00:09:05 Dustin: Or maybe.

00:09:06 Nate: I'm just kidding. We'll see them, but we're not gonna meet them.

00:09:08 Dustin: Well, you guys will have to bring this, uh, ticket into the park and just just start to check things off. All right? So now we're we're staying in the area, but we're gonna hop on that monorail and go from the contemporary to the poly to the poly, right, to the Grand Floridian, where they have Easter eggs at the Grand Cottage kiosk.

00:09:31 Nate: Oh, I actually wanted to see this one, so I think we should make it a point to go to. Oh, we have seen this on Instagram and stuff. We've seen it on the Insta Instagrams.

00:09:41 Dustin: Well, let's, let's describe what it is. Basically what it is is that.

00:09:45 Nate: Cryptically talk about it.

00:09:47 Dustin: Well, some culinary Teams actually make. I believe they're like cakes. I thought they were better in the shape.

00:09:53 Nate: I thought they were.

00:09:54 Dustin: Or they might be chocolate eggs. Okay, then they might.

00:09:57 Nate: Be implying.

00:09:58 Dustin: I don't.

00:09:58 Nate: Know. They were you.

00:09:59 Dustin: Know, they say culinary teams, they use the term whip up and they also use fondant. So what'd I say?

00:10:06 Nate: It sounds like you're saying culinary. Yeah, it did kind of culinary. You're talking about like colon experts colon like colon because the first time you said it, I was like, why does that sound weird? This is an important reminder to get your colonoscopies. Yeah. Happy Easter.

00:10:25 Dustin: But yeah, no, they make these very specific, uh, um, eggs that are themed to different Disney, uh, things like, I know I saw one that was Mount Everest, which was really cool. I think that happened last year. Um, but you can also buy specialty foods there too. Um, like I know there was a little cupcake or it looked like a cupcake that was specifically for Easter or the holiday. So that's.

00:10:47 Nate: I think it's like a dirt. It's like a it's one of those dirt cups.

00:10:51 Dustin: I mean, that sounds about right.

00:10:52 Nate: Um, is that a cake pop? Yeah, it looks like we're looking. Dustin. We're looking at a cake pop over here. We have a bunny pop bunny pop flower.

00:11:01 Dustin: Are you looking at them okay?

00:11:02 Nate: Yeah we are. Um, the fruity cereal. Mickey pop that one. Actually, I do like that. Oh, it's bunny burrow. Dirt dirty pop. Oh, it's plant based. I don't like dirt cups.

00:11:13 Dustin: But anyways, that should that should be at the Grand Floridian this year. Um, it did also say Disney resorts and a lot of the research I showed. So maybe they're at other ones, but definitely check out the Grand Floridian.

00:11:26 Nate: All the pictures definitely look like the Grand Floridian.

00:11:29 Dustin: Well, the two links I had were specifically Grand Floridian, but a lot of the other stuff would say, oh, the resorts plural. So have we done this?

00:11:39 Nate: Unfortunately not, but we probably will now.

00:11:42 Dustin: It's a no from me too. I've done the gingerbread one a couple of times, but I've never done the the Easter one.

00:11:48 Nate: This list is very inspirational.

00:11:50 Dustin: Yeah. Uh, Nathaniel, have you done it?

00:11:52 Nate: No, no I haven't. I've only been to the Grand Floridian once. Nothing was going on.

00:11:57 Dustin: Okay. So, um, let's actually let me switch things up a bit.

00:12:03 Nate: Let's change this list for things we have done.

00:12:07 Dustin: Well, actually, this right around this corner, maybe number five, we are going to either take the monorail or hop over to Epcot.

00:12:15 Nate: I'll hop fast.

00:12:17 Speaker 5: This is Epcot Center.

00:12:19 Dustin: Where we do the. Eggstravaganza egg hunt. Yay!

00:12:28 Nate: I didn't know about this. What is it?

00:12:31 Dustin: Tell us. So this one's actually really fun. Um. Although the themes change yearly, it generally revolves around the idea that you purchase a map. Um, of the.

00:12:42 Nate: You lost me.

00:12:43 Dustin: I guess you purchased. No, no, listen, listen. It pays off. You purchase like this little map or chart that has different, uh, eggs on it, typically like twelve of them. And you got to go throughout the park and try and find these hidden eggs of different characters. And then you take the sticker of the character, I think it is that they also give you and you put it in the area that they were. Um, after you're done, you take it up to wherever they tell you to take it up to, and then you get a little prize.

00:13:10 Nate: Oh, I've seen this. We haven't done it, but we've seen.

00:13:13 Dustin: I thought.

00:13:13 Nate: You did. You guys do something similar. We didn't do that.

00:13:16 Dustin: You guys during Christmas.

00:13:18 Nate: Oh, okay. So okay. Well I will say they do have this I think at every festival in some capacity. But we did do one of these at Disney Springs for free, um, for Christmas, but I don't know what the prize was. I, we didn't do it, but they had, we took the, the pamphlet and they had coupons on it too, which was cool.

00:13:42 Dustin: So I have done this one, so check for me. it's a lot of fun. Essentially, you don't really have to. You're just paying for the prize at the end. Once you pay for it, then you just stick the stickers on you, bring it back, and then, uh. Yay! Uh, you get the prize. But it is really cute because a lot of them, if not all of them, are in the world showcase. And when I say little, I mean they're actually huge. They're way bigger than your normal ones, but from far away, they're pretty big.

00:14:08 Nate: It's an ostrich egg.

00:14:10 Dustin: I mean, it's about that size. Yeah. I remember seeing this for the first time and not knowing what it was, and thought it was just a cute little design, like a.

00:14:17 Speaker 6: What is that?

00:14:18 Dustin: No, I thought it was just some decoration. Oh, God. But no, it's a it's a fun one. It's a, it's a fun interactive thing. And you don't have to buy the map in order to spot them. You can just spot them. Wait, wait.

00:14:29 Nate: You mean I can see things that are physically placed in the environment without having to buy a map first?

00:14:35 Dustin: Yeah.

00:14:36 Nate: That's crazy.

00:14:37 Dustin: Believe it or not, we call that Disney magic.

00:14:40 Nate: And it just it doesn't just materialize once you buy the Mac.

00:14:44 Dustin: So I've done this. You guys have not done specifically the the.

00:14:48 Nate: No, because we're not children.

00:14:52 Dustin: But this year you guys did walk into Epcot and saw some of the eggs, correct?

00:14:57 Nate: Yes. Excellent.

00:15:00 Dustin: All right. And right after we recorded this episode, Disney decided to release, uh, what they were going to do for the eggs. And this is what you guys saw. And so now we're gonna play a little game. Ooh! Ah! Wow. The game is. Guess what the eggs are. There's gonna be twelve of them. And all of them are Disney bunnies. Ooh!

00:15:29 Nate: Ooh! Ah!

00:15:30 Dustin: And you guys already saw a couple of them. And so why don't you guys go ahead and list off which ones you've seen?

00:15:36 Nate: These are the ones at Epcot. Yeah. The ones. Correct. Yeah. I do not remember the ones that I, um. We saw Oswald.

00:15:43 Dustin: And remember, they're all Disney bunnies. Okay, so we got Oswald. That's one.

00:15:48 Nate: Who's Oswald?

00:15:50 Dustin: The lucky rabbit, the precursor to Mickey Mouse. Black and white.

00:15:54 Nate: Oh, yes, we did, we did, we did, we did. I want to say we saw the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, but I would say that as well. I think we're just thinking of rabbits now.

00:16:05 Dustin: So the white rabbit?

00:16:06 Nate: Yeah, maybe.

00:16:07 Dustin: Okay, so we got white rabbit eye.

00:16:09 Nate: Yeah. Did you say rabbit from Winnie the Pooh? Did we see him? No, I don't know. That's just a guess. Oh, okay. Well, let's add him to the guessing list.

00:16:18 Dustin: So you said Oswald white rabbit and rabbit from Winnie the Pooh. All three of those are on it.

00:16:26 Nate: Those. We got three for three?

00:16:28 Dustin: Yep. You got three. Well, three for, uh, I guess guesses.

00:16:32 Nate: I'm not gonna lie. I never knew that he was a rabbit.

00:16:35 Dustin: Oswald.

00:16:36 Nate: Yeah, I only ever knew just his name.

00:16:38 Dustin: Okay. The long ears didn't give it away.

00:16:40 Nate: What do you mean? Pluto has long ears. That's true. Oh, sorry. He's a rabbit.

00:16:44 Dustin: Stick him right up like a rabbit.

00:16:46 Nate: We literally had two rabbits growing up, and they did not have ears. That stuck straight.

00:16:50 Dustin: Up. Well, they did when they heard stuff, but I guess Pluto does that too. But so. All right. So.

00:16:55 Nate: Oh, I know another one.

00:16:56 Dustin: Right now you got three. Oh what is it.

00:16:58 Nate: Thump thump thump thump from Thumper. From Bambi. Bambi. Oh is it. What is it? There's a kangaroo in Winnie the Pooh. Right.

00:17:08 Dustin: There is Kanga and Roo.

00:17:11 Nate: Why was she.

00:17:11 Dustin: There?

00:17:12 Nate: Isn't this take place in England? What are you talking about?

00:17:15 Dustin: Why was she there?

00:17:16 Nate: I don't know, Winnie the Pooh. You're talking about Winnie the Pooh? Yeah, because they're their toys. Oh, the toys. Right, right.

00:17:24 Dustin: Yeah. They're Christopher Robin's toys.

00:17:25 Nate: Right, right right right right right right. He's English. Wait, I don't understand. Hold on. Kangaroos in England.

00:17:32 Dustin: So we have twelve. You guys listed. Four. Okay, so when it comes to the animated films, hand-drawn animated films, you have one, two, three, four, five, six. Six of them.

00:17:47 Nate: Hops. Hops. Oh! Judy. Hops. Yeah.

00:17:51 Dustin: She's okay. Judy Hopps is gonna be a computer generated, but she is on the list, so.

00:17:56 Nate: Haha.

00:17:57 Dustin: So, Judy.

00:17:58 Nate: High five.

00:17:59 Dustin: Huh?

00:17:59 Nate: Very good. How about the rabbit from Bambi? That's what Thumper is. Oh! Oh my God. I thought we were talking about Winnie the Pooh. No.

00:18:08 Dustin: I don't know. I think he might be on to something.

00:18:11 Nate: Logan, is there another rabbit in Bambi?

00:18:14 Dustin: Maybe.

00:18:15 Nate: Oh, wait. I think there is. They put two. Who's the one that blushes?

00:18:19 Dustin: That's Thumper. But why does he blush?

00:18:22 Nate: Because he's. Because he's bashful.

00:18:24 Dustin: Yes.

00:18:25 Nate: I thought there was a skunk. I thought he was blushing because of a skunk.

00:18:28 Dustin: Oh, maybe the skunk also blushes. The skunks flower. Bambi is a coming of age story where these.

00:18:34 Nate: It's also an end of age story, if you know what I mean. Animal, please.

00:18:37 Dustin: For for. For certain mothers. Yeah. Um, but certain animals, uh, you know, are growing up and then they die, start to fall in love.

00:18:50 Nate: So her name's love.

00:18:53 Dustin: No, it's. He Thumper fell in love with another rabbit, which I know, which according to the the egg search is called Miss Bunny. So we're gonna put Miss Bunny.

00:19:05 Nate: Her name is Miss Bunny.

00:19:07 Dustin: That's what it says on the thing.

00:19:08 Nate: Oh, what about Jessica? Why was your. What. Why did your hint lead us to love? As if that was gonna help us with Miss Bunny. Because that was the character?

00:19:17 Dustin: No, because you you asked. Uh oh.

00:19:20 Nate: There's another.

00:19:21 Dustin: Rabbit.

00:19:22 Nate: Leading us to the name.

00:19:23 Dustin: Oh, maybe it's his mom. Hold on. It might. It might be his mom. Never mind. Miss Bunny.

00:19:30 Nate: Loves her. How about Jessica?

00:19:32 Dustin: Jessica rabbit?

00:19:33 Nate: Yeah, well, she. Does she make an appearance? That would be funny.

00:19:36 Dustin: Like a rabbit would not be. That would make sense and be it. But I'm gonna guess because of the new development when it comes to the copyright.

00:19:47 Nate: What about what about Roger? I forgot he was.

00:19:49 Dustin: No, because of what I just said. Disney no longer holds the copyright to the whole of Roger rabbit. I mean, I don't know anything about copyright law, but I would imagine that the likeness of Roger rabbit in the films Disney would still own. But you know, who am I to say? But no, Roger and Jessica Rabbit are not on the list. All right, so right now we have half of them. We have one, two, three, four, five, six, six of the rabbits. Let's see. You are missing two. And hand-drawn animated rabbits. Three Pixar rabbits. And then you're missing one puppet rabbit and one.

00:20:26 Nate: What?

00:20:27 Dustin: Puppet. Puppet rabbit.

00:20:29 Nate: Puppet rabbit. Oh, a muppet. A muppet rabbit.

00:20:32 Speaker 7: Maybe I don't, maybe.

00:20:34 Nate: I don't know. Um. What's the bunny? What's the bunny's name from? Um, pets.

00:20:40 Dustin: Secret life of pets.

00:20:41 Speaker 7: Yeah.

00:20:43 Dustin: The not Pixar film.

00:20:44 Nate: That's universal. Right? That's. I'm just thinking of bunnies.

00:20:48 Dustin: I think his name's Snowflake or Snowball.

00:20:50 Nate: Um. Okay. Bunnies. There's gotta be one in Snow White. I was gonna say, is there a Snow White bunny? But I think that's just the default bunny.

00:20:58 Dustin: There is a bunny that is in a film that you've already named another bunny for. So there were two bunnies in this film, and you named one of them.

00:21:08 Nate: I'm assuming Hobbs and Raja.

00:21:11 Speaker 7: Oh, you.

00:21:11 Dustin: Want me to list off the bunnies you named because I can.

00:21:15 Speaker 7: No.

00:21:17 Nate: There's another bunny in the film. Okay, let's not the ones we've said.

00:21:22 Dustin: That's why I just asked. Okay, I'm gonna do it. All right. There's Oswald, white rabbit. Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh Thumper, Miss Bunny, Judy Hobbs.

00:21:32 Nate: I don't think there's any more in the Pooh. I don't think there's anyone in Bambi.

00:21:36 Speaker 7: I know.

00:21:38 Dustin: Yeah, I think two is the most.

00:21:40 Nate: I think there's another bunny. Worth making an egg for in Zootopia.

00:21:44 Speaker 7: It must be one of the mom or the dad.

00:21:47 Nate: Yeah, but why would they do that?

00:21:49 Speaker 7: They don't, I don't know.

00:21:50 Dustin: So that leaves you guys with Oswald in the White Rabbit.

00:21:53 Speaker 7: Yeah, but I don't know what. Oswald.

00:21:56 Dustin: Okay, so that leaves you with the white rabbit.

00:21:58 Speaker 7: Yeah, but I don't know any other ones.

00:22:00 Nate: And I could have sworn there was only one.

00:22:02 Dustin: I give you a hint.

00:22:03 Logan: Are very merry, Unbirthday to me. To you. A very merry rabbit.

00:22:10 Dustin: Yeah. The March hare.

00:22:12 Nate: Oh.

00:22:13 Speaker 7: I don't know the March Hare.

00:22:15 Nate: The Mad Hatter always overshadow them.

00:22:17 Dustin: So we have the March Hare. And, uh. So now you guys have one hand-drawn animated, uh, Bunny left. Three Pixar bunnies and one puppet bunny.

00:22:29 Nate: Okay, Pixar bunnies. Let's think of Pixar bunnies. Is it?

00:22:32 Dustin: I think you went for the three. You could have easily knocked out the one.

00:22:36 Nate: Because.

00:22:36 Dustin: one of the.

00:22:37 Nate: Other thought about Pixar. What about Toy Story? That was definitely a bunny at some point. Like a bunny is a toy bunny.

00:22:43 Dustin: Yes.

00:22:44 Nate: Okay, well, I'm not gonna know his name.

00:22:45 Dustin: Wait, what'd you say?

00:22:47 Nate: Is there a toy bunny in Toy Story?

00:22:50 Dustin: Oh, you got it. His name's Bunny. Bunny and Ducky.

00:22:53 Nate: There you go.

00:22:55 Dustin: Who's Ducky? Yeah, Bunny.

00:22:56 Nate: And you remember.

00:22:58 Dustin: Those toys in Toy Story four that were connected?

00:23:01 Nate: I didn't really.

00:23:03 Dustin: I'm sorry. You don't think Miss Bunny's a subcharacter? At least with Bunny and Ducky. We know. So Bunny and Ducky is going to be the Pixar, um, or one of the Pixar ones. But the two other Pixar ones come from Pixar shorts. So we have two Pixar shorts, one hand-drawn animated Disney film, and then a puppet.

00:23:26 Speaker 7: Oh, the burrow.

00:23:28 Nate: Yeah, that's my favorite.

00:23:32 Speaker 7: Who burrow. bunny.

00:23:34 Nate: The one with the heat?

00:23:35 Speaker 7: Oh, no, they're not gonna have him.

00:23:37 Dustin: That's that's a Pixar. That's one of the spark short. I think it was a spark short, not a Pixar short.

00:23:43 Speaker 7: You lied.

00:23:43 Dustin: Yeah.

00:23:44 Speaker 7: When you. So you lied when you said short.

00:23:46 Dustin: I said Pixar short.

00:23:47 Speaker 7: That was a Pixar.

00:23:48 Nate: What's a Pixar short?

00:23:49 Dustin: I thought it was a spark short.

00:23:51 Speaker 7: Yeah. That's still Pixar.

00:23:52 Nate: What does that mean?

00:23:53 Dustin: So it's one of the shorts that came before a film when it was released. Um, one of them has a very specific occupation. The other one is a mythical creature.

00:24:03 Speaker 7: Oh, it's the magician one.

00:24:05 Dustin: Ah, yeah. Do you remember the know the name Presto. The character Presto was the was the short. And I give it to you. Uh, the character's name is Alec Kazam. Now, Alec Azam. Yeah, it's Alec Azam. The other Pixar short is a mythical creature that is often a rabbit combined with something else.

00:24:27 Nate: I mean.

00:24:28 Speaker 7: A mythical creature with a rabbit combined with something else.

00:24:32 Dustin: I'm surprised you guys didn't get the puppet yet.

00:24:33 Nate: Often I don't know the I don't know the puppet. I don't know the Muppets.

00:24:38 Dustin: Um, have you guys remember Muppetvision 3D? He played a huge part in it. In fact, I think he was the catalyst of the film.

00:24:47 Speaker 7: Is he blue or like purple?

00:24:49 Nate: I couldn't tell you the part of Muppetvision 3D.

00:24:52 Speaker 7: He's the purple, isn't he? Like purple or something?

00:24:55 Nate: I'm sorry to the Muppets.

00:24:57 Dustin: I don't think he's purple. He's brown. He might wear like an outfit that is.

00:25:01 Speaker 7: Um, I don't know his name.

00:25:03 Dustin: All right, so in Muppetvision 3D, he was the one who said, I just want to help. And then they're like, no, go away. And then he runs away. Yeah. That's when Sweetums comes out looking for his character.

00:25:14 Nate: Oh, the CGI one. Like he like, nope.

00:25:18 Speaker 7: No that's not.

00:25:19 Dustin: He teams up with Waldo, the CGI.

00:25:21 Speaker 7: That's at the end.

00:25:22 Dustin: Thing.

00:25:23 Speaker 7: I don't know his name.

00:25:24 Dustin: But his name is Bean Bunny. That's what we're looking for. All right, so now we got the Muppet out of the way. Now you have one hand-drawn animated character, very minor character, and then also a Pixar short that, uh, involves a mythical creature that is a rabbit mixed with something else.

00:25:45 Nate: I don't know any mythical creatures with rabbits.

00:25:49 Logan: Okay.

00:25:50 Nate: Can you.

00:25:50 Logan: Give us, like.

00:25:51 Nate: Thor? Like, is it Chinese? Is it?

00:25:54 Dustin: No, I'm pretty sure it's Midwestern, but the, uh.

00:25:57 Speaker 7: I will tell you, it's a jackal.

00:25:59 Nate: Why? What is that?

00:26:01 Dustin: Oh. Oh, you're so close. You're so close. I'll give it to you, though. It's a it's a jackalope.

00:26:08 Speaker 7: Uh.

00:26:09 Dustin: On the Pixar. Short bound. Bound, bound, bound and rebound. So you guys got all of them? Except for one. Uh, one of them's a very minor character. In what? It's it's, uh, an animated Disney film that involves all animals that were that are talking Noah's Ark. Nope. Now, these animals are. I believe the term is anthropomorphic. Which means, yeah, they talk and they're also human like. So this movie animals aren't really animals. Like if you look at The Jungle Book, you have humans and animals. It's more like.

00:26:45 Logan: Zootopia.

00:26:46 Dustin: Yeah. Yeah, exactly.

00:26:47 Logan: Yeah.

00:26:47 Dustin: So they're kind of doing that.

00:26:48 Speaker 7: So he's like bugs kind of.

00:26:50 Dustin: Yeah, except for this one's a kid and looks up to the main character.

00:26:56 Nate: Oh, is it the Fox and the hound?

00:27:00 Dustin: No, the fox and the hound has people in it. These characters wear clothes.

00:27:05 Speaker 7: Oh, is it fantastic, Fox?

00:27:09 Dustin: Nope, that's not Disney. Actually, it might be Disney. Now, I don't know if that was a twentieth Century.

00:27:15 Speaker 7: Fox, I win.

00:27:16 Dustin: Yeah, it's not that. No. Also we're talking about rabbits.

00:27:20 Nate: They will close.

00:27:21 Dustin: But you're on the right track with Fox.

00:27:23 Nate: And this is old. Can we get it already? Said Fox in the house. Can we get a time period?

00:27:28 Dustin: Think of other Disney foxes that wear clothes and talk about foxes.

00:27:34 Nate: Um oh, who's the guy who rattles, who rattles the can with the. Pretends to be homeless? He's a hero. Oh, that's the part you remember, is he? I know, I know exactly. I just know from the Peter Pan or it's not a Peter Pan. It's a from the gif. I know from the gif.

00:27:53 Dustin: Yeah I know. Yeah. No, he's rattling the he's getting coins from the rich and giving it to the poor.

00:27:58 Nate: Yeah. What is that guy's name? It's um Peter Pan. It's not Peter Pan. That's all I can think of right now. I was about to say Green Arrow.

00:28:05 Dustin: I rescue pretty damsels, man. I'm good, Mr. Hood. Break it down.

00:28:10 Nate: Robin hood, it's Robin Hood.

00:28:12 Dustin: Yes.

00:28:12 Nate: I've never seen that film, though I barely remember.

00:28:15 Dustin: Yeah. There are these little kids that follow him around, and one of them is a bunny named Skippy. And he. I think he has a broken leg actually in the in the film.

00:28:25 Nate: Guess he's not doing much skipping.

00:28:26 Dustin: No, Oh, no, not not with that broken leg. But just to go over them again. We got Oswald the lucky Rabbit, Thumper, Bunny, white rabbit, March Hare, Skippy rabbit from Winnie the Pooh, bean Bunny, Alec Kazam jackalope, Judy Hopps, Ducky and Bunny.

00:29:00 Nate: It's crazy how many of them are either rabbit like are the name of the species.

00:29:05 Dustin: Well, I think.

00:29:06 Nate: They just gave up with the rabbit.

00:29:08 Dustin: The only ones that don't have it is Thumper, Skippy, and Alakazam.

00:29:13 Nate: Judy.

00:29:14 Dustin: Well, Judy Hopps I Hopps is what bunnies do. But yeah, you're right. So the prize that they're giving out this year is a, it looks like a little wooden, um, arts and craft where you can paint them. So it comes with the paints as well, and it comes with a little kit. And I guess the characters that you can paint are, uh, Mickey, Minnie, White rabbit, Thumper, Chip or Dale. Yeah, you pick one, I guess, or they give you whatever's left. And also, Dale is the, uh, rescue Rangers. Dale. So he has a little Hawaiian shirt, which is cute, but yeah, they're in the shape of an egg, so that's very cute. I like that. So that is the first check on this list and we're already halfway through it. Yay! So for this next one, let's make our way to Pennsylvania and hop into Hersheypark.

00:30:03 Speaker 6: Hersheypark.

00:30:05 Nate: Oh, the old stomping ground.

00:30:08 Dustin: Where you can meet. The Reister bunny. Yay!

00:30:16 Nate: This is the best place to get your chocolate for Easter celebration. That's true, that's true. Unless we're talking about Cadbury. Oh, I love me a Cadbury egg.

00:30:27 Dustin: Sounds like a pirate a little bit.

00:30:29 Nate: We have a big bag of those mini Cadbury eggs that you just. Oh, God. Anyway, you gotta move on.

00:30:36 Dustin: To the next one.

00:30:37 Nate: No, talk about this one. Okay. Talk about the Easter bunny.

00:30:40 Dustin: Okay. Um, so according to the website, it says our lovable bunny is returning to town, inspired by the beloved Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. Come visit and grab photos with your friends, family, and the world's largest Hershey's store.

00:30:56 Nate: Reese's Peanut butter cup, peanut butter.

00:31:00 Dustin: Cups, peanut butter cup. You believe it or not, this is the only one on this list that is free because you don't even need a ticket to attend. This one is.

00:31:12 Nate: About every time I talk about Hershey Park, you gotta mention, um, you gotta mention.

00:31:18 Dustin: The free the free stuff that is involved.

00:31:21 Nate: I'm pretty sure the sunrise service is free.

00:31:25 Dustin: That's true. The sunrise service is probably free as well.

00:31:29 Nate: And I'm pretty sure the Easter eggs at Grand Floridian is also free.

00:31:32 Dustin: Okay, fine. You got me.

00:31:35 Nate: And there's probably more on this list that are gonna be.

00:31:39 Dustin: Well, this is one of them. And I believe it's at the Hershey's Chocolate World, which is outside Hershey Park. And yeah, I know you basically just go up and you, uh, meet the Easter Bunny.

00:31:50 Nate: What does he look like? Does he look? Oh. It's cute. He's chocolate. He's cute.

00:31:54 Dustin: Yeah.

00:31:55 Nate: What do you talk to him about?

00:31:56 Dustin: You don't talk to him at all. He's a fur character.

00:31:58 Nate: Oh, yeah, but, you know, you can still talk to characters. I mean, you don't talk to the Easter Bunny. You're gonna be like this. I'm sorry.

00:32:05 Dustin: This is a sign that this is a person who has never met the Easter Bunny. What do you say to him? Do you ask him what he what?

00:32:12 Nate: To be fair, he asked that question. No matter what the character is that we're meeting. That's also why we don't meet characters, because we don't know what to say to them, especially if they can't talk.

00:32:22 Dustin: Oh my gosh, you had too much pressure to yourself. You don't say anything. But anyways, uh, my wife and I were gonna go see the Easter Bunny last year, but we decided not to last minute this year. We will. You fool. A lot of fun, I know, but, uh. So that's a no for me.

00:32:37 Nate: You could have. It could have been a check.

00:32:39 Dustin: I'm guessing that's a no for you guys.

00:32:42 Nate: Oh.

00:32:42 Dustin: So. No no no no.

00:32:44 Nate: No no no no no no no no no no.

00:32:47 Dustin: Nate you've never been to Hershey Park have you.

00:32:49 Nate: I have actually I famously have been to Hershey Park but I've never went inside. I actually been around the whole town canvassing for the Penn State Thorne Charity. This isn't the Nathaniel show. Let's calm down, Logan.

00:33:02 Dustin: Did you know about this?

00:33:03 Nate: That he hasn't been, but has lived in the area? Yeah, he went to Penn State, so, yes.

00:33:10 Dustin: I don't know how close Penn State is to there.

00:33:12 Nate: It's like an hour away. And we literally like, yeah, we were like all over Hoshi trying to get money.

00:33:17 Dustin: All right. So I haven't been Logan hasn't been and Nate hasn't been okay. So now we're gonna make our way downtown.

00:33:27 Nate: Walking fast faces.

00:33:30 Dustin: Actually kind of. Yeah. Downtown, where we're gonna be going to Philadelphia.

00:33:34 Nate: Oh, the old stomping grounds.

00:33:38 Dustin: With Elmo's Eggstravaganza at Sesame Place. Yay, yay! So it says, join us for a hoppin good time at Elmo's Eggstravaganza Easter celebration. Visit Sesame Place Philadelphia for exciting rides, entertaining shows, and a Sesame Street party parade and special Easter fun for everyone's favorite or with everyone's favorite furry friend, everyone's favorite. It's just for them. Yeah. So in the past, this has also been included in the Busch Gardens, both Tampa and Williamsburg, but it doesn't. They haven't announced anything this year. So Sesame place it is. So, have we done Elmo's Eggs? Stravaganza?

00:34:26 Nate: Don't think so. No.

00:34:29 Dustin: I think I've seen it, but I've never participated. So that's a no for me. The only time I've ever been to Sesame Place in Philadelphia was during Christmas time.

00:34:37 Nate: So never been.

00:34:38 Dustin: No for me. No for, you know, for you knows all around. I think this might be our least successful list so far.

00:34:46 Nate: Good soup dumplings in Philadelphia, let me tell you that.

00:34:49 Dustin: Okay. Good to know. Um.

00:34:51 Nate: It's a big soup dumpling guy over here.

00:34:53 Dustin: So for this next one, we're gonna stay in, uh, Pennsylvania. Except for now, we're gonna make our way to Lancaster. So we did Hershey.

00:35:01 Speaker 9: Hershey Park.

00:35:03 Dustin: Philadelphia, and now Lancaster with Dutch Wonderland. Where we can experience the egg Cellent celebration at Dutch Wonderland. Yay!

00:35:21 Nate: Is there any relation to the Dutch for Dutch Wonderland specifically? Not in general. Does anybody have any relation to Dutch like. Like the like the Netherlands? Or is it more Amish? Oh, the Amish. Dutch.

00:35:36 Dustin: I believe that certain realms of the Amish are grounded in Dutch culture. I don't know.

00:35:44 Nate: Amish listeners, please reach out. Amish listeners, if they're listening to us, they're not very Amish.

00:35:51 Dustin: But anyways, so with Dutch Wonderland's a silent, uh, celebration, hop on in with the family and see the park spring into bloom. Some of the things that they include are see the park bloom into spring. Get photos with tuft, the Easter Bunny. Royal egg hunt is a thing. Story time corner, which I'm sure has something to do with Easter. Whirligig Lane, which I don't know what that is, but they have that. And then also dine with tuft, their Easter Bunny. So that's fun. Um, they also have exclusive Easter and spring themed, uh, foods. So very fun. Yay! Now, uh, Nathaniel, have you been to Dutch Wonderland?

00:36:34 Nate: I haven't been to Dutch Wonderland.

00:36:36 Dustin: But I thought this was your old stomping ground. I thought this was a dumping ground.

00:36:39 Nate: I was gonna say was, is this also in Pennsylvania?

00:36:42 Dustin: Yes, it's in Lancaster.

00:36:44 Nate: Oh, I've been to Lancaster. I mean, hence the Amish. Hence the Amish. That's right, you're right. Uh, no, I haven't been.

00:36:51 Dustin: That's what we were talking about at the beginning.

00:36:53 Nate: Yeah. No, I haven't been to this place.

00:36:56 Logan: Right, right.

00:36:57 Dustin: All right. Logan, you've been. But I don't think we've been.

00:36:59 Nate: Thank you. Dustin is my historian.

00:37:03 Dustin: All right, so that's a no for all of us. No no no. Um, I will say, though, me, my wife and my little guy all got season passes for Dutch Wonderland. So we'll be going.

00:37:15 Nate: Dustin, please just use my name.

00:37:19 Logan: No.

00:37:19 Dustin: My son. Your nephew. So let's move on down to the next one. Now we're going to be jumping over to the east or I'm sorry. Now we're going to be jumping over to the West Coast at Knott's Berry Farm. Whoa! Where? We're going to meet the Easter Beagle.

00:37:38 Logan: Yay!

00:37:40 Nate: Woo! Oh, I love Snoopy.

00:37:44 Dustin: So the Easter Beagle is actually Snoopy.

00:37:46 Nate: Confucius.

00:37:47 Logan: You're right.

00:37:48 Nate: I am Confucius. They just dressed Snoopy up like a bunny.

00:37:51 Dustin: Like the Easter bunny. Yeah.

00:37:52 Nate: And you meet him. Oh, he's a beagle, right?

00:37:55 Dustin: Yes. He is a beagle. Yes.

00:37:56 Nate: I thought beagles were brown.

00:37:58 Dustin: Beagles can come in many different colors.

00:38:00 Nate: Yeah. Nathaniel, please, if you're beagle, then why are you, boy?

00:38:08 Dustin: Anyways. Yeah. No, this is basically you meet Snoopy, who's dressed up like the Easter Bunny at the Camp Snoopy area. Now, I know for a fact this happens at Knott's Berry Farm. This could happen at other Cedar Fair slash Six Flags areas, but I couldn't find anything concrete.

00:38:23 Nate: It could also happen in Japan, maybe.

00:38:27 Dustin: I don't.

00:38:27 Nate: Know Japan. I don't know either. I don't know if they are big on East or, well, I don't know. Big on Christmas.

00:38:35 Dustin: Yeah, I don't know. But I've never been to Knott's Berry Farm. Logan hasn't Nate have you.

00:38:40 Nate: No he hasn't. No. I've never been to Knott's Berry Farm.

00:38:44 Dustin: Logan, you're Nate's historian.

00:38:46 Logan: Which is each other's.

00:38:48 Nate: I want to get at least one of these. But I don't think looking at this list. I don't think I'm gonna look. Yeah, I know.

00:38:55 Logan: And.

00:38:55 Speaker 10: No, no.

00:38:59 Dustin: I see you've jumped all.

00:39:00 Logan: The way down to the.

00:39:01 Dustin: Honorable mention.

00:39:03 Logan: It's not my fault.

00:39:03 Nate: You can't put the name there and not expect me to sing it.

00:39:06 Dustin: All right, so let's, uh, let's wrap it up with number ten, and then we can talk about the honorable mentions at the end. All right, number ten, we're gonna hop back down to Florida because I organize these poorly. Actually, no. We could stay on the East Coast and San Antonio's.

00:39:20 Nate: And yes, we were.

00:39:22 Dustin: I'm sorry. We were on the West coast. Oh, right. I don't know, we're just gonna have to. SeaWorld. Okay, wherever you are, just hop to SeaWorld. All right.

00:39:28 Nate: Hopping from the west coast to SeaWorld does not sound like a we. Yeah. Well, it sounds exhausting.

00:39:34 Dustin: It does sound exhausting, but, you know, we did it, and we're proud. So I know at least in Orlando, it's a golden egg. But there's a tradition where there is a egg that is hidden. And if you find it, you can collect a prize. Ooh.

00:39:51 Nate: That's unique.

00:39:52 Dustin: The one in San Antonio. I think there's multiple eggs. I'm not sure. Um, and I don't know if they do it in San Diego, but it's. I haven't found much information about this. I know it's in. They did it in twenty nineteen and definitely did it last year. They call it a tradition that they do every year.

00:40:09 Logan: They definitely did it or definitely didn't..

00:40:10 Dustin: Did do it. They did it. And but from my understanding, it's a big egg that's just hidden similar to the ones in Epcot. Um, but it's just one. And they say on their blog that they'll give you hints throughout the day. Just check their social media. I check their social media for last year. There was only one post saying it's out there and then just, I don't know, twenty to fifty comments of people saying, are there any hints? Is it out there? Has anybody found it? So I don't know anything about it. I don't know if anybody collected a prize. I don't know if anybody found it, but apparently that's a thing. And uh, last year it was, um, they did it both Saturday and Sunday.

00:40:53 Logan: Where are you going? In egg. I got to get the prize. You promise now?

00:41:09 Dustin: I have not done this. Have you guys done this?

00:41:11 Nate: No. Nathaniel hasn't even been to Sea World.

00:41:14 Logan: Nate is.

00:41:15 Dustin: A no. I thought that was his old stomping ground.

00:41:18 Logan: All right.

00:41:18 Nate: It is not my stomping ground.

00:41:20 Dustin: Going back through the list.

00:41:21 Logan: Let's do it again.

00:41:22 Dustin: We had sunrise services, which none of us had. Then we did the Magic Kingdom Easter Parade. None of us meet Mr. and Mrs. Bunny. None of us has done the Easter eggs in the Grand Floridian. None of us, uh, Eggstravaganza egg.

00:41:40 Logan: Hunts.

00:41:40 Dustin: At Epcot. I have this eggstravaganza. Meet the Easter Bunny. None of us. Elmo's egg extravaganza. Another eggstravaganza at Sesame Place. None of us have done.

00:41:54 Nate: Yeah, they got creative with the egg cellent.

00:41:56 Dustin: Yeah. Egg cellent. They switched it up. Yeah. Celebration at Dutch Wonderland. None of us, uh, none of us met the Easter Beagle at Knott's Berry Farm. None of us has done the sea world a golden egg hunt. So out of all of this, only one of us has done one of these. But, uh, honorable mentions. If you're looking for something to do on Easter Day, when it comes to the theme parks, there are a bunch of festivals going on. So at Dollywood they have the.

00:42:24 Logan: And, uh.

00:42:30 Dustin: You gotta say the name love you. Yes, the I Will Always Love You festival in Busch Gardens, Tampa. They have the food, wine and Garden Festival, and in Epcot they have the food and wine. Uh, they have the Food and Wine Festival. And on that day, the concert is going to be sugar Ray. Yay!

00:42:52 Nate: Sugar Ray.

00:42:54 Dustin: So what do you guys think? Um, think about this list. Are you guys going to try and get some of these done?

00:42:59 Nate: Actually we might. I'm definitely at the very least, the Easter eggs at the Grand Floridian. Yes. Definitely gonna see the effects of the Grand Floridian. Maybe the parade. Yeah, we'll definitely keep an eye out.

00:43:11 Dustin: Um, I know this year we're gonna try and do the, uh, Restore Bunny and the egg silent celebration at Dutch Wonderland, so that'll be fun. So, what are you. What about you guys? All the listeners out there? Have you guys done? Oh my gosh.

00:43:24 Nate: Are you guys getting it done?

00:43:27 Logan: Get her done. Here's our list.

00:43:29 Dustin: So what about you all you listeners out there? Have you guys done any of these things? Are you interested? Are you gonna be in the parks during Easter? And Passover is around this time. Happy Passover as well. Well, hold on, let me see what it is. Oh, it does overlap. Yeah.

00:43:59 Nate: You probably can't eat the Easter eggs, though, if you're celebrating Christmas, actually.

00:44:03 Dustin: Well, guys, this is the first day of Passover. So happy Passover.

00:44:07 Nate: What a pleasant Passover episode we have today. Passover episode. We talk about Easter. Come join us for this episode of Passover where we talk Easter. Happy Passover Pothos. Have you heard of our Lord and Savior Jesus?
