Hi. I'm Jen, and I play Mara Elderwood. Welcome to our own home brew role playing game. It's made by our game master, Eric, aka doctor Awesome. Now you'll be entering the world of Sariva that's very different from our own.

Mara (Jenn):

Now just so you know, this isn't Dungeons and Dragons. This is a home broom game, so you'll notice there's differences between the 2. But I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Like a Viking. Cool.

Melody (Tay):

Okay. Sure. I'll look at my fellow people.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

If you guys figure out a plan for that, you can let me know. Otherwise, if you wanna save these people, I know it sounds crazy, but cross the river here just just north of us, you had about, half a day's travel into the plains to go to the, northeast, and you'll come across an encampment of Hytherian raiders. K. It's about a 100 and some odd men, Hytherion warriors, a raiding party. I know these people will be taken as, you know, hostages or whatever, but they're in better situation with them than they are on their own.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

That monster hoard is not gonna try to tangle with those hytherians if they don't have to. Do you wanna bring that up to the villagers?

Jer (Joe):

Yeah. I'm gonna give them the option too.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Okay. Alright. Alright. The the guy that was talking to you guys when he brought, the widow white White Hawk out, he says, but I'd rather deal with the Hyperians. We can give them some money, and they'll probably, you know, be okay to get back to the

Jer (Joe):

North. Party members?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Are there any of in this group?

Jer (Joe):

I mean, not like Is what is Machitus Hytherion?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

No.

Melody (Tay):

No. Please speak 100%. Hi, Therian.

Mara (Jenn):

There's Melody. Melody couldn't go through.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

We could at least pay them a fee.

Mara (Jenn):

Can you throw some names around?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

You have a family name? Genjiro asks Melody. Like, do you have a family name that they might recognize and respect?

Melody (Tay):

Sorry. Were you looking at my

Jer (Joe):

Actually, now that I now that I recall, let's go meet up with these Hyperians.

Mara (Jenn):

Oh, no.

Jer (Joe):

Let me see if I recognize anyone.

Melody (Tay):

Oh, Havel. His last name is Havel. Shadow Sky Shadow.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Yeah. Maybe they recognize the name. Well, in the morning, we can head across this river, take the people over there. Gengiro says I can give I can give 200 gold to them if they'll take the people north to, Shadows Bluffs safely.

Mara (Jenn):

Yeah. We have gold too we can chip in.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

I mean, we'll let Melody talk to them. She can say, hey, you know, I'm I'm from, I consider Havel my family. So maybe they'll take that and And kill us. Yeah.

Melody (Tay):

Damn killer.

Jer (Joe):

Drinking south and feel dead. Oh.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

And Joe says, I have a trick if if if we need it.

Melody (Tay):

Okay.

Jer (Joe):

We're Oil in agreement?

Mara (Jenn):

Yes.

Melody (Tay):

Yes. We are going to cross the river and go into the plains. Over the river and through the wood. Alright.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

So you guys you guys rest here for the night. You get your EPMP rejuvenated. Oh. Most of your your stuff is healing. Joe, you're short, 200 life force you couldn't heal.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Melody, you're in the same boat. You bandaged it up, and you get you guys at least have your wounds are closing, but, you can't get to full life force right now unless you guys have some sort of healing magic. As dawn comes, Mara, you're you're on the edge of being, starting to head into the need to feed.

Mara (Jenn):

The need to first feed.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Yep. Just like Iceman. Okay. So you still have the 17 villagers. They they bury, widow White Hawk in the morning.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

She didn't make it through the night, so they set a burial outside the cave. They speak some words. Genjiro does some, shammalama ding dong stuff. I don't know. You know, rings the bell, does the whole I don't know.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

They there's a couple of people here from the town that probably attended to the the church a lot, so they say some some nice things. The thief the young thief guy says, I'll be here. So if you guys ever come up with that plan, I'm waiting here to meet up with some people that we might take the river north. If you guys come up with a plan to take that airship, you know where I'm at. I got explosives.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Just let me know. So you guys set off. You cross the river pretty easily. It's not you're at a narrow portion and it's very rocky, so it's pretty easy to just jump from rock to rock or step from, you know, one stone to the next. You get to the other side.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

It takes you about 4 hours walking. It's actually pretty warm, which is a good thing for the first, 1st day of this, new spring that's actually been warm to where you feel, you know, like, wow. I actually gotta, you know, loosen up some of my armor and clothing to kinda breathe a bit. One, you're kinda hungry as well. You guys get to the edge of the I wouldn't say it's like a plateau, but it is a slight rise and then it's just flat land.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Like, flat land for as a good you'd say good days travel worth of flat land. You don't see trees, you don't see bushes, you know, but you do see some, yurts. I guess, what's called yurt?

Melody (Tay):

Or is

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

that what I'm talking about? So you guys are about here. You see some you see about a dozen yurts and

Jer (Joe):

a bunch of,

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

oxen and stuff. A couple of campfires as you guys are approaching. The villagers all get into, like, 2 2, 2 by 2 or whatever, you know, very close line of people walking. Try to look as, peaceful and nonthreatening as possible. You do already see a couple of the iutherians in different places around their camp.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

They're already watching your guys' direction. One of them sounds on a horn, and you see a couple of them come out of, one of the yurks.

Melody (Tay):

Can I try to talk to them?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Yeah. They're not you're not up that close yet, but you could try to see if you recognize anyone. You guys can roll your chance to perceive.

Jer (Joe):

Yeah. I'd like to.

Mara (Jenn):

I recognize somebody. I don't even

Jer (Joe):

I don't even recognize my party members.

Melody (Tay):

I am rolling. I got I'm trying to roll underneath. Right? Oh my god. Joe, that's the worst roll ever.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

You did recognize someone? No? I did. Mara, you recognize, the guy from the first night in, town from the festival. The hype the Hytirion guy that helped with, Brother Phalen.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

He's on your guys' n p c list. His name is Gunther Stromgard.

Mara (Jenn):

Gunther.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Dark haired, mustache, goatee kind of guy, shoulder length hair, wears blue furs and leathers, carries an axe. He was there at the battle, the first night with the Wyvern and everything in, Balanforth. He's standing next to a guy that has a, a big war hammer, which strangely has the, the symbol of the holy order of light, the star, the 4 point star with the halo on the hammer. It's a large war hammer, probably stands about 5 5a half feet. And, they're standing there.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

They come walking forward from the tent.

Mara (Jenn):

And

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Gunther put, raises his hand. He's like, it's the witch.

Mara (Jenn):

I was like, I'll put my arm up. I'm like, hi, strong man.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Good day to you.

Melody (Tay):

Good day to you.

Mara (Jenn):

Now I introduced myself. It's like we fought together with the Wyvern and protecting the dust.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

I remember, There's a lot of people with you now. You look more like refugees than fighters.

Mara (Jenn):

Balanforth and Locmorr have been attacked by a horde of monsters.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Rumor has this we've heard of, then that that horde numbers in the, couple thousand.

Mara (Jenn):

I believe it. We may have a bounty on our heads because we killed some of their higher leadership.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Good on you. Oh. You deserve it.

Mara (Jenn):

Would you be willing

Melody (Tay):

to take gold to help these people?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Alright. He looks over at the guy with the hammer. Dad with the hammer looks over you guys for a few seconds, and he points at Melody and says something in Hyperion to, Gunther.

Melody (Tay):

Can I overhear what they said?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Yeah. He says that's the bard from the main hall of the, Sky Shadow family.

Melody (Tay):

Can I respond to him in Hytheion that, yes, I am?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Okay. Alright. So you guys get 250 experience points each. They say, alright. We don't mind helping the people.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Actually, they point over at you, Jer, the guy with the hammer. He says, are you a knight of Balanforce? No. Well, forest witch. What's your name?

Mara (Jenn):

Mara.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Mara. If Ballenforce is in serious trouble, I won't help the imperials, but if you take word to the duchess, I can come south with 250 men. We will help Falunford. But we will only help the

Melody (Tay):

duchess. Agreed.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Her husband was an honorable man. We may have been enemies a long time ago, but he was an honorable man.

Mara (Jenn):

I need to save her daughter.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

And we will work together. Half my people will, and will go with Gunther and take your, refugees to Shadow's Bluff. I will go gather my men and, start a battle plan. I I'm pretty sure our best bet would be to attack from the south near lock lock from Lockmore through the, Lightwood to hit the southern part of the the horde.

Jer (Joe):

What about the cave?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

What cave?

Jer (Joe):

The cave, northwest of Lockmoor leading into Balanford.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

There's an entrance into the city?

Jer (Joe):

Yes.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

That would be great.

Jer (Joe):

We can show you.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Yeah. Then we could cut we could cut straight towards the Duchess's estate and get them out.

Jer (Joe):

It's right across from the Duchess's estate.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Excellent. Let me gather my men. It'll take me a day, and we'll be ready.

Mara (Jenn):

Agreed. We'll be ready.

Melody (Tay):

Well, he does that. Can we, like, look around for, like, rations?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Yeah. He says if you need stuff, go to my quarter master.

Mara (Jenn):

Is there anything for me to eat here?

Jer (Joe):

It's extra rare.

Mara (Jenn):

Shut up.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Anything extra rare or dying?

Jer (Joe):

So rare. It's so loud. So rare. It's so rare. It's actually sleeping.

Mara (Jenn):

Sleeping. It's sleeping. I'll take sleeping.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

He says I have prisoners.

Mara (Jenn):

Is there one you're not too fond of?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

I'm not fond of all of them, but that's because they're Imperials.

Mara (Jenn):

No problem. I just need one.

Jer (Joe):

I wonder if we see there's one we can learn something from and then then we can Yeah. Go to the sushi buffet. The sushi buffet.

Mara (Jenn):

It's all raw.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Alright. When you guys go over to talk to them, on the way over there, Melody, you're hit with an extremely sharp pain And it actually brings you down, like, to your knees. You're kneeling for a second. You all thought it looked like she, a lightning came from the center of her and then shot, you know, like, something shot from the sky and hit the center of her body. And you hear the disembodied voice again.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

It says, sister, they're going to make you have no options for escape.

Melody (Tay):

Can I speak to the voice and say, where are you?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

I'm in the mountains near the tunnel. Find my crystal. Use your guide between the guide, the light, and or the guide, the key, and the light. You can free me, and I'll help you.

Melody (Tay):

You said the guy, the key, and the what?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

The light.

Melody (Tay):

The light.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

He is coming. Who? He knows you're he knows you're alive and that you're here.

Melody (Tay):

Who is coming?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Demias is coming.

Mara (Jenn):

K.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Don't underestimate him. He defeated us all.

Melody (Tay):

Mara (Jenn):

Melody (Tay):

Alright. So I have I know who the guide is. Can I ask her what the key in the light is?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

She's not speaking anymore. It hurts you for a second, but she had to get your attention. Basically, she used her lightning. She

Mara (Jenn):

Can I pull

Jer (Joe):

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

tell you was that she's getting stronger that you're closer, but her powers are limited because she's in prison.

Mara (Jenn):

Can I pull the amulet out and see if it's pointing in a certain direction?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Yeah. 500 experience points. The I'll show you what the amulet looks like, and then I'll give it to you.

Mara (Jenn):

That's okay. But it's pointing in a direction? Yes.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Melody (Tay):

Why does we wanna go to shadows bluff? Or is it part of your story as to why? No? Oh.

Mara (Jenn):

I was trying to get the Thorn's Injustice, I

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

think we were trying to get transport for with Dolian. Remember, Dolion believes his wife is alive in the army and land. An airship from Shadow's Bluff would be the fastest way to get there.

Melody (Tay):

If we went to shadows, well, we can get that airship and then reignite Julian with the sun.

Mara (Jenn):

Sounds kind of a punk. That's true.

Melody (Tay):

He he is. He's a he's a meanie face. Yeah. Teenage punk.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

He's grown up without his mom or dad. So

Melody (Tay):

No. He's acting a lot like his dad. So head down that same path. Oh, shit.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Oh. I'm throwing shade at Dollyon.

Melody (Tay):

That's right, Dollyon. I'm throwing shade at you. I know you can't see me right now, but I know you will listen to this in a bit. Bitch.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Man, you gotta get them out of the city. Genduro mentions it. Like, if we go with the Hythereans in so they can help get the duchess out, we've got to find Machidas and Dollyon and get them out of the city.

Melody (Tay):

Right. And then we can also get the transport of the horses, and we'll have rations and bandages, and we'll have them just

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

True. That might that might help us at least, we get the duchess out

Melody (Tay):

The horses can get us to Shadows Bluff pretty quickly, or

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

if we take the horses and shoot out the north side of Bowingford and head to

Jer (Joe):

the caves, that's when we'll be the closest to the caves.

Melody (Tay):

Yeah. Are there any, horses at the camp that we're at right now?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Yes. They have tall boots.

Melody (Tay):

Okay. How long is the journey to Shadow Clone?

Jer (Joe):

6 legged horse.

Melody (Tay):

Oh, shoot. How long is the journey on horseback from where we're at to Shadow's Bluff?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Day and a half.

Melody (Tay):

Shoot. Okay.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Because you guys are about right here.

Melody (Tay):

Okay. Well, If we go with

Mara (Jenn):

the Hyperians into Balanforth, get our peeps, and then go to the caves.

Jer (Joe):

Peeps go to caves.

Melody (Tay):

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Alright. So, I'm just gonna put these here for visual aid. Okay. I'm not gonna put them there because it's not letting me. And we don't know why.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Melody (Tay):

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Oh, there they are.

Mara (Jenn):

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Okay. So this is just for visuals and bound forth parent's situation. You guys are gonna come, though, into this cave over here

Mara (Jenn):

Mhmm.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

And head into the city.

Melody (Tay):

Yes. Hopefully, I can be sneakier than I was earlier.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Alright. So you guys gave the Hytherians the location of the cave, which is over here and made your way back. The villagers stayed in this camp to help them pack up, and then they're gonna start heading north with Gunther and the other then and half of the men to get to Shadow's Bluff. The other 200 some odd men are gonna come and meet you guys at this cave. So as you guys cross back through here, like I said, he's got this huge battlefield massacre here, which makes a lot more sense now with all the arrows and stuff because you got to see the same effect when you saw the airships at Lochmoor.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

So, basically, it looks as if the Obsidian Order killed off all these soldiers. It would have made easy killing for them because it was 2 airships just above on either side would have just bombarded them with arrows.

Melody (Tay):

Hey. You guys remember when we went into this tunnel that, Irene said that you couldn't get back through the tunnel into the library? Like, it as soon as she closed the hatch, she said you can't come back out. So are we going into, like, a dead end?

Jer (Joe):

Are there is there a river that'll take us to, a matching area as the what's that what's that other freaking temple again?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

The Hori temple.

Jer (Joe):

The Hori temple. Yeah.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

The river should connect to the same underground water because, you know, it's a very porous area underneath the the city. Oh, so cool. Limestone taverns.

Mara (Jenn):

Oh, sorry.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Limestone cowboys. Did navigate that

Jer (Joe):

and I refuse to roll. Try to navigate This is

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

the last time anyone heard from Jer.

Jer (Joe):

He's lost in the city for the rest of the time.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Time. Alright. So you guys are at the cave. You can make it back over to the bridge that you guys put back up. When you get there, like I said, it's a crevice that or a small crevice.

Melody (Tay):

I'm gonna say this.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Anyway, to the to the river underground, and you guys can follow that back around to the Hori temple. So it's a it's a roundabout way, but you guys get get through there. The, Hythereon's following Hyperion's following in behind you guys, and let me see. Alright. So you guys would come out, here.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

So you guys get out the the stairwell from underneath the Hori temple, and the start pouring out and, you know, trying to go along this wall because they know you've gotta work through the the town down towards, steam alley where all the garbage and crap is, and you'll cut through here to the the central part of the of Battleford. So Mhmm. You guys are working your way straight.

Melody (Tay):

The library on this map?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

The library would be this way.

Melody (Tay):

Okay.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Able to is that showing? Okay. So, as soon as you guys make surface from underground I mean, while you were down there, you could hear the, you know, report of gunfire, cannons, screams, monstrous roars. When you guys make surface, the amount of smoke and dust and everything else in the air is making it seem like it's already like, the evening, like twilight. It's hard.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

It blocks out a lot of the sun, and it's gagging smoke because so much stuff is on fire. There's, the the the monster hordes have obviously also used a lot of the tunnels or forest underground to get here. One thing that stood stood out to your guys' mind is you remember the whole town crier and those other men were murdered and their bodies washed out into the, river to the west, to the this place. Yeah. They probably use the same tunnels that those bodies washed out in to come back into the through the wells and whatnot.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

But, you guys see occasionally, you'll see a couple of gnolls charge past if, you know, they're fighting with, some imperials that are firing weapons and stuff. It's it's pretty chaotic, but you stay close to the walls and try to stay out of the way. Occasionally, you'll see a couple to have to start battling it out with some of the monster horde. Not a fan of this now that I have the other system. So as you guys are making your way down here, this is where they're trying to make their way back behind these buildings, but crashing crashing out of some of these buildings, carrying parts and pieces of, some of the unfortunate souls who didn't, evacuate Battle and Forth.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Jer (Joe):

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

a couple gnolls ahead of you. Basically, they they kinda just stumbled upon you guys. Alright. So you guys have your battle or bat battle order? Did you guys pick 1 between yourselves?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Jer (Joe):

Do you have the map up yet?

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Oh, hold on. I'm just putting the last things on the map, and then I'll bring it up for you guys to see. But, is it is it up? Yep. Yeah.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

I'm doing that. Okay. Okay. So you guys see the situation. How do you guys want to approach?

Jer (Joe):

You know, on a quick side note, I think it's it's really to our advantage to let Mara do her thing first and then, like, pick off who's left. Because she has the best, like, AOE attacks by by far. And then we see what the situation is after that, you know. Like, in terms of, like, if we had to roll initiative, like, 1 on 1, that's fine. But, like, I think for the future, that's a good strategy for the group.

Jer (Joe):

Or if anyone No. If anyone else cast spells, you like, let the spell let the spell casters do their thing first. And then the the fighters pick off what's left. Instead of jumping in there, and then they're trying to do AOE.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

We'll let, Mara and Melody throw out what they wanna throw out, and then, you and Genjiro could try to figure out whoever's left.

Jer (Joe):

Ideally, I I don't have to do anything. I can just grab a coffee and watch.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

It's like, ideally, the women will kill them all, and we can just hang out and smoke. Smoke them if you got them. Alright. Mara, do you have an attack?

Melody (Tay):

Of course.

Mara (Jenn):

Let me I'm going to cast, hail of stones to, homeboys off to the right here or Yeah. Those ones. Yeah. To that right? Yeah.

Mara (Jenn):

So I'll cast hail of stones on them, and then, I'll come back down and do a seismic strike to the ground, the ones directly in front of me. Okay. So the hail of sim is gonna be a 35 meter area.

Jer (Joe):

Okay.

Mara (Jenn):

My damage doesn't make any sense. Yeah. So I did 1100 damage to the ones off to the left or to the right right right there.

Jer (Joe):

And they

Mara (Jenn):

have to first their burst their physical resist resistance negative 10%. And then the seismic strike to the front. They take a 175 damage, and it should be a 2 meter area times 5. So 10 meter area, all targets, and they get negative two actions.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Okay. Sweet. Alright. So the I took off the the ones that were dead. Melody, it's your turn.

Melody (Tay):

Alright. Mara, how much EPMP did you use real quick?

Jer (Joe):

We just rested. All of it.

Melody (Tay):

Did you say all of it? So

Mara (Jenn):

400.

Melody (Tay):

Okay. Alright. And you still have like a 1,000 left. Right? My EPMP?

Melody (Tay):

Mhmm.

Mara (Jenn):

I have 2,000 EPMP left.

Melody (Tay):

Oh. Alright. So

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Good.

So, you know, he's he's fighting them for a short period of time, but it's basically cutting enough off. And the between that and the Hytherian warriors coming through, seems like most of the monster horde in this area is just either falling back or outside of the castle again, so the square is clear for now. And then after a few more moments, the dragon disappears. So you guys can cross through this archway now. This would be the, east east facing archway that leads into the central parts of Ballonfort.

You guys make it to Fox Run Hollow. The heat the woods here are very dense, so you guys only ride in for maybe the first hour, and then it's time to walk the horses because of the you're not you're not on a main road.

We're fighting to protect the town, more specifically a widow and her son. And like I said earlier, reinforcements were supposed to be sent, and they were never sent. Eventually, our position was overtaken by I'm not even pulling up

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

again. You guy did you guys share anything with, Jericho?

Mara (Jenn):

Oh, yeah. We're not the you were not the tower.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

we think the well, I'm sure you heard that. We think the the guide is me because my, my mother was a, a forest witch who basically rescue rescued my father, who was having a battle nearby, and my father's name is Rall. So he is, the main general to, King Velad and Prince Dimir. His that's my father, which we already visited. Or were you there when we came across him Yeah.

Mara (Jenn):

They call me a blood witch. Anyways, my father came looking for an amulet, which I wouldn't tell him where it was. And that's when he pretty much, like, hit me with magic and knocked me unconscious for 50 years. And something mysteriously woke me up.

Jer (Joe):

Jer (Joe):

No. I've not asked. I've only been awake for however long I've been awake.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Mara (Jenn):

They're guiding me to find those to find those responsible for killing me and my, I mean, killing my men.

Melody (Tay):

Okay. So like we had alluded, I do have, a voice that talks to me. It's a disembodied voice. Mine's a female. Her name's Ariana.

Jer (Joe):

Yeah. Mine is the sky goddess who is trapped, like being held prisoner. And she calls me sister.

Mara (Jenn):

Melody (Tay):

This, I'm I'm gonna go ahead and present the what I'm looking for. This. So this is the crystal that I need to find, and this is what I think is the key. So I know that, Mara is the guide, and as you had heard, there was the disembodied voice that said that I needed the, the guide, the key, and the light. So, yeah, that's what I'm thinking.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Alright. Well, it seems like you guys, as for one thing, I mean, common places, Mara was drawn to the to Balanforce to find you, Melody. Jer was drawn to Balanforce as well to find enemies that might have been responsible, maybe the same enemies that are trying to hunt you guys down. Strangely enough, Genjiro was drawn from across the oceans to come here to save 1 person, but ended up getting mixed up with your team. Machidis came from Curis, which is as about as far west as you could possibly go, all the way over to here.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

And you guys have all kind of intertwined. One thing to mention is that the widow White Hawk spoke in ancient, but when she did, she mentioned the lion, the dragon, the mountain

Jer (Joe):

Mhmm.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

The guide. So those are all things that I mean, the that's the best translation. You gotta kinda think of it like, like the Bible. Okay? The Bible portions were written, you know, in Hebrew, some was written in Aramaic, you know, and then all of it's translated over time.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

So interpretations of that or over time translations and changes between, you know, dialects, some of the words and and meanings behind them, like what what Hebrew abomination of nature for for Hebrew is different than what we would consider as far as English an abomination. So it's the same with your guys' history and with everyone's stories. Some of these parts that you're trying to piece together, they may be called different things or spoken of by the ancients in a different way or the Chrytherians in a different way, but you gotta find the common ground between them all to try to make the little puzzle pieces fit together. But I think so far, you guys have gained a lot of the information from balance and so forth, at least to plug in the holes to to the oak the bigger picture of it's obvious that that that place held the importance of everyone coming together. For one reason or another, fate has everyone's paths crossing here, and then whether or not you follow each other's path or, you know, you guys all decide to make a path going forward with each other's goals in mind.

Oh, good game, guys. I think, we've covered a lot of ground, and I would you know, I know, Willie wanted to be here, but he's not feeling good. But, hopefully, he can catch up, and we can give him a little bit of backstory before the next event and get rolling because, it's getting good. I'm liking to see the, the growth here and the and the work together. I mean, today today, you guys, the upgrades showed where you guys were able to use a little bit different magics and, a little bit different skills, plus coordinating as you guys fought was really good.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

I thought, like, especially when, you know, hey. Joe's like, hey. We'll kinda build the wall and protect you guys. You guys lay down the law. AOE's out.

Jer (Joe):

We don't have to do anything anymore. Yeah. Get it. Old, that's no army pretty much. Shit.

It's good ways to go. And I mean, you know, it it's starting to build, like, you guys got a team where you got your, knight and your, warrior priest who can kinda put up that wall for you 2, and then Dolion would be good for sneaking around or laying down arrows and, you know, sneak attack. And then Machitus can just go crazy and run-in there, And then you guys can just blow everything up. You know? Hopefully not with Machitus inside.

Melody (Tay):

But, he can take it. He's fine.

Dr.Awesome (Eric):

Yeah. He's a tough guy. But, no, I thought it was good. You guys did great. I enjoyed it.

We'll work on it and keep moving because, it's getting it's it's good. And I mean, we blew through its, what, 5 hours minus maybe 30 minutes of breaks and stuff. Four and a half hours, we're we're turning out like that's 2 more episodes, so it's awesome.
