00:00
Hi, it's Dayna, and I'm here with your divination for the new moon in sidereal Aries. The 2026 Sidereal Astrology Guide says, intuitively planting seeds of ambition.
00:33
Okay, on the last episode of the podcast, I ended talking about how, when I talk to y'all again, it would be a new moon in sidereal Aries. And I was talking about how I was looking forward to the sidereal Aries transits because these are the somebody do something transits. Historically, we have a precedent that we can look to to understand and see how...
01:00
sidereal aries transits play out. But before we get there, I just want to lay out some of the meanings of sidereal aries for us. So in divination for liberation, every sign is an experience, right? And if you have a sign occupied in your birth chart or like now, there is a particular sign occupied in real time, that sign is describing the types of experiences you
01:30
growing up, the types of experiences rather that shaped and defined your environment and upbringing. And right now, it means that the sidereal Aries experience is the one that we are collectively dealing with, right? And based on your birth chart, you are going to contend with, feel these Aries transits differently based on how it...
01:59
shows up in your birth chart. So the ideal of Aquarius, we're not talking about Aquarius, we're talking about Aries. The ideal of Aries, we could go to our handy dandy.
02:14
handy dandy sidereal astrology guide. And in our little Aries page here, it says, Aries is the self governor. That means to be under the authority of your own will. That means to be under the authority of your own drive, your own ambition, the felt
02:44
sense of capability and capacity that you have is what drives Aries. Doesn't matter if we talking about Aries Sun, Aries Rising, Aries Venus, Aries Saturn, or like right now, the Aries New Moon. The ideal of sidereal Aries is to know and show what you're capable of. So...
03:11
a defining feature of fire signs is this sense that what I experience in the world, the way people treat me, what happens to me, all of this is a statement about me in some way. So for Aries, something not being the way that Aries wants it to, Aries interprets that as a statement about their capabilities. They interpret that as a statement about...
03:40
their capacity. People who have a strong sidereal Aries signature in their birth chart or people who have a strong Mars signature in their birth chart often carry an excessive sense of personal responsibility. That this is my job, this is my responsibility. If I don't do it, who gon' do it? Right? Aries is the sign of let me do it, I got it, back off. Okay? This is often because,
04:10
as we'll get to um in the wound, that Aries has in some way been left abandoned, held responsible for something that wasn't really their responsibility or was age inappropriate in terms of responsibility. The tool that Aries uses is the will and entitlement. So this is what I was talking about when I said that the self-governor, means that
04:40
Aries is under the authority of their own will. And this sense of entitlement means that I don't need anybody's permission. And for Aries, it also means it's my responsibility. I have to do it. I have to do something. The task of Aries is control and regulation. So Aries is using the tool of its own will and sense of entitlement to act and be.
05:09
to complete the task of getting control, right? I think that spells it out pretty clearly that Aries is the sign of, got it, I'ma do it, back off, right? Or I gotta do it, cause ain't nobody else here to do it, right? The gift of Aries is strength and power. So we can interpret that to understand that right now, under this building,
05:38
Sidereal Aries, new moon. Mercury and Mars are tagging, they're behind. So we're going to get to those transits, you know, next month, later in April and in May, right? And those will be equally powerful. So as we move through this time period of Sidereal Aries, the gift that we all have is to have access to our strength and power, which connects to that ideal, to know and show what you're capable of.
06:06
There are often times that we feel burdened by the intensity and the breadth of everything that is wrong in society. And when there is no fire in the sky, which there hasn't been up until Venus joined Aries, when was that? Venus entered Aries on March 25th. So prior to that, we really didn't have Aries. And...
06:35
a combination of Aquarius and Pisces was really revealing to us the depths of depravity and the depths of the muck and the mire. There's been a steady revelation of everything that's wrong. The dots have been connecting in ways that for many people they didn't see before. They didn't see the connection between Gaza and Iran. They didn't see
07:05
the connection between Kamala Harris saying that she wanted to make the United States military the most lethal in the world and her designation of Iran as the greatest threat to America. They didn't see the connection between that and Trump going to war against Iran. They thought those two things were separate, but understanding that AIPAC and Israel are funding the whole thing. They've been going America into
07:33
conflict and demanding money and taking all of our taxpayer money for their free universal health care and housing and schooling and subsidies of everything, right? People didn't see the connection and Pisces has really been working on us. Saturn in Pisces has really been working on us to connect the dots that shape reality. Things are not what they appear to be. Lies often occur.
08:00
by omission. You don't know what you don't know until you tap into your intuition that is able to hear what is being withheld, or at least to have some suspicion that the silence holds a truth that is willfully being withheld from us. Right? So we've been burdened and heavier and heavier, like, oh my God, so many things are wrong. And then Aries came in and said, let me do it. I got this. Because Aries says, hey, do something.
08:30
That will and that entitlement drives us into action rather than being immobilized by uncertainty, being immobilized by feeling like I'm not the one to do it, somebody else should do it, feeling immobilized by the sheer weight of how much is wrong and how many problems there are to be solved and what strategy should we use and who do it? And Aerie says, come on, man, just do something.
08:59
the wound of sidereal areas is to be disowned. And it literally means that the people in your life, the people in our government, the people who are shouldered with the responsibility to complete a task, to protect, to get things done, they have disowned their responsibility and thus they've disowned us.
09:28
and it leaves us to do something. This is why I said in the last podcast episode that Aries was like, somebody do something. Okay. And then the coping strategy is recklessness. When you are disowned and you are shouldered or burdened with a responsibility, that's really someone else's job. They don't get to say, oh, that's not how you do it. That's not the right way to get your needs met. That's not the correct way to
09:58
address your anger. No, the recklessness means that this is often without premeditation, often without strategy, often without the care and consideration that, you know, somebody who had more experience or knowledge or foresight would do it. This all circles us to this moment where there have now been, I believe, 11 warehouse fires.
10:28
set by rightfully disgruntled workers. Sam Altman has had a Molotov cocktail thrown at his house. He has had bullets shot into his home. Next thing you know, he talking about a four-day work week.
10:47
is so important that we learn from this Aries. Now, remember, I talked about we have an historical precedent for the way that Aries manifest. So we have to go back to 2023 and 2024, because that was when Jupiter was in sidereal Aries, and we also had eclipses in sidereal Aries and Libra.
11:15
So what was happening in 2023 and 2024? We had hot labor summer. We had the anti-genocide encampments and protest on college campuses. We had people protesting at the speeches and rallies of Kamala Harris and various other politicians against genocide.
11:43
supporting the dignity and right to self-determination of Palestinians. This time connects directly back to that period of sidereal Aries transits. And until we resolve the issues that these time periods correlate to, every sidereal Aries transit is going to bring it up. Until we get Israel out of American politics,
12:12
until is not real don't exist as a state at all, because it's an illegitimate colonizer. Argue with your mama, but also, let me stop. Oh.
12:29
until we get corporate finance out of American politics, until we connect the dots between the violence in Gaza against Palestinians, the theft of their land, their homes, the destruction of their schools, their museums, destruction of their trees and the land, until we connect that with our struggle, this what we're going to be dealing with. Because the same entity that says,
12:56
that you don't get to have healthcare you can afford, you don't get to have childcare that you can afford, you don't get to have high-speed rails, you don't get to have, you know, schools.
13:12
that actually support the development of your child and support the discovery of their unique talents and the contributions that they will be able to make to their community and the world. We have to connect the dots between these two things. And this is why we are intuitively planting seeds of ambition. Because Aries doesn't think, Aries doesn't feel, Aries is like there's no space between the impulse and the action.
13:41
And sometimes that's really good because look what happens when people just act and think later. Yeah, you don't always like the way it goes. But again, when we have been left to take responsibility for the very things we elect officials and pay taxes to do,
14:06
Nobody gets to tell us how we respond to that abdication of duty and responsibility and the fallout of that. You don't get to police someone's rage when you refuse to pay them a livable wage that is causing them spikes in cortisol, dependency on alcohol and caffeine, sleepless nights, not enough food.
14:33
housing instability, you don't get to police the way that someone reacts to those circumstances. But unfortunately, that's what happens. People want to say, oh, well, that's not the right way to do it. What's the right way?
14:49
What's the right way? Unfortunately, Venus is going to be entering Sidereal Taurus at the same time as this new moon. And while we're intuitively planting seeds of ambition, Venus in Taurus says, seeking sameness in relation to Blink. This also is saying enforcing sameness. Someone...
15:16
on threads asked me a question because I said that when Venus enters Taurus, the state is going to go super fascist. We are going to see serious pushback against the stuff that's been going on that I referred to earlier. And they asked, well, isn't Venus at home in Taurus? I thought that was a good thing. So there is no inherently good or bad placement.
15:47
in astrology, especially not in divination, proliferation, sidereal astrology. There is no good or bad placement. There are principles and the context within which those principles manifest, results may vary. But one thing I know for sure is that the historical precedent of Venus and Aries is policing, police, repression, fascism, tone policing.
16:19
If we go back to 2024 and Jupiter entered Sidereal Taurus, up until then, the college encampments protesting the genocide and violence against Gaza were spreading like wildfire. As soon as Jupiter entered Taurus, I believe it was like May 1st,
16:49
The police retaliation and pushback came in full force.
16:56
arresting students, suspending them, kicking them out of school. The enforcement of sameness says, this is how we feel about blank. In the case of the anti-genocide protest, we said, this is how we feel collectively about Gaza. This is how we collectively feel about Israel. And you are expressing emotions that are outside of the realm
17:25
that we've decided are appropriate emotions to express. You are not allowed to be angry. You are not allowed to be indignant. You are not allowed to resist. You are not allowed to speak up because all of those things are a reflection of your subjective emotional reality and moral outrage in response to this thing.
17:48
that we've decided is American policy and that we've decided is okay. And the only emotions that you are allowed to express about the war in Gaza, the only emotions that you are allowed to express about being underpaid, the only emotions that you are allowed to express about not having healthcare, being housing insecure, having no access to health insurance, the only emotion you are allowed to express is compliance or silence.
18:17
And if it's not compliance or silence, we are going to punish you because we are enforcing the same feeling on everybody. are enforcing the same identity on everybody and we are enforcing the same moral compass on everybody. So understand, not been much rhetoric yet.
18:42
not been much emotional manipulation by the media, but understand what's coming is more upset, more resistance, more rebellion, more recklessness, more somebody doing something. And in reaction and a retaliation to that, more repression, specifically in the form of emotional manipulation, which is to say,
19:09
They're going to tell you how you're supposed to feel about those warehouse fires.
19:16
But it's important that you decide for yourself how you want to feel. I think one of the benefits of this moment and this new moon with Mars being in sidereal Pisces, which is uh since April 2nd driven by intuition to uncover the truth. Mars in sidereal Pisces is saying, oh ooh, connect the dots.
19:46
Be armed with suspicion to protect you from covert lies.
19:57
arm yourself with your intuition so that you can feel and hear the truths that are held in the silence and in the inaction.
20:17
Individually, this is a moment where we're all feeling the need to break free. We might have some skepticism soared towards that arising feeling to break free.
20:34
We might have some skepticism towards our own ambition. Where is this coming from? Why do I want to do this? Those are worthy questions. But the time and season that we are moving into Pisces and Aries, that's where we are right now. And the Pisces is skeptical, it's suspicious, it's connecting the dots that shape reality.
21:03
It's understanding that things can happen for you that don't actually come from your actions, your mind, your thoughts, your strategies. It seems like a miracle, but what it really is is that your mind has a limited capacity to perceive and conceive of things. You can only know so much. Your hard drive is limited. You can call it a miracle if you want.
21:32
You can call it things conspiring in your favor to work out for you if you want, that's fine. But the essence of it is that your mind has a limited capacity to know. Your body has limited energy to do, limited strength, limited capabilities, limited capabilities, or capacity rather. There are limitations there, but things can still work out for you.
22:00
So I think there's also in this moment, this sense of like...
22:09
You got to know when to hold them and know when to fold them. Things can play out well for you. Things can work out well for you. Pisces has like a leash on Aries because Aries can really get down on themselves and they can really beat themselves up feeling like they haven't put in enough effort. They're not strong enough. They haven't worked hard enough. They're not dedicated enough. Right? Aries often...
22:36
takes hits to their self-worth when things don't work out. They think they need another plan. They think they need another tool. They think that, okay, I just have to keep trying. But sometimes it ain't you, boo.
22:55
And I think because of the propaganda and culture of the West and in America that really pushes this individualism and this pull yourself up by your own bootstraps and the rewards of hard work, it's very hard to conceive of the possibility and the reality that sometimes you don't have to do nothing.
23:19
Sometimes you're doing.
23:23
is not taking into consideration forces that are rendering your doing impotent.
23:33
sometimes in your eagerness to exercise your strength and power, to do it because you feel like if you don't, nobody else will.
23:45
Sometimes you don't realize that the game is rigged.
23:51
You can't vote harder when the only options being presented to you are the ones that are funded by Israel who has a plan to take over Southwest Asia and North Africa. You can't vote harder in that situation.
24:12
You can't get more hours and work harder when corporations are gouging the prices.
24:23
So as we move to take action and act on our ambition and our drive to initiate change, to get control of what's going on in our lives, understand that sometimes things are not working because it's missing a screw. Somebody took it out, ain't got no batteries. They put the wrong batteries in there. Right? There are all of these factors that come into
24:52
play when we're trying to achieve something, when we're trying to break free, when we're trying to get out of a pattern. And I just get this sense that in this moment we are collectively trying to feel where is the way out of this? We're pushing and we're trying to feel what's the door that, that allows us to exit this situation that we're in, the climate disaster and
25:22
the blossoming monarchy in America and the war and violence, every direction we turn and the inflation and the corporate greed and the data centers taking over our neighborhoods with noise pollution and using up like, where is the direction I can push to get out of here? Mars in sidereal Pisces, Saturn in sidereal Pisces, Mercury in sidereal Pisces.
25:51
at this new moon is saying, hold up, you gotta connect the dots.
25:58
You have to connect the dots. What is the unifying factor that makes it all make sense?
26:06
It's not the wrong party in office. It's not. It's not because a very small group of people didn't vote for Kamala Harris.
26:18
It's not even because of Donald Trump.
26:27
With that, I'm gonna pause and we're gonna pull some cards.
26:51
All right, I'm back with the tarot cards to see what the symbolism of the tarot has to say. What is the guidance we can act upon in this moment? What are perspectives, beneficial perspectives we can take? What are necessary context and understandings that can help us make sense of this new moon moment where we are intuitively planting seeds of ambition? I get the sense that like this is not about
27:19
repeating old narratives that are likely propaganda, right? This is about connecting the dots that shape reality. All right, let's see what we've got here. We've got the 10 of swords on the bottom. So the card on the bottom is our context. It's kind of our reference point, the saying, what is this about? And once we get to the 10 in the suit of swords, we've overthunk.
27:46
We have molded over in our minds. We have yipped and yapped and typed and posted and theorized and imagined. We've done all of the thinking and wording that we can possibly do. The 10 of Swords is saying us that the efficacy of the tool of thought, the efficacy of language and words like...
28:13
we've reached a tipping point where it's no longer useful to continue having conversations. Where in your life, what relationships or dynamics in your life are you now realizing that there's actually nothing to say? There's no more words, there's no reframe, there's no rebuttal, there's no explanation. Where in your life
28:42
Are you feeling the call to, at least for a moment, let go of the need to be understood and just let yourself be misunderstood? What external circumstances in your life are you feeling the call to just let go of and not try to figure out, not try to think through, not try to strategize, not have another conversation with your friend about not...
29:10
mull it over with your therapist or journal. Where are words no longer useful in your life? Maybe it's a relationship. Maybe it's an issue that you've been dealing with internally. Maybe it's with somebody at your job. Maybe it's with HR. The 10 of Swords says that's unnecessary. The 10 of Swords also says that a lot of times we might work things up to be more than what they really are or will be in our minds.
29:40
our minds might ruminate or fixate over things that when all is said and done, it's not even a big deal. I think there is a uh heavy mental investment in something that turns out to be misplaced. Like, oh, you didn't really even have to do all of that. Okay. So let's see what we've got here. We've got the eight of pentacles.
30:11
and we've got the five of pentacles. So this is a real dichotomy here because the eight of pentacles, as you can see, is a card of productivity. It's a card of putting in time, putting in effort, putting in skill, and it materializing into something substantive, often something that has material or financial value for us. It's this card of encouraging and reinforcing the continued devotion and the continued pressing forward.
30:40
into this particular path, a continued investment of your effort and your skill. And then we have the five of pentacles that says that you don't have enough of something. Something is broken. Something doesn't work the way that it is intended. Something is being withheld from you. You are impoverished in some way. And so here's a really interesting dichotomy of, that's giving me kind of flashbacks to the...
31:10
Things that I was saying in the first part of this podcast episode of You Gotta Know When to Hold Them and You Gotta Know When to Fold Them, that sometimes things aren't working not because of your lack of effort, not because of your poor strategy, not because of your lack of skill, but because the machine is broken and it's intended to be this way. So these cards are really reinforcing, the element of time and resources.
31:38
Pentacles are about the material things that we use and the material things that we need to survive. Pentacles are also about time. Right? This is one of those readings where I don't think there is a smooth reconciliation of the contradictions. And I think that is poignant and really relevant given that
32:07
the majority of the sky is still mutable even though the new moon is cardinal. That in itself is a contradiction, but also mutable signs, sidereal Pisces where Mercury, Mars and Saturn are at this new moon, as well as Jupiter in Gemini at this new moon. So that's four planets that are in mutable signs. The defining experience of mutable signs is an intense
32:37
sensitivity to discrepancies and contradiction.
32:42
And the tool of that mutable sign is going to say, where do I place the onus of the contradiction? Is the contradiction due to my lack of knowledge? Is the contradiction due to an external lack of evidence? Is the contradiction due to a felt sense? Is the contradiction between what I believe and what I'm hearing? Like, all of those are different ways that the mutable signs manifest and materialize.
33:07
But right now we are kind of sitting between sidereal Gemini and sidereal Pisces. Gemini is like this tin of swords. It's the yipping and the yapping. It's the talking. It's the narrating. It's the words used to distract you from your own intuition. It's the conversations that are a manifestation of your own lack of self-trust. It's the narratives that have been
33:37
taught to you that are meant to make you bypass the significance and validity of your lived experience.
33:46
The 10 of swords is how much knowledge is enough knowledge for you to be sure that you know what you know. How much information is enough information for you to be sure that you know what you know. The 10 of sword says, how many times you gonna ask chat GPT?
34:09
How many times you gonna ask? Like, how much knowledge do you actually need? How much can you process at any given time? How much can you actually take into consideration and apply at any given moment?
34:28
Eight of pentacles and five of pentacles is speaking to me about being able to accept when something is no longer working.
34:45
being able to hold on to the value of your skill, being able to hold on to the confidence in your effort, being able to hold on to the knowledge of what you're capable of, even when it doesn't materialize in the actions that you want them to materialize in.
35:13
being able to say, hold the contradiction of, I'm a hard worker, I am a talented musician, I am a knowledgeable expert in my field.
35:32
I am someone who is a really good listener, whatever it may be. And to be able to hold the truth of those things that you are capable of, to be able to know your strength and power, to know what you can do and understand that the problem is not you.
35:57
You're not doing anything wrong.
36:01
Yesterday, was my, this five of pentacles was my card for the day. And I always wince a little bit when I get the five of pentacles as my card for a day because it really is this card of not having something that you need or more often something breaks. So yesterday I was reheating my tea in the microwave and I put my cute little white mug in there and the timer went off. I opened it up and I turned
36:30
to look at the TV, because I was watching something apparently very interesting. And I mistimed my closing of the microwave door with me pulling the mug out such that the door slammed into the mug, knocked it out of my hand, and it fell on the floor and broke.
36:53
And I just stood there, I was like, up, whelp, there's my five of pentacles moment. I want you to look for your five of pentacles moment over the next couple of weeks. This five of pentacles moment is going to be a moment where you finally are able to disconnect your self-worth and knowledge of what you're capable of from something malfunctioning in your life.
37:26
from the relationship malfunctioning in your life, from the job malfunctioning, from your finances not being in order. This is not because you don't know how to manage money.
37:40
You don't have enough because they keep raising the prices. The pound of ground beef used to be $4.99. It is $7.49 at Whole Foods and $6.99 at Trader Joe's.
37:57
That's a lot of money. And that's just one example.
38:06
Revolution begins in the body, we know that. But I also want to say that...
38:18
Part of this new moon and the lesson of Aries in this moment...
38:25
is
38:28
There is such a thing as overestimating your capacity and your capabilities and your awareness of your capabilities leaning into the realm that's actually someone else's responsibility. That's what I mean by overestimating your capabilities. That you have the power to fix, control,
38:58
manage, repair something that is actually in the realm of somebody else's responsibility. So these warehouse fires, they are acts of destruction and recklessness and violence. And I mean, every single one of those words in the best way.
39:23
Because one thing I said this on a live a few weeks ago, and I talked about how afraid many of us are to let capitalism collapse. And I'm a close right here. So many of us are afraid to let capitalism collapse because we rightfully fear that it is going to collapse onto our own heads.
39:53
But most of the people who are operating from that fear are not the people whose dignity, whose skin and bones and blood and sweat, whose deaths and life, whose land and labor capitalism is already built upon.
40:20
For some of us, we're not afraid of the capitalism falling on our head when it collapses because our dignity is at the foundation. Our pride is at the foundation.
40:38
are having enough is at the foundation. And so we gotta let that thing fall so we can dig up the foundation. These cards are saying, if you stop fixing it, it will break and your liberation is right there.
40:59
Thank you for tuning into the Divination for Liberation podcast. I am your host, Dayna Lynn Nuckolls, also known as The People's Oracle. When I see you in two weeks, it's gonna be a full moon in Libra ruled by Venus and Taurus. And personally, I'm not ready, but also I just gave y'all this dope word to prepare us for that.
41:25
moment. So we don't have to be afraid because the whole point of the divination is for the liberation. What's the use of knowing beforehand if we can't use that knowledge as our strategy and awareness for how to proceed when the moment comes. I just posted a post on COVID because I guess some people are now finding out that like, you know, I take COVID very seriously and have for the past six years, um,
41:53
But I shared that I've been making predictions about waves and surges in transmission of COVID, my speculation about when we could expect some type of disruption in the successive waves and surges in COVID transmission. And I ain't been wrong. I ain't been wrong, right?
42:19
The OGs know that 2026 has been my year I've been looking forward to and literally we're here and pretty much all of the United States with rare exception is either having low or very low levels of COVID transmission. As always, I will post the link to the latest wastewater report from Dr. Horger, who has been so generously creating
